Welcome back everyone. Sorry I haven't updated in so long. I've been busy with a lot of stuff and…. Well you know the usual. So let's just go straight to the story. Also I have a new cover art made by Petrus C Visagie. Check out his/her account on Twitter and Deviantart. And thank you musizlover2008 for making the commission.

Lana: Previously on Loud Hearts,

"So who's ready to go to a new world?"

"I am!" Lana said just as excited.

"Oh sorry. My name is Katara."

"Thanks Katara. I'm Lana."

"I'm Lincoln by the way. And this is Star, Marco and Steven."

"What are a bunch of kids like you doing out here?"

"We are also looking for some friends of ours. They...got lost. Have you seen anyone else recently?"

"We were about to take them to a place called Full Moon Bay."

"I didn't think there would be so many people here."

"The fire nation has affected many people."

"Their training is going very well. They are growing stronger than I expected."

"Well I was wondering how much I would be able to control these creatures, the heartless? with those brats traveling the different worlds I thought I could use extra security, and soldiers."

"As much as you like."

"Your going to get to Ba Sing Se. I'll take you through the Serpent's Pass."

"I really hope you were right Sokka. I really hope you were right."

Arc 3 The Four Nations Part 2

Steven: The author does not own any characters or shows in this fic.

Sadly.

The team is now walking down the Serpent's Pass it's path seeming to be endless. It was wide enough for them to walk two or three side by side. There are other parts not as wide though.

Lincoln being the overprotective brother he is was making sure Lana didn't get too close to the edge.

"Lana, not so close to the edge! It could be unstable!" Lincoln yelled. Said sister was actually a couple feet away from the edge.

"Lincoln don't worry about me. I'm looking where I'm going." But her words betrayed her as her foot stumbled on a loose rock. It caused her body to turn on its side making her head lean over the edge! She looked down and saw the violent waves crashing against the wall of the path. Lana had either forgotten or didn't notice how hi up they were now but either way she was scared half to death!

In a blink of an eye she jumped over to her brother clinging most of her body to the side of Lincoln's head. Lincoln was heading to her to make sure she was okay and was the closest person. Even then the others took a moment to notice where she went and all of them had to hold off giggles. Even Lincoln to an extent.

"What did I tell you?" Lincoln said, checking his sister to see if she was okay. At least as best as he could with her shaking his head from all the trembling.

"You okay Lana?" Steven asked.

"I'mfinewhydoyouthinkI'mnotfineIalmostdidn'tfalloftheedgeoranythingI'mnotscaredifthat'swhatyou'rethinking." Lana rambled.

Lincoln was shocked. He figured that may have given Lana a scare but he didn't think she was so afraid of heights. He was so used to her being the 'queen of risks' that he forgot that even Lana still had some fears. But he couldn't remember this being a problem so Lana must have kept it secret.

"it's okay Lana. I got you." Lincoln said calming her down his hand rubbing her leg, mainly because it was the only way Lincoln could reach her. Lana's breathing calmed down along with the shaking. Lincoln told her to climb onto his shoulders and she did.

After everyone made sure Lana was okay they continued walking. Mostly in silence. Some of this was due to what happened at the gate.

Flashback to the gate

"...hope is just a distraction. So maybe we do need to abandon it." Aang said.

"What are you talking about?" Katara and Marco asked at the same time.

"Hope isn't going to get us to Be Sing Sa and it's not going to find Appa or anyone else for that matter." He said looking back at the two. "We need to focus on what we're doing right now and that's getting across this pass." Even Lincoln and his group seemed surprised by what he said. Despite not knowing him for long Aang seems like a usually cheerful person.

"Okay. If you say so." Katara said with a sigh.

End flashback

This had Lincoln thinking about it ever since. Should he abandon hope to find his sisters and friends. Now that he thought about it, he and Aang seem to have a lot in common.

"Lincoln…. Lincoln you okay?" Lana asked, still on top of his head.

"Hmmm...oh yeah I'm fine. Just thinking." He told his sister. His tone suggested he didn't want to talk but Lana didn't catch on.

