"You are dead."
"Only on the inside," Blaise says as Harry grabs him by his collar, choking him a little.
"No," Sirius grabs his godson, pulling him away from Blaise, who mourns the damage to his shirt. "Have you lost your mind?"
"Let me go," Harry fights Sirius, but while Harry's strong, Sirius is extraordinarily strong and has Harry subdued in seconds.
"What is the matter with you?" Sirius smacks Harry's head, "Stop it."
"Pathetic," Lucius says as Blaise recites the shirt's price, expecting to be paid back in full. "Cavemen," He sneers at Sirius and Harry. "No control over your base emotions."
"Shut the fuck up," Sirius warns Lucius before he continues.
"What is this about?" Severus stares at Blaise and Harry as if looking in a volumetric flask, with absolute curiosity.
"He thinks I bedded Draco." Blaise looks ready to cry. This was his favourite shirt. It is a limited edition Gucci.
"You did what?" Severus looks ready to kill someone. Lucius inches away from Severus.
"Way to take control of the situation." Sirius shakes his head at Lucius who makes an excuse and backs out of a room as if Narcissa just asked for affection. "Way to be the man of the house."
"I am going to slaughter you." The thought of anyone touching Draco makes Severus mad.
"Me?" Blaise practically majored in victimology. "After everything I have been through?" He gestures to his shirt, "Potter's the one mating with Draco."
"You didn't sleep with Draco?" Harry feels realization dawning on him, a little slow in his sleep-deprived state.
"Not for lack of trying." Blaise scoffs. Draco as a beta was only into women, the bore. Draco after he presented was a recluse who refused all of Blaise and Pansy's advances because he was waiting for his one true alpha, fucking prude.
"Go ahead," Sirius releases Harry who promptly punches Blaise square in the face.
"Draco usually goes for woman," Severus watches Blaise fall on the antique carpet with disdain. "And that apparently." He gives Harry a repulsed look. He cannot believe Harry still is to his day, his best student. He is no better than the rest of the alpha population, unhinged and unsophisticated, everything Severus has never thought himself to be.
"No, no," Sirius immediately intervenes when Harry manages to wrap his arm around Blaise's neck. "No murder." He cannot have his precious Harry going to prison. Sirius has a feeling Draco doesn't do conjugal visits.
"That would be wrong," Severus adds dryly.
"Fucking help me," Sirius orders Severus who rolls his eyes and helps separate the younger alphas.
"Look at what you did to your godson, you raised him so terribly." Severus blames Sirius for Harry's lack of emotional control.
"I am sorry," Sirius says as Blaise practically runs out of the room, Harry running after him. "Am I supposed to let him turn out like you?"
"What is that supposed to mean?" Snape's dark eyes narrow dangerously.
"You didn't even fight for her." Sirius throws up his hands. "You just let her leave. What kind of man are you?" Sirius understands that James and Lily were star-crossed lovers. However, if Remus had fallen in love with another, Sirius would have fought for his mate, not let him go off into the sunset with some other alpha, and then die in his arms. Sirius is not selfless enough to let Remus go.
"You are out of line." Severus takes a deep breath. He is not going to let one of James' imbecile friends lure him into some kind of panic attack. Severus can do that himself. "You supported that abhorrent coupling completely." Severus had begged Lily and James. They hadn't listened. They were both stubborn mules. It's where Harry gets his self-righteous attitude from. Sometimes, Severus likes to wonder what his and Lily's son would look and act like. It makes him hate Harry even more. He is proof that Lily will never be with Severus. She would rather be dead than be with Severus.
"I tried to talk them out of it." Sirius feels ashamed saying this but as much as he loves Harry more than anything, he would have liked for his parents to be alive. Even if Lily had to stay with Severus and James alone with his pain. There could have been some kind of co-parenting blended family situation, death was not the answer. Harry could have had a mother, a father, and a step-father, people who would do anything for him, and support him through all his hardships. Now all Harry's got are two terrified god-parents who are afraid of doing anything wrong. Sirius and Remus would die for Harry, but Sirius will never forgive himself for letting James and Lily go through with that absurd plan.
"You are not a good liar." Severus straightens his coat and flounces out the room before Sirius has a chance to explain himself further.
