"Vic say something. I brought you here to get an opinion on which dress says i'm sorry for everything i put you through and for the shitty wife i have been." Andy yelled out of the fitting room looking at herself in the mirror. It's been a while since she dressed up. Thinking back the last time she went all out was at the wedding of Maya and Carina or better known as the day of their big fight that ruined everything. she shook her head and tried to focus on the dresses in front of her. "Andy what is taking so long? Do i need to come in and show you how to put on a dress?" Vic laughed and walked into to the fitting room finding Andy looking at herself in the mirror with tears in her eyes. "Owh Andy what is it?" She asked concerned "This dress... it looks like my wedding dress i didn't realize untill i put it on." She turned around facing Vic who immediately gave her a hug. "You know Andy i've never seen pictures of your wedding day." She says a little offended "Vic i'm sure you did!" "I'm pretty damn sure i didn't. Since you got married to your hot hot firefighter husband without your best friends and have been through so much the last years you never showed us. But if you looked anything like you do in this dress damn Herrera i get Sully i'm thinking about marrying you right now." they let out a belly laugh. "You want to see them? I have a few on my phone." Andy asked "OFCOURSE I DO! I want to see them all but first don't we need to pick out a dress for your hot date?" Vic looked at the dresses in the little fitting room and saw a Marine blue one with an open back. "I love the dress you have on but maybe it's a good thing to not wear a dress that looks like your wedding dress when you want to start over with the man you love. Try this one."

After they picked out a dress for Andy her date with Robert they grabbed a coffee before starting to walk back to the car. "VIC! What the hell." Andy let out when she felt herself being dragged into a store. "I already bought a dress and new shoes what are we doing here?" She asked confused "Herrera Herrera if you want your man to have his full attention you know a dress and shoes aren't enough for the night right? Do i really need to teach you everything." Vic laughed "I... Vic.. I haven't had sex since well.." Realizing she hadn't told her about the whole Beckett situation she quickly stopped herself before outing her secret. "I haven't had sex in months and it's been almost a year since Robert and i well." she started blushing "Months!?" Vic let out shocked "What happend to self care? it's time you get back to it. So do you want a two piece or a one piece?" "You're not going to let me get out of this store without lingerie are you?" Andy laughed "Nope so you better start looking." Andy ended up buying a red lace onepiece with a low back.

After dropping Vic off at her place she grabbed her phone looking at the checklist she made to make sure everything for the date was ready. There was one more thing she had to do. She grabbed her carkeys and drove to the station knowing Robert wasn't there since his shift hadnt started yet. Andy made her way inside and opened Roberts locker leaving a little surprise for him and made her way out of the station. Exhausted she finally made it home. Dean was out with Pru so she had the house all to herself. she tidied the living room and she put the bags on her bed to deal with later before taking a quick shower. After doing some chores Andy ended up on the couch in some sweats with a and a T-shirt. Andy grabbed her phone and opened the flower delivery app and ordered some flowers.

Just as she finalized the order she heard little footsteps running towards her "ANNIE!" Pru exclaimed excited "Hey Pruey! Where is dad?" Pru started giggling "Did you forgot that today is our pizza night? He is getting them out of the car. Annie did you get the dress?" She asked excited "Yes i did! do you want to see it?" Andy asked already knowing the answer "YES" Her little hand grabbed Andy's while running towards her aunties room. Pru jumped on Andy's bed next to the shopping bags. "How about i put it on and show you?" Pru nodded excited "Allright wait here okay!" Andy took the dress with her to the bathroom. "Annie what's taking so long" Pru knocked on the door impatient "Didn't i tell you to wait" she opened the door a little laughing. "Annie i think you are missing a part of your dress, where does this go?" Andy started blushing seeing Pru holding up her new lingerie set. "Uhm right it's for under the dress. It's to keep it in place so." She answered embarrassed. "Thank you" she quickly grabbed the little lace set out of Pru her hands before leaving the bathroom not wanting to explain her niece what lingerie is. She left the bathroom in her dress leaving Pru speechless. ''Wow! Annie you look like a princess. Will i look like you when i am big?" Andy let out a relieved laugh because Pru seemed to have forgotten the let's say other part of the dress "Pruey you will be the most beautifull princess ask your daddy you know he never lies" "Let's show daddy now!" Again she felt the tiny hands finding hers and dragging her to the living room where Dean was setting the table. "Daddy! Will i be a princess like auntie Annie when i grow up?" still lookking at her in awe "Damn Herrera! Robert is a very lucky man. You look great." He nodded approving the look before answering his daughters question. "Pruey you will be the most beautifull princess when you grow up." he gave Pru a kiss on her forehead before finishing settting the table "Does that mean i get a prince like uncle Robert?" "NO!" Both Dean and Andy let out laughing at the confused look on Pru's face. "We mean you have to be very big before you can get your own prince or princess!" Dean quickly explained. "Annie can i see you wear the other part of the dress now?" Pru asked "Wait Andy you bought two dresses? what are you planning?" Dean asked confused "Well it isn't exactly a dress" Andy started blushing "And not really a thing i can show my innocent niece or my male roommate. Blame Vic i wasnt planning on buying anything like that." Dean was speechless he shook his head understanding what she was talking about. "Herrera Herrera Herrera you are not showing my daughter that" He let out a laugh. "Pru how about we let your auntie change back to her normal clothes. Do you want to pick out a movie?" He tried to chabge the subject "Okay daddy." They started their usual pizza night cuddled up on the couch watching a disney movie while eating.