"What about?" She asked with innocent curiosity.

"Nothing important." Lincoln told her trying hard to not give her any suspicion.

"Here Lincoln let me take her. You look like you could use a break." Katara offered. Lincoln agreed before scooping Lana off and handing the small child to her.

"Hey Katara."

"Yes Lana?"

"How did the war start?" She asked. Katara stopped in her tracks thinking. She turned to Lincoln who seemed shocked if not curious himself. She seemed to ask if she could tell.

Lincoln just simply nodded thinking that this was inevitable. Either Lana would ask or someone else would. Heck he's been wanting to ask. Katara then started to explain. (Y'all knew this coming)

"Well long ago the Four Nations, the water tribes, earth kingdom, fire nation, and the air nomads lived in harmony. But then everything changed when the fire nation attacked. Only the Avatar, master of all four elements, could stop them. But suddenly, when the world needed him the most, he vanished. That was said to be a hundred years ago. After the previous avatar vanished the fire nation hunted down and...killed Aang's people knowing that the next avatar would be an airbender. Then we found Aang. The next Avatar. He was frozen in an iceberg along with Appa. His airbending skills are great and so is his water. But he still had a lot to learn. But I...we believe Aang can save the world." She looked at said boy who was in front of her. He didn't show if he heard.

"Wow." Was all Lincoln's group could really say.

"The fire nation actually controls the western lakes. Word is they're working on a secret project that they don't want anyone to know about." Suki said as they saw that there was a fire nation warship. Thankfully they haven't been spotted. Near the end of the line where Ying and Than are Than his helping his wife when suddenly the rock under him!

"Than!" Ling yelled. His sister gasped in shock. Before he could fall far though Toph was able to bend the rock to catch him. He was able to climb back up thanks to his sister and wife. Sadly the rock fell causing a huge splash in the ocean.

Sokka turned to the fire nation ship and saw that there was a lot more movement on the ship. "They spotted us! Let's go! Lets go!" He yelled. Just then a flaming boulder came right towards them!

Before anyone else could react Aang used his airbending to jump up to the giant rock and send it back to the ship. A second shot was fired and hit the wall of the path creating an avalanche right above Suki and Marco!

"Suki!" "Marco!" Sokka and Star said respectively. Both pushed their respective friends out of the way, being not too far behind them. Both looked up at the rocks Star was about to use a spell when another part of the wall came out acting as a ramp and cover for the two. Both looked and saw Toph had made it.

"Suki are you okay?" Sokka yelled checking on his friend.

"You okay Marco?" Star asked.

"I'm fine thanks Star." Said boy responded. The two then saw Toph grumbling about something before they realised they needed to run.

"Hey Toph, thanks for the save but we need to go." Star said. She could have sworn there was a smile on Toph for just a second.

"Right." Toph said following the two. By now most of the others gave run ahead. Leaving Lincoln, Steven, and Aang behind.(Lana was/is still with Katara) The three stayed with Than and his family to make sure they would be safe. Thankfully the ship was damaged enough that they weren't firing anymore.

"Lets catch up to the others." Steven said. Right before he could continue on the path through an invisible wall appeared causing Steven to go straight into it. The next thing they all knew the Heartless showed up! But something was different about these ones. They looked similar to a soldier but are red and the shoulders and head have spikes, it still has the tin hat. And instead of the heart symbol is a fire nation symbol. The scariest change though is the eyes. They look more angry and aggressive and are red instead of yellow.

"They almost resemble fire nation soldiers." Aang said shocked. "But why?"

"You know about as much as us Aang." Lincoln said annoyed there was yet a new enemy. One that seems to be related more to the world.

"Steven, we need you to make a barrier around Than and his family. Whatever happens, don't let them get through." Lincoln told the chubby boy.

"Understood. But fair warning my shields aren't indestructible. Too much force against it and I'm not sure how long I can hold it. So don't let too many enemies get through." Steven said making a salute and running to the family making a dome around them, himself included.

"Looks like it's you and me Lincoln." Aang said getting in is a battle stance.

