Annalise POV
The next day I wake up feeling a lot better and I walk in to the kitchen and find JoJo and Jen. "Morning." I greet.
"Hey, how do you feel?" Jen asks.
"A lot better."
"Do you want some breakfast?" JoJo asks.
"Please, what are you making?"
"Eggs."
"Perfect."
"You do look a lot better, are you going to be up for today?"
"Yes."
"Morning everyone." Robyn greets entering the kitchen.
"Hey Robbie." We greet.
"Can you girls be quick with breakfast, we have to film soon?"
"Sure." JoJo responds.
After breakfast and I've showered I put on a black t shirt and denim shorts. We are then called to the lounge to shoot the date card reveal.
3rd Person POV
All the ladies are seated around the couch when Chris and Renee walk in. "Ladies." Chris Harrison greets.
"Hey." They all greet.
"This week there's going to be two dates. A one on one and a group date." Renee announces.
"The people that get selected on these dates, use your time to get to know Colby, start to open up, the more you open up the more of a chance you will stay." Chris advises. "The unlucky people that don't get a date this week, use the cocktail parties to spend time with him."
"I've also been informed by Colby that he's starting to form some connections with some of you, so don't be afraid to open up." Renee adds and places the date card on the table. "We will leave you with this, good luck."
Caila stands up and takes the card off the table. "You ladies ready?" They all nod eagerly as Caila slowly opens the card and retrieves the card inside. She smiles. "Annalise."
"OMG." Annalise squeals.
"Annalise, let's define gravity."
Annalise smiles as she's handed the card. "What do you think it means?" Amanda asks.
"I have no idea, but I intend to find out." she grins and stands up. "I better go get ready."
Colby POV
Today I woke up with a huge smile on my face. I couldn't not choose Annalise for the date today. Hopefully today she's well enough to do what I have in store.
I hear a knock at my door. I answer it and behind it is Jon. "Well if it isn't the bachelor himself." Jon teases.
I let him in shoving him lightly. "Hello to you too." I groan.
"How's it going?"
"Better than I thought it would be."
"Is that due to a special someone?"
I smirk. "Renee told you?"
"Yes, she tells me everything and then I tell everyone at work." He grins. "We're all curious as to when you are going to bring them to WWE."
"In a couple weeks we are traveling to Florida where the Performance Centre is, I'm going to have the woman do a try out."
"They are going to hate you."
I grin. "We'll see."
"So are you happy bro?" He asks.
"Yeah, I'm still a little bit apprehensive but I'm getting there, it's helped that I have had control of things." I respond. "Speaking of, I'm going to need you to pass on a few messages to people so they can clear there schedule for next few weeks."
"Why?"
"Because I want some of you to be on the show." I explain.
"Really?"
"Yes."
"Who do you want me to ask?"
"I'll send you a list." I answer.
Annalise POV
"Are you nervous?" Lauren B asks me as I get ready.
"A little but I'm just going to be myself."
"Good. Do you have any idea what your doing?" Amanda asks.
"The date card said let's define gravity, it could mean something about planes or something."
"Have fun girl."
"I plan to."
Once I'm ready we gather in the lounge wacting for Colby to arrive. I quickly look at my outfit and I'm happy with what I chose. I'm wearing black skinny jeans with a long sleeved white lace top and to finish off the look black ankle boots. My hair is in loose curls and for my make up I've gone for a neutral smokey eye.
Colby POV
I drive up to the mansion in a convertible. I get out of the car and make my way inside. I enter the living room where the remaining 14 woman are chatting. "Hello ladies." I greet.
"Hi." they all squeal excitedly jumping up to greet me.
I hug them all and Annalise stands up and approaches me. "Hi." She greets smiling.
I lean in and hug her. "Are you ready for today?"
"I've been wanting to escape this house for ages, so yes."
"Well then I'm your accomplice, shall we leave?"
"Lead the way."
"See you ladies later." I farewell.
As soon as we step outside Annalise eyes the car and gasps. "Holy shit."
I laugh loudly. "I take it you like cars?"
"Not just cars, bikes, planes, motorbikes, anything fast."
"Noted."
"What are we doing today?" She asks
"You'll see." I grin. "Now hop in and buckle up."
Annalise and I drive through the streets of LA having a blast. "So what do you think we are doing today?" I ask her.
