Grace made her way down to the bleachers after The Singsations practice and waited for Quinn and Finn to be done with their practices. She knew Cheerios practice usually lasted a long time, so she continued to reread their summer reading book wanting to get everything right with the impending test that Friday. She continuously heard Sue insulting the squad, calling out various Cheerios for their lackluster performance, something she swore she could never get into and never understood why Quinn loved it so much. Sure, Grace was also athletic and took the same gymnastics classes that Quinn did but the way Sue talked to the Cheerios wasn't something she thought she could handle.

Football practice wrapped up sooner than the Cheerios one did which was fairly typical. Coach Tanaka wasn't very dedicated to the football program leading to a fairly lackluster performance the year prior with the Titans only winning one game. "Hey," Finn said as he sat beside Grace who was finishing up her book.

"Hi," she smiled softly, greeting him before going back to reading.

Finn then watched Quinn leading the squad in the routine "Isn't she amazing?" he asked in awe.

"I guess so," Grace shrugged, not looking up from her book. Finn, however, didn't react but continued to watch Quinn.

"Mediocre. Hit the showers," Sue finally said, ending practice, much to Finn and Grace's relief since they had been sitting there for at least another hour.

Quinn approached Finn kissing him in the bleachers "Hey handsome. You were watching?" she smiled softly.

"Are you kidding? Of course I was, practice ended and I always love to see my girl leading the squad," Finn smiled softly back at her as they kissed again.

"I'm all sweaty," she giggled, trying to pull away.

"I don't mind," he said as Grace rolled her eyes.

Quinn continued to giggle "I need to shower and then we can leave," she assured him and Grace.

"Great. Take your time," Grace said slightly sarcastically as Quinn scowled at her before heading off to shower.

"I probably should go too...you know now that Quinn's done," Finn said, rubbing the back of his neck.

"Go ahead, you'll probably be back before she is," Grace said, knowing her sister all too well.

"Cool," Finn grinned as he headed off to the locker room to shower.

Grace had long since finished her book and was instead trying to work on her homework while she waited for Finn and Quinn. Some of the assignments however, she knew she needed a computer for and was incredibly anxious to head home. It was times like these when she wished their parents had gotten them each a car but of course with Quinn being her father's favorite, he had given the car mainly to her with the stipulation that she had to drive Grace to school every day. Though the twins were only 7 minutes apart, with Quinn being born earlier, Quinn got most of the privileges of being the older sibling while Grace didn't.

As Grace called it, Finn was back first. "She's still not back yet?" Finn said surprised.

"Don't be so surprised Finn, you might be dating her but I live with her. She's particular about always looking her best, no matter what. She's probably doing her hair and makeup now," Grace said simply as Finn sighed, also seeming to want to get home.

"I guess I could try to do my homework," Finn said as he took out his binder which was already bursting at the seams with papers.

"Did you just stuff all your papers in one place?" Grace giggled.

"Yeah? Isn't that what you're supposed to do?" Finn said, confused.

"Not at all," Grace laughed, shaking her head "Come on why don't we organize your things so you can find them easier."

Finn nodded as he let Grace take over as she seemed to easily organize everything. "There. Now you'll be able to find the papers, especially the ones your mom needs to sign," Grace said as Finn seemed relieved.

"Thanks for your help Grace, my mom will be so happy she doesn't have to search for those papers this year," Finn grinned.

"Anytime," Grace giggled, shaking her head as Quinn finally walked out, looking just so.

"Let's get going," she said, simply taking Finn's hand as they headed for her car with Grace trailing behind them as they headed into Quinn's car to head home.

Quinn dropped Finn off as she always did after school with the two engaging in a long kiss goodbye, neither wanting to leave each other. Grace tried to tune them out and finish up on whatever assignments she could on the ride home. Once Finn headed inside, the twins headed back to Fabray manor.

"Don't give me that look," Quinn huffed, annoyed.

"What look?" Grace asked, making a face.

"That judgemental look you get about me and Finn," Quinn said simply as Grace sighed.

"Look, I know you two are in love and everything but you do realize I have to ride with you two," Grace said.

"Only because Daddy made me promise to drive you," Quinn said coolly "If that wasn't the case, you'd be looking for another ride or worse taking the bus." Grace rolled her eyes at her sister's clear disdain for riding the bus.

"Look, I appreciate you being my ride, I do but when I have to wait 3 hours after school for not only Cheerios practice but for you to shower and get ready afterwards, it puts my entire schedule behind," Grace said.

"Oh no, you won't be able to read tonight, whatever will you do?" Quinn said mockingly as Grace rolled her eyes.

"It's not about that. It's about needing to get this thing called my homework done," Grace said.

"And then what are you going to do after?" Quinn asked somewhat tauntingly.

"I don't know, probably rehearse for my upcoming ballet recital," Grace shrugged.

"Well at least that's something worth doing," Quinn said honestly.

"That's not for you to decide," Grace fought back with her sister, sighing "Look, I know I make some judgments about how you spend your time.."

"Yeah like how you basically told me I wasted my summer partying at Santana's. You have no idea what goes into it," Quinn said upset.

"I know...and I'm sorry. I just remember how awful the popular crowd was to you back in..." Grace began.

"Don't. Okay. Don't ever talk about that time in my life," Quinn said quickly shutting her sister down "I've moved on and have grown. I'm the captain of the Cheerios and I am never going back to being Lucy Caboosey."

"I know you're not but you didn't need to become one of them," Grace said, upset as Quinn shrugged.

"You just don't get it, status is everything Grace. You can get away with a lot more when you're popular," Quinn said seriously.

"But is it worth losing yourself over?" Grace asked as Quinn shrugged.

"I haven't completely lost myself. I still volunteer at the church and president of the celibacy club. Those two things that are still very important to me, my faith and saving myself," Quinn said simply, even though one of those wasn't true anymore.

"And I applaud you for that, for both of those things really. I mean who was the first person to sign up for the celibacy club when you put up the sheet?" Grace asked.

"You were," Quinn said softly, smiling at her sister.

"Yes, I was. And I will always support you, no matter what, okay?" Grace said to Quinn who nodded.

"Okay," she smiled softly "Thanks Grace."

"You're welcome," Grace smiled softly back at her sister as their bond was slowly but surely getting back to where it should be.