"Let's do this." Lincoln nodded summing his keyblades. There were a total of seven of the new soldiers and possibly more would follow. So the two knew to stay on their toes. Lincoln charged first heading for the closest one, Aang following right behind him. He did a three hit combo noticing that the hits don't seem to do as much damage.

"These guys seem tougher than the ones from before." Lincoln said out loud.

"Shouldn't be that surprising. They seem to have better armor." Aang replied. Just then the one he was fighting did a kick similar to a normal Soldiers attack. With one main difference….its leg was covered in fire! As soon as Aang saw this he used his airbending to knock back the Heartless still in shock.

"Lincoln they ca-"

"I saw. That means we can't let a single one pass. Hit them with everything you got." The white haired boy said. Little did they know that these heartless have another trick up their sleeve.

Lincoln was going back and forth keeping the enemies at bay. He was sure a couple were severely weakened by now and tried to finish them off. He continued to swing at what he was sure was the first one he attacked while blocking any fire kicks and the spiked claws. He happened to see the top of the tin hat on this new soldier and noticed something.

'Is it just me or is that tip getting redder?' He thought to himself. Before he could think more on it the top started to blink as if it was a bomb.

"I have a bad feeling about this." Lincoln said. Just then the soldier suddenly exploded! It was big enough that it took Lincoln off guard and he was thrown against the shield Steven made. He quickly reached for a potion and healed himself and got up in about 3 seconds.

'So if it takes too much damage it self destructs. Just great. Lincoln thought quickly of going to the next enemy. "Aang be careful! They self-destruct!" Lincoln warned.

"Then we need to think of a new strategy!" Aang said jumping next to the white haired boy. "And I think I have an idea." Aang quickly explained his plan while the two kept the heartless at bay.

"Seems better than anything else right now. Let's do it." Lincoln responded. Aang quickly used his airbending to round up the heartless in the already small space packing them. Lincoln then made his keyblades into one and then he and Aang both jumped up above the circle of Fire Soldiers staff and blade meeting. And then made a giant tornado with the two weapons swinging around inside.

The wind was strong enough that the Fire Soldiers were picked inside causing them to spin around with the blade and staff hitting each one over and over. Aang continued until he was barely able to do so. The tornado dissipated causing what few remained to explode midair or fall off the edge and into the waters. Both weapons fell to their respective users, Lincoln's blade becoming two again before he caught them.

"That's the last of them." Lincoln said, catching his breath. Steven put down his shield and walked up to the other two Than and his family right behind.

"Thank you so much. You saved us again." Ying said trying to bow as much as possible while pregnant.

"Your welcome. Now let's catch up with the others. They're probably worried." Aang said, still having a blank expression on his face.

"Right." The other two boys said and the group caught up with the rest as fast as they could. They met up in an open area shaped in a circle. It was wide enough for them to spread out a little.

"What happened? We got all the way here and noticed you were all missing." Toph asked.

"We ran into more of the heartless. They just popped out of nowhere as usual and couldn't escape. These two cut them down a leg or two however." Steven explained pointing to Aang and Lincoln.

"Well at least you're okay. We'll set up camp here. I think we have had enough excitement for one day." Suki said.

"Agreed. It's getting dark." Katara said. So everyone started to set up camp making sure Ying is okay and laying down mats to sleep on. When it got colder they started a fire using some bushes that had somehow grown in the area. All of them were either talking or starting to rest exhausted.

Marco and Steven were laying on matts next to each other looking at the stars. The girl by the same name (I love puns) joined them for once enjoying the silence. Lana was talking to Ying asking questions about the baby mentioning that she has a baby sister. Ying answered the questions to the best of her ability, having to stop and dodge the most feared question from a six year old. "Where do babies come from?" Ying had to stop and think of what to say before she just simply said that she will find out when she's older. Lana wanted to protest but didn't get the chance as Ying started to pet her head, Lana's hood was down, and Lana quickly fell asleep, her tiredness taking over. Soon the small girl was sleeping on the woman's lap using Ying's belly as a pillow. "If all children are like this then I think being a mother will be easy." Ying said to Than, who was sitting next to them, quietly. Than's sister was already asleep herself.

