"Well," Ron tries to button his coat but fails. He's gained a lot of weight since the holidays, and considering another holiday season is upon them, he is only going to balloon up more. "That was short and sweet."

"Yes," Draco is in shock despite Severus having informed him that they would win this case. The judge had laughed at Lucius' appeal. Considering Draco is marked and happily mated, there is no reason to remove him from his alpha's care.

"I will see you later, son," Lucius addresses Draco, who avoids his gaze and stands behind Harry. "Until we meet again."

"Fuck off," Harry rolls his eyes when Lucius growls at him.

"Eat a dick," Ron calls out and then hides behind Draco, who is hiding behind Harry when Lucius glares at him murderously.

"Future father of my children," Hermione gestures toward Ron, who calls out more obscenities after Lucius until his black vehicle with tinted windows disappears around the corner. "Shall we celebrate?"

"No," Severus responds before he flounces off.

"I am going to have to agree with Severus," Sirius grabs Remus' waist. "Don't come home until later." He tells Harry.

"Oh god," Harry makes a face when he realizes his parents are going to have sex.

"Old people have needs too," Ron shrugs, "It's nothing to be ashamed of, Harry."

"Your father gives it to your mother," Harry tells Ron, who covers his ears and starts singing. "It's why you have so many siblings, because they have sex every day, and there is no birth control."

"Where would you like to go?" Hermione addresses Draco politely as their husbands roughhouse like a pair of preteen boys. While she doesn't care for the blond, he is Harry's mate and will be in her life indefinitely. Fate has a strange sense of humour.

"Anywhere is fine with me." Draco has no idea how to act around her.

"Buffet," Ron uncovers his ears and covers Harry's face with his hand, frowning when the alpha licks his palm.

"Do we always have to go to a buffet?" Hermione says, sadly as they start walking to her car.

"How often do they do this?" Draco asks her as Harry and Ron start giggling about something completely unfunny and childish.

"Don't ask," Hermione responds, as Harry and Ron pile in the back, leaving her to drive, and Draco in the passenger's seat.

"So," Hermione asks, curiosity written on her intelligent features. "How was the sex?" She questions, making Harry choke on his bite, and Ron looks as if he will vomit.

"It was very good," Draco responds casually as if speaking of mundane things, "Excellent even. Harry is an amazing lover."

"I am going to kill myself," Ron announces, making Harry cover his face with both hands, "This is your final revenge isn't it?" He asks Draco who smirks devilishly, "You planned on being Harry's mate didn't you?"

"That's impossible, darling," Hermione knows that there is no way to predetermine mates, it's all decided by nature, the day someone is born, perhaps even before. Some people are born without mates and meet painful ends. It's a fascinating area of study. Hermione is thinking of conducting research in this area.

"Do you want to…" Harry doesn't even finish, just takes off with Ron, who pouts, not having had his way with the buffet just yet.

"Continue," Hermione urges Draco after Ron and Harry have run off like children to explore the mall the restaurant is located in.

"He's good in bed," Draco pushes around his tiramisu in its tiny dish, "And very respectful."

"Of course, he is," Hermione doesn't sound surprised at all. "Harry is a saint."

"Then how did I get him as a mate?" Draco wonders aloud.

"Oh, my," Hermione blinks, surprised, as a little girl, not even four years old, approaches Draco and looks up at him with big hazel eyes, holding up her arms.

"What do I do?" Draco looks at the child, confused as she takes the liberty to crawl in his lap, trying to steal his tiramisu.

"I think she's lost." Hermione looks around, not noticing any parents missing their baby.

"And she's sitting with me because…" Draco raises an eyebrow as the little girl, with auburn pigtails, finishes the dessert and then leans back against his chest.

"Children like omegas," Hermione knows Draco presented late, and may not know everything about being a submissive. "You make her feel safe. She is lost and missing her guardians."

"Oh," Draco says tonelessly, "Should we leave her somewhere?" His mother is an omega, and as god is his witness, he has never been lured in by her scent. If anything he is repelled by it. The putrid aroma of her expensive but horrid perfume is enough to induce panic attacks.

"Draco!" Hermione smiles comfortingly at the little girl, who clutches the omega's shirt in her little hands, comforted by his scent. "No. We have to find her parents." She wouldn't even leave her with mall guards because who knows what kind of perverts roam this place.

"Mione," Ron runs back in the restaurant, "The new arcade just opened, can we go?"

"No, Ronald," Hermione slaps her husband's hand where he is trying to get money for tokens from her purse, "You may not."

"Hey," Harry follows Ron inside, "Who is this?" He frowns at the cute little toddler in his mate's lap.

"I was pregnant and didn't tell you," Draco sighs, stroking the child's head, as she nuzzles his chest, sleepy. "It's a girl."

"I know he's joking," Ron says, troubled, "Please tell me he's joking."

"She's got the wrong hair colour to be ours." Harry smiles kindly at the little girl clutching Draco's collar like a lifeline. Their baby would be a brunette or a blond.

"Yes," Draco feels like messing with Ron's again because it's easy fun, "She looks more like a Weasley child." He turns toward Ron, "I hope you are willing to step up and help me support our daughter."

"Why don't you," Hermione hands her husband some bills before he has an aneurysm, "Take Harry and we will go look for her parents."

"…" Harry is stunned by the gorgeous sight of his mate with a baby. He wishes it was his child in Draco's arms. He looks even more angelic and stunning with a child. Harry didn't think he could love his mate more, but here he is, even more in love.

"Let's go," Ron grabs Harry's elbow and pulls.

Until then, Harry will just have to make do with Ron as a child.

"Hi, sweetie," Hermione helps Draco stand with the little girl, making sure the blond doesn't lose his balance because he is not used to holding children, judging by the shocked look on his pretty face, "Do you know where your mommy and daddy are?"

"If she knew that, she wouldn't be here," Draco responds dryly, letting the little girl hug him tightly. "She is lost."

"I see that," Hermione says as she calls the police non-emergency line. After talking to them, she hangs up and informs Draco that he will have to keep her until they locate her parents.

"Splendid." Draco says, "What am I supposed to do with her?" He looks down at the little girl sucking her thumb.

"Give her to Remus," Hermione shrugs. It's what she's considering doing when she has a child. Ron's parents are her second choice.
