"Um, sure. We can ask. But I don't know what Lissa would say.." I looked over at him, we were once again stopping our walking before entering Christian room. "And I don't want to ask Christain without talking to Liss... Also, A child looking like Christain and me kinda gives me nightmares."

"We can talk to Queen Vasilissa?" He looked at me.

Ew… he used that name, the one she hated. I'm telling her about this later. I gave a diabolical smile, one that I would assume was noticed by Dimitri, followed by confusion. I quickly left my thoughts and nodded, "I'd like that a lot.." I flashed him a nervous smile.

He went inside to talk to Christain about finding another guardian to watch him while we went to talk to Lissa. I think I overheard him bringing up surrogacy, that was my cue to walk farther away from the door. I waited for him, a little farther down the hall than planned. I don't know why, but I didn't want to hear what Christain had to say.

Dimitri walked out a few minutes later, meeting another guardian in the hall who took over his inside shift. He met me far from the spot he left me and smiled. I returned him yet another nervous smile, "Let's go"

We walked hand in hand to Lissa's office, hopefully, she wasn't busy… She did have a decent amount of work to do when I left her. I was getting weird looks from the guardians outside her doors, I didn't knock, I just entered.

It's almost as if she knew it was me because when I entered she turned around in her chair, very evilly. She began petting her furry book. "Liss you don't have a cat" I looked at her.

"You left me, unguarded. You truly aren't in the right mind... I could have died", She shook her head dramatically. I wasn't bothered by her reaction as much as I was by Dimitris. He looked dumbfounded that I left Lissa unguarded.

I could feel his eyes travel towards me, "Roza, that was extremely irresponsible of you.." He looked at me, I felt the glare come through me sending a shiver up my spine. I truly was so caught up about this whole baby situation that I forgot how to do my job. I knew Lissa was being slightly dramatic but she did have a point, something could have happened to her.

I'm not trying to be selfish here but I'm not being convicted for the murder of a queen… Again.

"I can explain-" I was disappointed in myself just as much as Dimitri was disappointed in me… Knowing that kinda hurt. Damn, these emotions… Not even pregnant yet and im an emotional and physical wreck. "I got distracted by how much I wanted to talk to Dimitri about the whole baby thing and I know it's not an excuse but im sorry and I didn't mean to" I was already emotional from crying with Dimitri, I felt another tear run down my cheek.

Lissa didn't speak and I couldn't see Dimitri's face… Screw his stupid height. I looked up at him, our eyes met. "I'm sorry", I looked back down, feeling ashamed.

Dimitri took the tips of his fingers and tilted my head up. "Roza, I'm not mad at you. Just use this as a learning experience." I put my head right back down but he put it up to make our eyes lock. "Roza, how mad do you think I am?"

I think for a moment, but I finally choose to respond. "I don't know, maybe like, eight out of ten." His face showed shock and confusion. "Roza, why would you even think that?" He took his hand off my chin. I immediately began longing for his touch. "This isn't as serious as you might think, there are other guardians here as well." His tone seemed to have a hint of agitation.

"I messed up, Dimitri... You should be mad- I put Lissa's life in danger all because I wanted to go talk to you." More tears began running down my cheeks, I felt bad for Lissa… She had to watch this, with zero commentaries as usual.

He grabs my hand and leads me out from Lissa's room and across to her bathroom. I hear him close and door, flipping the light on. Turning to me he says, "There is nothing that you could do to make me that angry." I look into his brown eyes, "Promise, Comrade?"

He gave me a warm smile, a reassuring one as he said, "Yea stupid, now come here." He wraps me in a hug. I use this as an opportunity to wipe the tear and snot on his shirt instead of getting a tissue.

"I knew you were good for something," I said, smiling up at him.

"You, better than anyone, know I'm good at many things", he says with a sly grin, winking at me.

"I don't think it's smart for your smirks or winks in Lissa's bathroom. She could walk in at any moment and it wouldn't be her first time finding us in compromising positions" I chuckled.

"It wouldn't be the last time either." We both let out chuckles to this.

"Comrade, The moment we stop having sex in weird places will be the time we break up. I love you, but I'm not willing to miss out on this fun"

I feel his hand slowly trail down my back and to my thigh. I couldn't help but blush. "I'll make up for this tease later, I can promise you that."

"I think we should go back and ask Lissa the um, thing... And we did kinda just leave her unguarded again."

He blinks, saying, " I won't say a word about you doing it if you don't say a word about me doing it."

"Deal" I kiss him on the cheek and quickly lead him out of the bathroom and back to Lissa. We walk back in and being the amazing person she is, Lissa didn't ask about it. Though she did ask about Dimitri's snotty and soaked shirt. "Umm, you might need a new shirt, Dimitri." He looks down and then at me. I am going to have to pay for that.

"Anyway, what did you guys need?" I was so thankful when Dimitri decided to start this conversation. "So Rose and I want to… well, we want to have a baby."

She looked at him, "hmm. I know" suddenly she looked like she could be the killer in a movie. "Oh, okay, well that was the easy part." A puzzled look crossed her face as Dimitri continued. "We needed a sperm donor and I talked…to Christan. But of course, he wanted us to talk to you before anything else."

Lissa looked at me before responding to Dimitri. Is this what you want? She sent me a message through our bond. I nodded in agreement to her statement not trying to make it obvious to Dimitri that we were using the bond to speak.

"That would be very beneficial to the Ozera family, knowing that their bloodline would continue if anything were to happen." She looked at Dimitri. He smiled, "Thank you truly, Quee-" He attempted to finish his phrase but was quickly interrupted by Lissa, "Lissa" She gave him an evil glare.

He nodded and finished his sentence, "Thank you, Lissa" He turns to me, before I can even say a word, I'm lifted into the air. He hugged me tight enough to cut off my airway, second time he's tried to murder me this week.

Once he finally released me from his grip I looked at him. "Are we doing this?" I gave him a half-smile.

"There is nothing I want more, Roza." He said smiling at me.

I felt a shock of calmness through our bond, Good luck.
