Lmao it's been a million years since I've updated '-_- Whoops hahaha. Anyway, I originally struggled to write about Kakashi's curse and then it basically turned into a mini hiatus till I got my writing mojo back. Definitely not as bad as George RR Martin. Anyone love Game of Thrones? I've gotten a bit rusty so I apologize in advance with my writing.

"Maah, I'm telling you, the lake would be a better centre than the cabin." Kakashi debated as the blonde was getting ready, fluttering about the home. "It is where we train."
"I already have things set up here, Kakashi. It's more practical."
Kakashi sighed and walked towards the blonde. "Honestly, you may have matured but you're as stubborn as ever." Kakashi quickly grabbed Naruto around the waist and lifted her over his shoulder. "Up we go and out we must!" He laughed.
"Kakashi!" Naruto squawked at his sudden intrusion and stiffened slightly.
"Don't worry, Naruto, I won't do anything inappropriate." Kakashi reassured the blonde on his shoulder as he opened the door. Feeling her relax, he added on. "That is unless you want me to."
"Kakashi!" Naruto yelled into his ear. "Stop messing around!"
"Maah maah, I couldn't help it. It's been awhile since I've teased some cute little gennin." He admitted with a chuckle and headed towards the lake with her still on his shoulder. He was okay like this and felt at ease that he wouldn't touch her indecently.
"Sasuke's a jonin and Sakura is a chunin." Naruto frowned before realisation hit her like a ton of bricks. "I'm still a gennin!"
"It'll take about 2 years for you to become jonin, Naruto. A good amount of study will be needed, at least two types of elemental chakra, proficient use of genjutsu and decent taijutsu. We even have the power to decide if the Hokage candidate is worthy to become our Hokage."
Naruto sighed heavily. "So a lot of book work is to be done, well I don't mind. I have a decent hand with water ninjutsu and everyone knows I can't cast a genjutsu to save a life." She snorted. "Unless I have to use that one."
"That one?" Kakashi asked as they were at the edge of the lake. Heading towards the centre.
"Yeah, that one. My taijutsu is...well you've seen how I fight. -sigh- it's going to take a long time."
"Indeed, I have seen your taijutsu skills. I see you that you've centered with Jiraiya-sama's and another animal based styles." Kakashi lifted the blonde up with her placing her hands on his shoulders as he lowered her to the water. He smiled to the blonde with his hands still on her hips. "It may seem like a long time to you but I'm sure you'll do well."
"Thanks, Kakashi." Naruto beamed before pulling away and pulled out a kunai. "I'm just going to take a drop of blood." She muttered and pricked Kakashi's thumb and allowed the blood to touch the sealing paper and did the same for her before she began walking a few metres away from the man. "If you could, Kakashi, make sure my output of chakra stays at 37% and no more no less." She held the seal in her hand and slapped her hands together.
Kakashi sighed lightly as her warmth was taken away and lifted up his hitai-ate. "Ready when you are, little fox."
"Tch I'm going to beat that name out of you one day, Ookami." Naruto smirked as she got her chakra ready.
"Less Naruto...maah at least half of what you have...and there, that's enough, Naruto." Kakashi instructed. He had a small smile. It felt like he was teaching the blonde again and seeing her enthusiasm made his heart warm. Seeing her blonde hair fly in the wind as she got her jutsu going, the proud smile on her lips and sparkle in his eyes made his heart flutter. She was truly magnificent.
It wasn't long after when Kakashi briefly heard her mutter the jutsu and his body tense and shiver before relaxing. Feeling the barrier go around him and kept his eye on the blonde and her chakra. Seeing her smile at him, Kakashi covered up his sharingan, slightly amazed at how easy it was for Naruto to erect a barrier so large in a short amount of time. Kakashi looked up and saw no indication that there was a blockage around them.
"Simply amazing." He said and felt his fingers twitch near his pouch.
Naruto walked up to Kakashi and shrugged her shoulders. "I'm sure you've got some things up your sleeve that not even Gai-sensei knows of." Seeing his finger twitching Naruto said. "You can read Ero-sennin's book, yknow. It'll be a shame if you didn't - hahaha." Naruto laughed as Kakashi immediately whipped out the book and heard him sigh with his back slouching. This was the Kakashi she remembered and fell for all those years ago. Naruto shook her head and looked to the heavens. Kakashi was a changed man and so was she. "You already know I have to marry but, I have to soon."
