AN: Hello everyone,
Sorry, it took me a while to update, I've had to deal with my January class and I've also been in my first week of the spring semester. I'll try to update whenever I can but no promises on when new updates will be revealed in case something pops up.
Also, a rewrite of Mortal Kombat RWBY: Grimm Threat has been released so feel free to check that out. Remember that it's taking place earlier in the RWBY timeline to allow for a better connection between the two groups. My other RWBY stories are also still getting worked so again look out for those when they eventually get released.
I'm starting to think I've bitten off more than I can chew with me trying to write multiple stories at the same time so I've released a poll asking whether I should get one story finished first before shifting my focus to the others or if it's alright if I update any story I want. This poll will be closed on Feb.6th at midnight this week.
Disclaimer: I do not claim ownership of either property. Star Wars is owned by Disney and RWBY by Roosterteeth.
Warning: This story will be rated M due to mentions of underage drinking, prostitution, slavery, drugs, crime syndicates, graphic violence, and such. Reader discretion is advised.

STAR WARS: RWBY CHRONICLES
CHAPTER V: Cantonica
Journey to Remnant!
With the coordinates stolen from the Zygerrians and information collected by his conversations with the children, Jaune and his crew begin their voyage to the strange planet Remnant, the mysterious homeworld the children come from.
As he asked his questions however many he started to discover how their planet operated and how come space travel was never invented as well as learning about a group of individuals known as Huntsmen who had strange abilities he never heard of.
To make matters complicated even further, Jaune's visions appear to slowly become a reality after hearing one of the phrases he heard in his dream. Currently, Jaune is making his way towards Cantonica to stock up on supplies for the journey ahead...
Jaune took his seat in the cockpit as it became crowded by the children wanting to see what the next planet, they were stopping at looked like.
With a flick of the lever, the Shining Arch burst out of hyperspace as a desert orange planet filled their view as they passed the two celestial bodies that were classified as the planet's moons.
The children gasped in awe as they saw the planet and while it certainly wasn't the prettiest planet in the known galaxy, he could see why they would be in awe of it.
This was the first planet they were actually able to see outside of their homeworld.
As the ship inched closer and closer to the planet Jaune opened a comlink between him and the ground control tower below.
"Ground control, this is Shining Arch requesting permission to land on the nearest landing pad." he spoke through the com channel.
"Shining Arch you are to land on platform 4-D and pay a landing fee of five hundred credits." another voice spoke out from the channel as Jaune mentally cursed them for charging him a landing fee.
"Copy that tower." he grumbled back as he directed his ship toward the platform and began the landing sequence.
Upon landing, Jaune got up from his chair as both he and the children shuffled out of the cockpit and back into the hallway.
"Alright kids stay in the lounge until I get what I need, then you guys will be back with your families as soon as possible." Jaune said as he directed them toward the lounge.
"Can we come with you?"
Jaune stopped for a moment as he processed what was asked and looked down at Iris who in turn was looking up at him with a curious yet pleading look in her ocean blue eyes with the other kids looking at him the same way, each wanting to see the new planet they had just landed on for themselves.
He immediately went to answer them no until he made contact with Iris's ocean blue eyes. They were filled with hope and curiosity at the idea of exploring a world that wasn't the one she came from.
Soon the others held similar looks in their eyes pleading with him to let them come with him.
Jaune now felt torn.
He wanted to keep them safe on board his ship while he got the supplies he needed to make the long journey and take off as soon as possible, but on the other hand the kids had never visited a new planet due to there being no space-faring technology developed by their planet yet and this was a once in a lifetime opportunity for them to explore a new world.
Not to mention any travel they had was traumatic to them due to their… "untimely adventure" so if he could make them so they know the good things about space travel and show them the wonders of the universe.
Despite this he still felt unsure of what to do.
"Are you sure you want to come with me?" he asked with a hesitant tone in his voice.
All of them nodded as they jumped up and down excitedly hoping and pleading for him to let them join him in his shopping.