Lincoln himself couldn't sleep. His mind was in overdrive. Thinking about the new heartless, starting to wish he left Lana back with the gang in Traverse Town, this new world in general, he was internally panicking. It was like all the fears and uncertainties just decided to come flooding back. Knowing that his family and friends are still missing is only adding to the panic. What Aang said still left him confused, give up hope? That seemed like the last thing they would want to do. Speaking of Aang, said boy and Katara were nowhere to be seen. He saw Sokka and Suki went to go talk and came back afterwards. But he hasn't seen the other two for a few minutes. Maybe he should go check on them. He thought he might try talking to Aang. And despite all the walking today, maybe a little more would help him clear his mind.

'I have to stay strong for Lana.' He thought. He was pretty certain that the other night would not be the last time she would have nightmares and he wanted to protect her.

Lincoln got up walking to the area he last saw Aang and found him and Katara at a cliff. He stayed behind but was close enough to hear them. As far as he could tell they haven't seen him yet.

"You know it's okay to miss Appa." Katara said, trying to lighten the mood. When Aang didn't react she frowned. "What's going on with you? Back in the dessert all you cared about was finding him. Now you don't seem to care about anything."

"You saw what I did out their after losing Appa." Aang responded. I lost control. I don't want to feel like that again."

"But now you're not letting yourself feel anything. I know it can hurt to hope and hurt more to care. But you have to promise that you won't stop caring." Katara gave a small smile hoping that Aang listened to her words.

Before Aang or Katara could say anything else Lincoln decided to make himself known. "I know how you feel Aang." He said walking up to them slightly startling them. "My friends that I mentioned we are looking for are actually my family, among some friends. My...journey if you will, just began but I feel like it would be almost impossible to find all my family. Lana and the hope of finding them is really the only thing that is keeping me going." Katara held her hand over her mouth and Aang almost looked like he was going to cry before going back to his blank expression.

"Thank you both for your concern." He said slightly bowing and then walking away. When he was out of ear shot Katara looked at Lincoln.

"Is that true? That you're looking for your family?"

"Yeah. I don't like going into too much detail but we got separated, met Marco, Star and Steven and we have been helping each other since." Lincoln said with a sigh.

"I'm sorry. I hope you find your family. I actually understand how you feel too."

"Really?"

"Yes. When I was younger my home was attacked by the fire nation. My...mother was taken from me and Sokka and we haven't seen her since."

"I'm sorry. That must be hard for you." Lincoln said. He could feel tears starting to form in his eyes.

"Well while I don't think I'm over it, probably never will be, I have had years to reflect. I can tell this only happened recently for you." Katara said smiling at the slightly younger boy. Lincoln looked down trying to hide his tears from the girl. He couldn't explain it but she had a very mothering personality that just made him want to tell her everything.

"I don't think there is much else I can say but this." She said lifting up Lincoln's head. "Your family will never be truly gone. They will always be with you. In here." She said pointing to his chest where his heart is.

That did it. That broke the dam. Lincoln started crying even more unable to stop his tears. Without a word Katara pulled him into a hug that he gladly accepted, getting tears on her clothes.

"T-thank you." He said between choked sobes. Katara just ran her fingers through his snow white hair that shimmered like the moon on this cloudless night.

"Shhh, shhh, It's okay." Katara calmed the boy down. 'If only Aang would show his feelings.' She thought. Lincoln calmed down pulling himself out of the hug to wipe away what was left of his tears. He then smiled at Katara, one of the first real smiles he had in a long time.

"Sorry for getting your clothes wet." He said.

"No problem. I got it." She said waterbending the tears off her clothes and throwing into the ocean. "I want you to promise me something Lincoln."

"What's that?"

"Never give up hope and please never forget what I told you. Think you can do that?"

"I think I can manage." He said trying to smirk but his sniffs gave it away.

"Thank you again Katara." He said, giving her another short hug.

"I'm glad I could help. Now come on. We should go back to the others." She started to walk back to the camp Lincoln stayed just a few seconds longer looking at the stars. 'I will find you girls, everyone, we will be back together before you know it.' He thought. He then caught up to Katara and walked back to the camp.

