Re:Chapter 10 -Date A Raid (Part 2)

...

Fifth Floor - Issei

"This place is huge!" The grey-haired Spirit exclaims, sitting on a small bench. The fifth floor contained a lot of prisoners, up until a little while ago, thanks to my clones. The center of the floor is a giant prison, like one you'd see in an actual prison, but much larger. It's three 'floors' of cells on top of one another, with the center of the room near-empty, save for some tables and benches, like the one Nia's sitting on now. Alarms have stopped blaring, but still are glowing red. Thank God for that, I was starting to get a headache.

I dispelled my clones on the tenth floor as I helped Nia up here. Got all the documents in a pocket dimension for later. Oh, these DEM fuckers won't know what hit them!

"We're only halfway though, but the others are gonna meet us here in a sec." I say to her. "Then we're just gonna teleport out."

"Of course you can teleport." Nia says, deadpan.

"Obviously! Every fanfiction protagonist needs to be able to teleport." I say, playing along.

"Pffft." Nia tries to stifle her laughter. "So, what can your friends do?'

"One can turn things into other things and another can screw with time." I explain.

"Time? Seriously?" The sister Spirit asks.

"Yup. Speaking of..." I trail off as I see a familiar mass of black and red appear on the floor.

"W-What is that?!" Nia says, recoiling back from its sudden appearance.

"Kurumi's way of 'teleporting'." I say. Suddenly, the worst Spirit, in all her glory, emerges from the inky blackness. God, I forgot how beautiful she was in her Astral Dress. I haven't seen it, since we met. Well, I saw it earlier, but I didn't have time to admire it.

The blackness disappears as her feet hit the ground. Kurumi, noticing my stare, lets her teasing grin out. "Ara ara, you're staring at me quite intensely, Issei-kun~"

"Sorry, sorry. I just forgot how good you looked in that dress." I say homestly, returning her teasing smile. "How're the wizards?"

A sly grin worms its way onto Kurumi's face. "Resting in pieces. I also gave those floors a new coat of paint."

"Eh, fair enough. Ninth and Tenth floors are about the same." I say with a shrug.

"Oh?" Kurumi asks, her eyes slightly wide.

"Normally, I wouldn't've channeled my inner 'Nightmare' like this, but these cunts didn't deserve any mercy." I say, honestly.

"Fufu~ I'm glad we agree on that." Kurumi then peeks behind me and sees Nia. "Is that her?"

"Yup." I say simply.

"It's nice to finally meet you, Honjou Nia-san." Kurumi says, reaching down to her dress and curtsying toward the still surprised Nia. "My name is Tokisaki Kurumi."

"Uh... nice to meet ya too." Nia says, confused a bit.

"You'll get used to her. Now, we've just gotta wait on our 'plus one'." As if pre-planned, I hear footsteps coming quickly towards us. A familiar mop of green hair appears in my eyes. "There you are."

"Sorry I'm late, I got as much as I could." Natsumi apologizes, panting slightly from running this far.

"Did you run all this way?" Kurumi asks.

"Yeah...?" The witch Spirit asks, not understanding the question.

"Kurumi can teleport and you have a broom you can fly on. Why run all this way?" I ask.

Natsumi's face scrunches up in annoyance, before she groans.

"Anyways, still got the bag?" I ask the short Spirit.

"Here." Natsumi says, handing me the bag which I promptly place in a storage dimension.

"Good, now these assholes really are screwed." I say.

"Whaddya mean?" Nia chimes in.

"The bag has a bunch of incriminating evidence. Enough to get these fuckers the death penalty ten times over." I say with a savage grin.

"Seriously?!" The grey haired Spirit asks, her eyes wide.

"Nia. We're standing in a prison right now." I hold my arm towards the cells. "You think you were the only one they kidnapped?"

"...These guys really are the worst, huh?" Nia says in realization, after a moment of silence.

"The worst." I agree.

"Ufufu, I may be the worst Spirit, but these people are the worst humans." Kurumi agrees.

"After reading those papers... I can't help but agree with you guys." Natsumi adds, quietly.

I'm not gonna miss this place, needless to say. I just hope the people held here get a good second chance at life... God knows they deserve it.

"Alright then, I've had enough of this hellhole. Natsumi, help Nia up." I order the short girl.

Natsumi nods and goes over to the weakened Spirit and helps her up. She still can't stand, and probably won't be able to for a while, naturally at least. I'll fix her up later.

