"It's been three days now where is he I'm getting worried" Hestia said.

"He's probably left the city to go demon hunting if he's not back by the weekend I'll go look for him but normally when Bell is like this it's just best to leave him alone" Rengoku said.

"Does something like this happen often" Hestia asked.

"Back when Bell was first introduced into the corp he would always have the weird tangets where he wanted to be alone. But he always came back fine but after he learned he's related to a god killer and has the weapons of said god killer it'll take a while before he comes back" Genya said as he put the box down in the living room.

"How long do you think it'll take for him to come back" Hestia asked.

"Like Rengoku said if he's not back by the end of the week he'll go looking all we can do now is wait" Zenitsu said.

Back with Bell he hadn't left the city to go demon hunting no he was just on a wall staring at the vast wilderness beyond Orario.

"Hmm related to a god killer huh" Bell said as he looked at his wrist. "So not only do I have no clue who my parents are but my ancestor killed the entire Greek pantheon"

"But why do I even care it's not like I did it and I've never had a problem taking a life before so why does it now" "is it maybe that now I know

gods can be killed easily even at their full power. Huh I don't know I should probably head back everyone's probably worried " Bell thought as he hopped off the wall.

"Hmm so sad yet you still shine so bright oh I can't wait to gobble you up"

Bell suddenly stopped on the wall and looked around him but didn't see anything.

"Hmm there's that feeling that someone's watching me again" Bell thought as he hopped off the wall.

Bell then walked back to the hostess of fertility where he was told his familia had left because they had bought a house and that his stuff was already there. Bell thanked them for the information and began looking for Rengoku's scent. After about an hour of searching he finally found it and followed it. When he came in front of the house he was a little blown away. The house was at least three stories high with a yard surrounding the entire place. On the yard was a wall that stretched all the way around the house with a gate in the middle. Bell knowing this is where he now lived hopped over the fence and walked in. When he walked in he saw the walls were made of oak and the floor was covered in red carpet with what he assumed was oak under it. As he moved further into the house he saw the living with two big blue couches set across from each other with a window looking into the backyard also surrounded by the wall. To his left there was a table where his familia was eating breakfast.

"Well it's nice to see you decided to come back you figure everything out" Rengoku said as he ate a piece of toast.

"No but I've decided not to think about it since well there's really nothing I can do about it" Bell replied taking a seat next to Hestia.

"Bell I'm sorry for telling you that I didn't know what it would hurt you" Hestia said.

"It's alright goddess thanks to you I now know a little insight about my family however small it may be" Bell responded.

"But still that was a lot to take in so I'm sorry for disappearing" Bell added apologizing.

"Eh it's alright Bell we get it wanting to be alone but don't try and do everything on your own cause we're pretty much a family now" Zenitsu said.

"Yeah I'll be sure to keep that in mind anyway I'm gonna take a shower and get some sleep" Bell said.

Everyone said bye to Bell while Hestia told him where his room was.

"So what's your guys plan for today" Hestia asked picking up dishes and taking them to the kitchen that was at the end of the room.

"We're gonna get some armor and then spar a little since I don't think our haori's will work anymore" Rengoku said.

"You guys will wear armor not me I'm already strong enough to where I don't need it ha ha ha ha" Inosuke said.

"Inosuke you will wear armor in the dungeon am I clear" Hestia said with a tone of authority.

"Yes goddess" Inosuke said as his head drooped.

The group then finished breakfast and left for babel tower to see what type of armor they could get. Bell meanwhile was looking around his new room. In the end of the room in a corner was his bed next to the window. In front of the bed was a dresser where he assumed his clothes went. On the other side of the room was a desk where Bell assumed that's where he'd do his vice captain work when it came to it. But right now Bell didn't care he just wanted to sleep. But first he has to shower. So he took off the armor he had been wearing for almost four days now along with grabbing a towel and heading towards the shower.

The days after that just seem to flyby and before the group knew it over a month had passed. Some things changed within the group Genya learned to cook and pretty well at that. Zenitsu and Rengoku both got skills. Zenitsus was lighting magic where he shoots a lighting bolt out of his hand and Rengoku's was a speed skill allowing him to go faster than the eye could see. Over with Bell he went over to the twilight manor to visit Tiona like he promised and learned that they were getting ready to go on an expedition. He wished her luck and they sparred for a bit. The day of the expedition came and Bell saw her off and she made fun of him for being short Bell as a rebuttal called her flat then woke up wondering why his head hurt. He then went to the guild where Eina educated him on the dungeon and what to look out for. During his lessons he asked Eina how he could level up but she wouldn't tell him saying adventures don't go on adventures which made no sense to him.

"Well maybe I can ask goddess she might know" Bell thought as he walked down the street.

As Bell was walking however he heard a voice of a friend.

"Bell I really need your help right now" Syr asked.

"Oh what do you need help with" Bell asked.

"Me and my damn mouth" Bell thought as he washed dishes.

"Sorry about this but we're really busy today" Syr said with a smile.

"It's no problem really I guess this is just my way of paying you back for the lunches you give us" Bell said.

"Even though Genya tosses them as far as he can in the dungeon" Bell thought to himself as he chuckled.

"Something funny" he heard Ryu ask him.

"Just thinking of Inosuke being a dumbass" Bell responded.

"Yes he is a weird one however I'm guessing Syr tricked you into this huh" Ryu asked as she moved to help Bell.

"Eh some what but I like to help people so it doesn't bother me to much" Bell replied handing a plate over to her.

The two stood there in silence for a few minutes before Bell asked a question.

