Grace arrived home seeming disheartened. "Hey, how was going to the performance?" Quinn asked, noticing her sister's distant look and becoming concerned as Grace sighed.

"They were phenomenal. I mean just everything about their performance was top notch Quinnie, I just don't know how we can compare. We don't even have enough members," Grace frowned, shaking her head.

"Well there's 6 of you right? You're halfway there," Quinn offered, trying to be supportive.

"I guess but Glee Club isn't exactly cool, I don't know anyone else who'd want to join," Grace said simply as Quinn sighed.

"If it wouldn't ruin my rep, you know I'd try to help support you," Quinn said seriously as Grace bit her lip. It was at that moment Grace wondered if she should tell Quinn the truth, that Finn was now a part of their team and maybe if she joined with him, it could bring the cool factor the club needed.

"What are you thinking?" Quinn said, noticing the look on Grace's face.

"There's something I need to tell you, just promise you won't get mad," Grace said nervously as Quinn gave her a look.

"What did you do?" Quinn asked her, slightly annoyed. "It's not what I did…it's what I've been keeping from you," Grace said as Quinn raised her eyebrow at her sister as Grace sighed. "You know how Finn has been making excuses of why he can't ride with us and you've been really mad about it?" she said as Quinn nodded, nervous about what Grace was going to admit.

"I don't know all the details but he got in trouble with Mr. Schue, he found something in Finn's locker and instead of 6 weeks of detention, he's been a part of the New Directions," Grace said as Quinn scoffed.

"And you never thought to tell me?" Quinn asked, enraged.

"He made me swear not to tell you and I didn't want to get in the middle of that," Grace said honestly as Quinn shook her head.

"Unbelievable. You should have told me. Especially because he's been spending so much time with that thing!" Quinn exclaimed, upset.

"I just didn't want to stress you out even more, Quinn. I know you've been dealing with enough with the possible pregnancy…and what happened that night," Grace said as Quinn shook her head.

"You just don't get it. If this gets out it can ruin our chances for homecoming king and queen," Quinn said, upset as she sighed "I can't believe he'd keep this from me."

"Well, I think he knows how much your reputation means to you, maybe he was afraid of what you think. You know, the way you are afraid to admit what happened over the summer," Grace said as Quinn scowled back at her.

"You know that isn't the same thing. Just don't go there," Quinn shot back at her sister as Grace sighed.

"You're right, I'm sorry," she apologized.

"It's okay," Quinn said, placing her head in her hands "What am I going to do Gracie?"

"Well…maybe you could try to support him. You know, join the club with him," Grace suggested as Quinn shook her head.

"No way. I can't do that. Not this close to homecoming," Quinn said seriously.

"Maybe after homecoming then," Grace suggested as Quinn thought about it, maybe Grace had a point, maybe she should join in order to be able to keep an eye on Finn but she could also help out her sister who had already done so much to help protect her.

"Maybe," Quinn said simply, unsure of what she was going to do.

"Just think about it, you don't have to make a decision right now. We have until Thanksgiving Break to get enough members," Grace said seriously as Quinn nodded.

"I will," Quinn said honestly as she was unsure of what to do, but she did know she and Finn needed to communicate better in their relationship. Maybe, just maybe then she'd feel more secure to tell him the truth, the full truth of what she did wrong that summer night.

That Monday morning, Grace had gotten a message from Mr. Schue "Emergency Glee Club meeting in the auditorium before school." it read. That concerned Grace tremendously. She knew the New Directions usually had a rehearsal before school but they had never had a meeting or an emergency meeting at that.

The New Directions had all met in the auditorium as they all seemed to have that same concerned look on their faces. "Just take a seat guys," Mr. Schue said as they all sat down in the seats in the audience, knowing this definitely wasn't good.

"I want to thank you all for coming before school. This meeting won't last long and will quite possibly be our very last together," Mr. Schue said as everyone gasped.

"What do you mean?" Rachel exclaimed, upset.

"As of today, I will no longer be your Glee Club director and will be leaving the school," Mr. Schue said as the group continued to look shocked.

"You're leaving us? When?" Artie asked, stunned.

"Well, I've given my two weeks' notice, but I promise I'm gonna find you guys a great replacement before I go," Mr. Schue assured them.

"Is this 'cause those Carmel kids were so good? Because we can work harder," Mercedes said determinedly.

"This isn't fair, Mr. Schuester. We can't do this without you," Rachel agreed.

"So does that mean that I don't have to be in the club anymore or…?" Finn asked, almost relieved as the rest of the group shot him a dirty look, especially Rachel.

Mr. Schue sighed "This isn't about you guys. Being an adult is about having to make difficult choices. It's not like high school. Sometimes you have to give up the things that you love. One day you guys are going to grow up and understand that. I have loved being your teacher," he said, clearly emotional about having to leave the club that he truly believed in. The New Directions seemed to be devastated as well that the club was quite possibly over as they knew it, all but Finn, who seemed relieved that this was all over with for him.

Finn headed off to football practice, leaving everyone else behind. "What are we going to do?" Rachel asked the rest of the group.

"What can we do? Face it Rachel, it's over," Kurt said seriously as the others murmured in agreement.

"Not necessarily," Rachel said smiling as everyone looked confused.

"What do you mean?" Grace asked, intrigued where Rachel was going with this.

"Let's continue rehearsals on our own. Mr. Schue said he's going to try to find us a replacement but until then, we should do it ourselves, you know prove to him that he's making the wrong choice by leaving us," Rachel said seriously as the others seemed to nod, impressed that she came up with this solution.

"I think it's a crazy idea, but so crazy it might work," Mercedes said the others murmured in agreement.

"Alright then, let's meet in the choir room in 5," Rachel said as she walked off determinedly as the New Directions had leased themselves a new life, one without two key members in Finn and Mr. Schue but they were going to do what they could to make the New Directions truly great on their own.