"Alright then, you guys ready to go?" I ask, turning to both of them.

"Let's." Kurumi says.

"Yeah." Natsumi says.

"Fuck this place, let's go." Nia says, clearly tired.

"You're not going anywhere." Ellen says- wait a second.

"The fuck?" I whip my head around to see the 46-or-so year old woman, who looks about 20 due to magic bullshit, is floating behind us, a confident grin on her face.

Her long, blonde hair cascades around her white and grey CR-Unit and framing her face and her, admittedly rather striking, purple eyes.

"Well well well. Glad to see you fixed the elevator, I was thinkin' of sending technician up there." I pause to chuckle. "Still, this IS a surprise. Good ol' Adeptus One, Ellen Mira Mathers, in the flesh. To what do I owe the pleasure, your smugness?" I ask with a flourish of my arms.

"What do you think, Spirit? I'm here to capture all of you." Ellen says, confident and smug as can be. God her voice is annoying.

"Capture?" I ask with a chuckle. "Well, someone's sure of themselves. You'd have an easier time killing us than capturing." I say, an equally smug grin on my face.

"Of course I am. I'm the strongest Wizard. You all are the stupid ones to willingly come here." Adeptus 1 says, gesturing towards the girls. "For what? To save your fellow Spirit?"

"To save my fellow human, from those who clearly have no humanity left." I snap back, deadly serious, staring right into her eyes. "You and your fuck-buddy Wescott sicken me to my core."

"Yet you stand next to Nightmare?" Ellen asks, pointing at Kurumi. "Yet you butchered those scientists downstairs?"

"She's a goddamn saint compared to you fucks." I retort. "Plus, your friends downstairs have been doing worse things to our pal back there." I say, pointing my thumb over my shoulder towards Nia. "I'd say they fucking deserve it and then some. They should be glad they died quick, instead of putting them through what our grey-haired friend's been going through here."

Stepping forward, a pissed expression on my face, I continue. "Don't act like you didn't know what was going on here, or that you tried to stop it." I begin tensing my body, ready to fight. I know Ellen's the same way, I can see her hands twitching. "So how about you stop all the hypocrisy you're spouting and tell me what you want." I say, patience gone.

"I want you all in chains." Ellen says, simply.

"For what? You're psychotic boyfriend? Does his pasty ass get off on torture?" I ask, riling her up intentionally.

"Don't talk about Ike like that!" She shouts, suddenly. We all wheel back a bit at her sudden rage.

"Struck a nerve did I, Ellen dear?" I ask, chuckling. My smile then fades as I let out a sigh. "Welp, I guess there's no choice." With a flourish, I create a copy of Sandalphon and point it straight at the flying bitch in front of us. "You're in the way. Move." I order, threateningly.

"Not a chance." Ellen says, entering a stance in the air. Her lance materializes in her hands, shimmering with energy. My sword crackles threateningly as well.

Tension rises. Neither of us move a muscle, but our entire bodies are itching for a chance to move.

Time moves slowly. It feels like an eternity.

This is gonna be my first real fight, Ellen's a monster when compared to the AST girls I fought when I first got here.

I've no idea of how fast or strong she is, but I'm probably gonna get my ass kicked. Oh well.

Suddenly, the tension breaks as we both shoot forward.

"RAAH!"

"HAAH!"

Faster than the eye can see, both of us dash forward as I materialize my helmet. My blade and her spear clash violently, as the three girls behind me get pushed back. "Get back you three!" I shout at them.

"NO! We can-" A voice, presumably Natsumi says.

"Get your asses kicked!" I say, pushing Ellen back with my sword. She steps forward with a thrust, which I block, then a slash, then another. Our weapons clash again and again.

"Ellen's stronger than all of you, let me handle this!" I shout at the girls. Ellen could probably even beat Kurumi, and I'd rather them save the Inverse Form for something much stronger than this bitch. Ellen thrusts her spear at me, which I block with the flat of Sandalphon. With a grunt, I push Ellen back a good ways across the room, her feet grinding on the floor.

Turning back to the girls, I order them. "Natsu, protect Nia. Kuru, you and me."

"Okay." Natsumi says, pulling Nia back as Kurumi walks up to me.

I could use some things from video games and the likes, but I want Ellen and Isaac to think I can copy angels, not my imagination stuff. Underestimation at its finest. I do not want them to know my true strength, same with the others and the Inverse Form, unless necessary.

