The next morning would come as Tucker's alarm clock began to buzz. He woke up from his slumber as the clock chattered along. He was in his own dorm for the first time. He decided to make the most of it by cleaning himself up, straightening himself out and getting his uniform on. He decided to look at himself through the mirror. Tucker felt nervous.
"What would you do if you were me?" Tucker asked himself. He stared at his own reflection coming to no conclusion. He then walked away as he went to attend his morning art class. He didn't know if he was going to like Misha or hate her but seeing how three of his periods overlap with her, made him feel like he was on the edge. He knew he needed the time with Rin.
Tucker had arrived a couple minutes early as he decided to take a seat right by the door. He was wondering what Eleanor was doing and it began to plague his mind. He just needed to text her to see if she was okay.
"You seem to be nervous huh?" A voice sounded. Tucker looked up to his left to see Shinichi opening the door to the art room.
"Yeah. It's about my little sister Eleanor Mr. Nomiya." Tucker began. The door to the art room swung open before Shinichi began speaking again.
"Sibling instincts to protect each other?" Shinichi asked if this was true. Tucker decided to take a moment and began to think it over.
"Yeah. I can't stand being separated from her, especially since that accident. I don't trust her to be on her own." Tucker began. Shinichi began to adjust his glasses before he began speaking again.
"It's the fear of losing someone that makes you the way you are." Shinichi told Tucker. "Plus, I think I had a run into a girl with blue eyes as of yesterday afternoon. She asked if this was the art club and I said yes. She decided to stay for an hour and what she made kind of made me captivated." He walked over to grab a picture of a cat in a bed with several balls of yarn. On the side read the signature of Eleanor Kagami. Tucker was shocked.
"Eleanor was here yesterday afternoon?" Tucker asked Shinichi if that was true.
"Yes, she was. She asked if she could join the club and I asked her to draw a picture and she made me this." Shinichi explained as Tucker was captivated.
"Certainly, better than me." Tucker told Shinichi. The door then opened to reveal Rin walking in. She immediately walked over to put her stuff down.
"I think Eleanor said your schedules got mixed up. She wanted this class and not you." Shinichi added on as Tucker began to think about it.
"My mother made the schedules, and she wasn't happy with Eleanor devoting her time to art and not her studies, yet I spend too much time learning about science and machines. So, she wants me to design my own someday and relax a bit." Tucker told Shinichi why they were mixed up to begin with. Shinichi began to speak.
"I might have to speak to Yuuko about something as you seem to be getting interested in something. Now if you excuse me, I have to set up the class for today." Shinichi told Tucker he was cutting the conversation short as there were a few things he needed to do. Rin walked over to Tucker, and she began to speak to him.

"Sleep well last night?" Rin asked. Tucker began to think about what Rin had just said and what this could mean.
"Sleep? I don't know if I sleep at all at times." Tucker began. Rin began to think about something, and she began speaking next.
"Sleep is something that people might have to do, it feels like you're a potato at times as the covers are the ground, you're harvested the next day and replanted at nighttime to grow again. Or it could be flowers or something?" Rin tried her best to describe sleep to Tucker. Tucker began to think about something, and he began speaking.
"What about the mural from yesterday, how is it coming along? Is it done?" Tucker asked as he wanted to find out the condition of the mural they were working on.
"It's almost completed, we still have a few more details to do as we still have to make the lightning touch. I try my best not to tell Shinichi about it." Rin told Tucker as her voice became a hush at the last sentence. She wanted to keep it a secret from her art teacher.
"Do you think we should see the nurse after classes to see if he has the antibiotics?" Tucker asked Rin. Rin began scratching her head while she was getting herself ready to paint with the colors she was being given.
"We should just be sure about it. If he does, then we'll see if we can figure out how to proceed with this." Rin replied. Tucker felt a slight pain coming from his left arm but within a moment it subsided as he was busy sketching. He didn't know what he was sketching but it should be something nice. Hopefully Shinichi knew what he was talking about so he could further Tucker's own interests. Shinichi walked over as he was eyeing both of them.
"Nice work you two, I see you're quickly becoming friends. Anything you two want to talk about more?" Shinichi asked before he took a chair and pulled it out. He sat down while Tucker was still trying to sketch some of the objects in the background.
