"Uh it's good to feel the sun again" Zenitsu said as the group finally made it back to the surface.
"How long were we down there" Genya asked.
"About two weeks seeing as it took some time to get the rescue team together and waiting for the Loki familia to heal their members" Ryu answered.
"Ah shit Hestia and Nezuko must be scared out of their minds" Inosuke said.
"Settle down children I will head back to our house and inform her we're alright the rest of you head to the guild to trade our items" Rengoku said softly as to ease their worries.
The group listened and began heading to the guild while Bell faced Ryu and the group from the Far East as Hermes had already disappeared the second they reached the surface and Welf said he was gonna head home and get a shower.
"Well looks like this is where we part ways however, while yes it was you three and your familia that got us into this mess I've grown a lot of respect for you three cause you swallowed your pride and came back to save us so I forgive you" Bell said a soft smile gracing his lips. The trio than thanked him and said their goodbyes before heading home.
"Alright Ryu go and tell Syr I'm alive and that I'll visit sometime soon I guess" Bell said dismissively but Ryu knew he was sincere. She to bid her farewells to the young man and headed back to the hostess of fertility.
"So that's how many now 3,4 girls" Genya asked a teasing smile on his face.
"Don't even start" Bell sharply replied.
The four then saw the guild building and headed inside. "You guys deal with the items I gotta go and find Eina so she knows I'm not dead" Bell said. He heard his group snickering as he walked away no doubt from a joke Genya told.
Bell walked up to the front desk where he saw Eina talking to two people a man and a high elf woman. "Huh odd she looks like Riveria" Bell thought as he got closer. When Bell got closer to the desk Eina saw him and immediately rushed towards him slamming into him. Bell not expecting this stumbled a bit but didn't fall. "Ow ribs,nice to see you to" Bell quipped.
"I thought you were dead where have you been" Eina scolded as she released Bell. "Close got trapped in the dungeon after falling three floors then having to March down another two to make it to safety, then an irregular Goliath spawned on floor 18 so had to fight that as well all in all interesting few weeks" Bell said.
"What no way you fought a Goliath you're as skinny as a string bean and short as one to" the man next to the high elf said. He was on the taller side of most humans standing at about six feet. He was also very muscular looking as if he lifts heavy objects on the regular. His face which had a scar going across his left eye to the right of his face was contorted in disbelief causing his brown beard to shift slightly. On his hip was a sword in its scabbard with the pommel of the blade made of gold with a Ruby in the middle.
"Calm down dear remember looks can be deceiving" the woman scolded. When Bell looked at her he was right the woman looked just like Riveria hell if he hadn't just seen Riveria he would've thought it was her. It didn't take a genius to guess these were Eina's parent didn't mean he had to be respectful though.
"And you're old bet you would've had trouble with it" Bell replied. "Oh and you did better brat" the man said getting closer to Bell. "Well yeah I'm the one that killed damn thing and i have about 200 witnesses to attest to that" Bell said taking a step closer to the man as well. "Enough both of you" Eina scolded pushing the two apart. "Dad why is it you try and scare off every boy I meet"
"Because you're my precious daughter that's why" he said. "Uh Bell what's going on" Genya asked behind him. "Oh these are Eina's parents and I almost got into a fight with her dad" Bell replied. "Oh alright,anyway we've finished here wanna head back with us or keep arguing with the retirement patient here" Genya said. "I'll head back with you just wanna lay in my own bed once we get home" Bell replied.
Bell turned around and saw the father daughter duo still arguing before he interrupted. "Well it was lovely meeting you both but I need to head home now my goddess is probably worried sick so farewell" Bell said giving a mocking wave to her father.
"Goddess,Nezuko we're back" Bell yelled as he and his friends walked through the door. The four then heard two sets of footsteps coming down the stairs until finally they saw the two small women.
"I'm so glad you're alright" Hestia said jumping at them. Somehow this 4'8 woman was able to tackle 4 teenage boys to the ground and wrap them in a hug. Nezuko also joined in on the hug awkwardly though considering Hestia was somehow able to hug all of them. After the reunion aka Rengoku prying Hestia off the boys they all gathered around the table to talk about their journey.
"So you fell down three floors had to March another two then fight an irregular Goliath sounds like you've been busy" Hestia said pride in her voice.
"Yes and we are all very tired so we are all gonna get some rest before dinner" Rengoku said.
"Uh I don't wanna cook" Genya groaned.
"Well we could always go to the hostess" Nezuko said.
The groups eyes went wide including Nezukos once she realized what she said. "If uh that's alright with you Bell" she said shyly.
"Yeah it's fine but I need to swing by Lokis for a bit" Bell said getting up off his chair.
"Oh and just why are you going there huh you just saw the Amazon" Hestia said smugly. "Fuck not you to and no I'm gonna tell Loki about the grumpy old man in my head considering it's her dad"
"Uh alright as much as I hate her she does deserve to know just be back before dinner and no dungeon diving for a week after today. Almost lost you kids so I need personal time with you all" Hestia said.
"Ha well we could take a vacation I say we've earned it" Bell heard Rengoku say as he shut the door.