When they got there most of the others were asleep. Lincoln walked over to Ying and picked up Lana who was still asleep on her lap. Lincoln carried her over to Star, Marco and Steven and lay down when Suki came over.

"Here. You look like you could use this." She said handing him her sheet that was more or less her bed. Lincoln was about to protest but she stopped him. "I'm going to keep watch. With everything going on we should be careful. Sokka agreed to switch with me later tonight so don't worry about it."

"Uhh...thanks then. I guess." Lincoln said not sure what to say at first. "Sorry, it's just been a long day."

"I can imagine so." Suki said laying the cloth down on the floor next to Steven. Lincoln layed down on the edge giving Lana most of the space and holding her like she was a teddy bear. Lana subcounsily hugged him back , her arms around his neck. Lincoln fell asleep almost instantly more exhausted than he thought.

(The next morning)

The group started the trek again early in the morning not wanting to waste more time than needed. It had been surprisingly quiet. No heartless or fire nation ships. The only noises were the ocean waves and the group's footsteps.

"I'm not sure if the quiet is good or bad." Steven commented, deciding to break the silence.

"I got the same feeling." Marco agreed. The others just agreed silently nodding their heads.

"Just stay sharp and we shouldn't have to worry about any-" Sokka, who was at the front of the group, started before looking ahead of him. The others looked as well, some having to lean at the side or in Lana's case standing on top of Lincoln's shoulders. The reason they all stopped? There was a huge gap between the path either destroyed or buried under water. Katara got over her shock first getting in the front.

"Everyone single file behind me." She said. The group did as told Than and his family right behind the water bender and the rest huddled behind them. Katara started to bend the water making a path right through the middle. Star and Steven looked star struck seeing the water and the fish swimming around them.

"Aang I could use some help." Katara said. Without a word Aang handed his staff to Toph who took it without looking. Aang bended the water closing the top so no water could get in. Everyone was amazed not getting to walk through an ocean every day. Momo, who is on Toph's shoulder, jumped into the water chasing the fish.

"It's so beautiful." Lana said looking at the fish herself. Suddenly something big swam behind Momo, scaring the lemur and causing him to jump back in, ending on top of Lana's shoulders. The creature then broke the bubble, almost drowning them!

"Toph!" "Steven!" Katara and Lincoln yelled at the same time respectively. Steven made a bubble around them protecting them from the ocean and the creature. Toph used her bending to make a platform to put them above the sea level. Once there Steven dropped the bubble just as the creature came out.

It was a giant serpent! It was taller than any of the high points of the path they have been walking and was covered in green scales. But what stood out the most was the strange purple/black mist coming from its body and dark yellow eyes that looked like those of the heartless.

"Was it taken over by the Heartless, or a Heartless itself? Lincoln thought slightly confused. Just then multiple Migraines, as Steven now calls the heartless he and Aang fought, appeared on small rock platforms that also seemed to come out of nowhere.

"I think I just figured out why it's called the serpent's pass!" Sokka yelled. Right before the serpent screamed about to attack.

"In hindsight that should have been pretty obvious!" Marco yelled nervousness taking over him.

"Katara gets everyone to safety. I'll distract it." Aang said about hopping onto his glider.

Lincoln looked at his group, a plan forming as well. "Steven and Marco help Katara. Lana and Star, you're with me." He said as Aang flew off. "Aang will need help." he said.

"Star, I need you to make a platform big enough for Lana and I too stand on. Can you do that?"

"Do you even have to ask?" Star said with a smirk. She made the platform and Lincoln and Lana jumped on. It was a little above the water giving it a little more balance.

"Lana follow my lead." Lincoln said. Star using her magic to move them. Meanwhile Katara froze the ice for the others to cross ( Marco and Steven wandered why they didn't do that in the first place) Marco helping Ying and Steven creating a giant shield to cover them from any attacks. The only person who was still there besides Star was Toph.

"Toph go with the others." Star said. Toph stepped on the ice but couldn't trust it since she couldn't see through ice like she does with earth.