The dateday
Andy woke up early both excited and nervous for tonight. Everything had to be perfect. Dean already left for his shift and Pru was at daycare. She had a busy day today. Her therapist told her that she had to take care of both her psychical and mental health it was time to listen to her advice. For the first time in forever she decided to have a self care day while getting ready for her date with Robert. First she had an appointment for a manicure and pedicure after that she made an appointment to go to the hairdresser and get herself ready.

In the meantime Robert got to the station and opened his locker finding a note saying 'Wear me tonight ;) ' Underneath the note was one of his suits with a new marine blue tie. He smiled while looking at the note again. Andy really went all out didn't she. Just as he closed his locker he heard the team call his name. Confused what was going on he walked to the beanery. "Robert is there someone who needs to make up to you?" Ben asked "What are you talking about?" Robert looked at them confused "Turn around chief" Travis said. There was an amazing bouqet of flowers standing in a vase on top of the kitchen counter with a note attached to it. "Don't worry no one opened it as soon as we saw your name on it." Ben said relaxed. "But we're curious so don't wait too long we want to know no we NEED to know! Now hurry up before i lose my patience and read the letter myself!" Vic said excited. They really have come a long way. Finally the team felt somewhat like a group of friends or sometimes even family. Laughing a bit about the fact that his wife was doing everything to wow him for the first time since they started dating or well since they jumped to marriage. "I guess i like this romantic side of my wife" he let out a laugh opening the letter. "Some things are not to share." Robert smirked "owh come on Sully share!" Robert relaxed knowing Andy well enough she wouldn't mind them teasing about the whole date. He decided to make the letter a bigger thing than it trully was to tease them back. "So you want me to read the romantic and somehow dirty message my wife wrote for me?" :Yes! That's exactly what we want to know!" Vic screamed "Yeah no i'm out i don't want to get traumatized any further i already know too much." Dean looked disgusted. Robert took a picture of the flowers and texted Andy 'Really?! What are you planning?! I'm supposed to bring you flowers not the other way around.' Quickly he got a text back. 'Owh come on Robert i knew you would be old fashioned. Why shouldn't i be able to sent my husband flowers to prepare him for our date tonight? I hope you like them! I can't wait to see you tonight .

The rest of the shift went by fast. They had some calls but nothing serious.

Robert and Andy both got ready for their date.

Breathe in. Breathe out. Andy looked in the mirror and was surprised what a difference a haircut and new dress could make. 'What can go wrong? Why am i so nervous?' She asked herself ad she finished her makeup and grabbed her things before driving over to Robert.

She parked a little bit further so he wouldn't see his surprise immediately. Andy walked towards his or well their house before ringing the doorbell. Soon Robert dressed in his best suit including his new tie opened the door. She was speechless. It's been so long since she saw him in this suit. He looked her up and down a couple of times before focussing on her eyes. "Damnn" Andy couldnt help but bite her lip. "Damn indeed" Robert laughed closing the front door. "If i knew you would dress up like this on dates i would've done it sooner." Robert flirted while his hand found her lower back. "What can i say. I aim to please" Andy giggled and gave him a chaste kiss. "Shall we?" He nodded and grabbed her hand. They walked on the driveway in a comfortable silence before Robert started talking "The suit, the flowers and a new dress. Andy are you trying to wow me?" He looked over to his wife "Can't a girl treat her man like he should be treated? Maybe i'm Just romantic and like you told me we need to enjoy each others company and find our spark again. Don't worry the night will be filled with other surprises" "MORE?!" "Yes and we're close to the next one. Do you trust me?" She asked Always" "close your eyes." "Are you serious?" He looked at her confused "Yes" he closed his eyes and let Andy lead him to the next surprise. After a little walk she stopped him and put something in his hand. "You can open your eyes now" so he did. It took him a few seconds to get used to the light again. He looked down to his hand and up to Andy. "You didn't?" He looked at her with shock on his face "I sure did. It's yours till the end of the week.?"He walked around his dream car a few times before taking Andy into a hug. 'You know one day we will be able to buy it instead of rent it' she whispered. 'Thank you' he opened the cardoor for her before driving off to the by Andy given location.