Jaune let out a sigh before giving them his answer.
"Fine you guys can come with me on this little adventure, guess I could get you new clothes while I'm out." he said as the kids cheered, "But there will be some rules." he stated as the children waited to hear what he was going to say.
"Rule one always stay by me and Oum and don't wander out of our sight. You can easily get lost in a place like this. Rule two, don't touch anything. You could end up breaking something expensive or cause damage, especially since you all haven't been to space before. Rule three, don't stare at other people, it's very rude and can get us in trouble. Do you guys understand these rules?"
"Yep!"
"Yes sir!"
"I understand!"
"Yes, captain!"
"All right!"
Once the children were finished agreeing to his rules, Jaune grabbed a satchel and took out a small portion of his credits from his room safe to buy the kids new clothes as well as buy the supplies he needed to make the long journey to their home easier to manage.
Even now he still wondered if the planet they described as their home planet was the same one he was seeing in his visions and if it was what it meant for him.
"Wonder what their planet is like. And how in the name of the Force was the planet not discovered earlier in galactic history? A planet like that would have been a great ally to the Republic and by the sounds of it the Order also." Jaune thought to himself, recalling their previous discussion as he looked at how giddy with excitement the kids were to see the first planet outside of their own.
Their planet had access to crystals that they used to power their technology but lost power when trying to go past the atmosphere. There was a species of near-humans called Faunus that had some animal traits that lived with the humans on the planet. Most interestingly there apparently were people capable of doing incredible things without the Force. Or maybe they did have the Force and didn't know it, he wasn't sure yet, but soon he would and he'd try to get to the bottom of it during his stay.
"Maybe I should stick around on the planet." he mused as the boarding ramp opened and extended onto the platform.
"Arf you're in charge of the ship." Jaune said as the blue and yellow R4 unit saluted with one of his utility arms.
"And Sila you're in charge of Arf in case he does something." he added on hearing an affronted beep come from the droid while Sila gave a light-hearted chuckle from her area.
Arf let out a small tirade of unhappy beeps and trills at the idea that he couldn't watch over the ship properly.
"The last time I left you with the ship by yourself you thought some trader was trying to break in when he was just dropping off our cargo and shot him with your taser." Jaune reminded the droid who let out a low embarrassed trill before accepting it and rolling away.
The door opened and the boarding ramp descended.
"Remember guys stay close." he repeated as the seven of them disembarked from the ship.
After Jaune paid for his ship to be refueled, and paid the landing fee at a nearby station, he and the group went into the city hoping to find the things he needed and to make sure the children had a great experience on their first planet.

(Oppressor-Zygerrian space)
It had been a few hours since the smuggling ship escaped yet Admiral Grakkus was still choking with fury over the incompetence of his underlings.
His squadrons of well-trained Tie fighter pilots failed to intercept the craft and were also taken out easily.
The men he had put in charge of the Oppressor's turrets and tractor beam were too slow to react to the ship's evasive maneuvers and probably cripple it, so the crew could be brought to imperial justice.
His one chance at getting glory and recognition from his emperor stripped away from him by his own crew's laziness and inability to stop a single ship.
This Jedi traitor had made an absolute fool of both him and the Empire itself merely by surviving and then escaping his grasp.
They all received the reports that troopers that intervened had made about their confrontation.
Captain Scarr and his men were going through the city during one of their routine patrols when they heard blaster fire coming from the landing platforms closeby between a smuggler and droid having a shootout with a group of Zygerrians.
Upon attempting to stop the situation from getting worse the troops opened fire on the smuggler who ducked behind a crate of Spice. Upon popping up from behind it he stretched out his hand the squad went flying back allowing him to get back in his ship and escape.
From what they were able to gather from the scene the suspect was a young man with scraggly blonde hair and blue eyes with the altercation having happened due to him discovering that he would be smuggling young slaves to a client of his on Nar Shaddaa.
