And here is the next chapter of bad boy, I hope you enjoy this.
Hinata froze from the kiss, causing a growl to escape Gaara's. Here she was, standing in a dirty and broken bathroom that, quite literally, was smaller than her walk-in closet and having a make-out session with the very same male who had had her confused and utterly terrified all in one day.
And he was naked.
Hinata felt her cheeks heat up as reality began to sink in.
She had only come in here to check on Gaara and make sure he hadn't fallen or injured himself again, but, instead, she was caught staring at his privates and engaging in, what she felt, was an erotic and steamy make-out.
But then that voice appeared.
The damn voice, which she knew was a woman's by the high pitch squeak, interrupted them both.
"Oh, Gaara baby!"
Hinata felt a jolt of jealousy pass through her. The voice was far too familiar to be an acquaintance but too flirty to give as just a friend.
Abruptly, Hinata pushed herself from Gaara's grasp, which resulted in Gaara's brows crossing in confusion; then, he looked towards the bathroom door, where loud creaks on the rusty floorboard groaned under the weight of heels.
"Gaara, Baby?" A woman called from the apartment. A heavy thud of something fell on the ground, "I know we had a little dispute the other day, but we can put it all behind us and have a little fun… I have a surprise for you." The woman giggled.
Hinata's eyes were downcast in dismay; Gaara was just a player.
He was just playing with her.
She held back the tears that threatened to escape her eyes. Biting the inside of her cheek, she could taste the coppery taste of blood in her mouth.
Gaara looked at the young girl beside him, on the edge of tears spilling out and breaking out in rage; he lifted one finger for a moment, grabbed a towel on the rack, and walked out to deal with the girl in the next room.
"Gaara!" Karin grinned from ear to ear, "I have been waiting for you for so-" Gaara grabbed Karin's neck in rage. Immediately her hands grasped his forearms as she tried to peel his arms from her neck.
"I told you the other day!" He rasped, "NOT TO FUCKING ANNOY ME NEXT TIME!" He boomed, tightening his hold around her pale neck, and both began sliding down on the hard wooden floor.
"G…Ga…Gaa…" Karin protested weakly; she tried clawing and hitting his face weakly. However, Gaara clearly dominated. Dribble trickled down from the corners of her mouth as her face began to turn a light purple, her eyes turned upwards, and her little gasp of air became short.
"G… Gaara!" a cry emerged from the bathroom.
Gaara turned briskly towards the voice and found Hinata standing on the other side of the bench with her hands to her mouth in shock.
Gaara unconsciously loosened his hold on Karin's neck enough for her to catch her breath and knock Gaara off of her. She crawled across the floorboards as she tried to reach for her Chanel purse and pulled out a tiny handgun.
"I told you I had powerful friends who can lean me… a certain gift." She held the gun tightly in her hands as she stood shakily on her knees. Her hair, once in a bun, was disarrayed around her wet, glistering face.
Gaara stood up confidently and shielded Hinata from Karin's view. He could hear the faint gasp from Hinata as she watched him move as if the very person in front wasn't holding a gun, as of their lives weren't in danger.
"Karin." Gaara said sternly, "Put down the gun; there is no need for this type of violence." He inclined his head towards her, seeing her from a side view, taking her attention away from Hinata.
"Haha, oh, that's rich." Karin laughed; the gun in her hands was shaky, as if she was unsure, "You just attacked me!" she rasped, gripping the tiny gun unsurely in her hands, "You tried to kill me! You hurt me that day, Gaara; you really hurt me!" She screamed.
Hinata squirmed when Karin's high pitch scream reached her ears; the girl sure had an annoying voice. Hinata could catch a glimpse of Karin from the crook of Gaara's arms; she was tall, with long crimson hair matted and wet, long streaks of mascara and eyeliner running down her face, her lipstick was smeared, and her clothes disarrayed. However, even with her dismayed self, she was still attractive.
But a dangerous one.
From her point of view, she knew Karin had no gun experience; even with her timid self Hinata knew that the way she was holding the gun wasn't the proper handling of one; she saw Sasuke and Naruto handle one. Indeed Gaara could see this and would know what to do, wouldn't he?
"Karin…" Gaara took a step forward, and Karin took a step back, "I just want to talk to you… That's all…." He stepped towards her slowly; she was shaking and looking towards Gaara and Hinata frantically; she was just afraid as they were.
"Karin." Gaara whispered; he was just one step away from her, one inch away from taking the gun, "Karin." Gaara whispered again.
He took the gun expertly out of her hands; he tripped her on the wooden floorboards and pointed the gun at her.