They arrived at the most gorgeous place. A restaurant near the beach overlooking the skyline of Seattle. "Hi i made a reservation under the name Herrera." "Right this way, everything is set up for you." To Roberts surprise they didnt walk into the restaurant but the waiter lead them to a little table on the beach. "If you need anything let us know" the waiter nodded at them before walking back to the restaurant.

"I wanted us to enjoy our time without any people lurking. Just us, i hope thats okay with you." Robert leaned down and kissed her softly before answering. "It's perfect!" They sat down and looked at the table all set. There was champagne, tapas and so much more food waiting for them. Robert opened the champagne giving them both a glass. "I would like to toast our very first date and hopefully many more" he looked into her eyes "and to better days to come." Andy added. They both took a sip.

"Robert you know what i realized. You never gave up on our marriage but somewhere along the way i did." She looked down at her hands and saw one of his finding hers. "Andy let's not live in the past. We are here now. Both ready to spend the rest of our lives together." He tried to comfort her. "I don't Just want to tell you i'm all in i wanted to show you too. I want what we have, i want to be with you forever. Robert are you willing to fight for us, our marriage, spark and future together ?" She asked while holding up a ring.

"Andy i don't know what to say. You got me a ring?" Robert looked from the ring to Andy surprised. "I'm getting scared is this a i'm happy surprised or an Andy what the hell did you do now surprised?" Robert started laughing while grabbing her hand. "A happy surprise. You are full off surprises today. I always thought you didn't want rings." He asked confused. "I have had this ring for almost 2 years now" She said starting to blush "I was planning on giving it to you at our 2,5 year wedding anniversary but we all know what happend." Tearing up she caught his gaze "Andy i'm so happy to be here with you. We should listen to your therapist didn't she say we should enjoy each others company and don't make everything so heavy? Maybe we should focus on the fact that my wife is a pro at surprising her man with an amazing date." He gave her a sweet kiss on her hand. "You're right. If you already like this i think you'll like the other surprises i have in mind for you." she smirked and giggled like a smitten teenager "i'm at your mercy."

They enjoyed their dinner and each others company. The laughter, the champagne and food with the one they love. They caught up on everything that happend the last days, months the good and funny things.

After dinner they decided to enjoy the beach a little more. Andy grabbed a blanket out of the car and put it down on the beach. They laid down and snuggled up while watching the stars.

"I'm stuffed" Andy let out while rubbing her stomach. "I can see that" Robert laughed. "I almost look pregnant" she tried to joke but emotion caught up with her. "I'm sorry. This isn't an happy subject." She was carressing his chest with her fingers. "It's okay to talk about it you know. To be honest i often think about it too." He watched her reaction closely. When she didnt move " I always wondered how our life would look like if everything went different. We would have a newborn at home right now. The sleepless nights, the first smile us cuddling up with our little one more in love than ever." He teared up grieving the loss of their baby "Sometimes i have dreams about it. About us having a family." Andy looked up to him. "So do i the dreams are so realistic too." "You know after you told me you had a miscarriage i asked Luke to take care of her. I always have the idea it was a little Andy and know she is singing and dancing to some weird latin hit with her abuelo. Just like her mother." He kissed her forehead and saw the tears in her eyes. She looked up "You really asked Luke to take care of our Baby?" He nodded "Yes i know our Baby will be both safe and loved with Luke and your father" "Robert you deserved to celebrate the pregnancy with me and grieve the loss of the miscarriage together. I took that from you. I was selfish i kept telling myself it would hurt less for you not to know. I was wrong. It was easier for me to not talk about it so it wouldn't feel real." Tears rolled down her face ''I know you're sorry Andy. I hope this time we will truly have no more secrets left. Every good or bad thing in the future we will go through together. Who knows if we ever are lucky enough to get pregnant again we will celebrate it together this time." He kissed her forehead. "I love you" Andy whispered. They continued watching the stars in a comfortable silence. Thinking about what could be in their future.

