Time For Some Training

To coincide with the fact the author is bad at updating shit and writes so fucking late, it was time for a short story chapter!

On today's misadventure, there was a decent group gathered, due to the time period, and also because characters needed screen time.

For starters, two recurring characters were Tanjiro and Lizzy from Lego's story Demon Tamer. Alongside them from said story was Tanjiro's sister, who was turned into a Demon because of the Hee-Hee demon himself, Nezuko. Due to the AU setting of Demon Tamer, she didn't wear a bamboo muzzle like her canon self and she was also able to walk in the daylight, even though she and Lizzy were Demons.

Another new character from said story was actually a character who shouldn't have appeared until Tanjiro fought a Demon named Kyogai, a former member of the twelve Kizuki to be exact. Said character was actually Inosuke, and much like the AU, he also was different, being a half blooded Demon/Human hybrid, but also able to walk in the sunlight. His Blood Demon Art allowed him to use ice, able to freeze living beings or plants, like trees, into solid ice, inside and out. He can also freeze his own body to heal himself. Inosuke is also immune to the cold.

Another tag-along from a different story who needs screen time, was from A Quirky Quirkless and Android Duo, another one of Lego's story that's featured a bit with Bardock and Mira being from said story. Needless to say, Android 21 felt a bit out of place, since they were in a time period with no notable pieces of technology. Hell, she'd easily say she'd be able to make the most impressive piece of technology since she's a scientist and rather smart to most standards. Working with machines does that to people, especially 21, since she worked with machines and gadgets a lot, despite being the science teacher over at UA High School in that story.

Lego himself was also accompanying them, since he was the one who led them on this excursion in the first place.

"Alright, welcome to the past!" Lego stated with a smile and a hand on his hip. "Now, please refrain from any power usage, since we don't want to start anything."

"What exactly does that mean?" Tanjiro asked as he raised his hand.

"Well, while we are in a mostly unpopulated region, that doesn't mean there aren't people, and they do also have customs and a culture here," Lego told him. "So, please for the sake of power scaling though we all know power leveling characters is bullshit since some story or another is going to debunk it due to headcanons and AU settings and what not, don't use any of your super powers."

Inosuke raised one of his arms, which held a sword. "No, no using your weapons either," Lego added.

"Then why the hell do we still have our swords?!" Inosuke yelled at Lego. And yes, he was still wearing his boar head.

"And our powers?" Lizzy also asked since she did still have the smoke-like wisp coming out of the corners of her mouth.

"I'm uh… having a little bit of problems with mastering that spell/magic at the moment," Lego stated sheepishly.

"Right," they said.

"So, we're out in the field and in the past…" 21 commented. "Won't the Time Patrol have something to say to this?"

"Does it matter?" Lego questioned 21. "I don't really think it does."

"Well, regardless, what's the plan?" Nezuko asked Lego, wondering what they were going to be doing.

"WELCOME TO THE HISUIAN REGION, WHERE POKEMON LEGENDS ARCEUS TAKES PLACE!" Lego announced. "Today, we're going to watch Pokemon and potentially catch some!"

"Wait, isn't this that world I accidentally sent you to and we pulled you out from?" Lizzy asked Lego, recalling the events of last chapter.

"Sort of, but good job remembering that," Lego said to the American Demon. "Moving on from that, we're going to go look at Pokemon!"

Following the author, they began to look for Pokemon. Inosuke looked up randomly and saw a rift in the sky. "Hey, isn't that a problem?" Inosuke asked, drawing everyone's attention to the rift.

Lego looked at it. "Hmm. Well shit."

Suddenly the rift descended before it became a dome of temporal energy into a small area, and the Pokemon in the area of said rift disappeared.

"What in the world just happened?" 21 asked, surprised by the Pokemon disappearing.

"This is a Time-Space Distortion, which will get rid of all the Pokemon in the area of the dome, and instead, replace them with some higher level Pokemon that don't naturally live in this area of the region, also allowing one to catch rarer Pokemon," Lego explained. And then what he said processed in his own mind. "...well double shit."

Several Pokemon then appeared, before a Gengar appeared. "Gengar!" It shouted as it appeared.

"Shit, a Gengar!" Lego said.

"Wow, these Pokemon are really interesting," Tanjiro commented as he saw a Eevee next to a Leafeon, the two seeming to be surprised by being summoned to this area. "Are we sure all of them are dangerous?"

"In this world, every Pokemon is dangerous," Lego said to the Water Breathing Demon Slayer. "Even the Paras Pokemon, and they are just annoying. Them, and Gastlys at night."

"Who?" The Demon Slayer group questioned.

"I give up," Lego stated with a deadpan expression, before he looked back at the Gengar as it prepared to use Shadow Ball. "Ah shit." Lego rolled to the side, dodging the Shadow Ball and the Gengar seemed to focus on Lego. "I guess it's time for a Pokemon Battle!" Lego pulled out a Pokeball, but it didn't look like the Modern Day Pokeballs, but instead looked like a much older version of them. "Go, Aqua!"

Out from the Pokeball in a blue light was a Hisuian Samurott, which stared at the opposing Genger with a glare that reminded Tanjiro of Giyu Tomioka, a Water Breathing Hashira, or a high ranking member of the Demon Slayer Corps, who normally acted just as emotionless as this Samurott did. 'Samurott?' Tanjiro thought as he gazed at the Pokemon. 'It gives off a scent similar to that of an otter, and yet… its scent also is filled with a silent fury and bloodlust… and… sass?'

The Gengar looked at Lego's Samurott, before Lego said, "Alright, let's go! Psycho Cut!"

