A/N: There's lots of swearing in this one because it's in Bakugou's POV, and well that's our Bakugou.

Katsuki Bakugou was hopelessly, madly, stupidly in love with Uraraka.

First, he fell in love with the girl he met on that dumb online chatroom for his favorite anime during his first year at school. He was there trying to figure out where the limited edition merch was going to drop when he saw the chat attacking a fan for voicing their love for a specific ship. Katsuki wasn't there for ships, but this ship was one that chose him. The characters were perfect for one another.

Because everybody was a dumbass and couldn't see how much sense the ship made, the chat attacked the fan who brought it up. He wasn't going to stand for that. It made him sick how fans of such an action-packed anime could be so pathetic. He sent a few choice words that had the chat cowering, and he was on his way—or so he would have been if the person he defended didn't start a private chat with him to thank him.

One thing led to another, and hours of conversation later, the two ended up adding each other on messenger. It wasn't hard to figure out the other fan was a girl by their use of those ridiculous text emojis, but Katsuki was pleased he was right when she confirmed it.

He wasn't a sap when he was younger. He didn't catch feelings. He especially shouldn't have caught feelings with a stranger online, but that's exactly what he ended up doing a few months into their conversations. And he fell for this girl hard.

She was funny, smart, and most of all, not an idiot like all the other girls at his school. They shared many of the same views, which was a nice change of pace for him. People usually disagreed with the way he thought. The thing that got him the most was that he was able to be himself with this girl. She made him feel understood and seen.

Figuring out her true identity wasn't hard either. Her username was a dead giveaway; who else could GravityGirlXO be besides Uraraka? It was either her or some NASA loving space freak. But everything about GravityGirl and Uraraka matched up. When she confided in him about her troubles with her ex and how she was eating lunch alone, Katsuki knew he was right. He saw all of what she told him happen in real life.

He knew Deku hadn't done anything on purpose, but he wanted to kick that damn nerd's ass for making her sad and for being the reason she was eating lunch on her own. He would destroy anybody who put a frown on her perfectly beautiful face. He watched Uraraka go from table to table, searching for her new spot at lunch, before finally giving up and eating alone. He didn't know how to get her to his table.

Uraraka didn't know he was Unknown_User.

The most interaction they had in the outside world was their match during the sports festival, which, before he knew she was his GravityGirl, was enough to have him eventually fall in love with her. Who knew such a little thing could be such an insane badass? He did after their fight, and he never forgot it.

When she messaged him that she was really struggling with being alone, Katsuki told her to not give up hope that things would change. And they were going to change. He made damn sure that things were fixed for her.

The next day he scolded raccoon eyes for not noticing how Uraraka was eating alone all week, and Mina was so upset with herself for not realizing that her friend needed her that she forgot to harass him over why he noticed or even cared.

The first time she ate lunch at their table decided everything for him. He was not only in love with GravityGirl but Ochako Uraraka. Ten years later, he was still in love with her. A year into their online conversations, she expressed her desire to keep things anonymous between them, saying she wanted to keep things the way they were. It wasn't exactly what he wanted, and certainly not forever, but at the time, he needed to focus on school, so he agreed.

What a mistake that was. Katsuki was normally fearless. He excelled as a hero, being well on his way toward the top 10, but he was too chicken shit to reveal his true identity to the person he was in love with. He planned on talking to her after they graduated. That blew up in his face when she started dating that plain-looking extra from Hero Class B for two fucking years.

Those were the worst two years of his life.

But he was there for her, both as Unknown_User and Katsuki, like he always would be. Nothing going on in either of their lives would ever stop him from being there for her. As her online friend, he would stay up late giving relationship advice when she would ask. Since they work at the same hero agency, they often had similar schedules and could still chat online most nights.

Yeah, it was hard giving relationship advice to the woman he loved, but he couldn't let Uraraka think the way that fucker that called himself her boyfriend was treating her was normal. It wasn't a secret that Katsuki was difficult, but he was a saint compared to Kaibara. The guy was a raging narcissist.

