I'm still writing this, don't worry, just been busy. Usually I write chapters in advance so I can upload them all at once.
That being said, expect some new chapters soon.

Tiff and Tuff watched as Kirby fumbled with the new warpstar (That's what Kirby was calling it) with a mix of concern and amusement. Mostly amusement because Kirby was taking his faults with stride, completely unaffected by the whole falling and landing flat on your face kinda deal.

"So uh, you're trying for the… 12th time now Kirby?" Tuff calls out as Kirby bought the warp start back to his starting spot. The lush Green Greens as his backdrop in a cool spring breeze cooled the clear sky.

Kirby turns and nods, "Yep yep! I can't stop trying! I'll figure this out!" He says cheerfully, seemingly unaffected by the scrapes all over his face and body.

"He has a lot of persistence, at least." Tiff shrugs, giving a nervous smile. This time Kirby held the warp star firmly from the top, trying to guide it that way.

At first it looked like Kirby had it, but the star began to wobble, shaking a bit as his grip loosened, starting to slip off to the side. He yelped and held on to the corner, quickly stabilizing once more with a smile, turning it around with ease.

"Hey! I got it!" He giggles, waving at the two yellow kids, who were standing up in amazement. Kirby was now flying around with glee.

"Don't go too high!" Tiff called out, waving back at Kirby,

"Go higher?"

"No!"

Kirby turned to the two cappy kids, confused before a harsh sharp wind struck from behind, knocking Kirby off the warp star as it flew away.

Kirby was more shocked than anything, falling right flat on his face before bouncing onto his back, grunting with a short groan and looking up at what seemed to be a large flying creature. With the sun in his eyes, all he could make out was his silhouette, the sharp wings and claws outside of their body being the most he could see.

"Are you ok Kirby?!"

Kirby shook his head and hopped right back on his feet, "Yeah, I'm ok! What was that?"

Tuff shrugged, "Beats me, we've never seen that before. Totally a big bird obviously but they're usually pretty peaceful."

"Big bird? Bigger than the ones here?!" Kirby said in awe.

Tuff chuckled, he knew Kirby was easy to impress but at the same time, that big bird came out of seemingly nowhere.

Much like the tree that fell right behind the trio, shocking them all as they bounced from the crash, blinking in surprise.

Waving away the dust, Tuff and Tiff looked right at each other,

"This is bad, we gotta tell dad!"

As the trio returned back to the castle, it became apparent that the sharp winds from earlier happened in Cappy Town as well, the townspeople trying to repair the damage of the fallen signs, broken windows and outdoor furniture that was thrown all over the place.

"Jeez! They've done so much damage from all the slicing they're doing! What's their problem!" Tuff says, looking all around as the group took a minute to take in what happened.

Kirby was concerned as he looked around at the town, everyone struggling to lift up the damage and rubble, everyone calling out to each other trying to make sure everyone was alright. Thankfully everyone was, but Kirby was upset to see everyone so scared as they were.

More determined than before, he sprinted to the castle, brushing past Tiff and Tuff who followed after him.

"Kirby, wait up!" Tiff called out as the two continued to run back to the castle on the hill.

Kirby pushed the castle doors open as he kept on running, Tiff and Tuff behind him still, slower as they were starting to run short on their breaths. Kirby was panting a bit too, but still was running on pure energy.

Tiff stopped running, putting her hands on her knees as she panted.

"Hah… Kirby… please wait for us!" She called out, making Kirby turn around while still running to see the two of them exhausted. Since he was distracted, he ran right into a soft belly, bouncing right off of him and falling right on the red rug.

"WATCH IT, WILL YA?!" A loud voice boomed, as Kirby looked up to an annoyed Dedede.

"Dedede! Did you-"

"I said watch it!" He says, pushing Kirby away as he was getting up, "What do you want now? Don't ya got a home to take care of?" He growls, starting to walk away.

The two cappy kids hurried over to help Kirby up, both staring at Dedede with an annoyed look on their faces.

"Hey Dedede! Don't you know what's been going on in the town?" Tuff snaps at him, pointing at him, "The whole village got destroyed because of some angry bird and you're only concerned about Kirby?!"

"I know about that, and that's why I'm walkin over to discuss what to do, until this pile of blubber ran right into me!"

"We need to see King Ebrum too! I wanna help!" Kirby calls out, trying to get up as Dedede crossed his arms.

"No way! You have no reason to be there!"

Tiff and Tuff, having enough of Dedede's nonsense, walked around him, Tiff holding Kirby's hand.

"Well we can be there because he's our dad, and Kirby's our friend, whether you like it or not!"

Kirby, Tuff and Tuff made it to the throne room, where Ebrum was looking out the window, notably concerned for his people rebuilding from the mess the bird caused, before turning to see his kids and Kirby.

"Tiff, Tuff! I'm so glad you too are alright. You are ok, right?"

