TWEEK
THREE DAYS LATER
Craig just finished getting dressed after his long hot shower that we had together, among other things. We tried to stay to course I promise. He was washing my body, I was washing his, then I used my mouth to cleanse certain areas. I just put on my house clothes after blow drying my hair. Poor Craig is having to put on the same clothes, but I did wash them for him. He slides his hand into freshly washed hair.
"Did you need me to fix you something to eat?" I inquire.
"You have done more than enough," he replies glancing at me. "You're a really good omega." I begin to blush. He chuckles scenting my embarrassment to his compliment. He walks over to me. "At least we saved some money. No mating center."
"For sure," I reply. Craig pulls two hundred dollars out of his wallet. Jesus. Who carries that much cash nowadays? "What are you doing?"
"Giving you money for groceries," he replies. "We ate a lot."
"You mean you!" I exclaim. "We eat out more than I cooked. You don't have to do this." Craig was ravenous eating everything. We order a lot of food. Steak, burgers, chicken fried chicken, anything hearty he had. Don't get me wrong I had some too but not as much as him. I was able to stretch mine over 2 or 3 meals. Craig grabs my hand making my heart flutter.
"I want to," he replies. I gaze at Craig almost at a loss for words. Craig surprises me leaning down scenting my neck softly. I sigh as my eyes close basking in the scenting. I can't explain how good scenting feels. I think Craig feels the same way as he grabs my waist pulling me closer to his body. I slide my hands into his hair beginning to scent him back. I'm drowning in Craig's scent. It's going to be well over a month before I can get this scent to wear off. I moan knowing I'm going to become erect if he keeps going. Craig growls lowly scenting my arousal. He pulls away from me leaving the air around me a little colder. "Sorry….."
"No need to apologize," I almost slur looking up at him. I cover my mouth realizing he is aroused too. Craig is blushing deeply shifting his eyes away from me.
"I know you need to hit up the store again," he replies. "Don't feel guilty about the money I gave you. Shit, let my get home. I will need to sleep, I must work tonight."
"Okay," I reply. "I'll walk you to the door." During our downtime he never discussed Leslie. Although I wanted him to, I'm glad he didn't. I mean she could have been the reason he went into rut. She seems to be the source of his frustration. I lead Craig to the front door secretly not wanting him to go yet. "Don't work too hard." I give him a small smile.
"No such thing," he replies. "Text me okay."
"Are you sure?" I inquire.
"Yeah," he replies opening the door. "Just because we are mating doesn't mean we can't talk." We never did before this. I mean is he sure about this. "Don't worry Tweekers. I wouldn't ask if I didn't like you." He clears his throat. "You're different." I almost feel like my heart dropped out of my chest. "Later." He closes the door before I could even react.
"Wow…." says David causing me to turn around. I jump a little.
"Hey," I say softly. I twitch a little. David smirking folding his arms.
"No need to be all nervous," he replies. "I'm just surprised Craig is so…..a good alpha." This surprises me. How much does David know exactly? It's not like him and Craig spoke. He was in rut so chatting with another person outside of me wasn't something he cared about.
"You think so?" I inquire locking the door before walking over to David. He nods his head yes.
"I didn't hear your conversations or anything, but I did hear the one just now," he replies walking into the kitchen. "I'm about to have a burrito from the restaurant. You want?"
"I'm fine," I reply. "I'm going to have some soup. I mean why did you say that about Craig? You know about being a good alpha?" I'm curious to know does anyone see what I can. I'm really enjoying being with Craig. This feels different from when we dated in the 4th grade.
"It just sounds like he likes you," says David after much thought. "I'm not trying to put any ideas in your head." I feel this happiness deep down knowing that Craig may possibly like me. I certainly feel like this is deeper than just mating but I can't tell him that. I shrug it off trying to seem much calmer than I am.
"He is just doing what an alpha does," I reply. David puts his food in the microwave.
"So you're covered in his scent because…." He questions letting his voice trail off.