After 30 minutes they got up and got to their car again.

They we're still parked in a public parking space. The only thing lighting up the car were the streetlights. "I missed you, this, us Just being us." She looked over to the drivers seat and saw him looking down at the ring she gave him earlier that night. Before he looked up and smirked "I'm happy you missed me" he said catching her gaze. "You surprised me tonight Andy" he leaned over to kiss her but stopped close enough to feel her breath on his lips teasing her just a little. "I missed you too" he whispered against her lips. "How about you thank me for the ring you can't stop looking at and kiss me like you did on our wedding day" not waiting any longer that is exactly what he did.

"Robert what are you up to? it's a rental we better not leave it with any stains." He looked at his wife amarouse and decided since she took care of the whole datenight this should be all about her. "Who said anything about stains?" Robert grinned at her leaning over to her chair pushing it all the way back making room for his plans.

Andy strokes her fingers across the back of his head trying to push him closer to her soaking core to control his movements while Robert keeps sucking. Before she knows it she hears Robert grunt against her thigh while one of his hands grabs her hand and pins it down on the carseat. He looks up at her licking his lips finding her gaze. "Andy, don't you know by now i don't need your assistence. some things you never forget. I'll get you there." He says smugly before continuing his task. Robert grabbed her waist and pulled her closer to his mouth. She bit her lip trying to silence her moans while looking down at him between her legs. "Thank God i rented the crazy big car you always wanted" She let out breathy laugh. "I like it when you take charge." He whispers before adding his fingers and pushing her over the edge. "Robert" she moaned out of breath. He gave her one last kiss on her thigh and fixed her underwear before leaning in to end his plans with a breathtaking kiss. "This is not how i planned to end our night. But i'm not complaining." She whispers against his lips before taking him into a slow makeout. She moved over finding her place on his lap. "Now it's my turn" Andy moved her hands towards the buttons of his shirt slowly unbuttoning his shirt and kissed him everywhere she could. Trying to remember the spots that made him weak in his knees. she quickly got her groove back. Like he said some things you never forget. Robert let out a quiet moan from the back of his throat when he felt Andy's lips travel from his neck to his colarbone biting lightly. God he missed her. She took him into a kiss while grinding on him slowly. Her hands found her way to the button of his pants she started to play with it slowly leaving him wanting more friction, more action, more contact and most of all more of her.

Before she could continue she heard her phone ring. "Owh come on seriously now" She grunted frustrated "Don't answer" Robert whispered caressing her waist. "What if it's important? I'll just see who it is hang on." She leaned over to grab her phone. "Shit, it's Pru's babysitter i have to take this. Hang on babe i'm sure she can't find something or Pru needs to hear my voice before falling asleep." She gave him a peck before picking up her phone. "Hello?" Immediately the babysitter started venting. "slow down i can't hear you what happend with Pru?" Andy asked worried "She had a terrible nightmare and keeps on screaming, she is so upset i tried everything but i can't calm her down. Dean is still on shift probably on call cause i couldn't reach him." The babysitter vented. "I'll be right there okay. Tell her that and whatever she tries don't leave her alone even when she asks. She will think you left her or are angry at her. Tell her that her Auntie Annie is on the way." She looked worried to Robert. "I'm so sorry babe Dean and i are the only ones who can calm her down after a nightmare. He is on call right now so this time it's on me." She felt so guilty that they couldnt continue their date "It's okay love we should go to her she needs her auntie Annie." He smiled at her "I promise i'll make it up to you" Andy grinned "Owh i know you will" She gave him a chaste kiss before moving back to the passengers side.