Kakashi's blood ran cold and gripped onto the book tightly as he eyed the blonde. He could see through her body that she was uncomfortable with the idea. "How soon?" He remembered when she confessed her marriage to him and him barging into the Hokage's office.
"I can't leave the village without being married." She sighed lightly ignoring his question, "Y'know, being out here with you, I felt free from those suitors and stalkers. The stress from being within the village where my best friend is in love with me and the feeling of our friends planning something, is gone from my shoulders. A selfish part of me wants for you to continue stalling so that I don't have to go back…" she looked to him with her eyes wetting. "Why would Ji-chan do such a thing to me, Kakashi?"
"Naruto…" Kakashi whispered and moved towards her. Grabbing her arm and pulled her into his chest while wrapping his arms around her frame tightly. "I can't give you the answer you want, little fox, because we both know it'd be lies since I do not know. Though do know that I'll always be here to take care of you."
Naruto bit her lip to keep her sobs back as she clung to Kakashi's clothes. "Baka Ji-chan."
Kakashi chuckled a little and smoothed her hair. "Indeed, the Sandaime was a fool." Kakashi gently picked Naruto up into his arms and carried her to the shore. "What would you like to do today, sensei?" He asked.
Naruto snorted and looked at him. "I want for you to teach me how to master wind manipulation, please."
"Maah, I can do that. Though there'll be some rearranging going on." He stopped at the shore and placed her down before facing the lake. "For you to able to master the wind element, you'll need to cut through a waterfall." Kakashi informed as he went through the handsigns and slammed his hands on the earth. Erecting a large and wide waterfall that had an earth walkway, halfway of the waterfall. Kakashi took in a deep breath. "Still got it."
"Sugoi." Naruto muttered at the construct, knowing it would take a lot of chakra yet Kakashi looked unfazed. "That's some crazy chakra you've got there."
"You can only imagine what would happen if we shared our chakra qualities." Kakashi replied back and both laughed because that'd create such chaos and worry. "We can start now if you'd like and I'll watch your progress or even summon Pakkun."
"Sounds good to me. I'm gonna get changed really quick." Naruto commented before disappearing in a swirl of leaves.
Kakashi was about to summon Pakkun before a dark chill went down his spine and a eerily sinister voice entered his head. "Well well well, it's been awhile since we've last had our chat, runt. Have you figured out who I am yet?"
Kakashi sighed and pulled his book out. Deciding to summon Pakkun later. "Kyuubi."
"Indeed, that is I." The kyuubi chuckled within the depths of its jinchuriki's mind. "Do you know why I am here?"
"Stupid beast connected our mindscapes when he marked Naruto." Kakashi replied and turned to find a shady tree to sit under. "What do I owe the pleasure of your presence, Kyuubi? I believe you haven't told Naruto or that she knows. Otherwise I'd be dead right now."
Kyuubi smirked. "Smart man you are. Though you and your beast both had a play in marking my host, not just the one." Kyuubi laid on its paw as it tails curled around its large frame. "I've come with a warning to you."
Kakashi swallowed. "What may it be, Kyuubi?" He asked with a respectful tone.
The fox barked out in laughter and told the young man. "No need to fear, you idiot runt. I'm not going to harm you or any other means of harm. My dear Naruto would never let me hear the end of it."
"You've been close for a long time." Kakashi stated and relaxed, getting back to his book. "You must've taken great care of her. Thank you."
"Don't thank me, idiot." Kyuubi growled though it held no malice to it. "I was asked by her mother to take care of her and no, I haven't told her about her parents." Kyuubi said when he knew Kakashi was to interrupt. It wasn't a lie either because her perverted godfather had let her know a week into their trip and the blonde had come to it to ask more about Kushina. "But that's not why I'm here to talk to you about. In a few weeks, give or take, Naruto will come into heat." Kyuubi heard the man's breath hitch briefly. "It will be dangerous for you to be near her now that you've come into contact with your beast; and it will also be dangerous for her when she loses control and you both wake the next day with regrets and you lose your mate."
"How-" Kakashi was cut off by the legendary fox.