"We don't know what else we should talk about but whatever floats the boat in terms of subject topic should be fine with us." Rin told her teacher about what she wanted to say. Shinichi nodded before he began thinking of a conversation topic so the three of them could talk.
"Hey Rin, did you run into my sister as of yesterday?" Tucker asked Rin if she had encountered anyone that Tucker had a deep connection with.
"I don't remember actually. I saw a girl with long light brown hair and blue eyes. She had three fingers on her left hand, but we never got to introduce ourselves to each other as me and another person in the club decided to go work on the mural. I'm going to introduce myself to her assuming we run into each other again." Rin explained that she saw a girl that could be Tucker's little sister, but they didn't exchange any conversation meaning or even their names.
"Well, me and Shinichi know her now as Shinichi knows her by her name. He told me she visited him as of yesterday and decided to work with him." Tucker explained to Rin what he knew about. Rin nodded with approval before she began to think about what to do again.
"Well, it seems to me that Eleanor could possibly be an artist, just like me. You seem to be interested in other things. People can be hard as rocks or as soft as jellyfish." Rin did her best to explain what Tucker's sister was doing.
"I'll have to talk to Eleanor the next time I run into her." Shinichi added. The bell rang signaling to the class the end of the first period. Tucker and Rin gathered their things and began to walk off to their next classes.
"Well see you tomorrow." Shinichi bided farewell to his class. Tucker knew that the next period meant some talking from Shizune and Misha. He wasn't looking forward to it.
Eleanor meanwhile was walking down the hallway as she was following someone and talking to him.
"Well, you certainly seem to be having a bit of an awkward time as you try to adjust. I sense that you're like my girlfriend's friend." Hisao began. "Mutou noted about you not paying attention to the lecture and he decided to talk to me about this, is something bothering you?"
"Yes, I originally didn't want to go to Yamaku but my brother and father made me go. I wanted to continue going to my old school so I can continue drawing there but I feel naked without a paper and pencil in my hands. I think the art club is my only source of escape as I feel like I can express myself there." Eleanor explained that she definitely was not having a good time at Yamaku mostly due to the fact that she was struggling to fit in. Hisao began to think about it before he began speaking again.
"Well, you seem to be like me when I first came here. I had trouble fitting in as well. I found Lilly, the girl who cares for me a lot and I think we can expand the tearoom to include one more person." Hisao explained to Eleanor as they walked along in the school hallway. Eleanor looked at Hisao almost as if he was a bit in pain but that also managed to hurt her a bit too.
"Yeah, I just miss the club I was in." Eleanor sighed. Hisao looked at her and placed his hand on her shoulder.
"I know, it's tough getting adjusted somewhere new. I know because I was in your shoes before." Hisao continued speaking to Eleanor. "Plus, the tearoom is just me, Lilly and Hanako so far. Lilly will make you feel welcome about it."
"So, when do you think I'll be able to visit?" Eleanor asked Hisao when it would be best for her to come over to visit.
"Lunch time if you can. I'll probably be running late." Hisao told Eleanor about it. Eleanor nodded as she continued down the hallway. "Hopefully I can keep my brother from texting me." She grumbled as she wanted to be left alone.
Tucker arrives at his second period class before he takes a seat right near the window. He decided to unpack his belongings in the hope that Misha and Shizune don't show up. Then he heard the sliding of a chair as someone sat down next to him. He was lean, had black hair and a pair of bespeckled glasses.
"Good thing I'm not the only boy in this class." The bespeckled student muttered. Tucker turned to his right to see someone sitting next to him. "Or perhaps the last sane man in this world." Tucker didn't understand what this man was saying. He seemed to be reclusive, but this man had a sense of relief wash over him when it turned out he wasn't the only boy in the class. Then the class began to fill up and Tucker grabbed his belongings and moved to a different spot of the classroom. However, he didn't know if this was a good choice or not as Misha and Shizune sat right in between Tucker. Misha turned her head, and she began speaking.
"Hey Tucchan, how is your day going so far?" Misha asked. Tucker felt annoyed that Misha was still calling him that but at least it was better than sitting next to the bespeckled kid.
