The first week of school seemed to breeze by as things were fairly normal for both Quinn and Grace but Quinn had been getting increasingly more nervous, her period had never been this late before. She knew she had royally messed up over the summer when she stupidly let Puck walk her home from Santana's after the first party to celebrate the official start to summer on June 22nd.

It was the first time that Quinn had ever drank. She hadn't been to a lot of parties with upper classmen prior to the start of her freshman year but she had found most of the parties ended up with some sort of alcohol. At first, Quinn had refused to drink thinking it was something God would frown upon her doing so but as she saw how most people reacted to her not drinking at a party, she decided at that summer bash to finally let loose and drink. She got into a huge fight with Finn about it that night.

"Drinking, are you crazy?" Finn said, grabbing the cup off her.

"Give it back!" Quinn slurred trying to reach for it but she couldn't being that Finn was so tall.

"I thought you said you didn't even want to drink," Finn said, upset.

"I don't. I just can't be the only one not drinking," Quinn said simply as Finn shook his head.

"Unbelievable. You're just doing it to try to fit and be cool. That's not the girl I fell in love with," Finn said upset.

"Oh please, you do the exact same thing helping the other guys toss losers into dumpsters. Face it Finn, we both want to be on top," Quinn said drunkenly. Finn knew she had a point, he had to do things he didn't want to do to try to fit in with the team.

"That's different. They were hazing me if I didn't do what they said," Finn frowned.

"No it's not! We're at a party. We're supposed to have fun," Quinn protested.

"Not like that, we're not," Finn said simply as he tried to take Quinn out to leave.

"Let me go!" Quinn exclaimed, upset as she pulled away from him.

"Fine...find another way home I don't care!" Finn exclaimed back as he stormed out of the party as Quinn watched him leave, clearly upset.

After that, Puck had made his move, he was charming to Quinn that night. She trusted him because he was Finn's best friend, figuring he could never do anything to hurt her. She didn't realize how wrong she was until she had found him climbing on top of her that night, starting to kiss her.

"What are you doing?!" Quinn exclaimed, sitting up on her bed.

"What does it look like I'm doing?" Puck smirked back at her.

"Finn is your best friend," Quinn yelled at him, clearly upset by this.

"So?" Puck said.

"So why the hell are you trying to kiss his girlfriend?" Quinn said, upset.

"Because I've wanted to do that for so long, Quinn. Come on now, Finn doesn't get you like I do. I want all the same things you do," Puck said, trying to sweet talk her into things.

"Do you now? Like what?" Quinn asked.

"Like ruling the school with an iron fist, I could make all the losers do whatever I want on fear alone," Puck smirked.

"Hmm...I like the sound of that, keep talking," Quinn said, seeming more at ease about it as Puck moved closer to her and Quinn did the same to him.

"And I'd never let anyone call you fat," Puck said as Quinn looked worried.

"Who says I'm fat?" Quinn asked, clearly thinking back to her days when she was called 'Lucy Caboosey'.

"Just some of the stupid Cheerios who don't know what a great bod you have," Puck smirked running his hand along it as Quinn wanted to prove to him that she definitely wasn't fat, doing exactly what she shouldn't have done and started to makeout with him, laying back on on her bed.

The two of them were pretty hot and heavy with the making out with their clothes quickly coming off. Puck was down to his wife beater and boxers and Quinn was only wearing her Cheerios uniform, still unsure about getting undressed as she felt Puck's hand run up her thigh to take off her panties she jumped up.

"I can't do this," she said seriously.

"Sure you can," Puck said as he tried to hand her a wine cooler "Have another wine cooler."

"I'm president of the Celibacy Club, I took a vow," Quinn tried to protest.

"So did Santana and Brittany," Puck said, "and I did them."

"What about Finn?" Quinn asked seriously. "He's your best friend."

Puck looked away from her for a second, thinking about it. "Come on," he replied, "we're in high school. You think either one of us is gonna give a damn about Finn in three years?" He moved in slightly, his body more on top of hers. "Life's just a bunch of experiences, you know? You don't get a medal at the finish line for being good. You just get dead." Quinn seemed to think about it for a bit, maybe she needed to rethink the whole 'good girl' image she had tried to portray, maybe being bad was what she needed to do.

"Okay but you can't tell anybody, I can't lose my rep," Quinn said seriously, knowing her good girl image was something she needed to protect...at least for now.

"Our secret, baby," Puck assured her as he went in to kiss her again. Quinn quickly stopped him, worried about what could happen.

"What about protection?" she asked cautiously

"I got it, trust me," Puck told her seriously as Quinn had no reason to not believe him.

Before things went any further, Puck pulled away, something Quinn was confused by "This isn't just another hook-up for me," Puck said looking deep into Quinn's eyes, something that at the time had felt so genuine to her. He then went back to kissing her neck.

"Tell me one more time," she whispered breathlessly.

"You're not fat," Puck said as they proceeded to make love that night.

Up until recently, Quinn hadn't thought much about it. From the moment it happened, she knew she had messed up. She wanted to tell Finn the truth but since Puck assured her he had protection, what was the worst that could happen? The possible pregnancy was looming over her head and just the thought of it terrified her. For starters, what was she going to tell Finn if it was true? She hadn't slept with him and had in fact stopped things from going any further than second base between them. She had felt so ashamed of sleeping with Puck that she didn't want to give herself fully to Finn until she told the truth but she was so scared of losing him and of losing everything she had worked so hard to maintain, her popularity, her perfect boyfriend, and her friends who might turn on her if they knew she was preaching abstinence but had sex with the school's womanizer. To say the least, Quinn was freaking out and the later her period hadn't come, the more likely it was that she was pregnant.

