Pairs : Sasuhina, Narusaku, Shikamaru/ino, and Kakashi/Kurenai.

Sasuke awakened just past midnight, he tasted blood in his mouth. His eyes shot open and his mind awakened fully. Instinctively he tried to activate his sharingan but instead felt disoriented. As if getting knocked across the face with a pipe, he took a few seconds to center himself. He tried again and felt the same thing happen again. He gritted his teeth and tried a third time, willing to power through the pain. But it didn't help, he couldn't activate his sharingan. He turned his head to the bathroom. He needed to reach it as soon as possible. As his feet touched the floor he felt needles across them.

He reached the bathroom in a frantic blur of steps as he couldn't get a solid control of his feet. Across from his bathroom mirror he stared in shock as he could not comprehend what reflected back. A brilliant green color had replaced the onyx colored eyes he had his entire life. His mind jumped to thinking it was a dream as the only rational thing that could explain it but then his stomach dropped. It was a feeling of a sudden unexpected freefall mixed with instant panic. He fell to his knees as he pressed his hands into the floor tiles of his bathroom. He began sweating buckets.

Once he felt the pain stop and regained control of himself he began coughing up blood and just as quickly left his apartment. A sense of urgency gripped him as he couldn't trust his own body at this point. As he jumped from rooftop to rooftop he noticed his legs strength begin to weaken. As if gravity suddenly began increasing the longer he moved. He felt it in his legs and his strength drain away, he was certain almost immediately that he wouldn't reach the hospital. He thought about Rocklees weights around his legs. Halfway to the Hospital his legs felt to him the equivalent of having 20 pound weights around each leg. And just as he was about 80 percent of the way he crashed into a building. Straight through the rooftop into the a table on the ground floor.

Sasuke blacked out almost immediately when he awakened he found Naruto hovering over him. His face turned from utter relief to shock. Sakura who was next him had the same reaction. Her smile morphed in seconds into disbelief.

"Give him space" Tsunade roared

Naruto backed up without hesitating for a second. Sakura followed after a minute. Tsunade ignored them and moved herself past the two and stationed herself in front of Sasuke.

"I don't know if your aware but your eyes…" Tsunade started but was stopped by Sasuke hand.

"They match Sakura's?" Sasuke asked his voice almost begging to be wrong.

Tsunade gave a single nod.

"Why?" Naruto asked without thinking. His lips moving without the rest of his mind even noticing.

They all turned towards him.

"I wouldn't disclose the medical condition of a patient, under any circumstance normally to anyone other than the patient but in this case…."

Tsunade pointed with her thumb backwards to Naruto. Naruto blinked twice before realizing she meant him. Sakura rolled her eyes. Sasuke just eyed Tsunade quietly .

"It's only a matter of time before Naruto eventually figures it out on his own, because this one over here won't tell him". Tsunade stated bluntly. She looked at Sasuke one last time , their eyes meeting. Sasuke gave a single nod.

"Its cancer, his eyes have developed a new type of cancer just discovered in him". Tsunade stated in a softed voice.

Naruto eyes teared up immediately. Sakura began to sob. Sasuke turned away refusing to look at them.

"Fix him granny Tsunade, please". Naruto begged.

"The cancer is at stage 1, he has time but its something just discovered in him. I don't know if we can find a cure in time". Tsunade replied softly. Her brown eyes staring into Naruto tear dripping eyes.

"He has until stage 3 to find a cure". Sakura stated in a muffled voice. She couldn't even muster the strength to sound optimistic. She knew the odds of a cure being found in something brand new.

Sakura lunged herself onto Sasuke and hugged him tightly. Tsunade pulled Naruto into a hug. Sasuke couldn't resist so he turned his head to the wall. His lips feeling dryer than the desert. With his throat matching it.