She turns to face me. "The clue said, let's define gravity, so it's got to be something up there." she answers pointing to the sky.
"Not just a pretty face."
She smirks. "Be sure to remember that."
We pull into a security fence that is the back of an airport. We drive straight onto the tarmac and a huge jet is waiting in the middle of a hanger. Annalise gasps. "Is that what we are going on?" She wonders.
I nod grinning. "Just wait until you see what it does."
We come to a stop and get out of the car and stand at the bottom of the stairs. I turn to face her. "So this plane isn't a normal one." I begin. "It's an anti-gravity plane that is going to take us up and its going to feel like we are in space."
Her mouth drops. "Are you serious?"
"I figured you'd be up for it."
"Up for it, why are we still down here?"
I laugh loudly. "We have to go get into suits so why don't you go in there and in a few minutes we will meet back here."
A short while later the hanger door opens and out walks Annalise in a blue flight suit with her hair down looking eager to get going. I meet her half way. "What do you think?" she asks.
I turn her around. "Love it." I compliment.
"Good." she grins. "Can we go now?"
"Sure."
We enter the plane and are debriefed on how everything works. The doors to the plane are secured and the engine blares and we are off.
We sit together strapped to the chairs holding each other's hands. "Excited?" I ask.
"Hell yeah."
"Have you done anything like this before?"
"I've been sky diving."
"You've sky dived?"
"Yeah, on the Gold Coast."
"Do you miss Australia?"
She nods. "So much. I miss my family and my friends, but to this is home to me now. I have a life here."
The plane takes off and Annalise grabs onto my arm tightly at the change in pressure. I chuckle. "Don't like take offs?"
"I've been on hundred's of planes, it's just every time we take off, I feel my stomach drop."
"I'll protect you."
She chuckles. "I think I'll be okay."
The captain of the plane speaks over the intercom and informs us to unbuckle and lie down on the floor in the open area. We lie down on our backs staring up above. "I wonder what it's going to be like?" Annalise wonders. Suddenly the pressure in the cabin gets extremely intense and it feels like we are stuck to the floor. Annalise lets out a loud laugh as she tries to move. "OMG." She squeals.
I try to raise my arms but I'm unsuccessful. The pressure suddenly eases and we start to float and we have no control of our movements.
We spin around doing little tricks trying to stay in contact with each other. The plane goes up again and the anti-gravity starts to ease and we fall to the ground. "That was so cool." Annalise exclaims.
"It was." I agree.
The plane does another nose dive and the same thing happens again and we float into the air. Annalise grabs onto my arms and tries to face me. "It's harder than it looks." Annalise shouts.
"I got ya."
The plane starts to decend back down and we get back in our seats. "That was amazing." Annalise expresses.
"It was, I'm glad I did this with you." I respond
"Well I appreciate it, I don't think you can top this."
He chuckles. "How's your stomach?"
"I still think it's up there."
Annalise POV
Once we are off the plane we seperate and get changed into clothes for dinner. I'm wearing a red bandage dress with spaghetti straps and black heels. I hear a knock at the door and Robyn enters.
We arrive at a rooftop over looking the city. "Okay, how do you find these places, this is beautiful?" I wonder observing the view.
"I have contacts." He clues. "Did you have a good time today?"
"The best time, thank you again."
"You're welcome." He smiles and opens some champagne. "To a wonderfule date."
We clink glasses and take a sip. "So tell me, since night one, how has your mind set been, you said you were still a little apprehensive about all this?" I ask.
"It's starting to get better. I'm a very private person so it's hard being in such a foreign environment."
"I get it, this whole thing is crazy, a lot of people criticize why people do this, but I think whatever happens at the end of this, you get something really good out of it."
"Like what?" He asks intrigued.
"Well you could find someone that you could spend the rest of your life with, as well as putting yourself out there in the most random way, and you also get to tell people that it's okay to have problems and not be perfect."
"So why are you here specifically?" Colby asks. "I know you said that you were drunk when you did the application, but in the back of your mind there must be another reason."
"I wanted to do something for myself. This is something that I usually wouldn't do and this is so out of my element." I admit. "I've always lived a life of schedules and heavy training and for once I wanted to do something far from normal." I add. "Like today for example I would have never done that."
"So why now?"
"The time is right. My contract at work is coming to an end soon, and it's time I think about what I want to do next."