"We're fine dad! We were with Kirby while he was practicing the warp star.." Tuff began,

"The what?" Dedede interrupted, as the kids glared at him,

"...and when Kirby was finally getting the hang of it, that big bird flew right by and knocked him off! Oh and a tree fell right behind us."

Ebrum was concerned a bit by how casual his son mentioned the tree falling so close to them, but if they were alright, he trusted that they were. Dedede marched forward towards the king with a grin on his face

"Well the way I see it… it's time we make a move and destroy this bird once and for all!" Dedede said proudly, pulling out a hammer the size of him, pressing the mallet onto the ground. Kirby looked in awe at the hammer, walking over to it to inspect but before he could get a good look, a purple hand pressed against his face and shoved him back. He fell onto his rear and looked up to see Escargoon slithering towards Dedede.

"Back off, puffball. If you want a closer look, he'll just smack you with it!" Escargoon exclaimed, the two giving a sly smirk to Kirby, who sighed and started getting up.

"You guys know the bird thing? What does he look like?" Kirby asks them.

"Eh?"

"Dedede wants to destroy the bird! So that means you guys know what he looks like!" Kirby says cheerfully, "Then the town and everyone in it will be ok!"

"Urrr…" Dedede was caught off guard by Kirby's cheerfulness, but mostly that he instantly called his bluff. Yes, he wanted to do some action to the bird, but only because he actually wanted to get more people in his favor so that he could take over the castle from Ebrum. He turned to Escargoo, who had just the same dumbfounded look on his face, unsure how to respond.

"I'm not declaring war on nature, Dedede. Settle down." Ebrum says in annoyance, rubbing his brow with his fingers, "However it's clear that this bird is agitated from something, so once we uncover what it is, we can-"

"It is Dyna Blade."

Kirby jumped as the rest of group turned to see a masked being, covered with his robe matching their gazes with his glowing yellow eyes.

Glowing… yellow eyes.

"Hey… I've seen you before!" Kirby exclaims, as the masked knight stepped forward, seemingly ignoring Kirby's response.

"Huh? You met Meta Knight?" Tuff asks as Kirby nods.

"I saw those same eyes here in the castle, you're Meta Knight?" Kirby asked once more, as Meta Knight continued to ignore him.

"Can he hear?" Kirby asks in confusion why the knight was ignoring him so.

"Yes, he can hear. Meta Knight, state your title to our friend here." Ebrum requests, "You're being impolite."

Meta Knight seemed as if he was trying to avoid narrowing his eyes at the king, and turned to face Kirby.

"I am Sir Meta Knight, the knight of this kingdom under Ebrum's rule and General Dedede's army. Now return home, as you are a civilian, we will settle this problem

Kirby was enamored once again, Meta Knight seemed so cool to him, his eyes sparkling in awe.

"Thank you Meta Knight, now you said you know who this is?" Ebrum asks, "Yeah cmon and spit it out already, you already got info on this?" Dedede adds on.

"She is a female bird on the higher part of the mountains across Cappy Town. She is acting rather erratic as of late, as the town shows."

"So do you know why she's so upset?" Tiff asks as Meta Knight turns to face her.

"That, I have not figured out. She doesn't speak and she isn't showing a reason why."

"Then ya know what?" Dedede grins as he spins his hammer once again, "I say we're havin some some fried chicken tonight once we're through with her!"

The king and his kids stared at him in annoyance, the knight keeping an unchanging gaze at the penguin's antics while Kirby was now thinking of the thought of fried chicken.

"Again, we are NOT declaring war on a single bird, nor are we going to be savages to her. We just need to figure out her problem so we can get things all calm again, understood?"

Dedede and Escargoon were silent for a bit, Meta Knight resumed talking with the king as Tiff and Tuff looked out the window to see the damage, Kirby following up with concern as well.

"It was so nice… now it's all destroyed…" Kirby says in an upset tone, "But why is she upset too? She shouldn't hurt others because she's unhappy.."

Tiff turned to the upset Kirby, "Sometimes others do bad things because they just don't know how to handle themselves. Sometimes they just need help."

"Help..?"

"Yeah, not everyone is ok. It's ok to be sad and angry, but if you let it get to you… well.." Tiff looks back out the window, "You'll start doing stuff like this."

Kirby looked back out the window with her, as he saw others in the town helping each other, making sure they were ok, and trying to put things back together. He took a minute to think before he made his mind up!

He hopped off the window still and ran out of the room.

"Hey! Where'd ya think you're going puffball?!" Escargoon shouts at Kirby, who turned around.

"I'm gonna go help her! No matter what!" Kirby responded without stopping, he left the hallways as Bandana Dee was entering, "See you soon Bandee!"

Bandana Dee was just as confused as Escargoon, Ebrum and Tuff, with Meta Knight glaring at the pink ball running out the door as he hoped it would be the last time he was going to see Kirby again.
