Epilogue: Late September OB/GYN offices at New York Presbyterian, 70th Street and York, New York City

The wedding of Maggie Watson to Dr. J. Roberto Almonte was glorious.

We held it at the beach house in Malibu and Carlos insisted on paying for everything- nothing was too good for the man who saved him. Carlos was also paying for the wedding trip to a fancy Southern California spa- he wanted to send them to Bali or Fiji, but Bob only had a long weekend at this point in his training so a big wedding trip was just not possible.

The happy couple exchanged vows as the sun set on the Pacific Ocean and it was beautiful in its simplicity. It was perfect for the low key couple and I was so happy for them.

We had just returned from California and I was feeling nauseous again. I thought it was due to the rich food at the wedding of Maggie and Dr. Bob.

Carlos wasn't having it. On the flight home Carlos made me an appointment with Sue Mason.

"Breastfeeding or not, you are late and nauseous. It is worth checking out." My super adorable fussy husband insisted. He would take nothing for granted.

He was finally back to work and up to weight, although still not all the way back to top form, but that was only a matter of time for my husband. He even ran one morning on the beach out in Malibu for a mile and while he was winded, he was able to walk back to the house.

I told him I would go. I was pretty suspicious myself.

So here we are and Sue turned the screen to both of us.

There were two little spots and Sue, pointing to the screen, showed us baby A and then baby B.

Twins.

As Carlos kissed me passionately, I felt perfectly content, but a tiny bit afraid.

Happily ever after was going to be a little more crowded than previously expected.
