FOUR YEARS AFTER THE EVENTS OF GLITCHTRAP
Gregory sat at his desk in his room, wrench in one hand, and a basic metal animatronic frame in the other. He tightened the bolt, until it fastened itself properly and Gregory was able to move the jaw with his hands.
"What'cha building?" Came a happy voice behind him.
"Ahh!" Gregory said, dropping the metal frame. "Luna!" He turned and glared at the 10 year old.
"What? Not my fault you're such a scaredy cat." She smirked, and walked past him, picking up the animatronic head. "What are you making, anyways?"
"Ugh." Gregory took the head back from the girl. "I'm trying to build a mini Freddy."
"A... Mini Freddy?" Luna asked. "Gregory come on, you already helped them repaid the real Freddy, who do you need another one?" She jumped on his desk and sat on it, feet dangling off the edge.
"I just wanted to see if I could make one all on my own." He sighed and put the head down next to Luna. "What are you doing here? I thought Amber wasn't bringing you here until 4."
"Well, considering it's 4:15, and you didn't meet up with me at Monty Golf like you promised, I had to come here."
"4:15?!" Gregory asked, standing up. "I'm gonna be late!"
"Yeah, that's why I came to get you." Luna said, a smirk plastered on her face. "You're the only kid I know who's late to their own birthday party."
"I can't believe this." Gregory groaned, and walked over to his closet.
Gregory still lived inside the pizzeria, upstairs in one of the secret rooms. Amber had been nice enough to fully convert it into Gregory's bedroom, and even installed his own washroom, closet, and a special way for the staff bots to enter whenever he needed help.
Gregory grabbed an outfit from the closet and ran into the bathroom, slamming the door. He quickly opened it. "Get out." He said to Luna.
Luna left Gregory's room, and headed back out to the day care to visit with Sun and Moon. Both of which, now had their own forms.
"Sun!" Luna said, sliding down the slide.
"Oh, Luna, hello!" Sun shouted, making Moon also come over. "Oh, you just keep growing every time I see you!" Sun picked her up, and held her in the air. "So grown up."
"Sun, come on, I'm not that grown up." Luna rolled her eyes.
"Sun, you saw her yesterday." Moon said, taking Luna from the yellow animatronic.
"I know, but the days go by so fast here in the day care." Sun whined. Moon put the girl down.
"It's Gregory's birthday today, right?" Moon asked.
"Yes." Luna smiled happily.
"What did you get for him?" Sun asked.
"Okay, but shh!" Luna hushed them both as they leaned in. "It's a secret."
"Oh, I love secrets!" Sun whispered excitedly.
"Look." Luna pulled a small cylinder shapped present from her bad.
"Ouu, I love wrapping paper." Sun said, happily. Moon face palmed.
"Inside of here, is a prototype that I made for remnant. We can separate it without it hurting someone or killing them." Luna smiled happily.
"So Gregory and Evan can be separated?" Sun asked.
"I hope so. I hope he likes it though... I don't know if it's actually going to work, it's just a prototype."
"You do realize, if this works, not only can you seperate the remnant from Gregory and Evan, but you can separate the remnant from everyone that's trapped, right?" Moon explained.
"That's the plan. Everyone who was killed here by Vanny... They're not at rest. If I can contain them within the remnant device, I can give them a new life again." Luna smiled.
"She's so grown up." Sun wiped a fake tear.
"Luna!" Amber called. "Come on, let's go, we're gonna miss Gregory's party." She smiled from the ledge, and Luna nodded.
"I should go." Luna said.
"Take care sweetie!" Sun said, waving goodbye. Moon scooped her up and extended his legs, reaching the top of the ledge.
"Have fun." Moon said, retracting after dropping her off.
Amber had been nice enough to take Luna in, and gave her a loving home. She now lived with her and her dog, Mico, not too far from the pizzaplex. "When the pizzaplex closes, I can stay the night tonight, right?" Luna asked. Amber chuckled.
"Yes Luna, tonight you can stay the night." Amber said, holding the girls hand as they walked through the crowds.
Luna really hadn't grown much. She stood roughtly at 3'4" tall. Her orange hair had gotten curlier, but she liked to keep it back in a ponytail so it wasn't always in the way. On a special occasion, like Gregory's birthday party, she was wearing a pair of Fazbear overalls, with a skirt instead of pants, with the front being a picture of Freddy, Bonnie, Foxy, Chica, Roxy and Monty plastered on the front. Under that, was her white T-shirt, and she paired it with a pair of black runners.