"I have no clue what Naruto plans to do when it happens. If she leaves to find a source, you must allow her to but I must ask that you watch over her and make sure that she's safe."
"You want me to watch the woman I love fuck someone else?!" Kakashi hissed and felt his blood boil at the thought.
Kyuubi growled. "Would you rather force yourself upon her and have her leave and never return?! This village has hurt her yet she's back and willing to forgive! Don't give her a reason to never return to the Fire Country."
Kakashi calmed slightly at hearing the kyuubi's words and understood full heartedly but he wouldn't be able to hold himself back if he did go. "Why would you make me do this when you know what it will do to me?"
"I just have a bad feeling. Something that neither of you will like. Do what it takes to protect her but should either of you force yourselves on each other, I will intervene. She may deny it but she needs you to be there for her. Can you do that, Kakashi?"
Hearing his name, he nodded his head strongly. "I won't let either of you down. I swear by it." Feeling the kyuubi leave his mind, Kakashi sighed in relief as the cold feeling left his body. He would need to give everything when Naruto's heat arrived. "I should summon Pakkun." Kakashi muttered and did just that. "Yo Pakkun."
"It's been awhile, Kakashi. How our Naruto doing?" The pug licked its front paw.
"Maah she's good-"
"Pakkun!"
Both males heard the blonde yell and both looked towards her. Pakkun waved in a bored manner with Kakashi spluttering and holding his chest as she made her way over to them.
"What the hell are you wearing?!" Kakashi yelled in shock.
Naruto rolled her eyes as she walked on over to them with a towel over her shoulder. "It's a bikini, Kakashi, I'm sure you've seen other women wearing these before." She gestured to the orange two piece she was in with a pair of black shorts in hand. Naruto quickly slipped the shorts on and tied up her hair as she said to the still shocked Kakashi. "If I wore my clothes they'll get heavy and weigh me down." Naruto threw her towel to the man before making two dozen clones and all leapt over to the waterfall to start their training.
"Smooth." Pakkun chuckled before falling over as Kakashi threw the towel at him. Pakkun wiggled out of the towel and caught, just in time, Kakashi's eye flicker from red back to grey. "Ahh so it's my time to shine, aye."
Kakashi nodded but glanced up to the copies of Naruto. She looked stunning working hard at cutting the waterfall but with the yells he heard, he could tell she was enjoying the task at hand. The tempting skin didn't faze him as much as he thought it would and was pleased by that. He wouldn't mind watching her a bit more but returned to his book to distract himself. "Yes, I've come into contact with my beast just recently."
"This would've been easier when you were younger but better now than later and never."
"Why wasn't I told?" Kakashi asked the long awaited questioned on his mind.
"Your father and I thought the curse skipped you because you never showed any signs of carrying it. You were no trouble for Sakumo to raise and very tame; though I was meant to tell you when the time came for you to settle down and raise a family of your own incase your children inherited the curse."
"It's a curse, so is there any way to break it." Kakashi asked his second question.
Pakkun hummed as he sat next to Kakashi and watched Naruto train. "None that your family was aware of and they had spent many generations looking and failed each attempt."
"Okay, then how did this curse befall my family and it's not seen as a bloodline?" Kakashi questioned the pug and put his book down for this.
Pakkun grinned as he got ready to tell his tale, "Well, it goes along the line of…"
Before the time of warring clans fighting there was once a young woman at the tender age of ten. Beautiful she was not. Born out of wedlock with a whore for a mother and father unwanting of such a beastly child and disgraced birth, abandoned them both. They called her Vil the Repugnant, with the villagers casting her to the wilds after they slaughtered her weeping mother before her; the only one that ever loved her. For several months, Vil managed to survive by foraging on tree bark and rotted animal carcasses, if she were lucky. Becoming even more true to her name with dirtied rags, ratted hair and stained crooked teeth.
A New moon was overhead when she made the mistake of wandering too close to a neighbouring village in celebration of the celestial event. A group of drunken men came across her and dragged her deep into the woods while she screamed, cried and beg to let go, not knowing what they'd do to her. As their fists went flying and her clothes torn with each horrific scream, Vil heard a deep, dark and vile growl that seemed to make everyone freeze cold and their skin flush cold. One by one the men on her disappeared with piercing screams till she was left alone, naked and dirtied.