5 minutes later they got to Deans houseboat. "I better stay in the car before i traumatize someone." Robert looked down at his semi hard one Andy started laughing "Yeah we don't need her having any more nightmares and questions." She tried not to burst out laughing. "go to her. I'll be there as soon as i can" she nodded "Thanks for understanding" Andy leaned over to kiss him one more time "Babe don't. Not now please don't make this any harder." "Right right right" she giggled "i love you." She closed the door and ran to the babysitter who already opened the door for her. "Where is she? Is she okay?" Andy asked concerned "She is still in her room but she doesn't want to talk to me." The babysitter answered. "It's okay thank you for calling me i'll take it from here." Andy hurried to Pru her room. her heart broke hearing the cries and sniffs. "Hi Pruey. Is it okay if i come in?" Pru nodded and Andy took off her heels before sitting down on her bed. "Do you want to talk about it?" she shook her head "Is it okay if i lay down next to you untill you fall asleep like your daddy always does when you can't sleep?" "Yes please Annie" Pru whispered. Andy laid down next to her hugging Pru and started to play with her hair knowing that brought her some comfort. She would do anything to take all the pain away from her. Pru snuggled closer to Andy while she calmed down a little getting sleepy again. "Mami is that you?" She heard a confused Pru. Her heart broke the girl really needed her mom. Knowing what it is like to miss your mom from a young age she knew the thing Pru needed now was comfort. She hugged her closer "Shh mi hija i'm here, it's okay go back to sleep.

Robert got into the house and started walking to Pru's room when Pru started talking he decided to let his wife comfort her. Hearing Pru call Andy Mami took him back to the conversation they had on the beach and the fact that if she didn't have a miscarriage they would have their own baby who would call them mami and papi. Before Andy he never thought about wanting to be a father but somewhere along the way he started imagining them starting a little family. He heard Andy start singing a spanish lullaby and his heart melted knowing she would be such a great mom. He feels a tear slowly dripping down his face. He let's himself grieve the miscarriage for a few minutes before he decided to walk in.

What he sees melts his heart. Andy is cuddling Pru while Pru is snuggled in as close as she could. Both of their eyes are closed and Andy is still playing with Pru her hair who was wrapped up in a blanket like a little burrito. He takes off the jacket of his suit and walks over before slowly putting it over Andy so she wouldn't get cold. He sits down on the chair next to the bed and caresses her lower back under his jacket when he hears her mumble. "This isn't how i wanted our night to end i'm sorry." "Don't be we have our whole life together." Andy carefully turned around slowly with emotion written on her face trying to not wake up Pru. He leaned over and gave her a kiss on her forehead while she caressed his arm. "Take your time now okay, be there for her. i'll be in the living room.

"15 minutes later Pru was finally asleep. She walks to the living room and finds him making hot cocoa. Andy wraps her arms around him and rests her head on his back. He turns around in her arms. "Thank you for understanding" She whispers. He gave her another kiss on her forehead before wrapping his arms around her closely. "You know when i thought about where i wanted to be tonight i knew it was wrapped in your arms but i expected it to be at our place without clothes." She tried to hide her blushing face against his chest. "is that so?" Robert smirked. "I would be lying if i said our little car session was enough to satisfy my needs." He smiled "I'm sorry i'll try to take off a few days off to take care of your needs if you want" she laughed still feeling bad that he never got to finish. "Andy you wouldn't" "Why not i think it's a great reason to use up my vacation days." "Remember how we spent our first valentines day together?" Andy nodded and looked up to him "I wouldn't be mad if we decided to do that day or well weekend all over again." Andy blushed "Did we even sleep." She laughed "Sleep is for the weak i remember telling you that." She rolled her eyes at him "We'll get our chance soon and it won't be a quickie in the car." "Robert i think we finished the last task of the homework i got from my therapist." "Going on a date, don't fight about our issues and enjoy each others company and find our spark again?" "Owh yeah we succeeded." He stated proudly "How about we watch a movie? You can stay over i still have some clothes of you here. Don't ask" he started laughing "Only if i can choose the movie. I can't watch mamma mia one more time or i'll loose my mind" "Fine and remember no hanky panky mister we have little ears around." She grinned before she pulled his tie slowly and took him into a little make out. "I thought you said we have little ears around." Robert smiled at her. "well it takes enough to not jump you but it would be impossible not to kiss you looking so handsome in that suit." "Good i'll choose a movie if you get popcorn." They cuddle up on the couch while watching some boring movie Robert picked out after 30 minutes Andy gets an idea. She stops the movie leaving Robert confused. "Hang on i'll be right back"

She grabs her airpods and puts on some of their fave salsa music since the baby is asleep this would do. "Are you okay?" "More than okay!" She hands him one of the airpods and before starting their song she leans over to his other ear and whispers "this is how i wanted to continue our date. Robert Sullivan will you dance with me?" Looking down at the giggling woman in front of him he couldn't be more in love. It didn't feel like old times but it felt like they both grew a lot the last year and they could be an even better couple after all the shit they went through.