Katsuki would make a better boyfriend than that schmuck.

Being there for her as Katsuki required more tact and planning. He couldn't just walk up to her and give advice over things she told him online. He always found a workaround, though, like when he would organize group hangouts when Kaibara stood her up. Thankfully, with Mina rooming with Uraraka, he had help on the inside on that front. She would text him whenever the boyfriend didn't show up, and Katsuki would take care of the rest.

Mina wasn't aware of his identity as Unknown_User. There's no way that dumbass could keep that type of secret. The whole friend group was inherently protective of Uraraka, so Mina didn't question it when Katsuki demanded she kept him updated. They all loathed Kaibara. He wasn't good enough for Uraraka.

Denki was the one who discovered Kaibara was cheating on Uraraka when he was out on a date at a bar and saw Kaibara hanging over some chick that was not Uraraka. Katsuki felt possessed with anger when Denki sent him a photo of Kaibara sucking face with the other female.

He was so angry that not even All Might in his glory days could have stopped him from driving to the bar and beating the ever-loving hell out of Kaibara. If Eijirou hadn't tagged along with him, Katsuki wasn't sure he would have been able to stop. Eijirou got his own hits in but was the one who pulled Katsuki off Kaibara when it was clear he wasn't going to stop.

The news shattered Uraraka. She called in sick from work the day after she found out. Katsuki had Eijirou cover his shift that day so he could stay home to be available for GravityGirl whenever she was ready to talk. Katsuki almost told her then who he was, but that would have been selfish.

She needed Unknown_User, not Katsuki, but all Katsuki wanted to do at the time was burst the door down to her apartment and hold her until the heartbreak wasn't as devasting anymore. Uraraka was strong and got over the hurt quickly. She dated a few losers here and there until she chose to stay single for the last three years, much to Katsuki's pleasure.

It had been ten years since Katsuki started talking online with Uraraka. Now the only thing preventing him from telling her that he was the guy behind all those late-night conversations was himself. All those years ago, she told him she wanted to keep things anonymous between them to ensure their relationship stayed the same. What if there was truth to that? What if everything changed when their identities were exposed?

Perhaps Uraraka only liked him when he was Unknown_User, not when he was Katsuki Bakugou. He saw how ridiculous that was. He was himself no matter what identity he took when speaking with her; even still, he was scared of how she would react. He was never afraid of anything, but the thought of being rejected by her and, even worse, potentially losing her entirely, had him sweating bullets whenever he thought about telling her.

Eventually, he decided that he was never going to tell her. It was better to keep the two worlds he shared with her separate. This way, the man he was in real life wouldn't mess things up for the man he was online, and he got to be there for Uraraka in all the ways she needed.

He would be satisfied with loving her from afar, with being there for her in secret, vowing to always protect her. There was some truth to how she called him her online guardian angel. Katsuki was no angel, but he would forever be there to guard her, no matter what she needed guarding against.

It was his turn to have the weekend off from work. The agency he worked for rotated who worked the weekend shifts to make it fair. It just so happened that Uraraka had the weekend off too. He didn't make that happen; he wasn't a creep. Life was just good like that sometimes.

He planned on stopping by her apartment later that day to see if she wanted to grab dinner and watch some lame Netflix show afterward. He'd see if Denki was around to join since the two of them had been so buddy-buddy lately. Yeah, he was jealous. So what. But if it'd make Uraraka happy, he'd invite the charged-up moron.

Whenever he was home, Katsuki stayed signed into the messenger they used just in case she hopped on early. Their routine was to talk at night but sometimes during the day. Today was one of those days. He jumped across his bed to his laptop when he heard the new message alert.

10:45 AM [GravityGirlXO]: SOS SEND HELP

Katsuki's blood boiled. Looks like dinner and Netflix would have to wait. He had some ass to kick today.

