Alright, just one more chapter, and possibly another, since I can't seem to think of other stories until the scenes and chapters that are stuck in my mind have been expunged from me.

Also, a Guest has asked why Naruto has the large broadsword, where my answer is, that's life(!) lol.

But no, seriously, it's mostly because of his fighting style, from what I remember, it's kinda like a mix of Dante and Inuyasha, brash but with some control, since Naruto's streetfighting brawler style wouldn't be too easy to give up, granted Jiraiya may have helped with his fighting style, along with Jack, but Naruto's personality would be too brashed for a katana, even with some tempering, making the large broadsword a perfect weapon for Naruto.

More importantly, I'm more surprised that no-one has used the Alastor Sword in any of the Naruto/DMC Crossover stories, since it'll allow Dante and Vergil to keep their own swords.

Chapter 4

Jump Good

Introduction

"Long ago, in an distant land, I, Aku, The Shape-shifting Master Of Darkness, unleashed an unspeakable evil, but a foolish Samurai Warrior, wielding a magic sword, stepped forth to oppose me!"

"Before the final blow was struct, I threw open a portal in time and flung him into the future, where my evil is LAW, now the fool seeks to return to the past and undo the future that is AKU!"

While the Samurai falls through the portal, something else hits into him, allowing both to fall out the other end of the portal.

"But, due to some unforeseen circumstance, or perhaps, dumb luck, someone else was caught in the portal, who happens to be a ninja from another dimension."

Battlefield

Right now Jack and Naruto were standing in a trashed area, with broken and sliced beetle drones all over the place, they had just finished the last 3 off, with Naruto feeling tired after such a battle, using his sword as a cane in order to regain his energy and breath, Jack however was more anxious than tired, seeing as the two were in front of a portal, hoping that he'd get to return to his home and complete his mission.

"At last, my quest has come to an end." Jack finishes, looking on with hope at finally finishing Aku once and for all in his own time.

Naruto was huffing, "Y-Yeah, (huff!) I'm glad for y-you Jack, you can go back there and kick Aku's ass." He tells his teacher, knowing that while he may want to journey with Jack to the past that he might need to stay in this timeline in order to clean everything up, just in case Aku had a back-up plan, since you never know with the demon.

So Jack and Naruto make their way towards the portal, since Naruto and Jack would want to say their final farewell before Aku turns up.

But just as Jack was about to touch the portal, the said demon appears before them, "Not so fast, Samurai!" The being exclaims, swiping the portal and holding it in his hands.

""AKU!""

Seeing this, both Naruto and Jack drew their swords out, rushing and trying to slash the demon, but Aku had managed to dodge Jack's sword, though Naruto's sword had managed to cut Aku.

"GAH! That holy-demonic blade is a real cheat weapon for you, you blond Fishcake!" Since it turns out that due to Naruto's chakra and the pure Tailed Beasts Chakra, along with the demon's power has some effect on Aku.

Naruto just glares at the demon, "DON'T CALL ME THAT!" Naruto tries to swipe at Aku, but due to his anger Aku had simply backhanded Naruto away, laughing at Naruto for falling for such an obvious ploy.

As for Jack he kept trying to slash at Aku, but the demon kept dodging, "Your efforts are in vain, Samurai. This gateway into the past is forever-" But as Aku was talking Jack quickly jumps towards the portal, "Huh?" Catching Aku slightly off guard, but Aku had managed to pull it out of the way, "Beyond your reach!" He soon finishes, while teasing Jack by dangling it over him, making him try and jump towards it, but each time Aku had managed to pull it away from him.

Though on the last try Jack's finger had very nearly brushed against the portal, all the while Aku laughs at the falling Samurai, where Jack lays in a crumpled heap, due to jumping to hard and falling on his back.

"Poor Samurai. Once more you failed! As you lie smashed and defeated, so lie your hopes of going home." Aku finished as he transforms into a bird version of himself, holding the portal in his talons, "Till we meet again." Where he soon flies away, showing that he didn't want to face Jack because of his sword, so he'll take the one thing he ever wants away instead.

