Kei-Kei Yuki: Yep! Still stuck in the Naruto fandom! The idea of Naruko going feral was stuck in my head and I just had to write it out! Oh, any ideas some of you have mine? Please do share them, before I start getting into the Fourth Shinobi War!
What's Mine
Naruko couldn't believe what she was hearing. 'Sasuke has officially been labeled a Rogue Ninja? And who the hell is this Danzo dude that dethroned Tsunade-obaa?! And who the heck is this chick with a sword, and how dare she demand the teme's whereabouts?! And why the hell has that teme joined the damn Akatsuki?!' So many questions filled Naruko, a rage of anger bubbling in her chest. But Naruko knew better than to let it get the best of her. She tried to empathize and felt sorry for the two, understanding their pain and confusion concerning their master.
But that Kumogakure kunoichi just had to push it by threatening Sasuke's life. The flare of chakra issued from Naruko rendered Omi breathless, feeling as if a hand with claws was squeezing his neck. Karui was in no better condition. The fist she had aimed towards Naruko's face trembled. The pounding of her beating heart reached her eyes as the glaring ruby red fox eyes reminded her of a predator eyeing its prey.
"I tried to be patient with you. Heck, I even understand where you are coming from. You have every right to be mad, but..." Naruko took a step forward, eyes locked with Karui's, entering the other's personal space. "If you so much as lay a hand on him, I'll rip you apart." Naruko seductively whispered these words against Karui's lips.
Despite how much Karui wanted to respond, something held her back. More than likely, it was fear. Funny seeing how the blonde standing before her was at least half an inch shorter than Karui, giving off the impression of a ditzy blonde with no brains. Yet obliviously, one shouldn't judge a book by its cover. The feral look in her eyes said she had no problem following through with this threat and if Karui valued her life, it was best she walked away, no matter how much she detested it.
"I know I sound selfish. I know you may hate my guts. But..." A record of memories played inside Naruko's head. A bittersweet smile made its way to her face, catching the two Kumogakure shinobi's attention. "Sasuke is my responsibility. Everything he has done, I'll make sure to repay it back when I find him again. But don't you dare interfere." These words were both a promise and a threat. Karui hated it! She hated that she could not vent her anger, but something about those eyes made her want to trust the blonde short stack.
"Tch, just what is that Uchiha to you anyway?" Karui managed to bite out, dropping her arm to her side. By now, Naruko had regained control.
"Someone very special to me!" The hero of Konoha flashed Karui and Omi a sincere smile. The rays of sunlight created a halo over her head, to which the latter blushed and said,
"Damn it. She's cute."
"Damn it, Omi! You gotta be freaking kidding me?!"
Behind the tree, Sai was happy that he could finally breathe again as he was also affected by Naruko's display of possessiveness towards Sasuke. "Sometimes I don't know if I should envy Sasuke or fear for him. Either way, Naruko is too good for him," muttered Sai before announcing his presence to the group.
Kakashi entered the forest. Night had descended as the light of the moon casted a beautiful reflection onto the lake. Standing by the lake was Iruka, who looked to be in deep contemplation.
"Mind sharing your thoughts, Dolphin-chan?" asked Kakashi, standing beside the brunette.
"So, Sasuke-kun has been officially labeled as a Rogue Ninja, huh? It was bound to happen sooner or later. It's only thanks to Tsunade that he was kept off of the radar for this long." The news Iruka learned from Naruko honestly came as no surprise to the chunin.
Kakashi said nothing, sensing this wasn't the main issue bothering Iruka, though he bet Sasuke was still the main subject. "Naruko told me she wishes to speak to Raikage on Sasuke's behalf." Kakashi saw the chunin teacher's hands balled into a fist.
"I understand Sasuke and Naruko share a bond. Heck, I watched them grow up together! I know Sasuke-kun has been through a lot! Tragedy after tragedy that no child should go through, but... Why does my Naru-chan gotta be hurt in the process!? I don't want to be a selfish woman, Kakashi, but... I hate seeing her tear herself apart trying to save someone who is too far gone!" Iruka confessed, grimacing at the selfish words that came out of her mouth, but she was tired of seeing her Naruko shed tears and constantly get harmed by Sasuke.
"When will my Naruko get the happiness she deserves, huh?! Why, out of all the people in the universe, did she have to attach herself to Sasuke so much!? That she's willing to risk it all for him, huh?!" Iruka screamed with indignation in her voice, tears burning her eyes.
Reaching out his hands, Kakashi wiped the tears that fell down her cheeks. "Even though Naruko may not have realized it, you of all people should know why she's doing it. Love is a crazy thing, isn't it, Ruka-chan?"
Kakashi's words hit the mark because Iruka did know. Only those who have truly experienced it could understand the power that love could hold over a person: passion, romance, joy, and so many others. But love could also bring grief, hatred, and heartache.
"The feelings Naruko and Sasuke share go past that of mere friendship. Or even rivals, for that matter. Naruko is hell-bent on saving Sasuke from himself, and you and I both know nothing will hold her back. So, in the end, you have to ask yourself: Will Sasuke's hatred win out in the end, or will it be thawed by Naruko's love?" Kakashi shoved his hands into his pockets as both jonin and chunin gazed up at the moon.
"Uzumaki Naruko?" A repeated the name of the girl who proceeded to walk forward. Ignoring Karui scolding Omi, who commented and said, "Ah, it's the cute Konoha kunoichi," A paid no attention to the two, curious of what this girl had to say to him.
"Cancel the kill threat you placed on Sasuke." Naruko was blunt and to the point.
A scoffed at the ludicrous words she dared to sprout to his face. "Uchiha Sasuke is a criminal, and should be charged as such!"
"Oh, I think we have a misunderstanding." Naruko's bangs casted a shadow over her face, head tipped to the side. "This is not a request but a demand. Revoke the kill order on Sasuke, or I kill you."
Just like with Omi and Karui, bone-chilling chakra flared from Naruko. The irises of her eyes turned ruby-red, giving off the impression of an enraged kitsune. Sparks of lightning emitted from A's body as the situation looked dire, but Naruko did not care.
"Let me make this statement loud and clear: Uchiha Sasuke is my responsibility and mine only. Only I can beat him within an inch of his life and rip his flesh apart." Naruko stalked forward and giggled right in A's face, but nothing about that giggle was cute or innocent.
Yamato called Naruko's name in warning. The blonde paid him no attention. Kakashi tried to remain calm, but even he was affected, worried about Naruko's mental state.
"You wanna know why? It's because he's mine. His very existence and even his soul belong to me! Not you, the five Kage, or anyone else have the right to lay a hand on him, only me! So, if anyone is going to kill Sasuke, it's going to me. So let me say one more time, drop the kill order or forfeit your life to me. The choice is yours, Raikage."
Naruko's bold confession shocked those present speechless, even the Raikage though he was too mad to show it. A tense silence filled the area as Naruko and the Raikage stared down at each other, only to be broken by Omi.
"Fuck, that's kind of hot."
"Really, Omi?! Nothing about that screamed sane!"
