Disclaimer: I do not own Power Rangers. Only my OCs.

A/N: This chapter is going to be a little different. I'm introducing a new OC that was shown at the end of Dino Thunder: Continuing the Legacy, Ch. 18 Copy That. For those who know, and figure out her connection to a specific series that I will be adapted, good for you. Lol. It's going to be a while until I get there, just because it takes me a bit just to get one chapter written, but I do have plans. Promise. I will get there. Eventually. This will not be in Zoey & Jenna's POV, but their brother's.

Chapter 4: Unexpected Friend

"Mmm. Man I could drink these all day." Zack smiled as sipped his smoothie at the Juice Bar with Trini, Kim, Billy, Jenna and Zoey.

"So," Ernie looked up after finished Kim drink, "how do you like the parrot?"

"Parrot?"

"Yeah. Tommy said it's been a finicky eater."

Kim looked over at Trini in confusion, "He did?"

"Here," he picked up a pamango and handed it to the girl, "give it another one of these."

"Thanks Ernie." She smiled and looked back at Trini, "What?"

"I don't know."

"You know, parrots are omnivores." Zoey smiled, "They eat both plants and meat. If yours is being picky, I'd try some jerky or some smoked fish."

"Um," Kim paused for a moment, "thanks. I'll that." She turned back to Trini, "You don't think this has to do with that two-headed freak, do you?"

"Tommy had to get the fruit somewhere."

"Oh, boy."

"Hey," Zack said, getting their attention, "check this out." He gestured to the entrance to show Bulk and Skull coming in wearing work out clothes.

"This outta be good." Jenna nodded as she and Zoey ran down to where their brothers were to watch.

"Hey, hey, hey, hey, hey!" Bulk yelled, getting the class' attention, "Where are all the babes?"

"Yeah!" Skull screeched, "These are just a bunch of… moms!"

"I think it's time for a little practice." Jason looked at the two moms that he and Tommy were working with and nodded to the two bullies, "Would you two like to be the attackers?"

"Sure!"

"Oh, this is gonna be fun." Tommy smiled as he heard his sister snicker from her position on the wall.

"Don't worry ladies," Bulk bragged, "we won't hurt you."

First Skull then Bulk tried attacking, but the moms used the moves that Tommy and Jason had taught them to block their advances. "Ow!" Bulk glared before the two charged as one, but they flipped them to their backs.

"Taught them how to do it." Tommy said, walking over to Jason.

"I knew we could, partner." They bumped fists as the two moms helped the guys off the mat.

"Always remember boys. Two moms are better than one."

After the class, the group gathered around the bar to chat when their communicators went off, "Um, Zoey." Tommy nodded at Jason, "Can you get home on your own?"

"Uh, yeah. I have my bike. Why?"

"There's something that we have to take care."

"They can stay here until they're ready to leave." Ernie smiled, "If they want, I'll let them help me out and I'll give them some money and free food."

"I'm always down with free food." Jenna laughed as Jason shuffled her hair.

"Be good. Mind Ernie."

"Yes sir!"

The group chuckled as they went out of the Juice Bar and teleported to the Command Center, "What's going on Zordon?" Jason asked, looking concerned, "I mean, Rita's not trying again today, is she?"

"Man," Zack sighed, "that bird was bad enough."

"I'm afraid that it's not Rita. I have detected a breach in our computers."

The group looked shocked, "A breach?" Billy went over to Alpha, who was freaking out at the console, "What kind of breach."

"It's some sort of virus. Aye-yi-yi! And we don't know how it got there."

"Are you sure it wasn't Rita?" Tommy asked, looking up at Zordon.

"From what we can tell, this virus has been there, lurking, for 10,000 years. Even back then, Rita didn't do well with technology."

"Wait." Trini held up her hand, "Was this after she put you in the time warp?"

"We can't tell." Alpha turned in a circle, "But it was definitely around the same time."

"If I'm reading this correctly," Billy scanned the readout, "this happened at the exact same time. But, it's not a virus."

Kim frowned, "It's not?"

"No. It's," he looked up, "it's a heartbeat."

"Wait, what?" Jason walked over to see what the genius was talking about, "Are you sure?"

"Positive."

"It's not like, Zordon's heartbeat?" Kim asked, as confused as everyone else.

"Technically, Zordon doesn't have a measurable heartbeat." Billy shrugged, "You know, trapped in a time warp and all. No, this is something else." He turned back to the console and hit a few buttons, "Okay, it looks like the protections on the Command Center kept it from showing up sooner. But," he glanced apologetically at Tommy, "when you broke in here and tore everything up…"

"Yeah, sorry about that."