Jack slowly sits up, feeling the pain of his defeat, though soon puts his sword away and goes to help Naruto, the feeling of defeat from the both of them.

Forest

The two were in a large forest by their campfire, having their meal, "And that is why you must never lose yourself to your anger Naruto, it can be taken advantage of by others." Jack finishes, while putting his meal into his mouth to eat it.

Naruto looks down in shame, "Yeah I know, but it's like, whenever some calls me Fishcakes it sets me off!" Naruto soon gave a slight smile,"I think it was the same for my mother when someone calls her tomato because of her red hair and chubby face as a child." Naruto finishes in memory of his mother.

Jack releases a sighing smile, "Yes, we all have some traits from our parents, but it seems your trait from your mother is her fiery temper, from what you told me," His own mind going back to his own parents, "Just try and not let your anger control you my friend, that is all I'm asking."

Naruto nods in agreement with that, since while he does love having his mother's trait, it can sometimes get him into quite a lot of trouble.

Though while Naruto and Jack were contemplating their loss, a hand had quickly snatched Jack's bowl of soup, only to return it, but this caught Naruto's and Jack's attention, with both seeing the bowl now empty, confusing the two.

Making the two wonder what was going on, until they heard something land in front of their campfire, only to quickly vanish before they could look towards it, with Jack scratching his head in puzzlement while Naruto asks, "Is someone pulling a prank on us or something!" Since he wasn't too fond of being pranked himself, since he was supposedly a prank master in his child-days.

With Jack replying, "I'm not sure-!?" Where the two quickly looks behind them, feeling like some one was watching them, only for the feeling to vanish once again, only to hear something else, "CHOMP!" Where they soon looked back at their food, only to notice that it was gone.

But when they look up they saw someone jumping away from them, with that the two began chasing after this being that seemed to be jumping and leaping from tree to tree, yet Jack and Naruto continue to chase after it, until Jack was hit in the face by a tree branch, which caused Jack to fall into Naruto, causing the two to fall over in slight pain.

The two soon managed to sit up, rubbing the place that hurt, for Jack it was his chin, for Naruto it was the back of his head, but before anything else the being was in front of them, holding the leftover scraps of their food, "Sorry." He tells them in a gruff voice.

Though the two began asking the person questions, where he explains that he was a man in broken English, showing that he was in the forest for a very long time, while jumping around, "I have never seen a man that could fly."

But the man simply interrupts, "I no fly. Jump good." "WHOOOOOOOOOoooooossshhhh!" Where he then demonstrates by jumping to such a height that Naruto and Jack could barely see him.

Though as he came back down he landed as light as a feather, shocking the two, "Jump really good." Naruto soon exclaims, since not even the ninjas back home could do such a jump, yet this person can do it without chakra, making Naruto feel that such a thing could come in handy for stealth.

Soon the three began making their way to the man's tribe, after Jack asks the wild man if himself and Naruto could be taught how to jump good, where both Naruto and Jack hop on the wild man's back, where they began jumping great distances.

But before their eyes, as the man starts barking and howling, the tribe soon appear, which just happens to be a tribe of small jumping apes, this shocks the Teacher and Student, the wild man soon explained how the tribe raised him from a lost little boy, who was a slave to one of Aku's machines, but ran away.

The two accepted that sort of explanation, understanding somewhat of how the man was raised by the tribe of small apes.

Next Day

Right now Naruto and Jack were sat with the tribe and wild man, eating some fruit, though Naruto and Jack had some difficulty in eating the fruit at first, but after being shown they began enjoying their meal.

That is until a flock of birds began squawking and flying away, catching the tribes attention, causing them to jump away, this behavior confused Jack and Naruto, but they continued eating, but were slightly on edge about the tribes action.

Though as they turn around to see what was heading their way, the two were smacked away instead, where before them was a group of gorilla-like apes, eating the fruit that the jumping apes had gathered, showing that the larger apes were stealing from the smaller apes, showing that they were bullies.

