Meanwhile, Quinn ran Cheerios practice with an iron fist, making sure everything was perfect as they practiced their routine for the classic, hoping they could move onto regionals, something they were very much favored to do. She tried to put her worries and fears out of her mind about the pregnancy. She knew if the test was accurate she at least had a few months before she started to show and she was going to do everything she could to keep it under wraps until she couldn't deny it anymore. She also tried to focus on homecoming which was in 2 weeks. It was not only the most high stakes game of the season but she was favored to win Queen and Finn was favored to win King, those were things she wanted more than anything. She knew if she wanted to have a future, this was the type of thing colleges would look at. If she wasn't pregnant, she knew she had a real shot of getting out of there. Yale had always been the dream for her. It was Ivy League and one of the most prestigious schools in the country. She knew her father would take a bit of convincing to let her be so far away, but she figured it wasn't anything she couldn't handle. She knew more than anything her father liked to brag, particularly about his daughters' accomplishments and if Quinn could get into an Ivy League school, she knew her family would have any of the other families in this forsaken cowtown beat and that was something she was banking on.
As practice ended Quinn rushed over to an enthusiastic Finn who was watching from the bleachers cheering his girlfriend on. She kissed him softly.
"You were amazing out there," Finn told her seriously.
"Thanks," Quinn grinned, blushing a bit as she pulled away "Listen Gracie, headed out with some friends so it's just going to be us today."
"That's awesome," Finn grinned, a little too excited to finally have some 'alone time' in the car with Quinn.
"Yeah it is. Maybe we could make use of that time," Quinn said with a leading smile, knowing how much further things might go and at this point, she was almost okay with it.
"I'd like that," Finn nodded looking into her eyes.
"See you after I shower handsome," Quinn said flirtatiously as she turned away, knowing she had to look her best for him.
Finn watched her leave feeling his heart race, glad that they finally would get some time alone. Though, he wasn't expecting things to go much further than the last few times they had been alone. Anytime his hands wandered past her waist, Quinn tended to pull away. He wasn't surprised by it though, he knew how much her faith and being celibate until they were married meant to her. He just tended to get incredibly frustrated by it and hoped one day, she would be okay with letting him go all the way.
The two met up after their respective showers then headed off to Quinn's car with Quinn driving Finn home, like usual. They held hands in the car throughout the drive, both seeming to look forward to arriving. As they pulled up to Finn's house, Quinn parked the car and quickly unbuckled her seat belt. Finn smiled as he pulled Quinn onto his lap and the two started to kiss passionately, which quickly turned into another heated makeout session between them.
Unlike the last few times, as Finn's hands began to wander to her butt, Quinn let him touch her and didn't pull away. Something that surprised Finn but he didn't want to stop her from going forward. He squeezed her ass gently causing Quinn to moan softly in his ear, something that clearly turned him on.
"It's okay," she whispered in his ear, feeling his erection pressing up against her.
"Are you sure," he whispered back as Quinn nodded looking into his eyes.
"Very sure," she said seriously as they continued to makeout.
"Maybe we should move to the back..it's getting kind of tight up here," Finn mumbled as Quinn nodded, climbing off his lap and into the backseat effortlessly, with Finn following behind her quickly.
The two resumed their makeout session as Quinn was on top of Finn, her body pressed up against his through her uniform. It was the furthest the two had ever gone with Quinn for the first time feeling okay with it, though her guilt seemed to be setting in the further into things they got. Tell him. Was all she could hear echoing through her mind as she pulled away, tearing up as she did so.
Finn quickly sat up noticing how upset Quinn had gotten and fast. "Hey," He said, rubbing her back trying to comfort her "Did I do something wrong? If I pushed you too much I'm sorry."
"No...you didn't," Quinn said wiping her eyes "It's just...my first time is really important to me and I really want to be special...not just done in my car."
"I get it...maybe I can save some money, we can get a nice motel room or something," Finn offered as that couldn't help but make Quinn feel even worse.
"That's really sweet...but I don't want you spending the money on me...maybe we can go to my place, you know when my parents are out of town," she offered, wanting to somehow feel less guilty about it.
"That sounds great," Finn smiled softly, continuing to rub her back as Quinn smiled up at him.
"Thank you for being so understanding...I'm sorry for leading you on," she apologized.
"Hey, it's okay...I mean we're getting there. I know all this waiting stuff isn't exactly easy for me but you're worth it Quinn," Finn told her seriously as another tear streamed down Quinn's face, hating what she had done even more.
She quickly kissed his lips softly, wrapping her arms around him. As she pulled away she pressed her forehead against his. "You are so sweet. Just know no matter what happens, I love you so much," Quinn told him, seriously meaning it.
"And I love you too, so much," Finn assured her as they gave each other one last kiss goodbye before Finn headed back inside his house.
As Quinn watched him leave, tears continued to stream down her face, realizing what a huge mess of things she had truly made of things. Not only just because she was likely pregnant, but because she had cheated on her incredibly trusting boyfriend who had always made her feel worth more than she thought she was. She truly loved Finn and hated that in her drunken mind, she had made it okay to cheat on him. She knew she had to tell him eventually, before things went any further, but she was so terrified of losing him and that thought scared her even more than continuing to lie. She just had to figure out the right time to be honest, she just didn't know when that would be.
