A few months later, Christine found that Raoul and Erik doted on her. It was something that felt good, but at the same time she felt awful for them. They were inadvertently neglecting each other.

They'd start to spend time together but the moment she called for one of them, they were at her side almost immediately. Sometimes they stayed there- leaving the other to clean up what they'd been doing.

She had to come up with a fix before one of them was actually bothered by it and it spiralled out of control. That was the last thing either of them needed. Especially after what Erik had done.

She didn't think it would go quite that far this time around but it was better safe than sorry.

It took awhile but she'd finally come up with a plan. She could spend some time with Meg. Meg surely wouldn't mind. It had been awhile since they'd actually been able to do so.

There had been many other things on her mind lately, thus it would benefit her as well as them. It was a win-win situation at the end of the day.

She had to be careful who she brought it up to, though. Erik would try to claim that he didn't mind the lack of attention.

He was always so accommodating. Sometimes to the point of not being entirely honest about his feelings. It was a habit and habits were hard to break- but this was one that he couldn't break quickly enough in her opinion.

So Christine settled on telling Raoul. He wouldn't be hard to convince. The man was a hopeless romantic at the end of the day.

He would jump at the chance to focus all of his attention on Erik in this sort of situation. He did seem to enjoy flustering the older man with his attempts, after all.

With this in mind, Christine finally apporached Raoul a couple days later. She had ensured that she'd sat it up with Meg beforehand, asking the woman to pick her up that evening.

Erik would just be coming back from work as she left, so he wouldn't be an obstacle that she needed to worry about. She loved the man but it was for his own good.

Christine wrapped her arms around his neck and pressed herself against him. She littered tiny kisses along his face, eliciting a chuckle from him as he wrapped his arms around her waist.

"What brought this one, Chrissy?" Raoul questioned curiously, pressing a few kisses of his own against her face.

Christine giggled lightly before stopping their little game by pecking his lips.

"Meg called. She's picking me up later for a girl's night. I promise I'll be careful but I need this." Christine informed gently, offering him the best puppy dog eyes she could manage.

She just wanted to be absolutely sure that he wouldn't argue against it. She knew that they were both very weak to this expression of hers.

It probably helped that she didn't use it very often. If she'd used it more often, Christine was pretty sure that it would lose it's effects.

"As long as you're careful, I see no harm in it. Besides- you deserve a chance to chill. I'm sure Erik and I can get a little overbearing." Raoul mused softly.

Christine couldn't help the snort that left her. It was true. Sometimes they went more than overboard. One would think that they'd never even seen a pregnant woman before.

She was sure that even if she pointed out that pregnant women weren't glass, they'd still be overly worried. Especially Erik. But that man worried about everything. It was simply in his nature.

"You said it, not me, my dear." Christine agreed, smirking faintly when Raoul clasped a hand to his chest in mock offense.

She leaned forward and pressed a lingering kiss to his lips in order to make it up to him.

Even if this had been her idea, there was absolutely nothing wrong with making the most out of the time that she had with him.

Work had been rather stressful and Erik couldn't wait to return to his lovers. He was sure that they were just as ready to relax as he was.

Well, Christine probably would be if Raoul wasn't. That was how it had been lately anyway. If she wasn't ready to relax, he would most definitely be surprised.

When he finally arrived back at the house, he was surprised to hear the sounds of soft music playing in the background as he opened the door.

He slowly stepped in, his visible brow arched questioningly. The sounds of cooking met his ears next and he sighed.

That was most definitely Raoul cooking.

He could only hope it was edible this time around. Raoul wasn't the best when it came to dinner. He was much better at breakfast if they were all honest with themselves.

Erik removed his tie and wandered around the house, searching for Christine. He didn't find her anywhere and it was beginning to worry him.

He nearly jumped out of his skin when strong arms wrapped around his waist. He relaxed a moment later.

He let out an irritated noise but that turned into a soft sigh when Raoul kissed the side of his neck. The man was too good at soothing them for his own good.

"Sorry! I didn't mean to startle you. Christine is out with Meg. It's just you and I here. I figured that we could make the most of that." Raoul purred, pressing another kiss to his neck.

"Mm? And how do you suppose we should do that?" Erik drawled huskily, tilting his head to the side ever so slightly in an attempt of offer more access.

The chuckle behind him brings a small flush to his cheeks and he sneers to himself. It's not entirely his fault that he's a little desperate at the moment.

It had been far too long since anything could be started. Which he understood but that didn't change the fact.

"Help me make dinner so we can eat and then we can have this discussion." Raoul responded easily enough, letting go.

The younger male headed into the kitchen without a second thought or word.

Of course. If that was what he had to do. He suddenly had a strong desire to skip dinner. Nevertheless, he followed after him.
