chapter 3: Many colors- part 1
While Nightwing and Starfire were having a family reunion, Beast boy, Wonder girl and Superboy were making their way through the floors. They were all empty so far. Beast boy had turned into a bat to get a better hearing and managed to hear a noise coming from the twelfth floor. The three heroes arrived in front of the door the noises were coming from.
"Ready, boys?" Wonder girl asked as she got her sword out.
"Ready!" Superboy cracked his knuckles.
"Ready!" Beast boy turned into a gorilla.
Wonder girl then kicked the door open and the heroes entered, expecting to find H.I.V.E, but instead found someone else going through the lab gear.
There stood a man tall about 6.3 feet (roughly 190 cm) with well-built physic. He was wearing a top hat, an old-looking dark green jacket that had many stitches. Under the jacket was a white shirt. The man had black jeans and black cowboy boots. What was unusual about the man was his mask of a plague doctor. The beak of the mask was relatively short and had some yellow metal that was going trough its edge. Behind the glass of the eye holes, the man's eyes were glowing in green and were like the ones of a snake. Another odd thing about the mysterious entity was that his hands were all wrapped up in white bandages. He also wore some weird necklace that looked like a sun with an eye.
"Oh my God!" Beast boy gasped upon seeing the man "It's SCP-049!"
"Ex-Excuse me?" the man was clearly confused.
"Yes, excuse us?" Wonder girl said also confused.
"SCP-049, you know!" Beast boy answered "The plague doctor!"
"Oh, I see where the misunderstanding is coming from!" the man said with a sophisticated tone, even though his voice was a little muffled by the mask "I do look like a plague doctor, but I assure you, young fellow, I am not... whatever SCP is!"
"That's what you would want us to think!" Beast boy responded angrily.
"Who are you and what are you doing here?" Superboy asked.
"Oh, where are my manners!? My name is Plague!" "Plague" introduced himself "One of the greatest (if not the greatest) doctors in the world!"
"Never heard of you." Wonder girl responded.
"Yes, that is to be expected. I am not that famous! As for why am I here- this I can not tell!"
"And why is that?" Superboy asked.
"Because I am sure you would find my activities... rather illegal!"
"That depends! Are the stuff in the bag yours" the amazonian pointed at the sack the man was carrying.
"Well, no, but why do you care?"
"H.I.V.E five is in the building," Wonder girl explained "And we are suspecting that you are one of them!"
"I am sorry to disappoint you, darling, but I work alone, except when I am with my brothers, but that's another story."
"Okey, bird face, that's enough!" Beast boy interrupted him "Hand us the sack and surrender yourself to the cops. I have a pretty shitty night and I don't want to deal with you!"
The green "gorilla" started going towards Plague, when he took a flintlock pistol out of his jacket.
"I am sorry, my green friend, but I am not going without the sack! Now step aside, or I will be forced to put a bullet in your head!"
"You do know that if you kill him, Wonder girl and I will beat you to unconsciousness, right?!" Superboy took a fighting position.
"I do, but the fact that I have killed your friend will comfort me."
"This is ridiculous!" Wonder girl sighed "Instead of dealing with H.I.V.E we are stuck here with Doctor Unknown! I say let's kick his ass and find H.I.V.E!"
"No need to look for us, blondie!" said a male voice "Or should I say "look for ME"!"
The titans turned to see a man dressed in a black and orange costume with many weapons and amo on it. He wore a mask that was also black and orange and had only one eye hole. The young heroes immediately recognized him. He was one of their oldest enemies. He was...
"Deathstroke!" Wonder girl said venomously.
"Good evening to you too, titans." Deathstroke (A.K.A Slade Willson) smiled under the mask while holding two guns in his hands, one was pointing at Beast boy and the other- pointing at Plague.
"So you and H.I.V.E are working together, huh?" Superboy asked.
"Oh no, I just used holograms of them to make everyone think that H.I.V.E was in the building, instead of me!" the assassin replied "Now how about you four stay here while- wait four? Where are-"
Slade couldn't finish that sentence because he was interested by Plague, who was now pointing a crossbow tied to his upper hand at Deathstroke, while still pointing his flintlock pistol at Beast boy.
"I don't know who you are, but you are going to stay with the kids while I go on my merry way!" Plague said while positioning himself in one of the room's corners.
"This is getting intense!" Beast boy exclaimed while he and his team also positioned themselves in a corner.
And the situation was intense. Plague was pointing his crossbow at Deathstroke, Deathstroke was pointing his two guns at Plague and the Titans, while Plague was also pointing at the Titans with a gun.
"How about this, my friend," Deathstroke turned to Plague "I will kill those kids and you and I will go on our separate ways?"
"Good idea, but I think the muscular one and the blonde one are a little hard to kill." Plague responded.
"I will think of something." Slade then noticed the sack "What's in there?"
"Non of your business!"
"Well, now it's my business!"
"Why don't you two sort this out while we-" Superboy started but was interrupted by the two men's "SHUT UP!"
"Listen, buddy" Slade turned back to Plague "There is a alien princess and one of Batman's puppies somewhere around here and they will probably arrive soon! Show me what you got so I can go before they arrive!"
"I am not showing you anything, One eye!" Plague responded "So forget about-"
BOOM
At that moment Starfire and Blackfire entered through a wall and right in the middle of the shit show. The two were wrestling with each other. Soon after Nightwing and Red hood (who were also in a middle of a fight) entered!