In the darkness with the moon being the only light, Vil could see a dark mist figure shaped in a form of a large wolf approach her with threatening red eyes that glowed. Telling her to stay still and Vil listened. The wolf-mist circled the ugly girl before it spoke like circulating poison. "What do you wish for?"
"I do not wish." Vil replied quietly as her trembling stopped. Though she didn't move as the beast continued to circle her.
The beast snapped it's misted fangs at her. "Lies! What do you wish for?" The beast stopped before and took one look at her face. His snout pulling back into a cruel almost-smile. "You wish for beauty. Beauty that rivals beyond your mother."
"I do not wish" Vil repeated with her long unkempt nails dug into the rotted leaves beneath her.
"You wish for beauty to be accepted by the village that cast you away like the trash you are." The beast mocked the little girl. "You wish for beauty to be loved by all."
"I do not wish!" Vil screamed at the misted figure. Her dark grey eyes wet in lies as her silver hair caked in dirt clung to the snot of her nose. "I do not-"
"Rougarou knows. Rougarou has watched. Rougarou has listened." The beast came close to her face and saw no fear in her ghastly eyes. Hope was what he saw and Rougarou would use. "What do you wish for?"
With tears in her eyes, Vil whispered, "Beauty. I do wish for beauty."
Rougarou snickered and lurched forward. Biting down into her shoulder and listened to her sweet screams before disappearing under the covers of night with a vile laugh.
Pakkun recalled the story he knew. "Vil returned to the village that killed her mother, five years after the meeting with Rougarou, with a young son by her feet and daughter at her hip. There were no words to describe her and no gem that shone brighter than her; her children equally as beautiful. Women of the village tried to warn the men of the dangers and rumors that followed Vil and her children, but none would listen. Believing the women to be filled with jealousy."
"What rumors?" Kakashi asked, confused utterly by his clan's origins and guessing that his ninken was terrible at telling stories.
Pakkun glared at being interrupted, "Every village Vil and her children stayed in had vanished. The only traces left of any settlement were the charred grounds and a lake of blood would be found at the centre." Pakkun stopped to see if Kakashi would but in and carried on when he saw he was listening intently, "As it neared the festival of the new moon, Vil grew restless and fled to the woods to meet Rougarou. Begging to the woods to spare her children and let her be punished. You see, she fell in love with the village's priest and wanted to spare him." Pakkun continued and slowly saw Kakashi piece things together but continued anyway. He'd been waiting years to tell this story. "She begged for 3 days and 3 nights but went home empty-handed and heavy hearted. When she approached her village Vil hesitated as she smelt ash and cried as she reached the village to see it burnt to the ground while she was gone and a lake of blood at it's center. Vil approached the lake and fell to her knees as there, in the middle, swam her daughter with a wicked smile on her lips and body morphed to that of a ghastly beast. Believing already that her lover had been murdered."
"What about the other kid?" Kakashi questioned.
"I'm getting there, just wait!" Pakkun barked before clearing his throat to start up again. "Vil sat there weeping when she saw her oldest child, though sickly and weak, pass by her and swim towards his little sister. Watching as her son touched the beast's cheek and saw her daughter morph back into a human and the humanity come back to her eyes. Though, what Vil didn't see in time was her lover on the other side of the lake seeing the same sights and the last Vil saw was a blinding light before she passed out. She awoke to her son and daughter Laying beside her though with a notable difference. Her son had a distinctive mark on his neck and looked up to see her lover holding her with worry." Pakkun shrugged his shoulders. "It's confusing I know, but I'm almost done, Kakashi."
Kakashi sighed at the complicated story. "Then again it's an old story. I don't doubt that it hadn't changed over the years."
Pakkun agreed as he wrapped up the tale. "Anyway, the priest had wandered to the other villages where Vil had previously passed in and saw the devastation and if it wasn't for the act in the lake of blood the Hatake clan wouldn't be here today."
"Pakkun, hurry it up before I make my own conclusion." Kakashi tutted at the pug and received a fiercer glare in return.