"It's going well. But I want to ask who is that kid with the scarf and the glasses, he said he was the last sane man in the world." Tucker began. Shizune responded with a few quick hand gestures as Tucker watched, he didn't understand them. "Sorry I can't understand what you are trying to say." Tucker began. Misha laughed before she began translating everything for Shizune.
"Shicchan is saying that's Kenji Setou, Hisao's dorm neighbor. He's always ranting about some theory on how women will take over the world or something crazy. I think he's gone insane for what he might perceive as feminists." Misha explained to Tucker who the bespeckled student was. Kenji turned his head before he began speaking.
"I heard that." Kenji told Misha and Shizune. "Feminists are always listening in your business." Tucker turned to Misha, and he began speaking.
"Hey Misha, I have a question, when lunch time comes, do you have anything you want to do?" Tucker asked awkwardly as he tried his best to figure out what would be the best thing, they could do between themselves. Misha made a few quick gestures before she turned back to Tucker.
"I'm going to help William out with moving the mason jars to the storage room for the festival coming up. He's got about twenty jars in there so far." Misha told Tucker that she was going to be busy helping someone out. Tucker thought about his dorm neighbor that he was friends with.
"Is he in dorm 100?" Tucker asked Misha if she knew where she was going to go.
"Yep. And Shizune has something to do with Ernest so you're on your own." Misha told Tucker that there will be nobody to hang out with for lunch. Tucker thought about Rin but she didn't know if she was willing to be with him. He began to think about it before he turned and began speaking to Misha again.
"Do you know where the library is?" Tucker asked Misha.
"It's on the second floor at the end of the left wing of the hallway, it's the biggest room of the wing." Misha told Tucker where the library was. "Would you like me to show you the way there?" Misha offered to help him out. Tucker nodded before he calmly said:
"I should be good. But thank you for asking." Tucker told Misha he should be fine. Tucker began to think. He thought he was going to hate Misha, but they were getting along quite nicely. The teacher came in and they began to learn for the day.
The hours would tick by, but Tucker wasn't on edge as he was during the first day. He couldn't wait to spend some time with Rin but he didn't know if he was going to get together with her, so he opted to go to the library instead. It didn't help that Misha's directions were less than helpful. The second floor was a carbon copy of the first one. Plus, he didn't know where he was going to have lunch. He continued to wander around the floor when an unfamiliar voice caught his attention.
"I know, the festival that's coming up will definitely bring some attention to us. If we can get the attention. I can probably see someone winning." The unfamiliar voice seemed to be coming from one of the rooms. Tucker went over and knocked on the door.
"Who's there?" Tucker asked as he tried to be as polite as possible.
"You can come in, we don't mind." Another voice told whoever was at the door they could come in. The voice sounded like Eleanor's. Tucker gathered his curiosity and opened the door. Eleanor was truly there. Not only that but Hisao and two other girls were occupying the tearoom.
Katawa Shoujo- Concord
Tucker couldn't believe his eyes. Eleanor was only in the room with Hisao, but he looked to find two other the two girls acting politely, and they had welcomed him. One had long back length purple hair and grayish purple eyes. The girl sitting next to him had blonde hair and cloudy blue eyes as she looked like she was blind. Despite being blind, she was taller than Tucker, possibly the tallest girl he had ever laid eyes on. She turned and she began speaking.
"You seem to be lost, what caused you to visit the tearoom?" She asked, her voice sounded calm and soothing almost if it was his own mother this teenager was talking.
"I was looking for the library and I got lost. Can I sit here for a while?" Tucker asked if he could hide here and ask for directions. He felt like he was an idiot thinking he knew where to go but in reality, he didn't.
"Of course." The wavy blonde girl responded. "I'm Lilly Satou and the girl next to me is Hanako Ikezawa." Lilly gave the introduction to herself and Hanako. Hanako looked at Tucker as if she seemed to be a little bashful about Tucker.
"Nice to meet both of you." Tucker told Lilly. She slid a saucer and a cup to Tucker, and he took it. Lilly grabbed a tea kettle and began pouring the tea into the cup. After a certain point. She puts the kettle back. Tucker got out lunch and began eating it. He took a sip of the tea, and he liked it. "I'm pretty fond of tea so thanks again Lilly."