"Hey Ryu you were an adventurer right" Bell asked

Ryu tensed up before answering. "Yes once upon a time how'd you guess that"

"Your eyes are the gateway to the soul one look there and I knew you and probably most of the staff here are ex adventures"

"Well you're not wrong so why do you ask"

"How do I level up" he asked.

"You have to preform a feat that even the gods will recognize"she responded.

"Oh great so I'll get my ass beat by a Minotaur next then" he joked.

Ryu giggled at the comment and the two went back to washing dishes. After finishing washing dishes Bell said his goodbyes to the staff and decided to head home. As Bell was walking home he noticed that it was night and he was in there longer than he thought. Before he was about to take a left and head home he smelled the smell of death coming from his right. He followed the smell and stopped at an abandoned house in dedalus street and in the front yard was the body of a boy no older than Bell laying in the front yard. Bell quickly rushed to the body and checked for a pulse but his worst fears were confirmed the boy was dead. He stood up and unsheathed his blades of chaos but before he stepped in he smelt fear.

"Someone's still alive" Bell thought as he ran in.

Bell looked around the room and saw a girl huddled up in a corner crying. Bell quickly ran over to the girl and put his hand on her shoulder. The girl jumped but when she saw Bell she calmed down a little.

"Hey it's alright I'm here to help tell me what happened" he said.

"Y-you shouldn't have come here" she choked out.

"What do you- but Bell was cut off as he heard the sound of someone hitting a drum and the next thing he knew he and the girl were on the ceiling.

"What the hell was that" Bell said aloud.

"I-it's a m-monster he killed my friend and now he's gonna kill you to" the girl said

"Don't worry I'll protect you just hold onto me and I'll get us out of here" Bell said flashing a smile to the girl.

Bong, again the sound of a drum was heard and the next thing he knew was that he was flying towards a wall. He quickly grabbed the girl shielding her from the impact as he went through the wall and came face to face with the demon.

"A demon! Bell thought.

"Hmm you're a demon slayer no matter you all taste the same anyway"

"So I'm guessing you killed the kid out there"

"No he killed himself jumping out the window but you'll do for my meal"

"Who said anything about me dying"

Bell then threw his one of his blades at the demon but he hit a drum and the next thing Bell knew he was falling.

"Fuck his demon art is annoying" Bell thought as he threw one of his blades into the wall adjacent to him and swung to the demon.

The demon just hit his drum again and Bell went flying off course.

"You know that blood demon art is really annoying" Bell said.

The demon didn't respond instead he appeared right in front of Bell and punched him through a wall. Bell rolled with the punch and was able to stand up but not before the demon appeared in front of him again grabbing him by the neck and biting into his shoulder.Bell yelled out in pain before swinging his blade cutting the demons head off.

"The hell'd you bite me for that left you wide open" Bell asked holding his shoulder.

"Blood smelled good wanted bite" the demon responded.

"And how the hell were you able to move so fast" Bell thought.

Bells eyes then widened in horror as he flipped over the demons decaying body on its stomach and saw a falna on the back.

"Fuck he's level 2 no wonder I was having trouble keeping up" Bell thought. "Shit the girl"

Bell quickly spun around and saw the girl huddled in a corner again. He sheathed his blades and walked over to her again.

"Hey you're alright the monsters dead now" Bell said holding onto his shoulder.

"B-but you're hurt" she responded pointing at his shoulder.

"Don't worry about it it's just a scratch do you have anywhere to go"

"N-no I came here in search of my brother I was looking for a familia to join until this happened"

"Well if you're still looking for a familia to join you can join mine and I promise I'll help you find your brother" Bell said.

The girl nodded her head and Bell helped her back to his familia home. When Hestia saw Bell injured she nearly flipped out on the girl until Bell explained what happened Hestia calmed down and talked with the girl while Bell grabbed a potion and healed his wound. He then went to Rengoku's office to talk with him.

"Come in" Rengoku said hearing the knock on his door.

Bell opened the door and locked it before sitting down across from Rengoku.

"Ah young Bell what can I help you with"

"The demon have falna's"

"What how what god would do this are you 100 percent sure"

"Yeah I just fought one and the bastard took a bite outta me he was level two also"

"Already a level two that's can't be right either they've been in cahoots with that god for a while"

"Or leveling is easier than everyone thought" Bell finished Rengoku's sentence.

"Thank you for telling me this Bell I'll send a Raven to the master asking what we should do go see Hestia for a status update then get some rest it what you're saying is true let's hope that fight let you level" Rengoku said.

Bell agreed and went to Hestia's room and knocked on the door. She opened the door and Bell saw the girl sleeping in Hestia's bed.

"Can I help you Bell"

"Rengoku thinks I leveled and wants my status updated"

"Why does he think that you haven't been to the dungeon today right" Hestia asked.

"Well I killed a demon with a falna and it was already level 2 so Rengoku thinks leveling is not as hard as it seems" Bell responded.

"If that's the case then this could upend Orario as we know it"

"Yeah so let's check my level to make sure"

"Fine get a chair and we'll check"

Bell grabbed a chair and sat down while Hestia pricked her finger allowing her blood to drop onto Bells back. She then updated his status and Rengoku's fears were confirmed.

"Rengoku was right to be worried Bell you're now level 2"

And that's where I'm gonna leave this sorry if it seems rushed but there's so stuff I wanna get to for this story and I don't want it to drag on like most Danmachi stories where like 5 chapter all happen in the same day anyway if you enjoyed leave a comment I take any and all criticism
