When Bells eyes opened he saw nothing except for Kratos standing in front of him. Said god looked at him not with a look of disappointment but what looked to be approval.
"So I'm guessing you're gonna chew me out again" Bell said.
"No you actually did quite well, you were put into a dangerous situation and managed to get your comrades out of there that's applause worthy in my book" Kratos said Bell felt a sense of pride well in his chest. "However you didn't beat the Goliath even though you had it on the back foot and that in itself is disappointing" Kratos finished.
"There it is was waiting for the catch" Bell said rolling his eyes.
Kratos growled then spoke. "You could've won you had already cut off one of its legs and blinded it"
"Well it could obviously still see me judging by its throw" Bell responded.
"Then you take out its ears if it can smell you take out its nose take out its senses and if it can still see you then it is an impressive creature" Kratos said crossing his arms.
"You're such a hardass you know that right"
Kratos grunted before speaking for the last time. "Wake up" he and then everything went dark.
When Bell felt his consciousness coming back to him he felt what felt like a very nice and soft pillow and that someone was petting him?
"Is someone fucking petting me" Bell thought to himself.
Bell opened his eyes and saw Tiona looking down at him while petting his hair.
"Tiona why are petting me" Bell asked confused startling the girl.
"Oh cause your hair is just so soft I couldn't resist" she said in he usual playful manner.
Bell then remembered where he was and shot up nearly clocking Tiona in the head.
"My friends where are they are they alright" Bell said fear evident in his voice.
"Bell calm down they're fine if you looked around you would've seen that" Tiona said in a soothing voice calming him down.
Bell followed her advice and looked around and saw his friends all laid around next to him unconscious.
"Wait why is Genya asleep he was the least injured out of all of us" Bell asked.
"Bell no he wasn't the entire left side of his ribcage was broken" Tiona responded confused.
Hearing this Bell chuckled before speaking. "Tough bastard carried two injured comrades though two floors of hell then again he was the more durable one of us" Bell said looking at Genya's sleeping form.
"So I'm assuming he didn't tell you"
Bell shook his head before turning to her. "So I'm guessing Finn is gonna wanna talk and figure out what happened" Bell asked.
"Well he wanted to talk to you and Rengoku since you are your familias leaders but I guess there's no harm in you talking to him and telling Rengoku" Tiona said helping Bell stand and leading him towards her familia captains tent.
When they got there Finn asked Tiona to leave so they could speak in private and she did as he asked but not before taking one last look at Bell though he didn't know this. Bell then went on to explain what had happened and why he was currently here.
"Well I will say this Bell you got really lucky" Finn said sitting on a chair.
"I'll tell you it doesn't feel like I'm lucky" Bell said touching the bandage on his head.
"How so you and your entire party Survived and in no small part on your part" a dwarfen man said.
"Yes while in pain you not only led your party down here but also went toe to toe with the Goliath for a short time to buy said party time that in itself is praise worth" a green haired high elf said.
Bell said nothing but just stared at the ground in thought before he realized that Finn was in the know about his secret and that he also needed to talk to Loki as soon as possible.
"Finn I need to talk with Loki when we return to the surface" Bell said.
"Oh what about" Finn asked.
"About our mutual friend" Bell responded showing the shield still attached to his left wrist.
"Huh so Loki finally found someone able to use it" the elf said.
"It appears so hmm never thought I'd live to see it" the dwarf responded.
"Wait you know about him" Bell said.
"Kid we're the leaders of the Loki familia Loki is gonna tell us about her dear old dad" the dwarf said.
"Also I was there when she told you the origin of your weapons remember you punched me in the face" the elf said who Bell just now remembered her name.
Bell just nervously chuckled looking away abashed.
"So what is it that you need to tell Loki" Finn asked.
"Sorry but I'd rather talk where the walls were thicker and not made if paper considering this is the type of information you wanna keep secret"Bell said.
Finn said nothing but stared at Bell his hand on his chin as he thought. After another minute he agreed to Bells request and said he schedule a meeting with Loki as soon as they left the dungeon.
"Well I believe that's everything you and your party are welcome to stay in our camp until we head back to the surface so go interact hang out with people your own age" Finn said waving Bell away.
Bell chuckled thanked Finn again for his help and made his way out of his tent and on the way back to his. On his way back however he was surprised on just how many people there were in the Loki familia. Everywhere he looked he saw people everywhere either hanging out around their tents or helping other people out.
"Damn kinda makes mine feel like a nursery" Bell thought to himself. Bell then looked around and noticed people were staring at him. "Huh probably not the best thing to look at" he thought thinking of the bandages covering his head and left eye. Bell shrugged off the looks and limped his way back to his tent he opened the flap and saw Welf and Rengoku awake.
"Well good morning sleepy heads or is it night I have no clue" Bell joked.
"Uh my head hurts where even are we" Welf asked putting a hand to his head.
"It's appears we reached floor 18 young Welf" Rengoku replied.
"Yeah and not a moment to soon as we all passed out the second we got here" Bell said sitting down.
Bell then went on to explain to Rengoku about what happened with Finn making sure to leave out a certain god of war because of Welf being there.
"So we're pretty much welcome to stay till they deal with the Goliath" Bell said.
"And how long will that take" Rengoku asked.
"Couple of days since some of their adventures are poisoned they sent a runner to get antidotes but it'll take some time" Bell replied.
"So what do we do till then" Welf asked.