"Wait, Gaara-" Karin brought her hands up to stop Gaara, but the gun went off before she could finish her sentence.
"G…Gaara?" Hinata questioned; Hinata had closed her eyes before seeing what Gaara was up to; the gun was so loud she had to cover her ears from the impact.
Reluctantly, Hinata opened her eyes to see Gaara standing over Karin's body, blood pooling around her.
He'd shot her in the head.
"G-Gaara?" Hinata choked on those words; she was unsure if the Gaara standing right in front of her was, in fact, the real Gaara. "G-Gaara…"She tried again, stepping back a few paces just to be sure.
Gaara looked at her from across the room; a sudden sadness crossed his face as he saw the girl take delicate steps away from him. She was afraid of him.
Looking back to the woman on the floor, he reached into her pockets and dialled a number on her phone, walking away from the dead woman to the front door, a towel just wrapped around his waist.
He just left Hinata there, alone and afraid.
Okay, okay, okay. Hinata repeated in her head over and over, breathing slowly as she tried to keep her mind straight. She waved her hands in the air as she paced in her position, from one wall to the other. What was she supposed to do now?
Was she meant to follow Gaara outside? Or was she told to just stand here obediently as if she was waiting for her master.
She knew Gaara was supposed to train her for what Sasuke had in store for her, for what exactly she didn't know. But after today, she felt like she knew exactly what he wanted her to do.
However, that was something other than what Hinata was prepared to do. She was a friendly and obedient, and quite shy, timid girl who wasn't even good enough to take over her own father's company in the future; she wasn't nearly capable of hurting or even killing someone.
Hinata sighed as she held her stomach; she was beginning to feel nauseous with all her thinking and the eventful happenings of the day. Walking over to the 'bedding', well more of vast lumps of blankets on the ground, she sat down wearily and looked out the window to ease her mind and, at the very least, try to forget all that had happened. She rested her head on the window as she watched the twinkle of lights in the distance and the comforting gaze of the moon.
Gaara was outside in the dark, just in a towel, trying to call his damn, forsaken, idiotic friend again; after the 10th call and third ring, he finally answered.
"Hm, yo." Naruto yawned on the other end.
"I killed Karin in front of Hinata." Gaara blurted out, a hand running through his, which he only realised was wet hair.
"Fuck!" Naruto sighed, "I'll be there in 10." He could hear a thud and a ruffle of clothes being tossed around.
"Hm." Gaara nodded and ended the call; he snapped the phone in half he tossed it in the drain beside the crooked curb. Sighing deeply, he closed his eyes and breathed out deeply.
Placing both hands on his head, he walked inside to face whatever consequence from the timid girl.
She was asleep by the window.
Her head rested, presumably, not so comfortably on the window, a hand under her chin as if to prompt her up, and she was half sprawled over his bed, hair tumbling over her shoulders.
Chuckling lightly, he walked over to the girl and fixed her into a much more comfortable position so that she was lying more relaxed on the bed.
She looked almost peaceful in his bed. Like a daydream. A perfect dream.
He shook his head; after today, she would probably want nothing to do with him; probably wouldn't even be the word, but most definitely would be more appropriate.
That would be the best way if she just disappeared from his life altogether if she got away from his life as fast as she could so she wouldn't be dragged into his world, his dangerous world.
She would be better off without him.
Safer.
He lightly took his hand and gently rubbed the back of his hand across her cheeks; they were very soft and warm and had a faint red tint. She smiled lightly under his touch as if it was a lover's touch. She was smiling.
He stared hard at her face; he didn't know what he felt, but something inside made him very sick, not a need to vomit, but a butterfly effect. His heart felt very heavy, and he felt… a need to be with her. There was something about her.
How did she fall asleep with a dead woman in the room?
He heard a ruffle of a bag behind; turning around, he saw Naruto standing in the doorway, holding his phone towards him and Hinata, trying his very hardest not to laugh or make a sound, with the shovel and body bag tucked under his arm.
"This… is…so…precious…" Naruto softly giggled.
"One day I will kill you…." Gaara said distastefully.
"C'mon…" He giggled, put his phone away and inclined his head to the shovel and body bag, "We have to hide the body in case someone calls the cops and, most importantly, before Hinata wakes up."
Gaara looked at the sleeping girl beside him, his hand still on her cheek; he nodded, "Hm." He got up and pulled out a pair of pants that littered the ground and an old jumper.
"Maybe you can just play it off as just a dream?" Naruto shrugged his shoulders and walked over to Karin's bleeding body.
