"It's me," He voiced when he didn't get a response and soon heard her come in. Entering the room, Kakashi found Tsunade swamped with paperwork with Shikaku by her side. "Tsunade-sama, I hope you have been well,"

"You've insulted the Daiymo's family,"

"I can go have a conversation with them," Kakashi shrugged his shoulders, "I'm sure the Daiymo will understand and tell the Prince to step down,"

Shikaku picked up on Kakashi's easygoing manner. Not even the silver-haired man could remain so calm with the Daiymo's family unless he had weight. "You marked Naruto," Shikaku deduced and noticed Tsunade's face hardening. "You finally marked someone," Although Kakashi appeared nonchalant, Shikaku could feel the dangerous aura around the Hatake. Kakashi was already in protector mode. "Hokage-sama," Shikaku urged firmly.

Tsunade sighed, "Where is Naruto? She should be a part of this discussion,"

"She is resting at home. I'm here to speak on her behalf," Kakashi leaned back and cross his legs, "We've agreed to take our relationship slowly. We're both healing and I'm ready to rejoin the ranks,"

Tsunade picked up on Kakashi's tone. "The ranks?"

"ANBU," Kakashi nodded, "I'm ready to return."

"You were an alcoholic not too long ago. I can't trust you to rejoin those ranks," Tsunade said harshly.

"You trust Naruto," Kakashi pushed back, "You trusted her capabilities with my recovery which even Inoichi failed to do. I've also returned with the Hatake bloodline. ANBU is the best place for me to give back to Konoha and keep Naruto's suitors in line,"

"Ha~" Shikaku rubbed his forehead.

"Show me," Tsunade ordered. Her eyes widened at Kakashi's transformation. She had only heard words of what the unlocked Hatake bloodline achieved from Sakumo. Seeing it in person and feeling the powerful dominance thicken in the room told Tsunade enough. With a wave of her hand, Kakashi returned to normal, "I'll inform the Daiymo's family. The Daiymo will understand but the Prince will need some convincing."

"Naruto said she will write a letter," Kakashi's reply was stiff - containing his annoyance. Getting up, Kakashi felt their conversation was done. He was sure Tsunade and Shikaku wanted to talk more but politics wasn't really his thing. "One last thing, Hokage-sama. Naruto is mine. Anyone that approaches her with the intention to court her will take their last breath."

Tsunade and Shikaku knew the consequences of a Hatake taking a mate. It was suicide to approach their intended with romantic feelings. "I will order Sasuke to stand down," Tsunade said calmly. She knew his message was directly aimed at the Uchiha. "Get lost,"

Kakashi didn't wait for a second and flew out the window to be with Naruto.

Tsunade rubbed her pulsing temple as Shikaku rubbed his stiff neck. "When do you think we can expect a wedding?" Shikaku asked, "Everyone's been waiting for them to get together but you don't look pleased,"

"It's just my belief that nobody is good enough for Naruto," Tsunade smirked, "Not even that damn Prince." She tapped the files nearby. It was filled with the most attractive women in Konoha who she paid to seduce the Prince and distract him during his visit. "I heard Sakumo's Great Grandmother burned a small village down when the then-Daiymo's daughter kidnapped her beloved." Shikaku voiced with Tsunade nodding, confirming the rumours. "I see. It wouldn't do good for a repeat in history."

"There were no survivors," Tsunade organised the paperwork, "Let's not repeat that. Also, knowing Naruto she will want a small ceremony with close friends."

"That sounds right up Kakashi's alley too,"

"I give it a year before they tie the knot,"

Upon arriving home, Kakashi found Naruto in a deep sleep and quietly slid into bed next to her. No doubt rumours would spread about their relationship from the loose ears that were by Tsunde's door. When their friends decide to confront them, Kakashi was more than prepared to put them all in their place or welcome them. "Then," Kakashi licked his lips, "I won't stop next time. Even when you come into my head again, I won't listen to you. I'll indulge in everything with Naruto."

Kurama could only chuckle, "You brave brat," He dismissed the Hatake and decided to have a nap now that the cloud of insecurity disappeared.

Opening his eyes, Kakashi smiled when he found Naruto awake, looking at him. "Get some more sleep,"

"You spoke with Kurama?" Naruto woke up the second she felt her connection with Kurama gets blocked.