Many of his crew still speculated whether it was indeed a Jedi that escaped them believing the smuggler to be some Corellian smuggler that had some weapon that allowed him to escape the troopers and then got lucky evading their assault rather than it being some ancient warrior of legend capable of using some cosmic phenomenon, but Grakkus was no fool. He had read about the history of the Jedi and what they were capable of. If allowed to live they could pose a threat to the empire and the galaxy as a whole.
Regardless Grakkus wanted that boy put in binders as soon as possible before someone else in the Imperial Navy found and caught him first.
Yes, all he needed to do was capture the Jedi and he would undoubtedly be promoted to Grand Admir-.
"Sir I've just sent a message to Coruscant informing them of our situation with a possible Jedi." Officer Ratcliffe reported shaking the admiral from his thoughts as the bridge of the ship went quiet.
"Y-You...did...what?" Grakkus asked in a whisper, his voice dripping with rage.
Ratcliffe also seemed to sense the hostility in his voice as sweat began to form on his brow with his uniform collar suddenly feeling tight around his neck, as if his peer was strangling him with his mind.
"I-I was following protoc-"
"You idiot!" Grakkus boomed, cutting Ratcliffe off and making him flinch, "We could have dealt with this Jedi by ourselves and get rewarded and you just ruined it!"
"I was following imperial protocol regarding the situation." Ratcliffe responded in a low voice.
"Forget protocol! You listen to my commands! Have any idea what this will do to our reputation!" he seethed, with his face getting redder and redder with each passing second.
"Get out of my sight!" Grakkus ordered as Ratcliffe immediately turned and left the bridge before his superior could scold him even more for following protocol rather than his commands.
"Blasted fool." Grakkus said once he was gone.
Now with there being a report sent to the emperor himself, Grakkus now had competition coming his way and he now had to prepare for competition to arrive to assist in this matter.
He just hoped it wasn't that black bounty hunter droid the emperor is fond of that would be assisting them in this matter.

(Canto Bight-Cantonica)
Jaune had to admit the city was quite beautiful despite being a desert world.
Everywhere he went he saw extravagant casinos, expensive shops, luxurious hotels, and fancy restaurants with beings of various species bustling around the streets each one wearing pricey jewelry and clothing, flaunting their wealth and status to others.
Jaune wore faded clothing indicating that he couldn't afford costly clothing, had an old OOM pilot droid, and had five kids traveling with him wearing old worn-out rags that barely passed off as clothes.
Needless to say, they stuck out like a bald patch on a Wookie.
"Why are they staring at us?" Iris asked trying her best not to stare at those who were staring at them.
"It's because of how you're dressed. We need to find better clothes right now. They're probably thinking you're my slaves." he answered with an annoyed look at the onlookers as well looking for a clothing store that wasn't way out of his price range.
After another minute or two of walking through the alien crowds with the kids gawking out the signs and stores, he spotted a store that appeared to be more accommodating to his wallet called Madame Fonce's Fabrics with the sign outside saying it offered great clothing at a great price for all beings of all ages.
"Alright, guys let's try this place out." Jaune said, ushering them toward the store entering the boutique.
Upon entering the store he was greeted by a green-skinned Twi'lek woman wearing the store's uniform with a smile on her face.
"Good evening sir." She greeted in Galactic Basic, "My name is Verte. How may I be of service?"
"I'm looking for some cheap clothes for a group of children around the ages of eight and ten. One of them was born with a tail so she'll need some pants that won't make her uncomfortable." Jaune replied, gesturing to the kids who looked at Verte with awe.
"Come with me please." She responded with a light smile on her face.
Following her lead, they come to a section of the boutique dedicated to young children with various shirts, pants, and such.
"Here we are, sir. This department is filled with clothes for children and should suit your needs." Verte said as Jaune began to look through the clothes for something cheap yet suitable for the kids.
"Thank you, alright kids, let's find some nice clothes for you to wear." Jaune said as they immediately went to find the clothes they wanted.
