"Well… ladies first." Tucker told Rin. Rin nodded before stepping forward into the Satou summer house. Tucker followed in moments later as the five of them were settling down. Tucker was looking around the modest house as he seemed to be curious about it. It looked like there wasn't much space for three people let alone five. Did they have any extra beds?

"This makes for a good place to be free to do art on your own relaxation. Something that Nomiya wouldn't allow." Rin explained. Hisao was on the couch as he was pretty tired, Lilly was showing Hanako her room and Tucker and Rin were pretty lost on what they were planning to do. Tucker waited for Lilly to return as he turned his head to Hisao. Lilly came back with Hanako, and all of their heads were looking at Hisao.

"Out cold, eh?" Lilly began. "Looks like he was pretty tired, I will get to say." Tucker smirked while Rin and Hanako giggled.

"Yeah, I think so." Rin told them. Tucker looked around, wondering about the situation regarding the summer house they were going to be spending the next few days in.

"So, what's the situation regarding me and Rin?" Tucker asked Lilly with curiosity. Lilly knew she had to say this.

"There isn't enough room for you two as Hanako has the bed, I have my parent's bed, we removed the pull out a while back so there goes the spare bed and Hisao is on the futon. Give me some time to think about where I can put you two but for now, feel free to romp around in the backyard. Don't go too far as I might have to call you from the porch once I find something for the two of you." Lilly explained that there wasn't enough room for them. She was going to take a few to figure out what she could do for them but for now, it was time for some fun.

Tucker and Rin headed outside and onto the porch, this was a good thing to do when there was company over. They both headed down the stairs and into the wheat field. Rin broke out ahead while Tucker swept beside her.

"I have seen a wheat field like this in my dream, coming after you." Tucker admitted to the first dream he had about Rin. Rin smiled before looking at Tucker.

"In the golden-brown stalks of wheat?" Rin asked. She felt the wheat brush up against her as this was something she truly enjoyed. "Wheat, dandelions, I don't know if there was an apple orchard in there as I don't see one."

"There was, we must've run pretty far." Tucker told Rin. Rin didn't bother speaking for a moment. As the moment passed them, Rin finally decided to speak.

Katawa Shoujo- Innocence

"Tucker." Rin began. Tucker looked at her as Rin opened her arms up to him and began speaking about her dream, she had a while back. "I had a similar dream when we ran through the wheat field and when we stopped, I said I wanted this moment to last forever. Well… I definitely do want this moment to last. Us standing out in the wheat field like this. The sun hitting our faces and having nothing around us." Rin described the perfect situation she wanted to frame in the moment of time. This moment right here. Tucker didn't know what to say about it. Eventually he began to speak.

"Rin… I… don't know what… I… want to… say… but… you're the butterfly that one is chasing after to seem to find out where it wants to go." Tucker finally blurted out as he compared Rin as a butterfly, flapping its wings. Rin knew she needed to tell the truth she had hidden away from their art teacher Shinichi.

"I don't want to do anything else painting related like staring at the blank canvases for years and unable to come up with any ideas to put on it. We might have an imagination but not being allowed to rest after each canvas and not being allowed to get the said rest would hurt a lot. It's the reason why I wasn't painting as much." Rin began, she knew that the art teacher was pushing her too hard. "He wants me to get into a prestigious art school but… I'm not ready and now I don't want to do it. And you seem to be right as butterflies and imagining stuff, chasing after to feel and then make something out of it is something that is always out of reach. I'm not happy with the life I'm heading down." Tucker looked at Rin as if he felt regret that Rin was being pushed into something she didn't want to be. Tucker decided to hug her.

"I know what it is to feel like you're cornered and not have any way out. Eleanor might be heading down that path to be like you Rin. But you're anything but stupid as she is. If worse comes to worse and Shinichi dissolves the club, we have fun in, I think we should just dump painting all together." Tucker told Rin while his friend was trying her best to collect her emotions. Tucker looked ahead as a small butterfly flapped its wings, Tucker knew it was something that Rin loved and held dearly to her. "Rin look! It's a butterfly." Tucker called out for her attention. Rin turned her head up to see the butterfly flap its delicate wings over them. Rin was astounded by this site.

"It sure is beautiful, I've always wanted one, but my parents said no and said that the butterflies should be left alone. I definitely want my butterfly toy collection with me in Yamaku… if my parents hadn't told me to grow up and pursue painting." Rin explained about her past to Tucker. Tucker seemed to be somewhat saddened over the fact that Rin didn't have her butterfly collection with her.

"I'm your butterfly, remember?" Tucker began speaking to Rin. He wanted to see how she really felt about him. "Even if I don't have delicate wings and consume sugar water all day, I'm just as delicate as one." Tucker tried his best to tell Rin that he was her favorite thing. Rin turned as she began to smile again.

"Oh right, the time I took all of that codeine. I think you had an antenna on your head too." Rin tried her best to describe her codeine experience. Tucker laughed a bit before he began speaking again.

"Too bad I can't fly even though you were the one flying." Tucker continued to tease. He didn't know if he could have the strength to lift and hold Rin in the air. Rin laughed as if his humor was rubbing off on her.