"Hey, man." Zack clapped him on the shoulder, "You were under a spell. It's not something that you could have helped."

"Well, when he did that," Billy continued, "it temporarily brought down the computer's defenses and the heartbeat has been working its way to breaking free since."

"Billy, can you free the heartbeat, safely?"

"I don't know. I can try." Billy shrugged, "I mean, is it safe?"

"Billy's right." Kim nodded, "How do we know that it's not something bad that's trying to come out?"

"If it was bad," Tommy thought, "it would have been destroying the system instead of just trying to get out. Right?"

"That's correct, Tommy. Go ahead, Billy."

"Alright." Billy spent some time hitting buttons, "Here we go." One more sequence and a metal casing on the bottom of the casing flew off. "Whoa."

They watched as electricity started to crackle inside, forming shapes. Slowly, the shapes formed a hand and started to ease out. "Oh my gosh." Everyone stepped back, out of the way, to let the sparking figure crawl free.

"What in the world?" Zack muttered, kinda freaked.

"Alpha. Scan the form with an ionizer metric analyzer."

"Right." Alpha took a device and shot a beam of light out at the mass of energy. After a moment, the electricity faded, leaving the form of a young women, "A girl. Aye-yi-yi."

"Oh, my goodness." Kim put her hands on her mouth, "How in the world did she get in there? And for 10,000 years."

"Not…" they looked down as the girl, with her eyes closed, tried to speak, "not… on… purpose."

"Jason, the chair." Tommy leaned down and picked up the girl and took her over the the reclining chair that Tommy had recovered in after he got his powers back, "Can we do something for her?"

"We should just monitor her. See if she wakes up." Billy moved some equipment over and set it up next to her, "We'll take her heartbeats, pulse and look for any irregularities."

"Rangers. Until she wakes up, there is nothing more that you can do. Please, return to your lives and keep your communicators open."

"You got it Zordon." Jason nodded to the group, "Better head back to the Youth Center. Our sisters are pretty suspicious of us. Don't want to add anymore to their inquisitive minds than necessary."

"Agreed." Tommy laughed, "I swear, Zoey sees more than anyone her age should. After the whole Green Candle incident, she knew exactly what was going on with me without knowing what was going on. Makes sense?"

"Yeah, man. It does."

1-2-3-4-5

"We missed second tryouts." Jason complained as the group walked into the Youth Center after a close fight against Rita's Soccadillo.

"We're just in time to see the results." Zack gestured to the wall that Ernie was hanging the results on.

"Cutting it a little close." Jenna snarked, sitting at the bar with Zoey.

"We're here, we're here."

"Oh, I hope Roger made it." Kim prayed, crossing her fingers.

They cheered and high-fived the kids who made it as they walk past, staring in anticipation as Roger was the last one at the board. He walked turned around, dejected, then smiled real big as he rushed forward.

"I made it, I made it."

As the cheered, Ernie walked up behind him, "The kids did so well, I made up a second team."

"All right, Ernie." Tommy smiled, before being interrupted by throat clearing coming up behind him. He stopped smiling as Bulk shoved him aside.

"Aha!" The bully exclaimed, pointing to Roger, "What did I tell everybody? You see kid? You didn't have to practice after all."

"Yes, I did."

"How do you figure?"

"Yeah," Skull echoed, "how do you figure?"

"If I hadn't practiced, I wouldn't be captain of the team." Roger stated proudly, making the group smile, proud.

"Nah!" Bulk scoffed, "I still say you don't have to practice to be good at something." He grabbed his friend, who had been messing with some green slime stuck to his hands, "Take Skull here, for instance. He's never practiced anything in his life. Hey, kid. Give me your ball."

"Uh-oh." Jenna muttered, shaking her head.

"Yeah, this is not going to end well." Jenna agreed.

"Does it ever with those two."

"No comments from the pipsqueaks." Bulk barked, turning back to Roger, "Come on, kid. I'll show you." He took the ball that Roger threw at him and put it on top of Skull's arms. "Skull, show the kid what you've got."

The spiky-haired teen finally jerked his hand apart and grabbed the ball, "We're waiting, Skull." Bulk complained, standing behind him. Unfortunately, the green slime from Skull's hands transferred to the ball. As he threw it, the slime stuck and made it rebound back, knocking both bullies back. They his the bar and knocked a tray of shakes on top of their heads.

As everyone laughed, Zoey leaned down spoke to the boys, "Hey! Those were our shakes, man."

Jenna chuckled, "Yeah, dudes. You owes us new ones."

A beep sounded, making the girls look over at their brothers, "Let me guess." Zoey rolled her eyes. "You have to be somewhere."