Though Jack tried to talk reason towards the group, all they did was laugh and continued eating, seeing this both Naruto and Jack grabbed a couple of bamboo staffs, where Naruto threw his large broadsword at a tree, allowing it to stick into place for the time being, since while he hates bullies ha can't really harm the larger apes due to them being apart of nature, so they had to do the next best thing.

Both Jack and Naruto threw a couple of pebbles at the group's head, catching their attention, where the group then charged at the pair, trying to attack them, but due to their skills, Naruto and Jack had managed to drive the bullies away, scaring them off, while they're no longer around Naruto holds his hand out and his sword quickly spins back into his hand, allowing him to smoothly place it on his back.

Afterwards the smaller tribe quickly gather around, where Jack and Naruto soon find out that the bullies they faced were "other tribe" where the wild man explained that they can't defend themselves and were scared, hearing this both Naruto and Jack ended up feeling sorry for the small tribe, where the tribe has to relocate somewhere else and start again.

That is until Naruto and Jack offer them training, "And we show you to jump good." The wild man exclaims, where he then translates what they just said to the small tribe, where they began barking and jumping in excitement.

"They agree. We'll learn to protect and defend." He soon answers.

With Jack and Naruto being happy about that, "And they will show us to jump good?" Jack asks, hoping that the small tribe agrees to the exchange.

"No." The wild man says, catching Naruto and Jack off guard with that, "I mean, yes." Though it turns out that last answer was a slight miscommunication in someway.

Soon Naruto and Jack began to teach the small tribe how to defend themselves, along with teaching them how to make traps, though Naruto soon adds his own Uzumaki-twist to the traps, using his prankster style to the mix.

Where after the traps were set, Jack and Naruto began teaching them how to fight, using the bamboo staffs as bo-staffs, with Naruto helping and pointing out flaws here and there, seeing as he was a student himself, but he was much more advanced than the small tribe.

But soon after, it was Jack's and Naruto's turn to learn how to "jump good" with both dressed in outfits that suit such training, Jack looking at Naruto, "Remember Naruto, you can not use your chakra to help you in this training, otherwise it beats it's true purpose."

With Naruto nodding, "Alright Sensei, I promise to follow through with this training, and I never go back on my promise!" Naruto replies with a serious look in his eyes.

Hearing this causes Jack to smile at his student for taking this training seriously, soon the wild man exclaims, "Let's do it!"

Where before their eyes, Naruto and Jack had large rocks tied to their legs and arms, causing the two to bend down because of the weight, but try tostand up properly again, only to have a giant boulder lashed to their backs, causing them bend their knees and struggle to stay standing, but they slowly start walking, "GAH! N-NO WONDER THE LITTLE GUYS ARE SO SMALL IF THEY HAD TO DO THIS IN ORDER TO JUMP GOOD!" Naruto exclaims, since this was nearly as worst as Gai and Lee's training.

Jack soon groaned out, "N-N-NARUTO! F-F-FOCUS O-ON T-THE TRAINING! I-IF YOU HAVE S-STRENGTH TO C-C-COMPLAIN (GRUNT!) T-THEN YOU HAVE STRENGTH TO FOCUS ON THIS!" Jack yells back, struggling to remain standing, but manages to tell his student off and the two began walking, very slowly.

The two soon walked uphill, struggling along the way, but continued through such training with nothing but their stubbornness and determination, double for Naruto since he needed to focus on not using his chakra to help him out.

Naruto and Jack then started climbing vines, using them for rope climbing, though again it was a struggle, with the rocks and boulders tied to their person.

That is until both their vines snap and sends them falling back down to earth, "GGGGGAAAAAAAAAAAGGGGHHHHHH!" With Naruto yelling in pain, but then started cursing like a certain redheaded girl that he fought during the first Sasuke retrieval mission.

But they continued, their stubbornness still withholding and not breaking, while they run through a river, then they were on their backs with their boulder above them, both using their legs to push the boulder up, they were doing well at first, though still struggling, that is until a batch of the small apes jump on top of their boulders, forcing the boulder to start going down.

