"You leveled up in a month In a half" Eina yelled.
"You didn't really have to yell that Eina" Bell said.
"I apologize but Bell that's unheard of I mean the sword princess did in one year not one month"
"What can I say I'm just that good"
"Didn't you and your friend get wrecked by a silverback not even 6 hours after being in the city"
"We were falnaless so that doesn't count"
"Uh huh sure anyway this might take a while to go through since you did it so quick"
"That's fine with me as long as it gets reported I don't really care but I am going to the dungeon soon to test out the new level just gotta get my armor fixed first"
"Oh your armor broke?
"Not really it's dented everywhere and I don't know about the first thing of repairs so I'm gonna find the smith who made it and ask"
Bell then said goodbye to Eina and started walking towards babel tower. As he was walking however he heard the whistling again and decided to follow it. When he did he came upon a flower shop where an elderly couple were on the ground and a prum was thrown through the window.
"Stupid prum that's what you get for trying to leave" one of the men said.
"Stop Lili will come back if you just leave these people alone"
"Ah shit I can already hear Genya's jokes now" Bell thought as he walked over.
"Lili begs you please stop" the prum cried as the men destroyed more of the store.
"No cause you need to learn what happens when you disobey the captain" one of the men said.
"Oi cunts"
One of the men whipped his head around only to find a fist lodged into it. The man went flying back through the wall of the shop.
"You're gonna regret that you brat" the man said pulling out a sword.
"Bring it on bitch" Bell said flicking his wrist and bringing out his shield.
The two then got into a fight Bell using his shield and the man using his sword. Now the reason why Bell didn't have one of his blades out was because he didn't want to kill them that would bring to many problems down on Hestia. Now beating the shit out of them that he could get away with.
The man swung his sword down at Bell which he blocked and then bashed the man in the face with his shield breaking his nose.
"Yohhu lisstle brat" the man tried to spit out.
"Ooh that doesn't look so good made you even uglier"
The man enraged charged at Bell again while another man on the roof pulled back an arrow on his bow. Bell sensing him ducked under the sword. Grabbed the man by his collar and put him in front of him right when the arrow was released. The arrow struck the man in the shoulder and Bell threw him to the ground.
"Either you take your friends and leave or you're next your choice" Bell said.
The man said nothing but hopped off the roof and gathered his two companions. Bell then turned around and saw the prum still shaking on the floor.
"Are you alright" he asked.
"You shouldn't have done that now they'll target you to"
"And I'll kick their ass again now what's your name"
"Lili and Lili thanks you for your help"
"Eh it was nothing but why are they hunting you"
"Because Lili is a prum and a supporter and they're not treated very well here"
"Why not leave your familia"
"Because they charge people an absurdly high amount of valis to leave and Lili can't afford it"
"Well that's dumb,come with me I'll get you outta there" Bell said as he placed a bag of valis on the table. "For repairs for your shop and to keep her employed" he said,then he walked off with the prum next to him.
As he was walking away however he didn't notice the woman with white hair and Heterochromia eyes watching him from a distance.
"So that's her legacy huh not much to look at" the woman thought.
Bell and Lili walked to the hearth manor where he let her and Hestia have a talk while he went to check up on their new guest. He walked up to the door and knocked on it.
"Come in" the girl said.
"So how ya holding up"Bell asked.
"I'm doing ok thanks for saving me and letting me join"
"Hey I made you a promise that'd I'd help although it would be a lot easier if I knew your name" he said.
"It's Nezuko and my brothers name is Tanjiro"
"Well Nezuko it's nice to meet you I'm Bell in case you didn't know that by now"
"I did I heard everyone's name by now"
"Well how about you rest a bit more before you go with Genya to the dungeon tomorrow and then we'll try and find leads about your brother ok"
Nezuko said nothing and nodded her head. Bell then left the room and headed back to where Hestia and Lili were.
"So Bell why is it you want to help this girl" Hestia asked.
"Cause it's the right thing to do"
"Right you wanna help people I forgot" Hestia said sarcastically.