"No problem, we're going to head to the library later to pick up a few things from Yuuko. You said you were heading to the library too, but you got lost. Do you need some directions?" Lilly offered Tucker to be his escort until he knew the layout of the entire school.
"I was an idiot for not taking them, so I'll be more than grateful for them." Tucker told the group that he would be more than willing to have the directions given to him instead of saying no.
"I'd figure. Probably the only reason you said no was the fact that you were offered directions by Misha." Hisao told Tucker that he probably still wasn't fond of them.
"I don't like the student council president Shizune so we're not far apart." Lilly admitted, once they finished their lunch and tea, they got up and began making their way to the library. After Lilly cleaned up the tearoom first. Tucker felt grateful that he had Eleanor to check up on especially for lunch.
They made it to the library as Lilly gently opened the door. They walked in to see who was inside to speak to. Tucker hadn't seen the library before and neither did Eleanor. They were both curious to see where this was going to take them. Lilly walked up to the desk and rang the bell to get the librarian's attention. This was heard with a clunk from the desk.
"Are you okay, miss?" Lilly asked whoever it was that was behind the library desk. A librarian came up to greet the students as she began to speak to them.
Katawa Shoujo- Everyday Fantasy
"Oh. Sorry I was busy getting my pencil which was under the desk. I'm Yuuko the librarian, I work here on weekdays." Yuuko introduced herself. She spotted two students she wasn't familiar with. "Who are you two?" She asked.
"This is Tucker and Eleanor Kagami, they transferred here yesterday." Lilly introduced them to Yuuko. Eleanor stood there being cute while Tucker felt like he was on the edge.
"Nice to meet both of you." Yuuko told them with a smile.
"Anyways Yuuko, we came here to pick up some supplies you might have." Lilly told Yuuko about it. Yuuko began to think about it before she got up and nodded.
"Oh, that's right. It's for the festival that is coming up this weekend?" Yuuko asked Lilly if that was true.
"Yep. We figured out you had them." Lilly told Yuuko that they needed the supplies for their stand.
"Okay. Just a moment." Yuuko told them. She turned and walked off into the storage room that was nearby. Tucker wanted to keep talking to Lilly.
"So, Lilly, what do you plan on doing for the festival? I know William is doing something with his juices he is making but I don't know what Rin and I will be doing?" Tucker began. Lilly turned and began speaking to Tucker.
"Me and a couple other students are running a stall where we serve food to the customers and…" Lilly did her best to explain but she paused when she heard the name of an unfamiliar student. "Who's William?" Lilly asked.
"William's the juice maker from Tucker's dorm section." Hisao began. Tucker added in.
"He's making juice for the festival; I might have to ask him about the stand he's making for the festival." Tucker added. Lilly listened in and she thought of an idea.
"I might have to pay him a visit later on. I sense an opportunity." Lilly smiled a bit as she thought she was going to visit William. Tucker felt nervous, what did Lilly need him for? Yuuko came back outside with several of the art supplies she had laying around.
"This is all I can spare for now as stall making is in full swing. I hope it's enough." Yuuko nervously told Lilly as she looked over the meager supplies.
"I'll see what I can do with this." Lilly told Yuuko before she gathered the supplies. Yuuko nodded before she bowed.
"I'm more than grateful for some sort of assistance." Yuuko replied. Lilly and the gang began leaving the room as they knew something big was coming up.
"Well, we got some supplies, I might as well begin working on my stall this afternoon into the evening, assuming the teachers will be lenient with us about homework." Lilly began. Tucker nodded before he began walking away. He needed to get to his last period, but someone was on his mind. Rin. He continued to walk in the hallway before he met up with someone. It was Misha and Shizune. Shizune made a few quick hand gestures before Misha began speaking.
"Hello there Tucchan, did you find the library?" Misha began. Shizune glances off to the side almost as if she had a cat-like smile.
"I did but I will admit that I had to get help. I ended up getting lost." Tucker admitted that he should've asked for directions.
