**Prompts are NOT in chronological order

In this particular story, the future Morgan still lives with his parents. He was also found a little later post game than the other children of the future.

Also, time paradoxes are just so interesting.

In which a slightly older Morgan realizes his birthday is nine months after his father's birthday. (Reminder that Frederick's birthday is August 26th)

Made just in time for Morgan's canon birthday! (May 5th)

Happiest birthday you sweet child!

When Morgan woke up on this fine May morning, he knew immediately that something was off.

On these types of days, it wasn't just the feeling of waking up on the wrong side of the bed, or if something his room was haphazardly out of place, or even if the training session he had with Kjelle and Severa yesterday made his body unbelievably sore. It was such a beautiful sunny day too-but it was…simply just the feeling that something was off.

Stretching slightly, Morgan quietly rose up from the bed and started to get ready for the day.

It wasn't until he was finished that he realized that there was an abundance of activity outside of his room.

Blinking slightly, the young man quietly opened his door and to his shock, watched as many of the female Shepherds were bustling about. Morgan quietly gawked as he watched Lissa and Maribelle directing orders to the other servants, carrying healing staffs and running off deeper into the halls.

From the corner of his eye, he saw Sully and Cherche carrying two giant tubs that were filled to the brim with hot water. The steam rolling up and into their faces. Ironically, they made it look easy despite the sweat that had rolled down the sides of their temples. He observed silently as they swiftly carried the tubs down the hall in the direction of his parent's bedroom.

To his left, he saw Sumia running back and forth down the hall past the other two women- taking out soiled towels (oh sweet heavens was that blood?) and running back to replace them with new ones- and was that Tharja, out of all people, helping out by casting hexes?!

Flabbergasted, Morgan stepped out into the hall and surveyed the area for his father. Frederick the Wary was just down the hall in front of their master bedroom, pacing back and forth.

It was up until now that Morgan had realized that he had never seen his father in such a state.

Upon moving closer to him and further inspection, Morgan realized that his father- who was astonishingly still in his pajamas, had the most harrowed look to ever grace the already stoic knight's features.

Forlorn and exhausted, with his hands folded behind his back, the knight continued his pacing without looking at his older son. Frederick's eyes carried bags under them, which hinted that his father did not get much sleep. Morgan couldn't help but snort while he observed his father- his ever grim aura had made him look suddenly thirty years older.

Morgan firmly put a stop to his father's pacing with a solid hand and opened his mouth to speak, but Frederick beat him to it.

"Father, what's-"

"Your mother went into labor last night around two in the morning. Everyone running around here has been up since."

Shutting his mouth at that, Morgan stood in shock as apprehension grew in his gut. Looking up at a nearby clock and noting that it was almost lunchtime, the grim expression that was on his father's face was now beginning to grow onto his own face.

Deep in thought, Morgan couldn't help but to remind himself- his mother was having a hard pregnancy at this time.

It had been around last late September, the week after Frederick's birthday, when his parents had received the news.

At first, when Frederick and Robin had found out that they were expecting a child, they were ecstatic about the pregnancy. After their marriage, they had been trying for months to have a baby after Robin was found in the field, without the mark of Grima. During this time, they had found him- the future Morgan, in the Ruins of Time, and had brought him home with them.

For some reason, his ever robust mother had the most arduous pregnancy these past nine months.

During the duration of the pregnancy, Robin had numerous fainting spells that started around the third month and lasted well into the pregnancy. It had frightened her usually stoic husband so much that he forbade her from extraneous training. In addition, Frederick roped Lissa and Maribelle to constantly keep watch over her, much to Robin's chagrin. On top of that, Robin couldn't stomach anything to eat around the fifth month onwards, which made both Morgan and Frederick both frantically trying to find delicate foods that didn't trigger her gag reflex.

She unfortunately had also started to lose weight while pregnant, making her usual round face look sunken and gaunt. Her ever round belly began looking sharp on her frame instead of well rounded and healthy. Since his mother wasn't eating well, instead of a healthy, glowing look of pregnancy, Robin had always had a pasty pale color to her skin.