"Um," Tommy covered his wrist, "yeah, sorry. Hey, Ernie!" He called to the bar owner, "They okay to stay here?"

"Are you kidding? They don't cause me problems. You're good."

"Alright." Jason nodded to the others, "Girls, we'll be back."

"We'll be here." Jenna looked back at Bulk, "Pay up."

1-2-3-4-5

The Rangers teleported back to the Command Center, prepared for some news, "Hey, Zordon." Jason stepped forward, "What's going on?"

"Our guest has woken up."

"Hi." They looked over to see her standing by the console. She was almost six feet tall with brown waist length crimped hair and gold eyes. She was wearing black leather pants and knee high boots with some kind of red velvet robe or dress wrapped around her. "Sorry." She chuckled, "Didn't mean to startle you."

"No, that's okay." Kim walked over and help out her hand, "I'm Kim."

The girl looked down curiously at the hand, "So, we're bypassing the forearms altogether now." She nodded and shook the Pink Ranger's hand, "Good to know. Why'd that change?"

"I didn't the know the forearm was a thing." Kim looked back and forth between Billy and Trini, "Anything?"

"In ancient times of war, warriors would clasp arms in greeting to make sure the other person wasn't hiding a weapon."

The girl nodded up at Zordon, "Perfectly said. Um, I've been in your computer for 10,000 years. I've accumulated a lot of information. And right now, I'm struggling to keep it all straight in my head."

"Well, um," Tommy stepped forward, "I'm Tommy. That's Jason," He started gesturing to make the introductions, "that's Billy, Trini and Zack. We're pleased to meet you and hope you're okay, actually."

"I feel okay. Not 100% sure, though." She paused, "I'm Drina."

"Welcome, Drina." Jason nodded, "Let me ask, how did you get into Zordon's computer systems?"

"It's a long story. I will give you the very short and condensed version. Then I'll answer questions later and share some stories. How's that?" Everyone nodded in agreement, ready to here this. "Okay. So, I am not 10,000 years old. I'm actually a lot older than that."

"How old?"

"Time's subjective." She considered, "I can tell you that I've been on this planet since just before the meteors destroyed the dinosaurs." She smiled at the shocked looks on their faces, "Yeah."

"Wait." Billy held up a hand, "You're over 65 million years old."

"Give or take. When I took up my title, my training took place in a different dimension where time worked differently than the norm."

"Interesting."

"Moving on. My planet was, like yours, home to both sapient," she gestured to herself, "and animal. Not all citizens were fully human. Most, but not all. You would consider them mythological creatures, per your own history. Similar to harpies, centaurs, satyrs and any other human/animal cross breed that you can think of."

"Fascinating." Billy smiled in wonder as he looked at his friends, "And the animals? What were they like?"

"Again, the best example would be…" she thought for the information in her head, "maybe, different types fantasy creatures you could think up in books or movies. Very creative."

"Wow."

"Citizens were divided up depending on their birth."

"Huh?" Kim looked confused, "Like rich and poor?"

"Well, upon every birth, a powerful Seer will look at the baby in question and they can determine which powers they will have. These are straight Sentients. Not the Hybrids. They had their own jobs and a different set law keepers. Don't get too confused on that. Everyone was subject to planetary law. But, like your planet, each region and country had their own set of rules, just like Sentients and Hybrids had their own."

"Okay. That's better. I think."

"Every Sentient is born with magic. The Seers can tell what powers will develop in the new born and the baby's entire education life is plotted out for them. How well they do determines which jobs they get." She paused, "Now, I told you that part so you can understand a little more about what the planet actually is."

"What it is?" Trini interrupted, "Isn't a planet a planet?"

"Yes and no." She sighed, "So, my planet was like a magical archive. We were tasked with protecting some of the most powerful things in the world. From mystical text to objects so dangerous, they're locked away for protection. That's where people like me came in."

She walked around for a moment, stretching her arms, "From my birth, I was destined to be a priestess. A spiritual leader in our temples. A healer for every species. Um," she looked up in concentration, "we were the magical leaders for spells and incantations. We performed rites; weddings, funerals, etc. We were basically Holy Men and Women."

"W-wow, man." Zack stuttered, "That is awesome."

"Our planet also had various different warriors. Some priests and priestess were trained as Temple Warriors. Archive Warriors had a different set of powers. Also like," She hesitated, trying to think of a comparison, "electricity or lightning. Everyone had different colors based on their personality. Like your suits." They laughed at that, "Something happened, by accident, that gave me that power. One of the archivist was brought into the temple, very sick. I fought for hours, trying to heal him. We were able to contain the dark spell that he had been hit with, so it wouldn't spread. But, just as he was dying, he grabbed my wrist and shocked me with his power."