"Everything okay Q?" Grace asked, noticing her sister's far away look. Quinn started to tear up, shaking her head.

"Gracie...have you gotten your period yet?" Quinn asked nervously as Grace nodded

"Yeah I had it a week ago why?" she asked, confused as Quinn started to sob.

"You didn't!" Grace gasped covering her mouth, realizing her sister and Finn must have had sex.

"Shh...please keep your voice down," Quinn whispered emotionally.

"Sorry...I'm just surprised. I mean now that I think about it, you and Finn have gotten closer over the summer but I never thought it was because of that," Grace whispered back to her sister who still had tears streaming down her face.

"I'm so scared Gracie...what am I going to do if I'm pregnant," Quinn muttered under her breath.

"Look, we don't know for sure that you are...how late are you?" Grace asked as Quinn sighed.

"Really late...like 2 weeks late," Quinn said emotionally. Grace bit her lip, that didn't sound promising.

"Okay and how long ago did you two.." Grace asked.

"Like the start of summer," Quinn said nervously.

"So you had your period last month?" Grace asked as Quinn nodded.

"It was kind of lighter than usual but yeah I did have my period," Quinn said as Grace sighed.

"Quinnie...I think you're pregnant," Grace said seriously as Quinn sobbed even harder.

"That can't be possible, we used protection," Quinn argued.

"Condoms are only effective 98% of the time.." Grace said.

"Oh my God...I'm in the 2%," Quinn sobbed again as Grace rubbed her back.

"It's going to be okay...maybe we should get you a home pregnancy test," Grace said softly.

"Are you crazy? I can't take that here!" Quinn exclaimed.

"You can find somewhere else to take it Quinn," Grace said seriously "You really need to know the truth."

"But what if I don't want to know?" Quinn said simply as Grace gave her a look.

"Quinn, that could be really bad for the baby. I mean I don't know what you want to do, if you want to keep it..." Grace began.

"Of course I'm going to keep it! I'm not a monster. I won't get an abortion," Quinn hissed at her sister.

"Okay! No need to bite my head off about it. I was just saying either way, you need to find out," Grace said seriously as Quinn sighed, knowing her sister was right.

"Fine but you have to buy the test," Quinn said simply.

"What? Why do I have to buy it?" Grace scoffed.

"Because if people see me getting a pregnancy test they're going to talk about it and I'm going to lose my rep before homecoming! I need to win queen," Quinn said upset as Grace sighed.

"Fine. I'll buy the stupid test but this is the last thing I'm doing for you, okay. After this you have to figure this out. I can't always cover for you Quinnie," Grace said seriously as Quinn sighed, knowing her sister had a point.

"I know...I can handle the rest on my own, I just don't want the school thinking I'm a fraud," Quinn frowned.

"I know," Grace said, squeezing her sister's hand "Come on, let's get to the store before school." Quinn nodded as they headed to her car, stopping at the first pharmacy they saw.

Grace, as she promised she would do, headed inside grabbing a pregnancy test off the shelf. She looked around hoping not to see anyone she recognized but of course Lima being the small town that it was, she was spotted by Mercedes. "Hey girl! What are you doing here?" Mercedes greeted her.

"Hey 'Cedes. I was just picking up something," Grace said, trying to quickly hide the pregnancy test but Mercedes noticed, but didn't let on that she did.

"Okay girl, I'll let you get back to shopping, see you at practice," Mercedes said letting Grace go, who seemed relieved that she wasn't peppered with questions.

"Yeah see you," Grace smiled softly, rushing to the self-checkout counter to get the test.

As Grace turned away Mercedes quickly got on the phone with Kurt. "Hey, you are not going to believe who I spotted buying a pregnancy test," Mercedes said into the phone as Kurt was on the other line at his father's tire shop, getting ready for school.

"Ooh do tell. You know I can't resist some juicy gossip," Kurt said excitedly.

"It's Grace," Mercedes said.

"Our Grace?" Kurt said, shocked.

"Mhmm..who the hell has she been with? I mean I don't even remember her having a boyfriend...or even a crush," Mercedes said seriously.

"I know...I mean you would think she would've told us," Kurt said shaking his head before suggesting "Maybe she met a boy at theater camp."

"That could be it. I mean they had a no phone policy there," Mercedes said, seeming to think this could be possible, but why wouldn't she have told them about it.

"That has to be it," Kurt exclaimed.

"That is a hot damn mess," Mercedes said, shaking her head.

"You're telling me," Kurt said shaking his head "I've got to go, maybe we can talk more when we get to school."

"Mhmm. See you then boo," Mercedes smiled as she and Kurt hung up, wanting more answers from Grace about who the father of 'her' child could be.

Quinn was relieved when Grace walked out with the test. "Took you long enough!" Quinn exclaimed.

"I'm sorry. I ran into Mercedes," Grace sighed.

"What? She's like the biggest school gossip!" Quinn said, upset.

"I know...but she's also my friend and didn't seem to notice the test, so relax, nothing is going to be out there about this, okay," Grace assured her sister who sighed relieved.

"Thank God," Quinn said as she hid the pregnancy test in her Cheerios bag, before driving them to pick up Finn, trying to keep her nerves under control. Hoping he wouldn't get suspicious in the least.
