Sorry for the long break, but I'M BACK BABY! And with the renewed vigor as someone who watched Big Hero 6 on the Movie Marathon yesterday.

OOH I love Big Hero 6

But anyway, without further ado, Chapter Two!

Gotta Make It

Hiro followed the trajectory of Baymax's fist through the portal world. He stopped when the scene seemed similar enough to when he first came through the portal. It was hard to tell though, as debris moved and the giant clouds seemed far away.

Hiro came to his 'destination'. He positioned himself so that he could see a portion of KreiTech's roof on the left, a pink cloud with a blue swirl on the right, a bright white expanse in front of him. The reverse of what he saw when he first came through the portal. At least he hoped.

It looked similar enough to his memories, but what if he was wrong? What if that wasn't when he first came through the portal, but sometime after? What if he got confused with another spot.

Every second Hiro waited was agony. He second-guessed himself constantly. But there was no way to be certain of anything unless he waited in that spot. It was his best bet. But OHH if only it would feel like the best bet.

Just when Hiro was going to turn back and try finding Baymax again, he saw some glimmer in the corner of his eye. He turned, could it be?

But as he turned to the glimmer, it was just a piece of glass from the old KreiTec building, reflecting a light into his eyes. A strange light, pink one second, blue the next. Like from the portals.

A portal!

Hiro looked towards the area he thought the glass was reflecting. He couldn't see the portal, but he was losing precious time just looking like this. He picked out the reflective piece of glass from the flotilla surrounding him and used his rockets to fly toward it.

He slowed down as he got to the glass and looked onto it. If he angled himself just right, he could see the reflection. It really was a portal! But it was glitchy and unstable. He would have to hurry.

He turned to where the glass was facing. It was far, but he could see the portal. Hiro kicked off of the glass to accelerate before turning on his rocket boosters.

"Come on, come on! Faster!" He groaned. The portal was too far. And it was already glitching. It was bound to collapse any second.

…..

Baymax looked at the portal, scanning it. "Hiro is there. He is unharmed."

Fred jumped towards the portal, crouching by it. "Honey's right, let's go find Hiro."

"You sure that's a good idea?" Wasabi questioned. "The portal's unstable- Look at that!" He pointed as the three-point portal spun and glitched pink, orange, and blue.

"But portal travel! And a risky rescue!" Fred whined. "It's what comics are made of."

"Risky like it's prob'ly gonna explode?!" Wasabi's voice rose

"Of course. Explosives are a given." Fred gave a dismissive wave with his hand.

"I'm siding with Wasabi." GoGo leaned to one side. "We're not ready to travel in there, and we don't know if the portal will even stay open"

"Hiro's in there, we have to try." Honey Lemon stepped bravely towards the portal. GoGo blocked her path. Honey protested "He went in there for Abigail, and he got out okay."

"But what about Baymax? He sacrificed himself then, what if we have to sacrifice more now? Only Baymax and Hiro have rockets." GoGo emphasized, putting her finger down. "We're. not. ready."

"Plus, the portal's unstable." Wasabi said, backing away from it. It flickered orange and pink, restless and hungry. Fred hopped back, not prepared to be consumed.

The portal started making a vortex, the wind blew in Honey Lemon's long hair. "What about Tadashi's words? Someone has to help."

"Uh, guys?" Wasabi watched as some tools were sucked into the portal.

"We WILL help, just not yet!" GoGo slammed her hand on a table. Which was soon dragged back by the portal. GoGo was pulled as well, but being on roller blades, she rolled towards the portal much faster.

"GoGo!" Honey Lemon reached out and grabbed GoGo's hand, holding her in mid-air as her skates went flying into the vortex. The two girls yelled and strained as Honey's feet slid on the floor.

Wasabi held onto the hole he cut from the wall. Fred blew fire at the portal, trying and failing to stop it. Someone would need to physically disable it. But whoever did that risked getting sucked in.

But if they didn't shut down the portal, all of Big Hero Six would get trapped inside. Not seeing another option, Wasabi kicked one of the marbles. The portal lost connection and fizzled out, bringing gravity back towards earth.

….

"Almost there. Come ON!" Hiro tried to gain more speed. He still had a while to go until he reached the portal, but now he was close enough to make out the wrenches and hammers it spewed.

Hiro saw GoGo's yellow disks. She was probably fighting Sirque! He had time to get out and stabilize the portal before anyone got hurt.

But then a wave of hot orange flames burst forth from the portal. Hiro had to stop himself as to not fly into them. But by the time the smoke cleared… the portal was gone.

"No- No. NO" Hiro looked around. Hoping against hope that the portal was still there. That it didn't explode before his eyes.

But there was no portal. Just the traces of smoke that it just spewed. The tools and table that just came out of it. The two yellow disks that were GoGo's choice weapon and mode of transportation.

"What happened out there?" Hiro floated towards a disk, looking at it as if it would give an answer. He grabbed it slowly, as if a single touch could make it disappear. "What happened to my friends?"

He looked where the portal once was. Faced with the sudden large emptiness all around him.

"Are they… gone?"

SO… This is a lot more angsty than I planned it to be. XD

That whole part, where Hiro thinks the portal explodes at the others are dead? Yeah, that all happened just now. All sprung from the thought 'hey, GoGo would just roll in with those skates on.'

So now we have this angsty thing where Hiro thinks his friends are dead. In a parallel to how Tadashi died no less.

Read that last section again and just imagine the similarities to That Scene: GoGo's disk flies to the side like Tadashi's hat. Hiro reversing when faced with orange flames like when the building blew. And, y'know them both being 'explosions'.

I wasn't kidding when I said I'd take us down Trauma Town.

Anyway, I will be going with option 2 of the endings I left last chapter. Big Hero 6(5) WILL get Hiro back after a few weeks of searching, (and possibly a few twists on the way).

See ya next time I update. Byee