They over to see her rubbing a spider web lightning tattoo in purple on her palm, "Whatever happened, transferred all of his remaining power into me. Unfortunately. It changed my life."

"How?"

"I was taken out of my Temple, my home, and immediately put into Archive Warrior Training. Even with all of my other powers, the lightning wasn't allowed inside the temples. So, my whole world changed." She leaned against a console, "I wasn't happy about it, but I did my job." She smiled, "My teacher became my best friend. And more…" She looked away, remembering, "Then the attack came."

"On the Archives?"

"On my planet. A very powerful and dark creature came in search of the most dark and powerful object ever created. One that had been locked up in a vault in our most heavily protected Archive. He couldn't get to the vault, so he started destroying everything in site. We couldn't beat him. Knowing what he was after, my friend and I took the object, kept in a containment box, and fled. Unfortunately, in the midst of the attack, the box was broken and the object exposed. He…" she cleared her throat, "not thinking, he grabbed it without being protected and it… um… did something to him. Knowing that something was wrong, he sent me away to find the creator of the object. To warn them and hope they can help. I got far enough away to watch my love…" she wiped her hands across her face, crying, "he changed. He was warped into this monster. The attacker walked over and picked up the dark object and magically wiped the new creature's memory. Not knowing who he was, he eventually became one of the most wanted outlaws in the Universe."

"I'm so sorry." Kim and Trini were crying in sadness, "That's so sad."

"Well, yeah. I took the warning to heart. I found the creator and was appointed her Keeper's Apprentice. Our job was to protect her other creations from darkness. Keep it out of evil hands. We were chased by a bounty hunter and crash landed on Earth. We were able to protect the objects before the meteors hit. We took shelter and survived. Don't ask me how. We created homes for ourselves in these series of caves and using some special stones, I was able to put myself into a frozen sleep for a thousand years. I would then travel for a few hundred years, looking for our objects, before repeating the process."

"Alright." Jason nodded, "That explains a lot. How did you get here?"

"Oh, our caves aren't that far from here. I was traveling to them to go back to sleep when I walked right into a war. Rita versus Zordon." She shook her head, "I did everything I could to stay out of the fight. Not because I didn't want to help, but I was worried about what would happen if I died and left my teacher alone to finish finding the objects to keep them out of dark hands. Unfortunately, I got caught in the edge of the blast that locked him into his time warp. When the Command Center was built, really don't know how you did that, my being was transferred to the computers." She looked at Tommy, "I think I have you to thank for freeing me."

"Me?" He looked around, "What did I do?"

"Well, it's what Rita made you do."

"Wait. Are you talking about when I was the Evil Green Ranger and broke in here?" He stood there in shock.

"Exactly." She smiled, "You caused some major system problems. I've been working like crazy to free myself ever since. It took some time."

"Um," He scratched his head, "you're welcome?"

She laughed, "It's okay. You weren't yourself. You were under a very powerful spell. Your friends broke it and you're using the power for good. That's what matters."

"Thanks." They stood in silence for a moment, "What will you do?"

"Um, I'm not sure. I know I need to find my teacher. But, I also need to get myself reacquainted with this world. All of that information in my head is going to do me no good if I can't experience it for myself."

"Not to mention your clothes." Kim smiled, "I'm sorry, but 10,000 years ago, that would have been the height of fashion. But here in 1993, people might wonder. And honestly, you might want to keep a low profile."

Drina nodded, "Okay. What do you suggest?"

"Well, to start, how about Kim and I bring you a few things to try on from our own closets. See if anything fits. Then," Trini sent an apologetic look at the guys, "we can take you to the mall."

"Oh, come on." Zack complained as the guys moaned.

"Hey!" Kim pouted.

"How about a compromise." Jason placated, putting a hand on his Pink Ranger's shoulder, "You two go get her some clothes. We'll get some food from Ernie and bring it back here. Once she's more modernly…" he squinted, "I don't know if that's a word. Anyway, once she presentable, you take her to the mall, and we'll go back to the Youth Center. Our sisters are still there. We'll meet up later and come up with a plan on where she's going to stay."

He looked around the Command Center and up at Zordon, "Is that okay?"

"That is the best course of action. Drina, I know of the planet you are from, and I am aware of the dangers that happened there. I am sorry for the loss of your people and hope you will, one day, complete your mission. In the meantime, while here, please accept any help my Rangers and I can offer you. We do have some rooms in the back if you'd like to use them."

"Thank you, Zordon of Eltar. And thank you, Rangers. I promise, if I'm traveling and you need me, I'll come. Always."