"Haha! You really think Nightmare is enough to beat me, brat?" Ellen asks, smug as always.

"More than enough, bitch." I say with a grin. "Kuru, clones!"

"Ufufu, what are you planning, Issei-kun?" Kurumi asks, as about a dozen of her pop out of the ground.

"Well, I was planning on giving you some presents." I say, teasingly, getting close to her.

"Like what?" She says, closer to me.

"Like... ZAFKIEL FOR EVERYONE!" I throw my arms up as a dozen copies of Zafkiel fly from my hands and directly into the clones. That cost a significant portion of my energy, but having a dozen Kurumis more than makes up for it!

Smugly, I turn to Ellen, "You done goofed."

"Fuck you!" The wizard yells, snapping.

"Ara ara, how uncouth." The time Spirit says condescendingly.

"I know right?" I ask sarcastically. "I'd expected someone of your age to be more polite."

"Her age?" Kurumi asks, raising an eyebrow.

"She's forty-six." I say, simply.

"RAAAGH!" With an animalistic yell, the blonde wizard dashes at me, having had enough.

"There it is!" I shout with a grin.

My Sandalphon clashes with her lance, both of us locked together with our blades grinding together. One of the Kurumis hops in, shooting at her face, but Ellen pushes me back and blocks it with her lance. In my other hand, I make another Zafkiel, and shoot her as well. She deflects my bullets, one Kurumi's bullets, another's, and another's. Soon she's deflecting a literal rain of bullets.

How the fuck is she so fast? She's deflecting all of them, like her minds running so fast she can see the bullets move! Well, that's easily remedied!

"Kuru! Mass self-Aleph!" I shout. They stop firing at our opponent for a second and fire a single Aleph Bullet at themselves, as do I. Ellen, ignorant of this, charges at us. Her eyes quickly widen as I dash forward and attempt to cleave her with Sandalphon, an attack she barely blocks, even with her great speed. Her eyes widen in shock as our weapons collide. The Kurumi firing line begins again and she begins to deflect bullets, only this time, she misses a few and gains a few cuts, drawing blood and tearing her skimpy CR-Unit outfit.

Behind her, I dispel Sandalphon and summon the axe Camael and the wrap the chain Raphael El Na'ash around it. Ever played Devil May Cry 3? Remember the flame and wind swords Agni and Rudra? This is gonna be that, but better!

I run to the wizard as she's still deflecting bullets and swing my axe down. The thing is hefty, but doesn't weigh a damn thing to me, so I really slam it down. Ellen turns her head to the side to see me, flaming axe in hand coming downward. Her eyes widen, but she ducks out of the way, nearly dodging the explosion of wind and flame. I spin the axe around, its head still on the ground and sweep the the upwards, flinging a trail of fire and wind forward. Ellen barely dodges the deluge of flame and wind, but a Kurumi pops out from the ground and kicks her in the side of the head, with a Zafkiel-empowered kick. The wizard is sent flying, crashing into the wall with a painful sound. She stays there, indented into the stone.

"Haha! How's that, bitch?!" I ask, chuckling.

With a few coughs, the strongest wizard grasps the wall, pulling herself out from the indent. "Not bad, brats." She says, standing up, covered in bruises and cuts. "But not enough."

"Oh? Up for a round two?" I ask, confident.

Ellen throws her head back and laughs loudly. Her body jerks around, fast as hell as light flashes from the tip of her lance. A mass of projectiles, faster than I can see, fly from her lance. Looking to the side, I see the dozen or so clones disappear in a flash of light. I quickly absorb the Zafkiel copies back into myself. Turning back to Ellen, she has a wicked grin on her face. "I've been holding back."

"Oh?" Kurumi asks. "So have we."

Looking at my heterochromatic girlfriend, I nod with a smile, something she returns.

Pulling out our Zafkiel's, we both fire an Dalet at one another, recovering our strength, then an Aleph, speeding us both up.

As one, we both dash forward at the strongest wizard. Ellen moves to strike us, but I push myself. Kurumi's Zafkiel and Ellen's lance clash, as I dash behind the wizard, summoning Sandalphon again. Ellen, not holding back, pushes Kurumi back, spins around and blocks my upward swing. She looks at me, full of confidence and hate, but her face faults and her eyes widen when she sees a dozen golden spears behind me.

Metatron flourishes as the tips of the spears point at the wizard, each glistening with a eerie white light at the ends. With a grin on my face, I speak. "Artleif." The energy builds and shoots out as a singular beam of energy, smacking Ellen head on, sending her flying.