"Don't patronize me" Bell protested
"Alright miss prum now my Bell here wants to help you now explain the problem and I see if I'll allow it"
"We both know I'll do it with or without your permission"
"Anyway, what familia are you apart of and how much will it take to let you leave" Hestia said.
"The soma familia and i don't know the price they change it each time I get enough or just beat me and steal it" Lili said.
"Uh Soma how far you fallen, alright we'll help but please wait outside I need to speak with Bell" Hestia said.
Lili nodded her head and thanked the two before walking out into the hall.
"So why is it you want to help her" Hestia held up a finger silencing Bell. "And before you say it's the right thing to do I know that but I want to know your reason for doing it" she finished.
"Well she reminds me of myself before I was found by Rengoku" Bell said.
"Oh and how so"
"I was 8 or 9 I think I just lost my grandpa and I felt lost not many people in my village could really take care of me they barely had enough to feed themselves, but this lady who in a way is sort of my aunt took me in but that only lasted a few months until a demon wiped the village out or so I thought. But I was still young at the time so I wandered the countryside until I collapsed from hunger and exhaustion and that's when Rengoku found me and the rest is history" Bell finished as he explained some his past.
"Oh Bell I'm sorry to hear that" Hestia said wrapping her small figure around him in a hug"
"It's alright Hestia it was almost 7 years ago but that's why I want to help her cause she looks lost and scared just like I was"
"So there's no changing your mind then cause if you go fight the Soma familia there's no turning back"
"When have you known me to run when someone was in need" Bell joked.
"Don't remind me of the silverback" Hestia said lightly smacking him.
Hestia then called Lili back in and told her that Bell will help her. Lili then broke down into tears thanking them over and over again. After she calmed down they told her that she'll have to stay here to lure the Soma familia here and it would be better for her safety as well. Lili agreed and they showed her to Nezuko's room so the two girls could get to know each other and also they were almost out of room. Bell then went to Rengoku's office to talk strategies.
"So I hear we're helping a young prum is that right" Rengoku asked.
"I hate how attuned your ears are sometimes but yeah pretty much" Bell replied.
"So what's the plan I assume you came up with one"
"Well it's a simple one really use her as bait and draw her familia here best the shit out of them and then storm the familia HQ and force him to take the falna off simple"
"And what makes you think they she's here" Rengoku asked.
"Simple some grey haired fucker followed me home so now we wait" Bell said with a smirk.
"Bell now while your plan isn't exactly bad there's an easier way to go about this"
"Oh how so" Bell asked.
"You,Zenitsu and Inosuke stay here while Genya and I go to the familia HQ during the attack that way we take out two birds with one stone" Rengoku said.
"Hmm yes that's a good idea they'll most likely have a skeleton crew guarding the house which will give you easy access to their god but why Genya" Bell asked.
"Cause he has a shotgun in a house with people invading don't want to have to clean up guts off the wall" Rengoku said.
Bell agreed saying that made sense and before nightfall Rengoku and Genya snuck out of the house and headed toward the Soma familia's house. At the hearth manor Bell decided to hide Lili,Hestia and Nezuko together with Zenitsu guarding them. Zenitsu was of course overjoyed at the prospect while Inosuke and Bell would fight off the intruders. Then night came and the battle began.
"Arde come outside now and I'll only kill one of them" the grey haired man said.
"How about you try and kill us bitch boy" Inosuke responded.
The grey haired man grit his teeth in anger before ordering his lackeys to attack. Their number totaled to about 20 all of them high level ones except for the grey haired man who was a level two. The group searched the house while the grey haired man stayed outside. All was quiet until one his men went flying through the window and landed on the ground with a splat killing him. He then looked over to the left of the mansion and saw what looked to be like swinging around and each time it did he would see the outline of a body drop. He then saw the boy he really wanted to hurt. Because at the front door was Bell staring right at him.
So I'm gonna make the chapters shorter from now on so they'll get out quicker next chapter will be a big fight and the conclusion to Lili's arc then off to find welf and then death March to 18 so look forward to that anyway hoped you enjoyed if you didn't leave a comment I'll take any and all criticism