"He was in rut," I explain. "He feels better having my scent on him. You know how protective alphas are."
"I do," he admits. "However, once their rut is over, they are back to being normal. He asked you to text him." I begin to blush. That is true. Craig wants to have conversations with me now.
"Thank you for grabbing some stuff for us," I mumble changing the subject. David smirks probably knowing exactly what I did.
"Certainly," he replied. "I would have stayed with my parents if I wasn't sure if you guys had everything you need."
"I will be better prepared next time," I reply. "Craig did give money towards food." David raises an eyebrow.
"He did?" he asks.
"Yeah," I reply. "Two hundred at that."
"Class act," he replies. "Do you guys plan to mate here for your heats and his ruts? I know he still stays with his parents. God, I know I wouldn't want my parents to hear me mating." We both share a chuckle. I didn't even plan to mate him this time. It just happened. It was Craig's first rut with me since the first time at the mating center.
"I don't know," I reply. "We haven't really discussed that."
"Um, Leslie must have really pissed him off," says David leaning against the countertop.
"What do you know about Leslie?" I inquire. I see Leslie in passing but we don't talk. She is not the kind of person I like to have around me.
"Not much," he replies folding his arms. "She is still such a huge gossip as she was in elementary. I kind of know stuff about her I shouldn't even know to be honest. I know her and Craig aren't together. I guess they are more so friends with benefits. I overheard her with her girlfriends once at the restaurant once. Seems like she wants something more with him." I don't blame her. Craig has been great. David grabs his food.
"I see," I reply after a moment. David raises an eyebrow.
"It doesn't bother you that he sleeps with her?" he asks.
"Craig and I are mating for omega and alpha needs only," I reply. "Craig and I both agreed to use to the mating center so it wouldn't become too personal. Rather he is sleeping with her isn't my concern. We did save money by mating here."
"If you want to keep mating here, I don't care," he replies with a shrug. "Sounds like he made you um very happy." I blush deeply. Craig was very firm in me not keeping my voice in but since he was in rut I can understand why. His alpha needed to know I was pleased in every single way. It's not like I was heat but I get it. David chuckles bringing me from my thoughts.
"It almost feels wrong to hear that side of you," he replies.
"I know," I murmur covering my face. I don't think I will ever get use to this. "I'm too tired to go to the store today. I will probably go tomorrow."
"I don't blame you," says David with his plate beginning to walk towards his room. "Take it easy. I know you have to be super sore." That is an understatement. My body is aching, but I don't mind it. I head into my room deciding to call my parents and let them know how I am doing while I straighten up. I strip my sheets and bedding getting those into the wash before calling them.
"Hello," greets mom.
"Hey!" I exclaim putting on my headset. It makes it easier for me to move around for the most part.
"How are you?" asks mom. "I know you had to ask for the last two days off." I pretty much called out. I didn't tell her why.
"I had some things I needed to take care of," I reply carefully. "Everything is fine."
"Things like what?" she asks. "You never miss work. I know it isn't your heat."
"Mom….." I whine before going into my closet. I grab some clean sheets to put on the bed and another comforter. If I had the space, I would probably have hundreds of sheets and 50 comforters. I'm a fan of linens. Can never have enough.
"I'm not trying to pry," she says defensively. "I'm just concerned."
"Well, I'm fine," I reply. "There is nothing for you to worry about."
"Have you been eating?" she asks.
"Mom!" I exclaim.
"Okay, okay," she says trying to get me to calm back down. I frown as I begin to place the sheets on the bed. Mom tells me what I missed at work which isn't much. I can tell she missed having me there. I talk to dad for a little bit because he wanted to try out some new coffee blends wanting to introduce a new one for the fall. I feel guilty I am hiding a part of my life from my parents, but I can't help it. I might tell them one day. Well…..maybe not.
Author's Note: Sorry for the wait! Lost a team member, busy season at my job, holidays, and I am preparing to move. So much going on!
