OH MY GOSH, 942 READS? You guys are amazing, and I can't believe that you guys are loving this story so much, it really makes my heart warm!
Moon placed Gregory down, and took a seat on the front desk. "Her name is Vanny."
"Vanny?" Amy asked. "What kind of a name is that?"
"She's working with William, she's made this... this glitch!" Moon threw his arms up as he spoke. "It messes with us, makes us into monsters... I don't know what she wants, but she's after you." He pointed to Gregory.
"What did I do?" He asked.
"It's not about what you did, but who you are." Moon replied.
"What does that mean?" Gregory asked.
Moon sighed, and picked up Luna. "It doesn't matter now. What matters is that it's unsafe for you to be here." He looked at the young girl. "All of you..."
"Wait, back up." Amy said. "William? You mean Afton? Isn't he dead?"
"Do you know how many times he's died?" Moon asked. "Remnant is all he needs to survive. It's what makes us, us. Animatronics aren't meant to be sentient."
"So you're telling me, this remnant stuff makes you guys think?" Gregory asked.
Moon sighed, knowing he dug himself into a hole he wouldn't be able to get out of. Just as he was about to explain, a noise came from the ball pit. "Oh no, Vanessa..!" Amy whispered harshly. "Moon, get us out of here, please!"
Moon scooped up the three and jumped into the shadows. Vanessa turned on the lights, but saw nothing.
"Dammit." She said. "Where the hell are you?"
Coming up main area, Moon placed the group down, before changing back into Sun. "I'll call Freddy." Gregory said, pushing a button on his Fazwatch.
"Amy, listen." Sun said. "This night isn't going to be easy. All of these glitches and the secrets of the Pizzaplex. You know it first hand." Amy looked over her shoulder to see Freddy standing with Gregory and Luna.
"Sun... If this is a glitch, then why-"
"Amy, come on, we need to leave." Freddy called as Gregory climbed into the stomach hatch.
Amy sighed, looking at her Fazwatch. "12:45am... About 5 hours till the doors open again." Amy looked at Sun. "I want to be able to call you guys whenever I need to."
"But the glitch-" Sun started.
"Forget the glitch, Sun." Amy glared. "I'll figure something out, I promise." She pushed a few buttons on her Fazwatch. "Let's see if it works."
Pushing a small moon and sun icon, the Fazwatch beeped. A different tone than when Gregory summoned Freddy, but it still worked. Sun had a small shiver down his endo and became excited.
"Oh, now that will get me moving!" Sun said happily.
"Perfect. Whenever I push this button, it means that I need one of you two to come and protect us. I'm counting on you." Amy left Sun and ran over to Freddy.
Chica walked across the pizzaplex. "Gregory..." She hummed out. Within her, she felt like she was screaming so loud, but no one could hear her. She knew she wasn't in control of her actions, and that's what scared her. Being trapped in this robots, and forced to do unspeakable things.
The originals, Freddy, Chica, Bonnie and Foxy, had all come here together. However, Foxy was better off in his own section, having a new cove to hang out with the kids. Bonnie had been destroyed by Monty, well, kind of. It wasn't Monty's fault, but his drive to be the center of attention and the push of the Afton Glitch, was enough to send him into over drive and completely destroy Bonnie. They had forgiven the gator, but the pain that it had caused them was real.
As the chicken walked around the pizzaplex, she could sense Vanny close by. This caused her to feel the effect of the glitch even stronger, forcing any sane thoughts from her mind.
Freddy stopped in a hallway. "We need to get to a recharge station. My battery is low."
"There's one over here, come on, Freddy." Amy said, running Freddy over.
Freddy stepped into the station, Gregory still inside the stomach hatch. Luna and Amy stood outside, keeping watch. Hearing something approach, both girls ran behind the fountain, hiding from view.
Gregory watched as a white bunny with stitch marks skipped down the hallway. It caused his vision to blur, and a weird noise to be heard from within. TV static was the best way to describe it. "What was that?" He asked the bear.
"That is a fountain." Freddy replied.
"No, the bunny! Didn't you see it?" How could the bear of missed it. Gregory was able to see it through the monitor in the stomach hatch, so how come Freddy couldn't? "You saw it, right Amy?"
"Y-Yeah..." Amy said. On the other side of the fountain, Amy was holding her head, trying to get the static noise to stop.
Luna ran over to the recharge station to get Freddy, who quickly opened the stations door, and ran over.
"My battery is not yet full, but I think your sister is not well." He said to the younger girl. "Gregory, come out." Freddy's hatch opened, allowing the boy to jump out. "Amy, talk to me." Freddy knelt down, as Amy was still sitting on the floor.
Amy looked at Freddy, one eye purple. The bear gasped, picking up and shoving Luna into the stomach hatch, and throwing Gregory over his shoulder. "Run, Freddy!" Amy said, feeling herself slip out of control. She ripped the Fazwatch off of her wrist, and threw it into the stomach hatch with her sister.
