A while later, after having dropped off their stuff, the two were now heading into town. to see if they could find any sign of Raglan, or Darwin as he went by now.

"See anything?" Nicodemus asked his wife. She shook her head "Nothing yet..."

They walked up to an orange woman, who was walking down the road with her egg-shaped son in hand, deciding to ask her.

"Um, excuse me Ma'am, do you have a moment?" Ahab tapped the woman on the shoulder.

"Hmm? Yes, what is it?"

"Well, uh, we're new in town, and we're looming for someone, and were hoping that you might know where he is."

"Oh? Who is it you're looking for?"

"Um, his name is Darwin I believe. Fish, has legs, 10 years old."

"Oh, him. Are you sure you want to get involved with his family?" She crossed her arms.

"What? What's wrong with his family?" Nicodemus asked, sounding rather worried.

"What isn't wrong with them? I mean, don't get me wrong, he and the girl are fine, and their mother is...alright I suppose, but it's the father and eldest you should be avoiding. They cause destruction and chaos whoever they go. They're a nightmare..." She shook her head as she remembered some of the things they'd done. "God, to think I almost had to pretend I liked them..."

"Yes, it's a shame Anais had no taste in her shows. She otherwise would have been a very enjoyable playmate." Her son spoke up in agreement.

"Thanks for the warning but we would still very much like to track him down. You see we're-" Ahab began before the woman interrupted her.

"No, you really don't. Trust me, you'll regret it. Now, if you excuse me I have a council meeting to get to."

Before they could say anything else the woman and her child walked away, leaving the two standing there confused and slightly worried.

"Could Raglan's family really be that horrible?" Ahab worried.

Nicodemus placed his fin onto her shoulder. "No, no, I'm sure she was just exaggerating. Besides we saw the videos, he look very happy. If he wasn't he would have left them, right?"

"Yeah...yeah, you're right. It's nothing to worry about. We can judge them for ourselves when we find them."

"Well, they aren't anywhere here so where else should we look?"

"Hmm, where would kids his age hang out? The park? The mall?"

"Both of those seem possible. Then again, he might just be at home, wherever that is..."

"Well, let's just search both. Doesn't matter how long it takes, we have to find him. We just have to."

Nicodemus nodded. "Okay then, where first?"

"The park. It's on the way to the mall I think so we might as well start there."

"How do you know that?" He asked surprised.

"I studied a map of Elmore last night before we left. Wanted to make sure we could find our way around."

He smiled. "You always were the one to think ahead."

She smiled back before giving him a kiss on the cheek. "Someone has to..."

He took her fin and gave it a squeeze. "Right then. Let's find our son."

She nodded and the two set off towards the park, more determined than ever in their quest.

After searching the park and finding nothing the two were now outside the mall, fin on their door.

"This is the last place I can think of searching before we'll have to go knocking door to door..." Ahab spoke, beginning to sound worried.

"I'm sure it won't come to that sweetheart. I know we'll find him, I just know it."

She nodded, and the two took a deep breath before pushing the door open.

They entered the mall and looked around the giant crowd and plentitude of stores in front of them. It would take forever to search this place...but it would be worth it.

The two begun their massive search, searching everything single store and searching through the crowds of people, but still nothing.

They reached the final store, a music shop, and look inside, but it was empty except for the shopkeeper and a few customers.

Nicodemus sighed. "That's every single store, and we've got nothing. If here's no here he could be anywhere in Elmore. It could rake days, weeks even to track him down!"

She placed her fin on his shoulder. "We can't give up Nico. We have to keep looking, no matter how long it takes. We have to find him."

He nodded. "Yeah, you're right. We can't give up. Let's go home and rest for a while, then go back out and look for another few hours."

"Yeah, that sounds good." She smiled.

The two turned to leave when Ahab stopped, noticing one of the customers by the record box. She was listening to music and she texted someone. She looked familiar...but why? As she thought Nicodemus tapped her on the shoulder. "What's wrong?"

"That girl...I'm sure I've seen her before..."

"Have you? She doesn't look familiar to me.."

She suddenly gasped. "Of course! She was in one of the photos with Raglan! He was holding up that picture of her, remember!"

"Oh, right! Yeah that's definitely her!"

"Well, if she's a friend of his that maybe she'll know where he is?" Maybe we should ask?"

"Worth a shot I suppose." He shrugged.

The two walked over and tapped on her shoulder. She turned around and removed her headphones, looking a little annoyed to be interrupted like she was.

"What is it?" She asked them somewhat bluntly.

"Sorry to disturb you, but we're looking for someone important to us, and we were hoping you might know where to find him." Ahab informed her.

She sighed in annoyance, not really in the mood for this. "and who exactly would that be?"

"Rag-uh, Darwin. I think that's what you know him as."

Her face turned to one of confusion and suspicion. "What would two adults want with her boyfriend? It was then that she studied them closer, and noticed the two were both fish with legs, just like him. Wait...could they be? Her face began to light up.

"You...you said he was important to you...how so?" She asked, hoping to hear what she expected.

"Well, you see, we're...we're his parents. He went missing a long, long time ago, and we've been searching for him every since, and just when we had given up hope my wife her found some videos of him on Elmore Plus. We've searched around town, the park and her but we can't find him anywhere..." Nicodemus informed her.

They were...they were his parents! His real parents! After all this years, they'd finally found him!

"We saw a picture of him holding a drawing of you, and figured that you must know him. Do you have any idea where we might find hi-"

Before she could finish the girl suddenly disappeared in a flash of white, much to their surprise.

"What the...where did she go? She was right here!" Ahab asked out loud, completely astonished.

"I...don't know.." Nicodemus replied confused.

Suddenly she appeared again, holding a weird looking notepad and pen. She wrote down something on it and handed over it to them.

"Here, this is his address. You should find him there if he isn't out."

"Oh my god, thank you so much! This is perfect!" Ahab began to smile.

She smiled. "You're welcome.

"I can't believe it! We're finally going to see our son again!" Nicodemus smiled.

"After all this years..." Ahab teared up slightly.

"Good luck you two. I won't tell him you're coming, keep it a surprise for him."

"Oh, thank yo much! How can we ever repay you?"

"Oh, that's not necessary. Just making him happy is good enough for me."

"Are you sure?"

"I'm sure. Now go, don't let me keep you waiting."

"Alright, we will! Thanks again!" Ahab called as the two began to leave.

"No problem!" She waved.

Nicodemus stopped. "Oh, we never got your name dear!"

"Carrie. Carrie Kruger."

He nodded, and the two left, heading to their sons house.

Finally, after all these years they were finally going to reunite.