"You're silly at times." Rin commented about Tucker. "I want to continue to romp around in the field."

"Tucker, Rin?" Lilly called out if she was like their mother. "I've thought of a plan for the both of you." Tucker and Rin began to walk over to where Lilly was as she was standing outside on the back deck. Tucker and Rin climbed out of the wheat field and onto the deck.

"What's the plan, where are we staying?" Rin asked. She was having so much fun romping around in the field with Tucker that she forgot what they were doing.

"There is a hotel where you two can stay for a couple of days, we'll pay you a visit tomorrow when we decide to go exploring. It's a mile and a half away from this house so we'll drop by, and we'll go to the hobby shop." Lilly explained the possible plan she had for the both of them. Tucker and Rin nodded as they were curious to see where they were going to be located.

"Do we need to pay for the room?" Tucker asked if they needed to give the money to whoever ran the hotel so they could spend the night there. Lilly opened her mouth before placing a hand over it.

"I've paid it for you, you just need to hand the money over to them." Lilly explained to Tucker. "Oh, and I've decided to prepare dinner and it should be ready."

"Oh, thanks Lilly. I think we'd appreciate it." Tucker replied. Lilly nodded before she led them both into the house.

"You're welcome, since we didn't pack much food, we're most likely going to be eating packaged food that we purchased from the store a couple days before as it's easy to prepare." Lilly explained before she got out a few bowls with the help from Hanako. Hanako was serving the food as she handed the noodle soup out for them. "There is some for Hisao, but Hisao is asleep at the moment."

"All tired from the early morning huh?" Rin asked. Lilly nodded before smiling a bit.

"I guess you can say that." Lilly explained. The four of them sat down at the table and began to eat. The packaged noodles weren't good, but they were better than nothing.

"So where is this place?" Tucker asked, he too remained curious where they were going to go. Lilly knew she had to explain it to Tucker and Rin about where they were going to meet up if they were going to go somewhere else.

"The place is right near the spot I arranged the cab driver to drop you two off as it's just a walk to the corner, it's not that big of a hotel but something for you two to stay over until we go back." Lilly explained that they were going to be staying at a place that wasn't too far away from where they were going to be dropped off. "We'll meet you there tomorrow afternoon and then we'll look at the hobby shop together. I think you two will really enjoy this." Lilly explained that she had everything planned out. "The hobby shop shouldn't be too far from the hotel; a couple blocks walking distance and we'll have dinner at my place afterward."

"Sounds nice. Only a mile and a half walking distance, right?" Tucker asked Lilly if that was going to be the distance between the Satou summer residence and the spot they were getting dropped off at.

"Absolutely, we should be ready, and we'll give you the text when we're on our way." Lilly explained to Tucker about the plan. They both nodded.

"Yep. Plan will be put forth in motion." Tucker nodded. He needed the magazine if he was going to find the address of the hobby shop.

The hours grew later as the four of them continued to spend the rest of the evening hanging out, talking about various things: Reading, playing games of cards and chatting, not the most productive thing they could have done. As the sun touched the landscape, it was clear it was getting dark but enjoying the sunset was something they enjoyed truly. The clock read ten in the evening when there was movement from the futon. Hisao woke up.

"How long was I asleep for?" Hisao asked as he didn't know why it was dark out.

"You were out for quite a while, I guess you were tired." Tucker did his best to explain what happened to Hisao.

"Oh. Thanks for letting me know Tuck." Hisao explained to Tucker. Lilly walked over and she wanted to speak with Hisao.

"You've found the television, then." Lilly began speaking. She noticed that the television had been rattling on for several hours now and she knew it was late.

"Yeah. It really does feel nice and homey, here." Hisao admitted. Lilly smiled before she began speaking again.

"I'm glad you like it. You were already out like a light when we came back after unpacking our things, so we didn't have the heart to wake you earlier." Lilly expressed to Hisao that he fell asleep quickly. She giggled as she thought he must've sounded funny while he slept. Tucker and Rin looked at each other awkwardly before Hanako began speaking to Hisao.

"There's some dinner waiting for you in the kitchen..." Hanako softly told Hisao that they saved a bit of the dinner they had made for him. Hanako gives a deep yawn, only just remembering to cover her mouth at the last second. Lilly looked at Hanako before she began speaking. She knew where the sound came from.

"My my, are you tired?" Lilly asked Hanako. Hanako snapped her head to Lilly. Rin yawned as well as they were all pretty tired.

"Ah, mm. I didn't get much sleep last night." Hanako did her best to explain. Hisao began speaking next.

"I'm pretty tired too. It was a long walk up here, and it's getting late." Hisao explained to them. Lilly stood there while trying to think of what to do. She knew that Tucker and Rin couldn't stay as they had nowhere to have them sleep.

"If that's the case, I suppose we should retire for the night. Good night, Hisao." Lilly told Hisao before she began to walk away. Hanako looked at Hisao, smiling a bit and speaking again.

"Good night." Hanako sweetly told Hisao.