"Actually I think I'll just stay here on my little piece of land." She said right before a part of the body of the serpent hit the 'island' shattering the surface.

"Alright I'm coming!" Toph said, starting to walk across the ice. Steven, Marco, and the others made it across Katara about to help Aang and Lincoln when Steven stopped her making a shield for the both of them to stand on. Katara used her water bending to move the shield heading to the battle.

Meanwhile Lincoln and Lana finally reached the serpent jumping on the rock platforms to take care of some of the small fry and Star catching them with the platform she made. They each jumped on its back running as fast as they could simply knocking any heartless on it into the water. Aang has been in the sky knocking any heartless out with his air bending keeping them away from the others and distracting the serpent. Any that are left Katara has frozen at this point as they pass by.

Lincoln and Lana reached the head of the serpent taking turns hitting it in rapid session. Just like the heartless their blades went right through it seeming to not do any visible damage but due to the creature's cries could tell they were doing some.

Katara had caught up just as the serpent's head turned around to the two children allowing her to use her bending to freeze its head in place.

Getting an idea Lana called out to Steven.

"Steven shield!" She jumped down to said boy, Steven made another shield above himself just as Lana jumped on. Steven pushed her back up giving more momentum as Lincoln jumped up as high as he could Steven throwing his shield above Lincoln, said boy flipping mid-air pushing his legs against the shield. The two siblings hit the serpent's head from both sides at the same time causing the creature to scream and fall back into the water a dark mist slowly coming off of its body. The other heartless disappeared appearing to retreat.

"Lets go before that thing wakes back up." Katara said getting Steven back as Star caught Lincoln and Lana with her magic and Aang flew back. Suki had saved Toph who had fallen in the water.

About an hour later

"I can't believe we actually beat that thing." Marco said, thinking about all the heartless.

"Yeah it was awesome!" Lana said.

"Well it could have been worse." Lincoln said.

"At least we are almost at the city walls, you can just barely see them now." Suki said. And it was true. The walls were just in sight and the trail was near its end.

"Finally. My legs have been tired forever." Lana said.

"Lana, Steven, Marco, and I have been taking turns carrying you on our shoulders for the last hour or so." Lincoln , who is carrying her at the moment, said, confused.

"I know. My legs have been hanging that entire time. I haven't been on the ground since." She grinned. Next thing she knew Lincoln picked her up and dropped her feet first on the ground causing her to stumble and fall on her butt.

"I had that coming." She said getting back up.

"Well it's nothing but smooth sailing from here." Sokka said.

"Aha!" Ying yelled suddenly. "The baby is coming!" She yelled.

"Now!? Can't you hold it in or something?!" Sokka yelled.

"Soka it doesn't work like that. I can help her. I helped gran-gran deliver a lot."

"This isn't just an arctic seal Katara! This is an actual human thing!"

"He's overreacting more than Than." Star said, trying not to laugh. Marco had to stifle a laugh himself.

"They are called babies and I delivered plenty of those too." Katra said. She then told the others what to do to help sending Lincoln, Sokka and Steven to go get some water and Toph to make an earth tent.

Ying was in the middle of labor when they got back with the water (Steven had his in a bubble) and they brought it in. They weren't prepared for what they were about to see however and all three fainted when seeing Ying giving birth. Lana, who Katara and Toph tried to keep out of the teny up till now looked over the three boys.

"Oh so that's where babies come from, Why didn't anyone want to tell me that before?" She asked with child -like innocence. With how busy everyone was no one responded.

A few hours later and the baby was born. All the guys have woken up from before, something that Toph made sure to tease them for.

"Are you going to come in or are you afraid that you'll faint again?" She laughed.

"No no we're coming." Marco answered the three and Lana coming in leaving Aang outside. Lincoln and Katara had quickly stepped out.

"Aang you have to come see this." They both said at the same time. Aang walked in hearing the sound of a young baby girl being held by her mother.

"She sounds healthy." Toph said since she can't actually see what the baby looks like. The baby is of course tiny but has a full set of black hair. She is smiling at her mother and father.