Upon command, Samurott's black horn-like blade glowed a dark magenta, before it shouted. "RAAAAAAA!" After it's outburst, several blades came out of the air, made up of psychic energy before it lunged at the Gengar with them, before it pelted said Pokemon with the energy blades, which sent the Gengar back and into a tree, before it fell to the ground…

Knocked out.

"Strong style for the win boys!" Lego cheered as they won, while Aqua merely rolled its eyes.

"He took out the strong Pokemon like it was nothing!" Inosuke exclaimed in shock. "Are these things really that powerful?!"

"Yep," Lego said as he returned his Hisuian Starter Pokemon to its Pokeball. "They are." He turned to face them. "Pokemon are just like Demons in a way, and to an extent Quirk-users from the My Hero Academia universes," Lego began. "They have their own conscious and free will, and that in turn means they all make their own decisions. But that doesn't mean they won't listen to their trainers, or the people they battle alongside."

"You say it as if there are more versions of the bond between humans and Pokemon," 21 commented. "I thought people who battle with them are Pokemon Trainers."

"They are, but in this world, Pokemon Trainers aren't a profession yet. People also don't have their Pokemon in Pokeballs. In fact, most of the people native to Hisui lived alongside Pokemon naturally, so they view their Pokemon like brothers and sisters," Lego stated.

"Sounds a lot like the boars I grew up with," Inosuke commented.

"Because it is!" Lego said with a smile. "Moving on, however… we shall now begin the next phase of understanding Pokemon since you've seen them in action!"

"Which is…?" Nezuko began.

"It's time for you all to receive your Pokemon!" Lego said to them as they stood inside of Jubilife Village, at the battle grounds too.

"Wait, did we just do a timeskip?" Lizzy questioned as she looked around.

"Makes sense if he did since he didn't say anything after Nezuko asked a question," Tanjiro commented.

"Alright, the great lord Inosuke is ready to receive his Pokemon!" Inosuke shouted in excitement.

"Alright, let's begin!" Lego said. "Tanjiro, I'm giving you an Oshawott, which will evolve into a Hisuian Samurott much like my own," Lego told the Water Breathing Demon Slayer, as he placed Oshawott in front of Tanjiro. "I want you to take very good care of this little guy. Oshawott's species means a lot to me since they were amongst the very first Pokemon I've ever battled alongside. Ever. So please, raise it well."

"Very well," Tanjiro said as he looked at the Oshawott he was given, and smiled at the cute little otter Pokemon.

"Nezuko, I have given you a Petilil," Lego said to Nezuko as he walked up to her and gave her a Petilil, which looked at Nezuko in a confused manner, with Nezuko just as confused as the Pokemon. "The reason for this is for when you evolve it into Hisuian Lilligant, which is kick based Pokemon, and I think the two of you would have a great compatibility since you two kick a lot. At least, you kick a lot in the anime of Demon Slayer."

"Well, I guess that makes a bit more sense," Nezuko said as she picked up Petilil.

"Inosuke, you have been given the honor to raise a Pokemon not even found in this Region!" Lego stated to Inosuke. "So that is why you are being given a Tepig!" The Unova Fire Starter then walked around Inosuke as sniffed the boar headed man, before Inosuke picked him up.

"Alright, I'm going to name you Borus!" Inosuke said randomly. "And together, we shall be the beasts that this region deserves- no, needs!" The Tepig grunted and seemed fired up at that.

"Lizzy and 21," Lego began as he looked at the two remaining women. "I did try to look for a Pokemon I think might work best for you both, but my quest wasn't exactly the greatest. However, I did get you both a Pokemon that would work for you both." A Milcery floated next to 21, and 21 was surprised by the Pokemon's appearance. Meanwhile, a Munna appeared and floated next to Lizzy, and nuzzled Lizzy's cheek. "Enter Munna and Milcery!"

"Are you sure a Pokemon that's made of sweets is a good partner Pokemon for me?" 21 asked, a bit concerned.

"It'll be fine as soon as you evolve it," Lego began. "Which reminds me!" Lego looked at them all. "Each of your Pokemon evolves in a different way, something you'll need to be mindful of in the future. Evolving your Pokemon can have an impact on the moves and stats they have. Each Pokemon evolves differently. For instance, Oshawott and Tepig are both Pokemon who evolve via level up, or being in many battles for a long time. Also, Munna evolves via a Moon Stone." Lego nodded a few times. "Pokemon evolve in mayne different ways. Keeping track of these things is important for the Pokemon you want to raise, as it can affect how you handle them."

"Wait, how can I get a Moon Stone for my Munna?" Lizzy asked.

"You could buy it from a shop, or hope to find one out in the wild," Lego said. "It's possible that an alpha Clefable drops it, but who knows? I sure don't, that's for sure!"

"And Milcery evolves… how?" 21 asked.

"You need to spin around while it's holding a sweet!" Lego said. "There are seven different sweets that'll work for it," Lego said. "The Strawberry, Blueberry, Love, Star, Clover, Flower, and Ribbon sweets, which are the colors of the rainbow, with the Love Sweet being a Pink Heart!"

"Does Petilil need an item?" Nezuko asked.

"I believe that a Sun Stone might be the way to go," Lego said. Thinking about it, Lego said, "Huh… all the girls need an item to evolve their Pokemon… wow, that's a coincidence."

"Well, what now?" Tanjiro asked.

"We continue this misadventure in another chapter!" Lego said with a smile.

"WAIT WHAT?!" The five newly made Pokemon trainers exclaimed.

Yeah, I decided why not. Took a page from Tale's (Talespinner69) book, but also not really. This is a much more hands on approach to this.

For the people wondering about my Samurott, Aqua, he has a Sassy Nature.

Anywho, stay tuned for more!