Like that one scene when Goku first fought Vegeta, the beam pushes Ellen away from us, but she pushes herself to the side using her CR-Unit's jets, allowing the beam to continue on its path. Her chest is cut and bruised more than before.

Kurumi takes the initiative as she pops up from a puddle of darkness on the floor behind the wizard, and grabs her ankle.

"Wha?!" Ellen shouts as Kurumi pulls her partway into her shadows. The strongest wizard struggles, now having her legs up to her mid-thigh stuck in the darkness.

From the corner of my eyes, I see Natsumi and Nia watching our fight with wide-eyes. Looks like we've got a show to put on!

Running forward, I charge at the trapped wizard. Seeing me coming, Ellen struggles more fervently, but to no avail. She then points her lance at me, firing energy from the tip. I dodge around the laser beam and jump into the air.

BAM

With that sound, both my feet plant square against Ellen's face as I dropkick her in the head, sending her flying from the dark quicksand. She tumbles on the ground a bit, before stopping and slowly picking herself up. Ellen growls at us threateningly, like an animal.

"That it?" I ask, condescendingly. "That's all the 'Strongest Wizard' has to offer?"

Wordlessly, the wizard flies at me with her CR-Unit. Heh, time to break her morale.

With her full speed, Ellen reaches me in an instant. Her silver lance glistens with the artificial lights of the prison, hungry of my blood, but...

fwoosh

It misses. Using Metatron at an advanced level, I turn part of my body into light, causing Ellen to swing her lance straight through my body.

"Oh? Looks like you missed. Try again." I say with a grin.

Ellen growls again and slashes her lance at my head.

fwoosh

My head turns to light, causing her to miss.

fwoosh

She misses, again.

fwoosh

And again.

fwoosh

And again.

fwoosh fwoosh fwoosh fwoosh fwoosh fwoosh fwoosh fwoosh fwoosh fwoosh fwoosh

"GAAH!" Ellen snaps, fed up with my antics. "Stop it, dammit!" She shouts, stepping back, then leaping at me, intending to stab me. As she comes closer.

fwoosh

My entire body turns to light, causing her to pass right through me. All execpt my feet, that is. Thinking quickly, I hold my solid foot out and catch Ellen as she flies forward.

She trips, and the strongest wizard's face slams into the ground. She picks herself up and crouches on the ground, looking at me hatefully, her face now red with rage and pain.

"Heh. I think that look suits you better." I say with a chuckle.

"Just DIE!" She shouts, rushing at me, spear pointed forward.

Focusing Reiryoku into my arm, I catch the spear's tip, inches away from my face.

Ellen's purple eyes widen in shock as she struggles to push the spear into my skull.

"Y'know, I was expecting more." I say. "The Strongest Wizard, one of the ones who took part in summoning the first Spirit to this world. Those are grand titles and claims, but you..." I move forward, lowering my voice as I stare the woman in the eyes through my visor. Ellen's clearly quite pissed now as she's grinding her teeth. "You're just a big fish in a large pond. Now, I'm gonna show ya that there's always a BIGGER FISH!"

Finishing with a shout, I pull the spear past me, dragging Ellen towards me.

BAM

Our heads collide as my helmet slams into Ellen's skull.

"AAH!" She cries out in pain, recoiling.

Focusing the Reiryoku throughout my body, I move forward and punch her in the stomach. Then the chest. Then the head. Again and again, I punch her faster and faster, stronger and stronger, then...

"RAAH!" With a yell, I plant a final punch into her skull, sending the strongest wizard flying. She tumbles on the ground, before stopping near the room's exit.

Slowly, the blonde woman stands back up. She holds her mouth with her hand and pulls it back, revealing blood coming from her nose and mouth. Enraged, Ellen clenches her fist, before her face calms...? Her hand and face relax. "Not bad, Spirit... trying to piss me off. You almost got me there."

"Almost?" I ask, with a scoff. "I saw how you were grinding your teeth, Ellen."

"You were." Ellen says, standing back up. "Were." Here confident smile returns.

"Indeed. He was doing quite a good job at it, too." The time Spirit adds, appearing next to me from the shadows.

"Oh, it seems like they're giving you some trouble, Ellen." An annoying male voice calls out. Oh, look, it's Isaac Wescott in all his pale glory.