Gregory, who had just finished his shower, pulled on a nice black Fazbear shirt, with the crew on the front, and the back reading 'Birthday Boy'. He wore a pair of dark blue jeans and black sneakers. He had a growth spurt over the years, and stood at roughly 5'0" already, turning 14 years old today. His brown hair was still in it's usual style, just more manageable now than when he was younger. He combed it out, and made his way down to Monty Golf.
After the incident with Vanny, Gregory had spend a whole two weeks looking for his remnant here in the pizzaplex. However, he wasn't able to find it. He still had none of his previous life memories, but sometimes he felt like it was better that way. It wasn't like his family ever came looking for him anyways, and Amber even agreed that she would stop the search for it as well.
Gregory walked into Monty golf, and saw Luna there, a smile plastered on her face. He ran over to Luna and Amber, and they began their walk through Monty Golf.
"Alright, you two can go play in the pizzaplex, but be at the main show for 6pm." Amber said.
"Okay." Both kids said happily, watching Amber leave to the upper security level.
"Come on, let's go see Monty!" Gregory said, running up the stairs to the cat walk.
The kids approached the gator, who was currently watching everyone else play golf. He looked down at them.
"Gregory! Happy Birthday!" The gator lifted him up with a growl.
"Thanks Monty, but you're crushing me." Gregory managed out.
"Oh, sorry." The gator said, putting him down. "Hey Luna!"
"Hi Monty." She smiled.
"What are you two up to? Looking to play a round?" He held out a golf club.
"No, we're just coming through. You're still coming tonight, right?" Gregory asked.
"Wouldn't miss it, kid." Monty said. He hear something smash in the distance. "Yeah! Good shot, Jasmine!" He called to one of the kids. "I gotta run. See you later, little gators!" Monty ran off.
Luna and Gregory made their way over to the main area, and decided they were gonna go see Chica and maybe get some cake, but the chicken had other plans.
"What, come on Chica, no fair." Luna crossed her arms.
"Oh, don't pout Luna. You know you can't have anything yet." Chica said, putting some dishes away. The kids had snuck their way into the kitchen.
"But Amber doesn't have to know." Gregory said. Chica laughed.
"You two are adorable, but you remember the last time I tried to sneak you guys pizza?" Chica asked.
"Oh yeah." Luna said, embarrassed.
"Sorry, coming through." One of the employees said, walking through with a handful of pizza trays. "Hey, kids aren't supposed to be back here." He said.
"It's okay, they're with me." Chica said. "Ryan, this is Luna and Gregory." She gestured to them.
"Birthday boy, huh?" Ryan said, walking behind Gregory with more pizza trays. "Hey wait, you're the kid we read about in the handbook. You live here right?"
"Oh, uh yeah." Gregory said. He forgot that he was now mentioned in the hand book.
"That's pretty sweet." Ryan said. "Do you get to go like, anywhere you want?"
"I mean, yeah I guess so." Gregory was confused. Was this really that weird? This pizzaplex was all he had ever known.
"You don't look that old though." Ryan leaned against the sink. "I guess you don't need to worry though with Amber being here, and all the animatronics, and security, and-"
"I think he gets it, Ryan." Chica said.
"Sorry." Ryan said, putting his hands up.
Gregory looked down at the ground as Ryan walked away. His fazwatch beeped, and he looked at his wrist. It was almost 5:30, which meant they had to start heading over to the main stage soon. They said their goodbyes to Chica, and began walking back through the pizzaplex.
"I'm sorry." Luna said. It looked like what Ryan said really hurt you..."
"It's not that, it's just... I don't even know my parents, and I don't know anything about my old life. Is it really that weird that I live in the pizzaplex?" He asked her.
"Not to me. I think I'm used to it now. Besides, it's not like you had much time to really grow up. We were thrown into some pretty bad things. Oh, are you still doing therapy?" Luna didn't want to pry, but she couldn't help it.
"Yeah. Her name is Jade. She's really nice." Gregory smiled. "She's really helped me with a lot of the things that happened."
"I'm sure Freddy and Bonnie help a lot too."
"They do. I'm lucky to have them both." Gregory gave a genuine smile to Luna.
The kids approached the main stage area, seeing it was already filling up with people for the show. Surprised by the crowd, Gregory pulled Luna's hand and had one of the staff bots escort them to the front. They waited patiently for the show to begin.