Then they have to run across a single vine bridge, on for it to snap the moment they step on it.

But after a few weeks, they soon began seeing results, with Naruto and Jack managing to hop over a bamboo rod at their feet, making them smile in triumph, but they continued their training, soon they were running more naturally, as though they were carrying a heavy boulder or rocks around their legs and wrists, they were running uphill, climbing vines with ease, though the vine they were on was about to snap, but they managed to hop to another and continue just as the vine snapped.

The two then began running and jumping more naturally, as though they don't even have such great weights on them, along with a batch of the small apes on their backs, even running on the single vine bridges without them breaking.

Where before long, both Naruto and Jack were jumping on the trees, until they landed with a thud in the clearing with ease, showing their training was complete, where the apes removed the rocks from their wrists and legs, with both then removing the boulder from their backs, causing a loud crash.

Soon the tribe around them jumped into the sky, landing in their trees, as for Naruto and Jack, they close their eyes and tried hoping up, but this caused them to hop over 50 feet into the air, they soon looked down and noticed the boulder they were leaving behind, making both smile in excitement, they then start jumping and running around, happy to have achieved something so helpful and amazing.

They soon landed back in the clearing with the tribe, "You jump good." The wild man exclaims with a happy smile, thus causing both Jack and Naruto to smile as well.

Naruto smiled, "YEAH! GAI! LEE! EAT YOUR HEART OUT!" He soon yelled into the sky, taking the tribe and wild man by surprise, though Jack just smiles and chuckles at Naruto's exuberance, along with remembering who the two people Naruto was yelling towards, since Naruto had told him stories about them, but thought the two spandex wearers were really crazy for such training methods.

Soon it was time for them to leave, with Naruto and Jack putting their clothes back on, along with their swords, "Thank you, friend, for everything you have shown us." Jack says to the wild man, with both him and Naruto bowing in gratitude.

That is until the wild man quickly grabbed them both in a tight hug, "Friend." He simply exclaims, showing his own way of saying goodbye.

With that, both Jack and Naruto began walking away, waving goodbye one last time.

Later

Soon the Teacher and Student were simply heading away, "RRRRRRROOOOOOOOOOOAAAAAAAAARRRRRRR!" That is until they both heard the roar of their friend, causing them to pause, look at each other, then quickly headed back, wanting to make sure the small tribe were alright.

But as Jack and Naruto got there they quickly hid themselves, watching as the small tribe took care of the other tribe easily, while slingshot-ing them away, thus bringing victory and freedom to the small tribe, with both Jack and Naruto smiling at this sight, knowing that the tribe will be fine by themselves now and no longer need their protection, so they leave once more, only without saying their farewell this time around.

Battlefield

It's been a few days since then, where Jack and Naruto had managed to find the time portal once more, along with the beetle drones smashed and sliced to piece once more, only this time Naruto wasn't as tired as he was before.

Soon Jack and Naruto began running towards the time portal, hoping to secure it, only for Aku to make his appearance once again, ""Aku!"" Both exclaimed.

"Samurai fool and stupid Fishcakes(Naruto felt his eye twitch at that), your efforts are in vain again." Aku soon picked the portal up again, "This gateway to the past is once more beyond your rea-" Before he could finish what he was saying Jack and Naruto quickly jumps into the air, "You can fly!?" He soon exclaims, seeing them both reach his head level, their swords at the ready to slay the demon.

Though as the two were heading towards the demon, ""No, jump good."" They both finished at the same time, slicing towards the demon.

The End.

There you have it, Naruto and Jack learning to "jump good" also remember Naruto would get angry like his mother for someone calling him Fishcakes, so it's obvious that Aku would take advantage from such a thing from time to time, since it's basically like poking a bear.

Also don't forget that during the "jump good" training Naruto didn't once use his chakra to help him out, but had to consciously suppress it in order to complete such a training, while also seeing the usefulness of it since he'd be able to use such a thing for stealth and sneak missions.

I also figured Naruto would give a shout-out to Gai and Lee since they did similar type of training.