Wearing a full black suit with a white tie, in comes Isaac himself. His stark white hair is cut short, in an 'edgy anime teenager' sorta way. He kinda looks like that Vali guy from DxD, now that I think about it.

"Ike?" Ellen asks, surprised, before turning back to us. "Get back, I'll be done in a second."

"I know, I merely wanted to introduce myself to our guests." Isaac says.

"We know who you are dickhead." I say annoyed at him already. "Enough with the bravado. The only thing standing between me doing the world a favor and ridding it of your stink is your lackey here, so shut up."

"Don't talk to Ike like that!" Ellen shouts.

"Shut it, you gorilla woman!" I snap back, causing Ellen's rage to return. Fuckin' idiot, talking about how I wasn't gonna piss her off.

"A male Spirit. I didn't think she could turn men into Spirits." Isaac observes, coming to a conclusion.

"Actually, 'she' had nothing to do with me becoming a Spirit. It was a mere accident." I explain, causing his eyes to widen at this, before resting into his usual smug, know-it-all look.

"I see. Thank you for that, Emperor." He says, and... Huh? Emperor?

"...You talkin' to me?" I ask, slowly. "Because that's a shitty codename, Isaac." I say, deadpan.

"Eh, I wasn't the one who came up with it." He says, waving me off.

"Terrible at names, what else are you fools terrible at, magic?" I ask, messing with them.

"Like you know anything." Ellen scoffs. "You're speaking to the two strongest magicians in the world."

"Just because your granddaddies founded the Golden Dawn doesn't mean you both are good at magic." I say, causing the DEM members eyes to widen. "Oh? Didn't know I knew that? I wasn't that hard to figure out. I wonder if ol' Willy and Sammy would be proud of their grandkids, killing and torturing and doing God-knows what else. Those two are probably rolling in their graves."

Isaac then begins to chuckle. "Well, you certainly are a lot more entertaining than I was expecting, Emperor."

"I can say the same about your friend." I say, pointing at Ellen. "Look at how her face scrunches up cutely. Makes me wanna tease her some more~"

"Wha?!" Ellen squeaks, SQUEAKS, as I say that.

"Ahahaha!" The pale man then begins to honestly laugh.

"Ahahaha... Ahahaha!" I then begin to laugh alongside the man.

Ellen and Kurumi stare at us, confused. They even look at one another, causing Kurumi to shrug slightly.

After a minute of us both laughing, we both eventually calm ourselves. "Anyways, Ellen." He says, causing the blonde woman to turn to him. "I'd prefer that you don't kill them, just keep them somewhat alive."

"Hmph. Alright then, Ike." Ellen says, readying herself. "I will show you the true power of my Rhongomiant!" She declares proudly. Okay, I've gotta correct this idiot.

"It's Rhongomyniad, you imbecile! Do you even know your fucking history?! And you call yourself British." I shout at her, a bit pissed. Always loved the Fate series. "Anyways, time for talking's over, huh?" I ask rhetorically.

I nod at Kurumi as she and I ready ourselves, but Ellen... disappears? The fuck? She didn't even twitch then disappear like when she went full speed. Since when could she go invis-

SQUELCH

Oh.

Looking down, I see a spear piercing my body, right through the stomach.

""Issei!"" Kurumi and Natsumi shout.

"Told you I was holding back~" Ellen says with a smirk, as she twists the spear in my abdomen. T-This fucking-!

"Fuck you." I say simply, right in her face.

"Fufu, how uncouth." Ellen says smugly, stealing Kurumi's trademarked giggle, as she picks me up and flings me off her spear and into the wall. Colliding with the wall, I slump down.

My vision begins to darken as I struggle to move.

Huh, I'm blacking out. Am I dying?

I thought Isaac didn't want her to kill us? Fucking idiot.

"Iss-" "-ei!" I hear the girls cry out to me.

...

...no.

...I'm not... dying... here!

""Issei!"" Natsumi and I both shout, in shock. Natsumi's green eyes have widened and she's moved from Nia-san, who looks equally as shocked.

"What a weakling." Ellen, the bitch in front of us says smugly, flicking his blood off her spear.

"Excellent job, Ellen." The pale man behind her, Isaac, says, with a laugh. A LAUGH!

Issei's always been confident in himself... been so strong... but seeing him like this made me remember. Even though we're Spirits now, we're still human. He told Natsumi and I earlier to not use the Inverse Form unless necessary, but now... Now I don't care. I can't beat Ellen by myself.