"What do you want to do?"
"I don't know, something in journalism. I talk myself up as an athlete but I really love to write, and I think I can do really well, if given the chance."
"What do you write?"
"Articles mostly."
"Whatever you choose to do, I know you'll do well at it."
I smile. "How would you know that?"
"I get the feeling that whatever you do, whether it's work, being in a relationship, or living your life in general you always go out there and try your best."
"You see all that in just a little over a week?"
He nods instantly. "Yes."
"Well thanks."
Colby POV
Later on into the date we have moved onto a couch overlooking the lookout. "Tell me more about your family?" I asks Annalise. "What are your parents like?"
"They are the best. They've always been so supportive about what I do." She responds.
"What do they do?"
"They are both retired, but my dad owned a bus company and my mum retired soon after she had my brother."
"So you have six siblings?"
"Yes."
"Tell me about them?"
"Well to do that I have to take you back to before I was even around."
"Do I need popcorn?"
"No." She laughs hitting him playfully. "My dad before he met my mum was married and had two kids, Joanne and William."
"So they're a lot older than you?"
"Yeah, the age gap is 20 years roughly."
"Wow."
"Yeah, it was really weird when I was younger but we are really close now."
"What about your mum?" I ask.
"She was born in Alaska and had a child when she was 18, and she gave him up for adoption."
"What happened to her baby?"
"When he was 18, my mother found him."
I smile. "That's really cool."
"Yeah, I met him for the first time in 2001."
"What about your other siblings?"
"Well my two sisters Sarah and Sam are currently living in Londo , I'm the middle child."
"Do they pick on you?"
She laughs. "All the time."
"Are they supportive?"
"Yes, but they are also very protective of me."
"You have six siblings who's the last?"
Annalise takes a breath. "I had six siblings."
My eyes go wide. "What do you mean?"
"My brother David, who is the eldest out of Sarah, Sam and I, he passed away." She announces.
"OMG, when?" I ask shocked, not expecting to hear that.
"When I was 18."
"What happened?"
"Car accident." she answers putting her glass down. "He was on his way to pick me up from a night out, I had been drinking."
"You blamed yourself?"
She nods. "For a long time yes, but I now know that it wasn't my fault, I just miss him."
I pull her close to me and she sinks into my embrace and we just sit there for a moment. "How did you get over it?" I ask.
"I'll probably never get over it but therapy helped. We may not have been real close but he was always supportive of me, he was always there. He was the one that got me into watching wrestling."
"And when he died you stopped watching?"
She nods. "Yeah."
I turn her head to face me. "Annalise, I just want you to know that I'm truly sorry for your loss but he would be extremely proud of you."
She smiles blinking away tears. "Thanks."
I suddenly pull away and bend down to pick up a red rose. Annalise's eyes light up when she see's it and she bites her lip nervously. "Firstly, I want to thank you for opening up to me and trusting me with that." I start. "Secondly I had a great day with you, and I really hope that you accept this rose because what you just told me, gave me so much respect for you."
She smiles. "Of course I will."
We locks eyes and slowly start to lean in and our lips meet. The kiss is soft at first but the kiss gets deeper and her hands move up around my neck and I pull her closer. We slowly pull apart and come up for breath. "Your rose." I offer
She laughs loudly and accepts it and I kiss her again.
After I I dropped Annalise off at the mansion I head straight to Renee to inform her of the date.
I walk into my lounge room to find Renee and Jon on the couch. "How was it?" Renee asks curiously.
I smile and don't answer. "That good?" Jon questions.
"Better than good." I admit.
"What did you do?" Renee asks.
"We went on one of those 0 gravity planes."
"Get out!" Jon exclaims.
"That is so cool, did she love it?" Renee asks.
"She had a ball." I confirm.
"Did she open up?"
I nod. "Did you know about her brother?"
"What brother?" Renee questions.
"One of her brother's passed away."
"That was what Chris was talking about."
"Does anyone else know?" Jon asks.
"I don't know, I was surprised she even told me." I admit.
"What happened after she told you?" Jon asks.
"We kissed."
Renee jumps up excitedly. "You did?"
I grin. "Yeah multiple times."
"Was it good?" Jon wonders.
"It was perfect." I confess.
"Someone is smitten."
I smile. "I think I am man."
"Good for you man."