"'Night." Hisao yawned again with his words. He turned headed off to get the leftovers that Lilly made earlier today. Lilly meanwhile got out her phone and began to call someone. Tucker listened as the conversation was short and brief. He and Rin listened in briefly before Lilly hung up. She then looked at them.

"The cab will be coming shortly as I gave the location where the cab will be dropping you off. We will meet you there tomorrow afternoon when we walk down from here to the town. We will visit the hobby shop together before having dinner at the Satou summer house." Lilly explained to Tucker and Rin. She helped gather their things and began to escort them to the entrance of the residence. She was going to help load the cab while they went to their location. It was definitely dark outside, and the only light seemed to be the moon. The crickets were chirping in the air as it seemed to be a peaceful time to spend it with someone. A minute or so later, the cab would pull up as Lilly handed them the money for the hotel and for the cab rides. Tucker and Rin boarded the cab with him and Lilly packing their stuff away into the cab. Afterward, the cab began to pull away from the residence as Lilly waved them goodbye for now. It wasn't that far?

Katawa Shoujo- Letting my Heart Speak

"Tucky?" Rin began. Tucker turned his head to Rin; he was curious to see what she needed to talk to him about.

"What is it, Rin?" Tucker asked. Rin leaned in a little closer to him before resting her head on his shoulder.

"Thank you for today, we seemed to have fun while we were on the train. Hanako was a lot of fun as well. Sitting out in the fresh air and watching the countryside go by us. It made my day." Rin explained what she was thankful for. Tucker didn't respond as he seemed to blush nervously. "You're such a blusher." Rin commented on Tucker's blush.

"Yeah… I'd figure. I think you're still excited for tomorrow?" Tucker asked. Rin just cuddled up closer to him which Tucker strangely found that it was a good idea.

"I am, and we get to spend it with Hanako too." Rin added. Hanako was good company for the group, and they wanted to see what tomorrow would bring them.

"So, what do you expect to see in the hobby store?" Tucker asked for Rin to begin thinking above her imagination. Rin paused as she began to think about what she was going to see during her time at the shop. The thinking would go on for a minute before she began to speak.

"Everything under the sun. Big ones, small ones, long snakes, short stubby snakes like fingernails scurrying around like squirrels." Rin explained to Tucker what she was going to see in the hobby shop.

"Well, I brought some money with me if you wanted to purchase something. I only realized that I the money was going to be used for the shop, I didn't have enough for the hotel. Lilly was generous enough to give me some to pay for the room." Tucker explained that he had some cash for the shop but not enough for everything else.

"That's fine. As long as we have fun tomorrow, that's all that matters." Rin explained that fun was something she wished to have while they were at Hokkaido. Tucker began to think about what they were going to do. Maybe think of another game with playing cards. He reached over and wrapped the bad arm around Rin in the form of a hug.

"I hope we have a lot of fun tomorrow." Tucker explained to Rin. The cab came to a stop right at the spot that Lilly had told them to meet at. Tucker grabbed their belongings while Rin helped out by carrying her back with him. Rin was walking along beside him.

"I hope so too." Rin replied, they found the hotel that Lilly was talking about before they opened the door and walked inside. Rin walked up to them, and she began to speak to whoever was at the front desk. "One room for the two of us please." Rin began. The lady at the desk looked at them before she began to speak to them.

"How long?" She asked. "You two seem to be a little young to be wandering out here." She began speaking to them. Rin paused as she tried to remember how long they were going to be staying at the hotel.

"Two days." Rin told the lady. The lady at the desk began to think about it while Tucker slid the money for her. She took the money and opened the register; she then handed them their keys.

"Top floor." She told them. Tucker and Rin nodded.

"Thanks." Rin told the lady. They walked off to find their room.

Tucker and Rin found their room where the lady had told them, top floor and it was close to the elevator. Tucker took the key and inserted it into the door, turning the handle, he opened the door, and they walked inside. The room had a strange set up. There was their bed in the corner, the small living room like area with a small kitchen near the door. The bathroom was by the bed and the television had been awkwardly placed right in the middle between the couch and the bed.

"Well… this is where we'll be staying for the next couple of days." Tucker explained to Rin. Rin looked around before turning back to Tucker.

"I've had a tiring day so a good night's rest would serve me good." Rin admitted. She went over to the bathroom to get herself washed first while Tucker prepared the bed, when Rin came out of the bathroom, Tucker went in next, after cleaning himself, he went over to the bed where Rin had climbed into the bed. Tucker followed into the bed with Rin as they both ended up falling asleep. An exciting yet tiring day they both had accomplished.

"I hope tomorrow is as exciting as today?" Tucker asked. Rin draped one of her legs over Tucker while the latter was starting to fall asleep.

"I hope so too." Rin softly whispered to her friend. She rested her head on his neck and fell asleep on him. She was getting closer and closer to him.

[A/N]: A pretty short chapter that pretty much wraps up the events of the previous chapter. Does Rin have something in mind for Tucker? The next couple of chapters will express that need for what Rin is saying to him.

Let's also try hitting 500 views when the next chapter gets published. Doing two of these and one of the other as this one I find to be more fun to work on. I'll see you until then. See you later.