"Natsumi." I turn to her and say. She's taken aback by my serious tone.

"Y-Yeah?" Natsumi asks, hesitant.

"No more holding back." I say as I make a clone to guard Nia. The green haired girl seems to grasp what I mean as her eyes widen.

"Are you sure? Issei told us to keep it a secret." Natsumi asks, hesitant.

"He also told us to use it when in desperate need. We can't beat this bitch as we are now, but..." I explain.

"I don't know what you're planning, but it's best to give up. Unless you want to end up like your friend over there." Ellen says with a chuckle. This bitch!

"Natsumi. Do it." I order.

"Okay then." Natsumi says, agreeing.

Natsumi walks up next to me and be we both begin to lower our energies... lower and lower.

"Ha! Lowering your Reiryoku? Whatever you're trying, it won't work!" The strongest bitch mocks.

"Who said we're lowering it?" I ask.

"What?" Ellen asks, confused from my words.

"We're using a power we've always had. One the guy you just stabbed helped us unlock. One your friend over there has been trying to achieve for a while now." I explain to the idiot. If I could see my face, I'm sure I'd have a manic grin on it.

"Y-You.. there's no way! Ike's been trying to Invert a Spirit for years!"

"Sit back and watch." I say, my and my fellow Spirit's power falling into negatives.

The familiar pressure appears.

Suddenly, Isaac begins to cackle like a madman. "AHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAH! He figured it out! He truly figured it out!" He holds his head back as he laughs to the sky.

Ellen focuses on steadying herself as the pressure around us increases and increases, Isaac's mad cackle in the back all but forgotten.

All at once, the building pressure stops, then exploding outwards, knocking the wizard back and causing the madman's coat blazer to rustle violently in the wind.

When the dust settles, their eyes widen in shock as they see our new forms.

Wasting no time. I summon Lucifugus' gun into my hand and lazily hold it next to my head as the sword appears in my other. "Now then Ellen, drop dead, would you?" I ask kindly.

"Damn you!" Ellen yells as I point my gun and shoot at her.

"Arie." I call out, firing a bullet that leaves a streak of white light as it travels, it creates a horrible 'screaming' sound as well. How annoying.

The bullet travels towards Ellen, who dodges it. Unfortunately for her, the bullet 'bounces' off of the air, flying straight into her back. "Gah!" She shouts in pain.

"I wasn't asking, Ellen." I say, dead serious.

To the side, Natsumi's broom fires off globs of flaming black 'mud'. Ellen moves to hit the mud with her lance, but they swerve around her blade and transform into ravens.

Ellen looks at the birds wide-eyed as they dive at her as one. She blocks the birds, but as we found out earlier, they have a nasty habit of exploding on contact. The blonde woman is knocked back a way as they explode in her face.

I summon Lucifugus' sword and cut a hole in reality. Stepping through it, I 'teleport' behind Ellen, still traveling backwards from the explosion of mud-ravens. She notices me, somehow. flipping around mid-air and blocking my slash, but the Inverse form increases my power drastically, so with a flex of my muscles and my Reiryoku, she's once again sent flying backwards.

Creating two clones behind her, the other two mes kick her upwards as she reaches them. Natsumi flies above her and channels mud around her broom's end.

BLAAAAM

With a sickening squelching sound, the flaming mud impacts Ellen and explodes, throwing her downwards. My two clones and I, on the ground charge Inverse Reiryoku into our blades, we slash through space itself and cleave into Ellen's side. She doesn't even have time to scream out in pain, the force of the clones' attack throwing her backwards, like a ragdoll, while cutting into her body, blood flying everywhere from her side.

Ellen rolls on the ground a ways, blood pooling on the ground around her. Soon, she comes to a stop.

Hmm... I wonder if she's getting dizzy from being thrown around by us so much? First Issei-kun and I, now Natsumi-chan and I.

The 'Strongest Wizard' slowly picks herself up, a pained expression on her face as blood trickles out from a gash just above her hip. She puts a hand to the wound, pulling it away, now stained completely red.

"Having some trouble there, Ellen dear?" I ask innocently, as Natsumi floating on her broom next to me.

Ellen growls at me, looking at her bloody hand, before clenching it and her teeth. "You WORTHLESS SPIRIT! I'm the strongest! ME! Your Inverse Form means nothing! NOTHING!"

"Oh~ I'd say you're quite fucked, Ellen-chan." A smug voice calls from behind us. Standing there is-

Standing right there behind us is Issei.