After an hour of picking up clothes and trying them on, Jaune managed to find some clothes that the kids liked and felt comfortable in as well as worked well with his price range with the total coming out to six hundred and fifty credits. Expensive yes, but it's the best price he could afford for all the clothes while also making sure he had enough left for when he went to buy food and medical supplies.
Once out of the store the kids no longer wore the dirty old clothes and rags that the Zygerrians captured them in. Iris wore a bright yellow blouse with dark purple trimming around the cuffs with white pants and yellow shoes along with the jacket he gave her when they were on the ship. Selene wore a pearl white shirt with black designs as well as black pants that allowed her tail movement and shoes. Ebon wore a dark shirt with a picture of a moon on it with dark blue pants and shoes. Jeremiah wore a light brown shirt that was designed to look like Wookie fur and his own pair of black pants and white shoes. And Oliver had a dark green shirt with a pair of brown pants on and a pair of white shoes. Overall they loved their new clothes from outer space. Even Jaune got himself a new white leather smugglers hooded jacket with yellow accents around the edges of the jacket and the top of his sleeves that he liked.
They left the store in high spirits as they continued down the road until they passed by a shop filled with various gadgets and gizmos that visitors took as souvenirs that drew the children in with awe-struck smiles on them.
"You guys wanna go in?" Jaune asked with a smile, as they nodded their heads.
"Alright let's go see what they have. Sorry Oum but you're gonna have to stay outside. This place doesn't allow droids" Jaune said in a sad tone pointing at the no droids policy the store had.
"It's alright sir, I understand. You can go ahead." the droid replied understanding the situation.
Jaune nodded before he opened the door and they went in to explore the store for mementos of this trip to space.
"Maybe I should stop by a workshop and get some spare parts for the ship and my lightsaber." Jaune thought as he saw the kids rush toward the toy aisle of the store and begin looking for souvenirs while Jaune searched for a camera with film so he could take pictures for the kids to bring home as well.
As they searched he found a rancor doll with it's mouth wide open with an angry face stitched onto it. To a child or regular civilian, this would be seen as cute, but to him, he only remembered the pain the beast caused him on Felucia with the scars on his back tingling slightly as he glared at the beast.
Upon finding what he needed the children approached him each holding an item that they wanted to get, though brought up bad memories in him.
Ebon had picked up a toy of an ARC-170 starfighter making him remember the times when he flew into battle alongside fighters shooting down droids of all models that threatened the peace.
Both Jeremiah and Oliver had two sets of Clone Wars-themed small figurines of both clones and droids in various poses along with their corresponding ships and vehicles making him recall his ground battles against the droid forces of the Separatist Alliance.
Selena had gotten a purple and red striped Tooka cat doll that reminded him of the Zygerrian slavers who tore him away from his home with the trauma causing him to misremember his family while Iris had picked up a stuffed doll of a blue Twi'lek that revived his memories of his deceased master.
"Are you okay?" Iris asked, noticing the sadness in his eyes as he gazed upon the toys they wished to have, "You don't seem happy."
Jaune gave them a light smile as he pushed the memories away.
"I'm alright just remembered something that's all." he replied hoping to ease her concerns, "Let's head up to the register. I'll even get you guys some star maps." he added on picking up some holomaps that displayed the many planets, moons, stars, suns, and other space anomalies as he directed them to the register with the total ringing out to nearly two hundred fifty credits in all.
After exiting the store with two bags filled with the merchandise Jaune found Oum being examined by a large male human stranger. By the way Oum was moving and stuttering he was feeling uncomfortable around him.
"Excuse me." The stranger said, "but would you happen to be the owner of this droid?"
"Yeah...I am." He replied cautiously as he looked at the man.
"Ah excellent. I was passing by when I noticed your droid outside the store. An OOM pilot battle droid correct?" the man asked with a suave smile
"Yes…" Jaune confirmed having an idea on where this conversation was headed.