"The mark binded the two children together and calmed the beast within the girl and the son slowly but surely got better and rid of illness though unexpectedly the two children ended up romantically involved with each other due to the connection. The priest connected the two together to even each other out and when he had a child with Vil that child also bore the curse and as time went on the two adult discovered that child had marked another and calmed-"
Kakashi flipped his book open and sighed. "The Hatake clan was derived from a shadow demon, unattractive turned beauty, and incest. Great."
Pakkun huffed and plopped onto the grassy banks. "I've waited years to tell you this story. Rehearsed it many times in my head for this moment and what happens. I'm interrupted and rushed."
Kakashi snapped his book shut and stood up. "Maah, I'll let you tell it again properly one day, Pakkun." Eye smiling down at the dog as he pulled his shirt over his head and stripped off his pants till he was in his boxer briefs. He reached up for his mask before shaking his head and left it on. "I'll be in the lake."
Just as Kakashi reached the lake and prepared to dive did Pakkun holler out, "Don't molest Naruto or I'll be sure to tell Jiraiya-sama!" Waving his paw as the man tripped and belly flopped into the lake. Deciding to stay a while longer and watch Naruto as she worked on the waterfall with a wistful sigh.
Naruto:
Naruto felt Kakashi nearby underwater. Though she continued one trying to get her chakra to successfully cut the lake. Jiraiya had once said to try and make her wind sharp like a buzzsaw but to have two yet going in different directions to make it incredibly sharp. Naruto frowned as she realised the mega perv was also drunk in that moment but didn't dare to dismiss his words. He was always right when it came to her training, no matter what state he was in. "How's your swim?!" Naruto shouted over the loud sound of the pounding water down at Kakashi as she felt him pop out of the water.
Kakashi looked up at Naruto and all the many Naruto beside her. Trying to ignore the multiple butts in the process as he yelled up. "Refreshing! How's it going?"
"I'll get there eventually!" Naruto grinned as her eyes softened. Turning around to look down at him as the clones continued to attack the water. His damp hair covered his forehead and scarred eye that Naruto though it was a good and relaxed look for him. "Ne Kakashi!" Seeing him nod she yelled down with a wave, "Thank you for teaching me!" She boasted out laughing and heard the man chuckle at her antics.
Kakashi's eye softened, "It feels nostalgic, doesn't it?"
Naruto nodded. "It does. It feels good." Naruto caught herself and stood back up with a thinned smile. "Though I better get back to it if I ever want to master that technique Ero-sennin has been going on about!"
Kakashi would be lying if he said that her pulling away from the moment didn't hurt him but he wouldn't push it. "Maah maah, what jutsu did he have in mind?" Knowing well that Jiraiya had no affinity for wind.
Naruto clenched her fist up in determination. "I'll be adding wind chakra to the rasengan! Yosh!" She yelled in vigor and got back to training with her clones.
Kakashi floated under the water and wanted to choke. Naruto with a wind powered rasengan was to be even more fear than with just the regular version and taking in the consideration of how she thinks. "Maah I better start training harder too. It'd do no good for me if Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura get too far ahead of me that I can't keep up. Naruto might even call me old." Kakashi chuckled and swam back to the shore. Deciding to work on his stamina over reading the latest Icha Icha novel.
Naruto stopped as soon as she felt Kakashi back on the shore and looked over her shoulder to the man. His back was glistening from how pale he was and the water dripping down his bare back towards his firm butt. From a distance she felt bittersweet about everything with him but whenever he was near she did truly feel at peace spiritually. "Even from behind that bastard is handsome."
The clone to her right chuckled and looked over to the original. "He's always been mysteriously good looking. What I want to know is what his face looks like."
The clone to the left nodded with a hum. "Yeah and I want to feel how tight his ass actually is!" The rest of the clones nodded and chimed in agreement. "Boss should definitely and accidently," the clone air quoted, "grab Kakashi's ass during a spar."
Naruto groaned as her clones discussed among themselves of what part of Kakashi they wanted to touch and dispelled them before her brain couldn't hand the overload of perverseness from herself.
"Just jump him already."
"Shut up, Kumara!" Naruto hissed at the chuckling demon and summoned another batch of clones. Getting back to her training as she filed away that Kakashi was training himself along the lake's bank. "But he does have a nice ass."
Kurama grinned, "Anyone can appreciate a nice ass."