"Well we wait till the other idiots wakes up then explore I guess really have nothing else to do besides wait" Bell said.
"Alright next question why is Genya still unconscious" Rengoku asked.
"The entire left side of his ribcage was broken" Bell answered.
"And he carried two guys down two floors damn what do feed him" Welf all but shouted in surprise.
The duo didn't answer but instead just chuckled at the man's reaction. The trio then sat there for a few hours resting and having idle chatter until hearing a series of groans going from their fellow occupants.
"Well it appears our sleeping beauties have finally awoke" Rengoku joked.
"Where are we" Zenitsu asked.
"Floor 18 welcome to the safe zone" Finn said entering the tent.
"Finn what are you doing here" Bell asked.
"Oh I just came to fetch you all for dinner and before you try and decline,Aki and Alicia will come in here and force you to eat so might as well just come and eat" Finn said stopping Bell from protesting.
"Ha he read you like a book" Inosuke laughed.
Bell rolled his eye and the party headed out of their tent. When they exited they saw all the Loki familia who were now positioned around a pot hanging over a fire. The group sat down in their own little section and accepted the meal that was given to them as they were eating Tiona came up to Bell and handed him what looked to be a fruit.
"Ooh ooh Bell you gotta try this it's a dungeon fruit" she said excitedly.
"The dungeon grows fruit" he questioned.
Tiona nodded her head. "The thing that spawns monster that kill people also provides food" he questioned. She nodded again a happy smile on her face. "I'm gonna regret this" Bell thought throwing caution to the wind and eating one. His reaction was immediate his face scrunched up and his eyes shut before he swallowed.
"Eh that's really sweet Uh" Bell said shaking his head.
"Oh really let me try one" Welf said. Bell then handed Welf the other fruit and as he tried it he had the same reaction.
"See told you they were sweet" Bell said.
"Christ how can people even eat those Uh I need some water"
Bell just chuckled at Welf then turned around to find Tiona staring right at him. "Um hello" Bell said confused. "Boo I was hoping to get you flustered" she said pouting. Bell said nothing but heard Genya laughing behind her. Tiona turned around and asked why he was laughing.
"Hmm what's so funny" Tiona asked crossing her arms.
"Sorry just remembering his time with Mitsuri when she first met him"
"Genya shut the fuck up" Bell said panic evident in his voice. Tiona then grew a devious smirk.
"Oh ho do tell what happened"
"She grabbed on to him and just refused to let him go saying he was so cute he looked like a rabbit trying to escape her grasp" Genya said falling over and holding his sides from how much he was laughing.
"Ah yes I remember young Mitsrui doing that every time she saw him after quite funny" Rengoku added.
"I hate both of you" Bell said shuddering at the memories.
The group then exchanged more embarrassing stories about Bell much to his dismay and the others amusement. They told them the story of before Bell knew how to read and accidentally walked into the woman's bath and the time Tengen accidentally got him drunk and how Shinobu lost her shit. Everyone laughed at these stories much to Bells dismay. Rengoku sensing they went far enough in teasing the poor boy told them to stop. Bell mentally thanked him and before long the group was back in their tent getting ready for bed though they didn't feel like sleeping yet.
"Man Bell you've sure had an interesting few years" Welf said still snickering.
"Shut up" Bell said as he threw his pillow. Welf dodged cause he knew Bell didn't throw it to hurt him. Before the two could bicker anymore a tan woman with an eyepatch came in and grabbed Welf then walked out. The group just stared at the entrance for a while before one of them spoke.
"So we not gonna talk about that" Genya said.
The rest shook their heads not knowing what to say or do. The group stared at the tent flap for a few more minutes but nothing happened so they went back to talking.
"Heh maybe he'll get lucky tonight who knows" Genya joked.
"God I hope not I don't wanna hear that" Zenitsu said covering his ears.
"Imagine how I feel I'll have to smell it" Bell said.
"Well while we're here wanna play a game I brought some cards in my pack" Rengoku said.
"Why do you have cards in your pack" Genya asked.
"An idle mind can lead to bad things happening young Genya" Rengoku answered.
"Someone's gonna have to help Inosuke then cause he can't read" Bell said.
"I can read pictures" Inosuke grumbled.
"You can't count" Bell replied back.
The group laughed until Welf was thrown back into the tent and the same women then threw Bell over her shoulder and walked away. Again the group stared at the tent dumbfounded but decided to just play cards instead leaving Bell to his fate. Over with Bell he can hear snickers and cheers being thrown his way as he was being carried. The look on his face was one of a man who just wanted to die but hey he thought might as well enjoy the view.
"Nice ass" he blurted out.
"Oh enjoying the view back there" the woman asked playfully.
"Well you threw me over your shoulder for whatever reason so I'm gonna enjoy what can" he replied. He then heard the woman flip over a tent flap and plopped him on the ground. When he looked up he was surrounded by women in the Loki familia a couple he knew a couple he didn't until he saw a woman with blond hair in front of him.
"You're the one who saved my friends" he said.
"No all I did was get you to the right people" she said tonelessly. Bell quirked an eyebrow and looked towards Tiona for an answer.
"Don't mind her she's just like that anyway we wanted to ask you some questions" Tiona said.
"Is that why you brought Welf in here" Bell asked.
"Yup but he didn't know anything so just tossed him back" the woman with the eyepatch said.
"Alright so what are your questions" Bell asked.
"What happened to your eye"