"TRAITOROUS BITCH!" Starfire yelled at her sister.
"GOODY TWO-SHOES PRINCESS!" Blackfire yelled back.
"ASS-KISSER!" Red hood tried to kick Nightwing.
"NOT AN ASS-KISSER!" Nightwing dauged the kick.
"Really? That's the best you could come up with?"
"I am not good a comebacks!"
At that moment the four noticed that they were in the middle of a future fight.
"Okey, who invited Slade?" Nightwing asked.
(Ten minutes earlier...)
Nightwing and Starfire weren't taking their eyes off of Red hood and Blackfire. The "black sheep" were doing the same.
"What are you doing here, Jason?" Dick asked coldly.
"Looking for a criminal, just like you!" Jason answered.
"I doubt you are looking for criminals!" Starfire said to her sister.
"You are not wrong, sister dear." Blackfire responded "I was just hoping that daddy issues over here would be fun, but he's just as boring as you, Night bird. Miss me?"
"Why would I miss a venomous snake!?"
"Oh Nightwing, why are you so mean!" Blackfire said with a fake sadness "You are hurting my feelings!"
"I AM GOING TO HURT SOMETHING MORE THAN YOUR FEELINGS!" Starfire yelled as she launched herself at her sister.
Blackfire didn't see it coming and so Starfire pushed both of them through the wall and out of the building. Once outside the sisters engaged in a eye-lazer fight. At one point their lazers crushed into one another, resulting into an expansion that sent the sisters into different direction. Starfire was thrown back into the building, while Blackfire crushed into the rooftop of a neighboring building.
While this was going on Nightwing and Red hood had a fight on their own.
"You know Dick, I am really not in the mood for this." Jason looked at his former "brother" "So why don't we just sit back, get some beer and enjoy the show those two are putting up?"
"Sorry Jason, but I am in the mood for this!" Nightwing said as he crossed his batons.
"Of course you are!" the Red hood replied as he started shooting at Nightwing. The original Robin managed to dodge all of the shots and after getting clos enough he kicked the gun out of Jason's left hand.
That, of course, didn't stop the anti-hero as he used the closeness to shoot Nightwing in the leg. Dick barely avoided it as it still grazed his right calf. The pain didn't stop the heroe from hitting Nightwing in the face with a baton, sending him against the wall next to the elevator.
"Right now I am very thankful that I am wearing a helmet!" Jason mumbled to himself as he noticed that Duck was going for another assault.
Jason managed to avoid the attack, but accidentally pushed the button to the elevator's door which caused it to open. Since another kick was coming towards the Red hood, he used the opportunity and swiftly got in the elevator. Dick followed him inside, but Jason greeted him with a kick in the gut. Nightwing accidentally pressed one of the buttons in the elevator which caused the door to close and for the cabin to start moving upward.
''WAIT!'' Jason yelled , seeing that his ''brother'' was getting ready to attack again ''We are in an elevator! If we keep fighting we may break it or get stuck in here!''
Nightwing, while not very trusting towards the Red hood, saw that there were truth in his words ''OK, we will wait 'till it stops.
After that the two remained at their positions, waiting for the elevator to stop.
''So...'' Dick said awkwardly ''what are you up to these days?''
''Well, I just killed couple of gang members.'' Jason answered, just as awkwardly ''You?''
''Well, Tim is back in Gotham for a while so I came back to be with the Titans in his abcens.''
''Good, good!...Speaking of Gotham how are the others doing...I mean Cassandra, Damian and the others.''
''They are fine. Cass is getting better and better at writing and from what I've heard Damian is doing fine at school. I heard he is now friends with some girl with pink hair.''
''Good for him.''
Meanwhile Starfire and Blackfire were back in the sky, wrestling while still flying closer and closer to the lab.
"Oh, come on, are you still mad that I pretend to be you and slept with Dick?" Blackfire asked "Sis, move on."
"EVERYTHING YOU'VE DONE IS REASON ENOUGH FOR ME TO KICK YOUR ASS!" Blackfire yelled.
Just then, the sister crushed back into the building on the twelfth floor. That didn't stop them from fihgting. In fact they started using objects that were nearby like chairs and computers as weapons. At that moment the doors of the elevator opened and Nightwing and Red hood came out.
''It was nice talking to you, Dick.'' Jason said.
''Same, Jason!'' Dick responded.
''We are still going to kick each other's asses, right?''
''Yup!'' Dick responded.
The two went back to their fight. Jason changed his guns with knuckles and managed to get a few good hits on Dick, not that Dick didn't have a few scores. Suddenly Starfire and Blackfire bursted true one of the walls and into the next one, still wrestling with each other. This didn't remain unseen by the two sons of Batman.
''After them?'' Nlghtwing suggested.
''After them!'' Red hood agreed.
The sisters made a few more wholes in the walls untill they reached one of the labs in which they stopped. But they were still on each other's throats.
"TRAITOROUS BITCH!" Starfire yelled at her sister.
"GOODY TWO-SHOES PRINCESS!" Blackfire yelled back.
At that moment Dick and Jason also apperaed, still fighting.
"ASS-KISSER!" Red hood tried to kick Nightwing.
"NOT AN ASS-KISSER!" Nightwing dauged the kick.
"Really? That's the best you could come up with?"
"I am not good a comebacks!"
The four then noticed that they were in the middle of a to-be a fight between the rest of the Titans, Slade and some other man they didn't recognize .
"Okey, who invited Slade?" Nightwing asked.