"Well, I just so happen to be a collector of antiques and relics from the Clone Wars and when I saw how well-kept your droid is and was curious if you would consider allowing me to purchase it."
"You want to buy...my droid?" Jaune repeated incredulity as the man nodded to confirm his statement.
"Indeed, I am, and I am willing to pay a hefty amount of three thousand credits for it." the collector offered taking out some of his own credits to show that he was serious.
Jaune was stupefied. This was the first time someone ever tried to buy one of his droids off of him without resorting to threats of violence and having a blaster pointed at his face. He knew the droids that traveled with him were valuable to collectors and such, but to Jaune, they were all he had left, and he would never abandon them.
"I'm sorry sir, but my droid is not for sale." Jaune politely said trying to end the conversation so he could continue finding what he needed.
The collector looked at him in shock, before putting on a friendly smile.
"Surely there is something we can agree upon that leaves us both happy. I happen to know a club off planet that specializes in near-human dancers. Twi'leks, Zeltrons, humans, Togrutans, you name it, they have it." the collector bargained with a licentious look, "plus the three thousand credits. I'll even take you there myself. Surely a few nights with some lovely ladies and a large amount of currency is worth more than a droid."
Jaune looked back at the collector with a serious look in his eyes.
"What's your name?"
"Flaxen Ickver. A collector of antiquities and trinkets from the Clone Wars." the man introduced.
"Well, then Mr. Ickver I refuse your offer. Now would you kindly leave me and my droid alone. He's been with me for a long time and I'm not just gonna sell him for some women, booze, and credits." Jaune maintained in a dead-serious tone, "Come on guys let's go." Jaune said as he, Oum, and the kids began to turn around and walk away.
"I-I urge you to reconsider, good sir! I'll even pay you four thousand credits." Flaxen shouted after him with his face flushed red from irritation at being rejected.
"You can take your offer and shove it, you bloated Bantha!" Jaune insulted as he and his group continued to walk away leaving Flaxen seething with anger.
"T-Thank you, sir." Oum said gratefully as the man was no longer in sight.
"Don't mention it Oum, I'd never let anyone take you or the others without a fight." Jaune assured.
They continued walking for another ten minutes until Jaune saw a mechanic shop enter his line of sight.
"Do you guys mind if we stop by that shop? I've been looking for some pieces to fix something." Jaune said to the kids who nodded.
Unlike the last store, droids were allowed in the mechanic shop usually to make modifications, and repairs so all seven were able to enter without any disagreements between them and the staff.
"Good evening." An Ugnaught said approaching them, "Welcome to Korrik's workshop. I'm Torrven. How may I be of service to you?" the diminutive, pink-skinned pig-like being asked with a smile.
"I'm looking for some sort of power dampener. Do you have any good ones in stock?"
Torrven's eyes lit up
"Of course good sir. Please follow me."
With that Jaune and the others followed him through the aisles.
Jaune felt a tug on his sleeve, upon looking down saw Iris.
"What is he?" she asked innocently.
"He's an Ugnaught. They're a race of hard workers." Jaune answered
"Indeed, we are." Torrven added with a smile on his face shocking the blonde girl with the fact that he had heard her.
"I take it I'm the first Ugnaught you have seen?" he asked Iris.
"Y-Yes. Sorry for being rude." Iris apologized with the others following suit. Instead of feeling offended Torrven merely laughed.
"There is no need to apologize, young one. We all are like that until we learn." he told the girl who accepted it and nodded.
"Ahhh here we are." Torrven said, gesturing to a series of metallic devices that were put on display.
"Thanks." Are there any you would recommend? I'm working on a small device that gives off a lot of power." Jaune inquired as he picked up various dampeners and examined them.
"Might I suggest the K-15 power dampener by Kuat Engineering. It's made of elements that allow it to absorb massive amounts of heat and energy and even has a small vent that directs excess heat outward from overheating the internal systems of whatever device it is attached to." Torrven explained.