"Well, I'm not one to fault someone for their decisions." Misha replied. Shizune looked at Tucker as if she was a bit mad with him. "It's always good to ask for help even if you don't need it." Misha added for Tucker. Tucker sighed as he knew he couldn't argue. Misha was right.
"Yeah, I guess you were right." Tucker told Misha that he was wrong, and he had regretted not asking Misha for directions. Misha laughed again before she began speaking.
"Well, Tucchan, everybody makes mistakes, even I make mistakes sometimes." Misha seemed to be carefree in her response. She calmed down before she began speaking again. "Well, we have to get to class. Until we bump into each other again." Misha and Shizune walked off as Tucker knew he had to get to his next class. Hopefully he could spend the afternoon with Rin. But before he could take a few steps. Misha remembered something and decided to flag Tucker down.
"Anything else you want to ask Misha?" Tucker asked. Misha began to think as if her mind lit up like a lightbulb.
"Shizune asked if you want to visit the Student Council office later today?" Misha began. Tucker began to think, an invitation from Misha. He began to think it over before coming to a conclusion on the matter.
"Thanks for the invitation but I have to visit the School Nurse to see if he has any antibiotics for my condition available, if not, I'll go to your room to see what you need me for." Tucker explained that he had elsewhere to be. Misha smiled before she began speaking again.
"Okay, I understand Tucchan. See you around." With that Misha and Shizune took off as they were heading for their last period class. Tucker seemed to still be thinking about Rin and whatever she might have in mind. As he sat down for the last period. Two girls were sitting across from him.
"Hey, you know what this could mean?" One of them began. Tucker turned to see one of the two girls talking. She had a pair of glasses over her eyes and the right lens was specifically modified to meet her needs. Tucker began to think about it as he spotted the second girl sitting next to her. Blonde shoulder length hair and brown eyes.
"Yes, if we can convince Lilly about it, we can get her into the newspaper group." The other one responded.
"Do you think this will be successful?" The first girl asked.
"We're not sure, let's wait until the festival passes, it's still too early." The second girl told her friend. Tucker seemed to be curious about his classmates for the last period. He looked at them before he decided to get up and move his seat. He sat down next to the two of them as the first girl looked to see Someone had decided to join.
"Can we help you with something?" The first girl asked. She looked at Tucker before she began speaking after a couple of moments of staring at him. "You must be Tucker Kagami?"
"How would you have known?" Tucker asked the two girls how they managed to know his name. The first girl began to speak out again.
"We were told by Misha today about you and we didn't know we had last period with you." She began. "I'm Natsume Ooe and this is my friend Naomi Inoue." Natsume introduced herself to Tucker and her friend.
"I can't believe we're speaking to you for the first time. I want to say that your kind of cute. So, any answer about getting Hanako into the newspaper club?" Naomi asked as she wanted what Tucker had to say. Tucker only just met Hanako today and he didn't know her too much.
"I don't know exactly; I don't really know her." Tucker replied. Natsume nodded as Naomi was just rushing in there.
"Don't worry, you'll know her as more time comes. Do you have any interest in joining any clubs?" Natsume asked Tucker. Tucker began to think about it as he didn't know what to do.
"Not at this moment, this is my second day here." Tucker responded. Natsume nodded before she began to speak again.
"Well, that's a shame." Natsume sighed. She began to think of something else. "What about the festival coming up, do you know if you will be attending?" Tucker knew all about that and he gave a vigorous nod.
"Yes definitely, if we see each other, we don't know what we should do." Tucker told Natsume and Naomi.
"Games probably. That's the best part of the festival." Naomi spoke, her voice was a bit loud but not as loud as in screaming in the case with Misha. The teacher came in and decided to cut the conversation short. The next half hour went by without much of a hitch and the bell rang afterward. Tucker got up and decided to head for the School Nurse's office.
Hopefully he could meet Rin.
[A/N]: Story is meandering along as I'm still in the process of introducing all of the characters. Hopefully this will be building up for the festival that is coming up. When it does come, it'll probably be a pretty lengthy chapter. Next chapter will still be the same day, but it'll be continuing the events onward. Tucker is going to be having more friends in this fanfiction than he could count for.