"It's so...squishy looking." Lana said not sure what to say.

"Right?" Sokka agreed.

"You know Lana, you and Lola looked like that when you were born. Two tiny little blonde babies with a full set of hair. I think I said the same thing about you when seeing you two for the first time."

"...Fair enough." His sister said.

"So what are you going to call the baby?" Steven asked, very excited. He could barely keep himself still bouncing in place.

"I want our daughter's name to be unique. Like no other name." Ying said. The others had yet to notice Aang you for the first time in a while had a genuine smile. Tears started to fall, a realization coming to him.

"Sorry. It's just that seeing your daughter has made me feel hopeful again." Aang said, wiping his tears.

"I think I know what I want to name our daughter. Hope." Ying said looking at the baby once again.

"That's a perfect name." Than said. Than's sister nodded in agreement.

A few moments later all the kids are outside giving the family of now four some time alone.

Aang, Katara, and Lincoln are by themselves the rest of the group just a few feet away so they could have some privacy.

"I thought I was being strong, but now I realize I was only hiding my emotions. Seeing that family and their love for each other; reminded me of how I feel about Appa. And about you." Aang said to Katara, giving her a hug.

"And I owe you an apology Lincoln. Please forget what I said before and never give up hope. It may be the one thing you and your team can rely on if nothing else. I wish I had something to give but we sadly don't have a whole lot." Aang said sheepishly.

"No no. You guys have done enough. Helping us get through the Serpent's Pass is more than enough payment." Lincoln smiled and extended his hand to Aang who took it. When they did Lincoln suddenly felt something in his jacket pocket that wasn't there before. I was light enough he almost didn't feel it. He quickly pulled it out, seeing a keychain that had what looked like a version of Aang's staff on the end. He was confused where it came from but decided to question it later.

"Well I do have one sussgesten. Come with me to the city. I can have one other person with me on my glider. You can look for your friends while I search for Appa. We could even help each other." Aang said. Lincoln thought about it and while it meant leaving Lana behind, even if it was only for a little bit, he knew she was in safe hands with his team and team Avatar. Maybe they should come up with a team name.

"I'll come with." He said just as the others joined the three."

"Where are you going?" Lana questioned hearing Lincoln at the very end,

"I'm going with Aang to go to the City. Don't worry; you and the others will come too. We are just...scouting ahead to see if we can find Appa or anyone else." Lincoln told his sister.

"I just need to do this guys. I need to find Appa as soon as I can." Aang said looking at his old and new friends.

"Well we will see you two in the city." Marco said.

"Say hi to the fuzzball for me." Toph said, referring to Appa. She also punched Aang and Lincoln slightly on the shoulders causing them both to flinch in slight pain.

"Ready Lincoln?" Aang asked pulling out staff and putting it into glider mode. The white haired boy got on both nervous and excited at the same time. Momo is also tagging along flying right next to them.

As they leave Lana saw Sokka and Suki having a conversation. "So you came with us to...protect me?" Sokka said.

"Listen, I'm really sorry about last night. We were talking and saying things and I guess I got carried away and before I knew it I-" But she was stopped by Sokka giving her a kiss.

"You talk too much." He said about to give her another kiss until-

"Ugq, gross. Go find some place private you two." Lana said, grossed out seeing two people kissing like that. Being six she didn't even realize the full extent of what she just implied. And despite knowing she didn't mean it in...that way the two teens couldn't help but blush and Star and Steven were trying not to laugh once again.

"Lana you can't just say stuff like that. Also you ruined the moment." Sokka said with a small frown before he gave a small grin. Plus I'm okay with one annoying sister as it is. I don't think I need another one." He laughed.

"Hey! You take that back!" Lana and Katra said at the same time causing the two to look at each other before nodding in silent agreement. Sokka was wondering if he should be concerned when the two girls start to chase the boy prompting him to run. The rest of the group just watch in amusement.

Aang, Momo and Lincoln finally made it to the walls of Ba Sing Se. Flying to the top of the wall. The two looked at the beautiful view of the city. When they turned around however….

But I promise I will try to update more often.