"Hmmm...I'll take two and would you happen to have some droid armor?" Jaune asked.
"Of course, though I will need to go to the back to retrieve some. How much do you need?"
"Enough to cover my droid's chest and joints."
"Very well sir I will get you what you need." Torrven said, heading through an employee's only door.
Jaune and the others waited at the register and after a few minutes of waiting, he returned carrying the armor Jaune wanted.
"Apologies sir, the armor was way in the back." Torrven said putting it on the counter alongside the two dampeners.
"It's no problem." Jaune smiled as he shifted through his bag to get the correct amount ready.
"Let's see your total comes out too-" He was cut off by a series of celebratory chirps and whistles blaring from the computer register catching them all off guard.
"Ahahahaha congratulations sir you're our one-millionth customer. Your purchase is free rather than being six hundred and eight credits as it was supposed to be." Torrven cheered as Jaune's smile began to widen at his luck.
"Thank the Force." he thought as he and Oum lifted the bags.
"Hope you came back soon." Torrven shouted waving goodbye to them as they left with their heads in the clouds.
The kids got new clothes and souvenirs.
Oum got new armor.
And he got materials he was going to use to fix his lightsaber.
Nothing was gonna upset him now.
"Yes, officers that man over there with the children." he heard a voice yell.
Upon turning around Jaune saw two male human officers approaching him with a smug-looking Flaxen Ickvar close behind.
"Oh, come on!" Jaune yelled internally at seeing them.
"Is there a problem officer?" he asked with an annoyed look present on his face.
"You are under arrest for stealing this man's droid." the first officer proclaimed taking out a pair of binders.
"This droid is mine. This guy has been harassing me for him about half an hour ago."
"Do you have proof that you're this droid's owner?" the second officer questioned with a speculative look.
"No. I salvaged him a long time ago and repaired him." Jaune admitted truthfully.
"Officers it's true my friend found me and fixed me and when we arrived here that man-"
"He must've had my droid's memory wiped!" Flaxen lied while pretending to have a look of shocking realization.
'Do you have proof you own him?" Jaune asked back, getting more and more annoyed with each passing second, but the collector just smirked as Jaune realized what was going on.
"So how much is this kriffing son of a Hutt paying you two?" Jaune scowled at the two crooked cops.
"We'll be the ones asking questions. You need to come with us." the first cop said grabbing his hand.
"Let him go!" Iris yelled, running up and kicking the officer in between his legs and causing him to let go and kneel in pain.
"You little piece of bantha shit!" The officer yelled clutching his nether regions, "You'll pay for that!"
"Leave us alone we just wanna leave!" Ebon shouted, kicking the other cop in his shin.
"Argh! You son of a bitch! When we're through with you you're gonna be spending the rest of your lives in the slave stables!"
With that statement, the children flinched back in terror.
Jaune could feel their fear spike up with the sentence alone.
Their hearts began to race…
Their bodies started to shiver…
And all they could think about was how they were taken away from their families…
The second cop reached out to grab Ebon with an electric baton raised, only for Jaune to reach out and grasp his arm and twist it to the side before spinning himself underneath the crooked cop's arm and elbowing him in the gut. The force from the strike sent the man backward and into Flaxen as both rolled around in pain from the assault.
The remaining officer took out his blaster but Jaune, sensing the coming attack with the Force, quickly turned back and quickly knocked the gun out of his hand before delivering a kick to the man's chest sending him backward as well.
"Officer down! I repeat, officer down! Requesting backup at Favreau street! The suspect is armed!" the second cop shouted into his communicator.
"Run back to the ship!" Jaune yelled to the kids and Oum who immediately began running as fast as they could knocking civilians out of the way before more officers could arrive.
"Arf get the ship ready for takeoff! We're leaving now!" Jaune shouted into his own communicator as a few shocked beeps responded, "I'll tell you when we get there just have the ramp down and the engines hot!"