There would be days where his mother would rarely leave the bedroom, the sound of her throwing up the remains of either breakfast, lunch and/ or dinner and sobbing would be loud echoing from their room to have anyone who passed by the door unfortunately hear her.

His father during this time period would always come home early finding his beloved wife in such a state almost weekly. This would add to his growing stress as he would try to soothe his wife with a hot cup of tea, medicine, and sweet words to finally put her to a fitful sleep.

Days pass, and when the date of May fifth- his official birthday, finally came- went without event. Morgan remembered it being such a tense day as everyone in the home was on edge, waiting for the new baby to come out.

His parents had double- no triple times asked him if he made sure that the exact date of his birth was correct. When he had shown them his official birth certificate from his timeline, (which he had found comfortably tucked into one of the pages of a tome he had on him when they had found him), did his parents finally relented.

Then a day passed and then another- and much to Robin's chagrin, it was as if the child refused to come out to the world, wanting to stay tucked inside the womb of his mother.

It was by around the last full week of May where Frederick and Robin knew something was wrong.

Frederick the Wary had all but thrown his wits out the window and had consulted with Miriel, who had studied deliberately on why the Morgan of this timeline was not born on his actual birthdate.

It was truly a head scratcher, but Miriel had concluded that although he- the future Morgan, was born on May 5th, due to the complication of time paradoxes, there would be some differences with any, if not all, of the future children who would be born into the current timeline.

It had made sense in a way, for some of the other children who had traveled from the future had noticed stark differences in their current time counterparts that were completely different from what they remembered. This has certainly changed many things…

Thinking back, Morgan could remember the first example of time paradoxes that came from Severa, in which her counterpart's hair came out a brilliant red shade, more similar to her mother Cordelia's hair than her father Henry's stark white.

The second example would be of Lucina and her sister Cynthia, for the future sisters' birthdays were respectively on April 20th and May 14th. In addition, they had a two year age gap, with Lucina being the oldest. However, the current timeline that they resided in had other plans for their counterparts. Both sisters, to the surprise of everyone, had come into the world on the 20th day in April, making them twins.

Although time paradoxes were difficult to predict, Miriel had reassured Frederick, Robin, and the other Shepherds that their future children would be fine to mingle with their counterparts. In fact, Miriel encouraged them to grow up together as siblings. No one had objected to this idea, for the future children that traveled back in time and their respective parents had greatly expressed the wishes of staying and bonding with each other.

While he was deep in thought, a flurry of activity swirled around him, which caused his worried father to open the door to their bedroom to tend to his wife in labor. Minutes had turned into two hours until finally, Morgan blinked and found himself staring at Lissa, who had stood in front of him to be telling him something. The other female Shepherds from earlier standing around them, watching silently on.

Lissa, although exhausted, had a small smile growing on her face as she put her hand on his shoulder.

"- You can go in now- the you of this world finally decided to make his official entrance! Congrats Morgan- it looks like you're a big brother now…"

With that in mind, Morgan shook his head out of the clouds as he frantically rushed through the door, taking in the immediate sight of his parents and the little bundle that his mother was currently holding.

His mother had never looked so exhausted, delighted, and alleviated all at once. "Ah! Sweetheart! You're here! I had a hard time, but I finally pushed the baby out! Come here and meet him…"

Swallowing slightly, Morgan walked over slowly to peek over at the baby, who seemed to be sleeping without a care in the world. Glancing at his father, who had seemed to be wiping tear stained eyes furiously, Morgan couldn't help but ask, "How is he? Nothing out of the ordinary? All ten fingers and toes?"

Chuckling softly, it was his father who had hoarsely answered. "Yes, he's fine. He looks just like Robin. So therefore, he is perfect."

Satisfied, Morgan silently picked up his counterpart and realization hit him abruptly.

On May 26th, approximately nine months after his father's birthday, the Morgan of this timeline was born.

Laughing softly at this realization, Morgan smiled down at the other version of him sleeping peacefully in his arms.

Whispering softly into the baby's ears, Morgan couldn't bring himself to care at all when he felt happy tears slip down his face. "Happy birthday kid. You and I will be the best siblings ever."