Luna watched in horror, clinging to the Fazwatch. "I love you so much, Luna." Amy gave a weak smile, and then started to scream in pain. Freddy's stomach hatch closed, and he ran through the Pizzaplex. Gregory clung onto Freddy's shoulder for dear life as the animatronic dashed through the mall like building. Down the stairs, up the stairs, left, right.
"Freddy, I think I'm gonna be sick!" Gregory whined.
"Sorry, Superstar, but we need to get as far away from her as possible!" The bear stopped in front of Bonnie Bowl. "This should do the trick." He said, as the shutter opened, allowing him to step inside.
Freddy placed Gregory down at a booth, and then opened the stomach hatch, allowing Luna to slowly climb down into a seat. The bear looked at the pictures of Bonnie scattered over the area.
"Freddy?" Gregory asked the sad looking bear.
"I... Don't come up here anymore. I miss him... So much." Freddy looked down at the tile.
"Him?" Luna asked, pointing to a picture of Freddy and a purple rabbit. "That's Bonnie, right?"
"Yes..." Freddy's eyes scanned the other pictures. "You know..." He started, not sure if the kids were even listening. "I was with Bonnie for the longest time. He was my very best friend. We did everything together. I never told him, how much I loved him."
"Loved him?" Gregory asked, confused. "Is he gone?"
"Yes." Freddy's voice became sad. "Monty... Destroyed him. It was an accident."
"Seems like everyone wants to destroy me, too." Gregory said, resting his head in his hands.
"Well... Not everyone." Came a new voice. Freddy's ears twitched.
"It can't be..." He said, daring not to look.
"It can be, and it is." There was a pause. "Superstar."
Gregory and Luna both leaned back, to look past Freddy, and towards the broken purple animatronic. What should of been a purple bunny looked to be a smashed up, chunk of purple metal with one rabbit ear and one broken rabbit ear. His eyes still shone red, with a pink star around one eye, similar to Freddy's face design.
Finally, Freddy turned around to face his long lost friend, not able to take it any longer. Upon seeing the broken rabbit, Freddy instantly ran over, grabbing him and holding him tightly. "Bonnie!" He said, his voice box imitating the sound of him crying. "How I've missed you, old friend."
"I've missed you too, Freddy." Bonnie said, hugging him back with one arm. "Sorry, my other arm doesn't work anymore."
"But, wait." Freddy let go of him. "Why are you up here?"
"Well, why are you up here? You said it yourself, you never come up here anymore." The bunny rolled his eyes.
"I'm protecting them." Freddy turned to face the children.
"Hi." Gregory waved.
"Hi, Mr. Bonnie!" Luna smiled.
"Wait, is that Luna?" Bonnie asked, excitedly. "She's gotten so big, wow! Hey Superstar!" The bunny took a shaky step forward, before stopping. "Huh... It's pretty difficult to walk around like this, not gonna lie."
"Then stop walking, and rest." Freddy's voice became sad once again. "I can't lose you. Not again. This time without you has been hard enough."
"Freddy, listen. I know you can't see her, but Vanny-"
"I know." Freddy cut his friend off. "I know what is happening, but I can't do anything to stop it, Bonnie."
"Well, there is some things you can do." Bonnie gave a smile. "If you have a Superstar willing to help us out." Their gaze went to Gregory, who looked up at them both.
"Who, me?" He asked, confused.
"There's a room under the main stage, called parts and service. If we can get there, we can look into fixing me up, and getting Freddy some upgrades. The reason all the others can see Vanny, is because they've all been upgraded." Bonnie said. "Well, that, and the glitch."
"What about Amy?" Luna asked, sadly. "Her eye went purple!"
"That would mean she's been effected by the glitch too. Animatronics don't have a lot of say in their programming so-" Bonnie noticed Freddy waving his hands back and fourth with a 'shut up or I'll kill you' gesture.
"Wait..." Gregory said. "Amy is an animatronic?"
A loud sigh came from Freddy. "You just had to say something." He said to the rabbit.
"Oh yeah, tell the decommissioned animatronic he should know better." Bonnie said, sarcastically. "Real nice, Fred."
"But if Amy is an animatronic, why does she look so human?" Gregory asked. Bonnie looked at Freddy who was giving him a 'don't you dare' look.
"Sometimes..." Bonnie started, choosing his words carefully. "Animatronics are made for other reasons."
"But Amy bleeds, and eats, and drinks." Luna said. "How can she be an animatronic?"
"They are very high tech." Freddy chimed in. "The creator of her specific model has made many animatronics that are very realistic."
"This is all too much." Gregory shook his head. "Let's get back to our mission. Finding parts and service, getting you upgrades, and fixing Bonnie." Gregory stood up. "Ready, Freddy?"
"Ready, Superstar." Freddy opened his stomach hatch, allowing Gregory inside.
"Wow, can't believe he fits in there." Bonnie said.
"Well, just barely." Freddy smiled at his old friend. "Watch Luna for us in the mean time, we'll be back." Freddy stood at the shutter, allowing it to open. "Oh, and Bonnie." Freddy turned back to his friend, and smiled. "I love you."
"I love you too." The purple rabbit smiled as his friend walked outside, leaving him there with the young girl. "I love you too..." He whispered to himself.