An affirmative trill rang out before ending.
They continued running until the ship was in sight with the fuel pumps disconnected to show that it was full.
"Come on we're almost there!" Jaune yelled as he stood at the bottom of the ramp making sure everyone was on board.
He heard a small yelp and noticed that Iris had tripped with officers coming closer with batons and blasters out.
Jaune hurried toward her, setting his blasters to stun and fired blue rings out of his weapons that upon making contact with their targets shocked them and sent them sprawling to the ground.
With their pursuers stunned Jaune holstered his blaster, grabbed Iris, and hurried back to the ship with the boarding ramp closing the moment he was in the ship.
"That was a close." he huffed out before making his way to his seat in the cockpit and began lifting his ship off the ground and into the air.
"Could've been worse." Oum pointed out. Seconds later the radar began beeping as two security ships began to chase them through the sky.
Jaune gave Oum a "You just had to say it!" look before focusing back on their goal of escaping the planet.
"Shining Arch, you are to land right now or we will be forced to fire!" a voice yelled their communications.
"There is no way I'm going to jail just because I didn't have proof I owned my droid and because two crooked cops wanted a nice payday!" Jaune shouted back through the comm channel before severing the link and began to ascend into the atmosphere.
The two ships began to open fire on him but he paid it no mind knowing that the shields he had up would barely be damaged and police ships such as those were incapable of going into space.
So Jaune kept going higher and higher until the cars pulled back for fear of going any further and losing power.
Finally, they were back in the blackness of space floating aimlessly.
Jaune leaned back in his chair letting out a sigh he didn't know he was holding in. Arf rolled up beside letting out a few inquisitive beeps and trills, wanting to know what happened that caused them to leave without restocking their food supply and medicine.
"Some sleemo collector wanted to buy Oum for his collection." he let out, "He wasn't happy about it and bribed a few cops saying I stole him and mind-wiped him."
Arf let out a trill of understanding.
"Hey guys." both droids looked at him, "We're technically good to go right?"
"Yes sir. Our ship has been refueled and there is still enough food to last a month and we are decently stocked with medical supplies." Oum stated.
"How long should this trip take?"
"With our class .7 hyperdrive we will be there in a day." the pilot droid replied.
"Alright, then I guess we're good to go then. I'll let the kids know they're going home." Jaune said, getting up from his seat, "Go ahead and punch in the coordinates." and with that, he exited the cockpit and headed into the lounge where he found the kids sitting at the entertainment table.
They perked up when they saw him enter.
"Alright, kids good news. We're good on fuel which means that we're about to head to your planet soon." he said as the kids cheered.
"How long will it take?" Selena asked, still smiling.
"About a day. So, we'll be there by tomorrow." Jaune answered, easing their concerns, "We won't have any detours along the way."
The kids cheered again smiling at the news.
"You guys want to see hyperspace again?" he asked already knowing what they were going to say.
They immediately got up and headed toward the cockpit to see it again while Jaune chuckled at them.
Like before Jaune sat down in his seat as the kids eagerly waited.
The coordinates were set, the ship was ready for the trip, and with a pull of the hyperdrive lever, they were on their way to Remnant.
AN: Hope this chapter makes up for the wait. Jaune and company explored Cantonica for a bit, got most of the things they needed along with some trouble, and they are currently on their way to Remnant.
Sorry, it took so long to have him reach Remnant. I wanted to set the scene and do a bit of world-building before they went. Don't worry next chapter Jaune sees the Remnant firsthand and begins to bring the kids back to their families.
I've also set up another poll on my profile asking if I should work on one story at a time or update any story I want. If there is a majority voting for one at a time, I'll release a second poll asking which story I should focus on. I'll still be working on my other stories so don't think I'm abandoning them. I'm just asking where my main focus should be compared to the others.
This poll will be closed on Feb.6th at midnight this week so make sure to vote before then.
I'll see you guys next chapter and remember the Force will be with you always...
