Lyni was both excited and nervous for the next day. Wolffe was coming to their house to coordinate jobs with Feral, so she would see him. She was also nervous about what his reaction would be now that she had time to think through what she had said to Tano.

Chopping carrots and potatoes to add to their stew she looked out the kitchen window to the street in front of the house. Shaking herself, Your acting like this is your first crush. Trying not to think about how that one turned out Lyni focused on her stew.

However when the sound of a motorcycle came down the street she couldn't stop her heart from leaping with joy. Seeing Wolffe's familiar jacket as the bike stopped in front of their house before he took off the helmet with a wolf head painted on it. Walking to the house he rang the doorbell like always, and Lyni was determinedly focusing on browning meat when he came into the kitchen. "Hello Lyni, how are you today?" he asked while leaning against the doorframe.

Smiling at him, "I'm alright Wolffe." Stirring the potatoes which were softening, "Have the termites been teasing you?"

Rolling his eyes, "Always." Then he leaned forward to whisper, "I have some great comebacks though." His face softened into a smile as she laughed. Then looking over his shoulder, "Speaking of comebacks," crouching next to her, "some of my cousins have returned so how could I convince Savage to let me stay here until they leave?"

It was a joke, but not completely as shown by the slightly hunted look in his eyes. Putting her hand to his face, "Wait until we have the stew when both Feral and I can help you talk to him." Sighing through her nose, "And we can get Maul's arguments out of the way at the same time."

Wolffe nodded, then touched his forehead to hers. He pulled back when Feral's voice came from the doorway, "What does that mean?"

Looking up at his friend, "It's a Kelebe, how Mandalorians show they're close."

As Feral looked like he was going to argue Lyni piped up, "Like when my brothers lock horns." Both men looked at her, "I don't have horns to interlock with but as an expression of closeness and trust it makes sense."

Wolffe smiled at her, "Exactly." And Feral nodded his understanding before they turned to the next week's scheduling and Lyni returned to the stew.

Kelebe

A forehead touch,

Interlocking horns,

Hand over fist.

All more intimate

And trusting than

The kiss others crave.

Why is that needed,

When we know what

Each motion means,

Here in our house.
