Chapter Two

Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry

Albus Dumbledore, an already fairly aged wizard was already beginning to feel his age as he rolled one of his lemon drops in his hand. For one since discovering his favored treat, he couldn't stomach them. Albus sighed as his eyes lost the famous twinkle in them as he closed them and pinched the bridge of his nose as he pondered the past few hours in light of a new prophecy, though incomplete. He left the comforts of his office and started to walk through his school, Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. The usual busy school was empty as it was summer and all the students and most of the staff were away.

Albus let his mind wander as he thought about how things had come to this. He thought to the Potter's only daughter and the younger of the two children that Lily had carried. He had no ill will towards the girl, no if he had to admit he would dare say due to the close relationship that he had made with Lily and James during the war he would call the potter twins his own grandchildren. Viola was such a cheerful baby and growing toddler even made several attempts to enjoy lemon drops with him when he would visit. But with the fact that Tom could very well return on the day they had to make sure that Adrian was prepared to face him as they could both face him and later take up the mantle of Lord Potter.

They had to look to the future beyond just themselves. Lily had been furious with the suggestion of sending Viola to her sister for a few years so they could more highly focus on Adrian. James had told him to he would convince her to send Viola away for a bit. His head throbbed as he remember the aftermath of learning what James had done to get Lily to agree. It was unfortunate but they needed to be prepared for Tom's return, Viola would be needed to keep Adrian humble when Hogwarts came around.

But upon hearing the prophecy the Potters had rushed home to check on Adrian only to find him still in the manor sound asleep which left Petunia's home. He had sent a letter to Arabella to check on Viola only to discover that she was missing thus revealing that he was wrong in choosing which twin was the chosen one. But with out knowing the full prophecy there was no way knowing what to prepare for, not to mention there was the fact that there was Viola was gone with no trace and he currently had no way to track her wearabouts. Thus she would be a wildcard when they could get her back.

Albus just sighed as he leaned back into his, why in such a short amount of time had things turned out like this. For now all he could do is hope for the best.

Windmill Village

Viola woke up to see a face. A man's face. A face that has three scars over one eye, red hair, a straw hat, and last but not least, a crazy man smile. When she saw how close this face was to her own. She had only one thought in her young mind due to the words of Ms. Figg who had taught her what to do if she ever found a man too close to her for her liking.

"PERVERT!" Viola screamed as she slammed her small first into the man's nose with a surprising amount of force. The shock of the suddenly hit had the man stumble back a couple steps holding a now bloody nose and looking unsure about that fact as well.

"SHANKS!" She suddenly fell to the ground as the young boy that was holding her, dropped her like a hot potato. He ran over to the man named Shanks.

The bar was silent as the people were watching what was going on. Then she heard the lady that was bar begin to giggle, after that some of the men started to snicker. Soon the whole village was filled with the laughter from the tavern.

Now, Shanks finally got his nose to stop bleeding, slowly he walked up to her and sat down so he could be at the same eye level with her.

"No, no! I am not a pervert. That is my friend, Mihawk who is a pervert, not me…"

Somewhere in the grandline, a man in a coffin shaped boat woke up sneezing and with the familiar and annoying egre to go fight Shanks once more, meaning that he had once again was not letting something go again.

"I was making sure that you were not injure, when Luffy here…" He pointed to the cute young boy that was at his side. "Brought you in here and you were unconscious at the time. Now, what's your name? Where are you from? And how old are you?" Shanks asked with a grin on his face.

"My name is Potter Viola. I'm six years old, today is my birthday. And where I'm from, you wouldn't believe me even if I told you, I still barely believed it happened myself" Said Viola. Shanks gave her a look that said 'try me'.

So for the next two hours Viola explained her story on how she got to where Luffy had found her. From coming from another world, being abandoned by her family to suffering at the hands of her Aunt and Uncle to when Lady Hecate came and offered her a deal that she gladly took. She left out the part about her devil fruit since she technically didn't have any power yet, so it would be pointless to bring up for now. Once done shee was expecting to laughed at for her crazy story and she honestly wouldn't blame them.

"I believe you." Viola looked at Shanks with her 'you're crazy' look. So he explained, "With our line of work, you'll see a lot of very strange things happening in the Grand Line."

Viola was now curious at what type of work Shanks does, so she asked.

Luffy answered instead by yelling, "Shanks is the best pirate in the world."