Gaara shook his head, "I don't think I could." Getting up, he walked over to Naruto and Karin's slowly decaying bodies and helped lay out the body bag.
"Worth a shot." He shrugged, "Ya think we could do this while she sleeps?" He questioned.
"If you keep your mouth shut and shut up!" Gaara growled, wanting to get this task over and done with and as quickly as possible.
"Whoa, don't shoot the help!" Naruto lifted his hands up air and snorted.
Gaara looked at the sleeping girl in his bed; she was sleeping perfectly, unaware of the happening right in front of her.
She was sleeping like the dead.
"C'mon, prince charming!" Naruto cooed, laughing lightly, "We better get this over and done with." He said with seriousness.
Gaara nodded and helped lift the dead harpy in the bag and then off the ground and out of the room as quickly as possible.
When he returned from digging Karin's grave with Naruto, he was so consumed with the thoughts of the bluette and what her reactions would be the following day he took no notice of her presence in his own bed. He fell down on the bed and was soon lost to the world.
It was pretty chilly, but there was a hot and soft presence that was too enticing to leave. She cuddled further into the warmth, breathed in the alluring smell, and sighed heavenly.
She wanted to forever cuddle the warmth and breathe in the beautiful smell without ever opening her eyes.
However, the sun beamed through the uncurtained window and blinded her of her slumber. She covered her face with her arm and let out a groan of defeat.
She heard a chuckle beside her.
Slowing opening her eyes, she looked at the person beside her.
It was Gaara.
She had her head snuggled against his chest, her arm was wrapped around his torso, and he held her in his arms with a tight but soothing grip.
Hinata felt a blush forming across her face, embarrassed to be caught in such an intimate state with the redhead. He only half smirked at her red face.
Letting her go abruptly, he stretched out his tired muscles from last night and from such a sleepful night, which he hadn't had in such a long time.
Henceforth, it was a complete surprise for him to see her awake with her in his arms. Indeed it was a welcoming surprise.
Hinata looked at the red-haired in front of her. He was shirtless again, but this time he at least had a pair of pants on, which she was pretty thankful for, but they were riding relatively low on his hips, she could glimpse a faint V line, of course, after yesterday, she is pretty familiar as to what lurks beneath there.
Her face began to heat up again, and she was forced to look away before she fainted on the spot. Hinata suddenly was drawn to the area in the middle of the room; she began to wonder, was last night a dream?
"G…Gaara?" Hinata asked wearily, fidgeting with her fingers again.
"Hm?" He turned his head towards her lazily; she faintly heard his neck crack.
"D…Did last… N…night… R… really happen?" She let out a deep breath as she watched his reaction.
He looked to the ground in focused thought as if he needed to consider this himself.
"It did." He nodded.
"O…Oh." Hinata's breath hitched in the back of her throat.
"I'm…" Gaara sighed heavily, hardly saying the words; they filled his mouth with a bitter taste, "I'm so sorry, Hinata, from yesterday." He gritted his teeth in frustration.
"It's…it's okay." She smiled lightly.
Suddenly he looked at her hard; he leaned over and grabbed her forearms, "Tell… Me… The truth!" He tightened his hold on her forearms gently. He rasped, "What do you feel now?"
"I… I…" Hinata stuttered; she closed her eyes tightly, "I feel terrified!" She shouted.
Abruptly, he let her go, sat on the lump of sheets that he called his bed, and held his head in his hands.
Disbelief was written all over his face.
Hinata's eyes widened in disbelief at what she had just said, she reached out to Gaara, but he only grunted at her antics.
"I'm not afraid of you!" She said confidently. "I…I only… meant… I was… afraid… of what's…going… to happen to me." Tears prickled her eyes as she tried her very best to not stutter.
Gaara looked at the crying woman in front of him; tears began pouring down her face. Sincerely she was sorry.
He reached out a hand and gripped the back of her neck; she gasped at his sudden touch and brought her forehead to his.
Silently they looked at each other, reading each other's soul.
"I love you, Gaara…." Hinata said abruptly, shocking even herself.
Unconsciously, Gaara gripped the scar above his heart.
He said nothing.
This time, shockingly, Hinata was the first to lean in and give him a peck on the lips, to which Gaara was unsatisfied and smashed his lips against hers in a fierce battle that only he could win.
Unfortunately, Hinata's phone began to ring in deafening silence, forcing the two lovers to stop their passionate kiss.
Hurryingly, she tried to reach for her phone in her jacket to stop the annoying ring from the other end. However, Hinata's heart sank as she read the caller ID on her phone.
"Oh… No."
I am so sorry for such a long wait but, finally, here is the next chapter please R/R.