He has a hole in his clothes and armor, right where Ellen stabbed him. Instead of blood in the hole, all that's being revealed are his muscular abs, not a wound in sight.

"It's such a shame you detest being weak so much, you would do unto others the exact same that happened to you when you were a kid." He says, shaking his head. "I'm so disappointed in you, Ellen." He says, as though talking to a child.

"Issei-kun?!" "Issei?" We both ask, shocked.

"Yup." He says, likely smiling under his helmet.

"How?" Natsumi asks.

A few minutes ago.

NO! I'M NOT GONNA FUCKING BLACK OUT! FUCK THAT!

I'm not gonna let the girls down. Issac's not getting his grubby mitts on them!

NOT ON MY WATCH!

"H-H-Helel..." I call upon my angel. I'm so weak I can barely speak or control my energy. My Sephira Crystal pulses as Camael's blue flames burn on my wound.

"T-Thanks." My Crystal glows and pulses within me, in gratitude, as I watch Kurumi and Natsumi Inverse.

"W-Well... Sh-She's screwed..." I say, laughing weakly. Oh well, I'll jump back into the fight in a second.

"I got better." He says as he shrugs his shoulders.

"HOW?! I STABBED YOU?!" Ellen, whose voice sounds like a madwoman now, shrieks, pointing an accusing finger at the male Spirit.

"Hehehe..." Issei lets out a low chuckle. "T'was but a flesh wound." He walks forward. "Now then..."

Stopping his words, he holds his hand out as a sword appears in it. It's dark purple, with a single edge and gives off a sense of viciousness. He lifts it into the air as a dark-purple throne appears directly above it. The throne breaks down into small pieces that begin to fuse with the sword. It grows bigger and bigger as the throne dissolves. With a flourish, the sword's true form is revealed, a massive cruel looking, single bladed greatsword. Purple Inverse Reiryoku wreathes around the blade violently, it's energy is immense. It's enough to make me take a step back.

To my side, I see Natsumi wide-eyed at the power of the blade Issei-kun has summoned.

"This is the final sword." Issei says, holding the blade straight up into the air. "The final demon's final form."

"Wha-What is THAT?!" Ellen screeches, taking a frightened step back, wide eyed.

Moving my arm out, I motion Natsumi to back up. We both move back a ways from the incoming fight, if it will even be able to be called that.

The blade's power increases, it compresses it's energy. Waves of purple energy fly off of it, carving into the ground around us. It's pressure pushes us all back. Even the clone protecting Nia far behind us.

"In death, you shall know it's name." He brings the sword lower, now holding it with two hands.

"Now, begone." He raises the sword up, bringing out all of it's power. "PAR-SCHE-LEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEV!"

He brings the sword down as the world screams and all becomes a violent purple.

What... What in the hell was that?!

Parschelev, the true form of Nahemah, Tenka's sword. It takes a while to power up, but goddamn is it strong! Though I powered it up even further with Helel. Helel has much more Reiryoku than other angels, so it would take Tenka a minute or two to charge up something of the scale of what I just threw out. But for me, it only took a few seconds.

And yes, I did rip off Gilgamesh's NP a bit there. Why not?

As the smoke clears, I see Ellen on the ground, staring at me and the blade in fear, staring at the hole I've carved into the very rock surrounding this facility.

I aimed at an angle, so there is a massive curved slash that goes all the way from here, five stories below the earth, to the sky. I can even see the sky beginning to turn blue. Half of the room is destroyed, the very earth has been scarred, never to heal.

"Oh? It seems I missed?" I say, drawling out the final word, sadistically. "Allow me to rectify that." I begin to power up Parschelev again as I turn to the downed wizard.

"You-You'll pay for this!" Ellen shrieks as she flies out of the hole, fast as possible.

I dispel the sword, and chuckle. "Well." I say, turning to the girls, still Inversed. "That was easy."

"You missed on purpose." Kurumi doesn't question me.

"Where is he anyways?" Natsumi asks.

Looking around, I see no hide nor hair of the man. "Gone. The man's like a cockroach." I shrug. "Anyways, Kurumi's right, I intentionally missed."

"Why?" Nia asks, being carried by a clone of Kurumi.