10:46 AM [Unknown_User]: name & location of whoever i need to eliminate plz

10:46 AM [GravityGirlXO]: lol oh you…this is serious

Uhhh, so was he. Was that not clear?

10:47 AM [GravityGirlXO]: my friend thinks im going to be lonely when she moves out

10:47 AM [GravityGirlXO] : or that i'll die and nobody will know because Éclair will eat my body?

That was a solid concern about Éclair, but he was failing to see the need for her SOS.

10:48 AM [Unknown_User]: and…

10:48 AM [GravityGirlXO]: she wants me to find somebody to date

Mina was dead. He was gunna kill her. Katsuki sent her a text saying just that, to which she instantly responded, crying that she didn't do anything wrong. He then sent a text to Eijirou saying his fiancée sucked. The redhead called within thirty seconds.

"Can you wait to retaliate for whatever she did until we get married next month?" Eijirou stated, omitting one of his usual cheery greetings.

"Tell your freakshow to stay away from Uraraka," Katsuki snapped.

His best friend let out a depleted huff. Katsuki felt somewhat guilty for bothering him during his weekend shifts were the busiest, but Eijirou didn't have to call Katsuki immediately. Katsuki needed somebody to vent to about this; the only person he could do that with was Eijirou.

"They live together, bro," Eijirou responded.

"They won't any longer once I murder her."

"If you were anybody else, I'd murder your face off for talking about my girl like this..." Eijirou mumbled under his breath before asking, "What did Mina do this time?"

Eijirou knew Katsuki wasn't actually going to off his fiancée, at least not over this. It was when Katsuki was quiet with his anger that people should be worried and those closest to him knew this.

"She's telling Uraraka she needs to find somebody to date."

Eijirou was quiet for a long moment, trying to find the right words that wouldn't set Katsuki off. He finally said, "I don't see anything wrong with that. If you won't date her, let somebody else do it. She deserves to be happy."

"Nobody is fucking good enough!" Katsuki seethed.

"Not even you?"

"No! Not even me."

"Kats, please, just tell her everything. This secret has been going on for long enough. You're crazy in love with her. It'll kill you to see her dating somebody else again," Eijirou suggested in that special tone he used whenever he was trying to keep Katsuki calm. It worked every damn time. He could feel his best friend's calming effects settling his nerves.

Eijirou was the only person that knew about him and Uraraka. He caught them messaging each other one night after they moved into the dorms at U.A., and the only way to get the redhead to keep his trap shut was to explain the situation. He ate it up. Eijirou was a hopeless romantic.

"Things are better staying the way they are," Katsuki huffed.

"Says who?" Eijirou refuted.

"Says me."

"Does Uraraka not get a say in this?"

"I'm fucking hanging up," Katsuki bellowed and finished the call. "Tell Mina to knock it off, or I'mma knock her head off."

Katsuki hung up before Eijirou could reply. Seeing that Eijirou was calling him back, he tossed his phone onto his bed. His best friend wasn't wrong. Uraraka deserved to find somebody who would make her happy. It just made him vibrate with envy that it couldn't be him.

11:02 AM [Unknown_User]: is that what u want?

11:05 AM [GravityGirlXO]: maybe…i don't know

11:06 AM [Unknown_User]: dont feel pressured. ur friend means well but this needs to be ur decision

11:10 AM [GravityGirlXO]: if i could find somebody worth dating, then i would be interested

11:10 AM [GravityGirlXO]: i was too young with my first relationship. i'm 25 now, i think it's time for a grown up relationship

Katsuki could taste the bile that settled in his throat at the idea of her dating some guy again. Yet, he would be there for her, like he always was.

11:12 AM [Unknown_User]: if thats what u want then i'll support it

11:12 AM [GravityGirlXO]: you're the bestestest friend a girl could ever have

And that's all Katsuki was ever going to be. Her friend in real life, her best friend online, and the man who loved her from afar.

A/N: I'm so soft for a pining Bakugou.
