Chapter 32:
Kristen was sitting in her private office-where the Elite Guardians are station at,was busy doing something didn't noticed there were police officers walking into the place.
"We came to see Ms. Callaway is she available?"asked Victor coming towards the desk.
Melinda Mitchell looks up from the desk she was sitting in. "Ms. Callaway she's in her office,if you want to see her"answered Melinda letting the police officers in the doorway that was blocked.
Monica harper and Victor Del Toro were partners for the day-came to see what Kristen was up too.
"Thanks"answered Victor walking towards the office that was pointed out too.
Knocked on the doorway.
"Officer Del Toro,What are we doing here? We are supposed to be on duty?"asked Moncia.
"Officer Harper didn't ask you to come with me,already know don't like Kristen-besides I had permission to be here"answered Victor.
Monica Harper sighs to herself not getting anywhere.
Kristen was doing something in her private office-decided to step out a bit to stretch-was just walking out of the office. "Officer Del Toro! How are you doing back at the job?"asked kristen.
Officer Victor del toro looks at Kristen Callaway in the face. "How are you feeling?"asked Victor.
"OK"answered kristen going into the break room area of the secret headquarters
Victor follows Kristen into the break room, sits down on a chair. " I know your not fine, Kristen what's wrong?"asked victor.
Kristen froze in taking something out of the fridge-turns towards Victor. Throws a water bottle at Victor's head. "You don't know what I have been through for the past 16 years of my life. Suddenly you came back after the death of Linda want your job back. In case you haven't noticed my dad isn't coming back from the dead"shouted kristen angrily-walking out of the break room.
Detective Aaron Carson knows what kristen is going through right now. "Officer Del Toro think it's best you leave now"answered Aaron.
(2 weeks later) Kristen hasn't been home lately-or at the headquarters.
It was getting on everyone nerves-that Kristen hasn't been at the station,only to drop off food.
Jessie Palamero was somewhere with a friend of hers,saw Kristen knowing that the police officers were worried. She decides to walk into the station to tell her dad about seeing Kristen.
After Jessie explains where she saw Kristen at the place.
T:C Callaway was just coming down the stairs to talk to one of his fellow co workers.
When kristen came slowly walking into the station.
Officer Russ Granger rushed towards kristen. "Kristen! Where have you been?"asked Russ after coming back from bike patrol with Victor.
Victor knows that T:C, knows about kristen issues.
Kristen looks over to the officers. "Uncle Russ I need to talk to you outside alone for a minute please"asked kristen.
Russ and Kristen head outside to talk.
"Kristen is something wrong?"asked russ whose leaning against the bike rack outside of the station.
Kristen looks at her uncle Russ in the face for a moment. "I'm going to be out of town for a few days"said kristen.
Out of town that alerted Russ Granger. "Kristen you can't leave,Lt. Callaway would have my head"exclaimed Russ.
Kristen laughs. "I'm just going to Los Angeles with some of the Elite Guardians-we were invited to a birthday party"answered kristen.
Russ Granger hugs his niece around the shoulders. "Just be safe"whispered Russ.
Kristen leaves the station.
Russ Granger heads back inside the station-needs to tell T:C where Kristen was going to be for a few days.
Monica Harper saids something. "Where's did Kristen go off too?"asked Monica.
Russ Granger walks upstairs to tell T:C where his daughter would be. "Lt. Callaway just wanted to let you know that Kristen had just informed me she would in Los Angeles for a few days for a party"answered russ.