"Ellen needs the shit beaten out of her, as well as that confidence, but she doesn't need to die, unlike that cunt Wescott." I explain. "Plus, I wanted to show them that there's an infinite number of threats to their plans, and I'm the biggest one. Also, I didn't use any of my other tricks, so they probably think I can only copy angels and demons, so they'll underestimate me a bit. This?" I ask, rhetorically, pointing to the gash in the wall. "This was a statement. 'Don't fuck with me', one they'll make a real effort to heed from now on." I say, serious.

"But..." I say, sighing. "We don't need to worry about them now, let's focus on getting outta here."

"I'll carry you, Nia-san." Natsumi says, as she and Kurumi deactivate their Inverse Mode.

"Thanks Nattsun~" The grey haired Spirit says, cheekily.

"N-Nattsun?!" Natsumi shrieks, eyes wide and face red.

"Looks like you've got another nickname." I tease.

"Hush!" The witch Spirit shouts as she holds Nia up.

Kurumi dispels her clone. "Shall we?" She asks. I nod, using a freshly made Michael to open a portal to home.

"Whoa." Nia says, awed.

"Well, ladies first." I say, motioning my hand towards the portal.

Nia and Natsumi, both smiling, go though the portal.

"Well, it certainly has been an eventful night, Issei-kun." The black-haired Spirit says suddenly.

"Yeah. I certainly didn't plan on nearly dying, though." I chuckle.

"Issei." Kurumi scolds me, saying my name warningly as her eyes narrow.

"After this, we're gonna train." I say, surprising her as her eyes widen a bit. "All of us. We need to be able to handle shit like this without relying on the Inverse Form." I stare directly into her eyes as I say this.

"Ufufu~ That conviction of yours has shown up again~" The worst Spirit coos, a fox-like grin on her face. She then walks to me and cups my checks with her hands. "Perhaps that's one reason why I've fallen for you, Issei-kun."

"Really? What else do you like about me, Kurumin~?" I ask, teasing her.

"Your acceptance." She says immediately, surprising me. "You know I've done horrible things, yet... you don't hate me."

"I could never hate you, Kurumi." I say softly, brushing a lock of her hair behind her ear.

"That makes me happy." She says happily.

"Besides, I did some bad shit tonight. Murder is murder, after all." I say. "Guess we're to peas in a pod."

"Ahaha! Yes, I suppose so!" She says with a genuine laugh, as she focuses on me.

We stare into one another's eyes. My dark reds meet her crimson and yellow. Time seems to stop all together.

The two of us unconsciously draw our faces closer to one another. Closer and closer until...

chu

...our lips meet.

Her lips are soft and taste an uncanny sweetness. Her arms wrap around my neck as mine wrap around her waist, both of us deepening the kiss.

The world around us has disappeared, the only thing in existence being each other.

After what seems like an eternity of bliss, we part and stare at one another longingly.

"Strange place to have a first kiss, though I'm not complaining." I say, breaking the silence with a smile, still reeling from it all.

"You'll hear co complaints from me." She says with a giggle, before shocking me once more. "I love you, Issei."

I gasp slightly. "Heh, I love you too, Kurumi. Let's get outta here." I say, grasping her hand. She nods and leans into my arm.

I don't think I've ever been this happy before. With the girl I love clinging to my arm, I feel all worries in life go away.

The two of us walk hand-in-hand through the portal that leads back home, a sublimely happy smile on our faces.

I'm gonna stop these DEM fuckers. Tonight has only served to strengthen my resolve.

I am NOT letting them hurt the ones I've come to care for.

Watch your ass, Wescott. If you wanna get the Spirits...

You're gonna have to go through me.

Hmm...

...How odd.

It seems that one has returned to this world.

It's even found a host.

The chance was always there, I suppose.

I do hope your host doesn't get in my way, Helel.

I won't let anything stop me from being with him again.

Nothing.

Nothing.

Nothing.

AN

And thus ends the re-written raid.

What did you all think of the fight? What do you who read the original think of the changes? I'd love to hear your thoughts.

As with the original version of this chapter, remember:

1) Ellen is strong as fuck.

2) Inverse Form is far stronger.

3) Issei is even stronger, but isn't invincible, not at all. He can get fucked up easily, especially when careless. Though he won't underestimate someone again. Remember, this was his first real fight. The one against the AST barely counted as a scuffle.

Also, yes, he ripped of Gilgamesh. And yes, I ripped off Angra Mainyu a bit for Natsumi's Inversed power.

I wonder though. Who was that at the end of the chapter...?

I hope you enjoyed this chapter and look forward to the next!