Bell walked through the city towards the Loki familia home. He never thought he'd miss seeing actual buildings but two weeks in the dungeon will do that to ya. He kept walking passing the hostess of fertility on the way. He stopped but only for a moment as he saw Syr run pass the bar and into the back. "Tsk getting all emotional when we haven't even talked yet" he scoffed. He shook the thought out of his head and continued walking until he finally came upon the gates. He had a quick chat with the guards who let him in with no problems and he made his way to Loki's office. When he reached the door he gave it a soft knock not really looking forward to this. After waiting a moment he heard a come in from the other side. He opened the door and walked in seeing Loki and her trio of leaders.
"Well if it ain't chibi's brat Finn was just telling me how ya killed a black Goliath" Loki said.
"You saw that?" Bell asked with an eyebrow raised.
"Well we just got the rocks cleared once you climbed into the thing" Finn said sheepishly.
"Huh well I'm pretty sure one of my hands is broken in a few places" Bell joked.
"So I hear you have something to tell me about our mutual friend" Loki said setting a serious tone in the room. Bell took a deep breath before he spoke. "Yeah as of right now Kratos is in my head talking to me" Bell said.
The room went silent when he spoke the three executives looked to Loki to see if he was lying she shook her head signaling he wasn't. "Christ kid that's a lot to unpack" Gareth said.
"That's not all of it. He also gave me a present" Bell said taking the bandage off his eye. The group went wide eyed with Loki gasping. "W-what did he do to you" Riveria asked her motherly instincts kicking in.
"He apparently gave me Odin's eye" Bell said.
"Fucking hell kid that sure is a bomb who else have you told" Loki said her head in her hands.
"Just my familia that's it,I know it's important this doesn't get out but I thought you should know since he was your father after all" Bell said with a voice of sadness.
"Well nothing you can do about it kid and don't feel bad you never asked for any of this he say anything else" Loki asked feeling bad for Bell.
"Yeah apparently I'm one of his descendants and so far he's called me boy and said I was pathetic"
"Yeah sounds like him, anyway kid I found the other weapon I was telling you about but it's in Melen and I have a feeling you and your familia could use a vacation and there's a possibility we might need your familias help as much as I don't want to ask chibi for it" Loki explained.
"Well Rengoku was planning one so it's fine with me and if Hestia sees I'm onboard she'll probably agree to help even if you two don't like each other" Bell said.
"Well hopefully we'll see you in Melen we'll be meeting here" Loki said handing Bell a map with a beach marked on it. Bell took the map and once again thanked Loki for her help and then walked out the door.
"Well that sure was a revelation" Riveria said.
"One so young to have this thrust upon him feel bad for the kid" Gareth said.
"Yet this is just the beginning I fear" Finn added.
"You're right Finn that's why I'm trying to arm him to be prepared. Anyway let's get ready for our trip" Loki said.
Bell exited the Twilight manor and began heading home he saw the sun setting meaning that his familia will already be at the hostess of fertility for dinner. "Well Ryu is definitely gonna be surprised" Bell thought. Bell kept walking until he passed the Tower of Babel before a thought came to him. "Maybe I should invite Welf he seems like a nice dude" Bell thought before heading up the floors. When he reached the 15th floor where some forges were he looked around the floor until he saw Welf talking with the Amazon with the eyepatch he had met in the dungeon.
"So you're finally making magic swords now huh tomato boy" the woman said hammering away at a sword made from a material Bell had never seen before.
"Shut up I just changed my mind fighting that Goliath Tsubaki" Welf grumbled but was head by Tsubakis level 5 hearing.
"Yo Welf" Bell greeted.
"Oh hey man what's up what are you doing here"
"Just coming to see if you wanted to come out to dinner with me and my familia to celebrate coming out of the dungeon alive especially after what it threw at us" Bell said.
"Fine with me I'll get cleaned up real quick"
"You sure it's alright with me to eat with you all" Welf asked as him and Bell walked down the street the hostess in sight.
"Yeah they'll be fine with it hell if it weren't for you we might not have been able to beat the Goliath" Bell said.
"Yeah and falling down three floors marching two and facing an irregular Goliath nothing is ever boring with you it seems"
"You are not wrong about that my man"
The two then walked up the steps and entered the restaurant immediately coming face to face with Syr who was working as the hostess. "Welf why don't you go on ahead" Bell said pointing out where his familia was. "Everything alright man" Welf asked looking between the two. "Yeah just need to have a quick chat" Bell responded. Welf could hear the nervousness in his voice but decided it wasn't his business and he shouldn't pry. So he walked to the table where the group was at while Syr and Bell went upstairs and to her room while Ryu took over as hostess. Mia saw the two head upstairs but didn't say anything she knew it was time for those two to sit down and have a talk.
The door creaked shut behind Syr as she and Bell walked into her room. Her room was a modest little thing with a bed in the top corner with blue sheets. A little night stand with a lamp on it along with some books. A closet for clothes as well as shoes and finally on the bed in front of the pillow was a rabbit plushie.
"I think it's time we had a ta- Bell was cut off as Syr ran into him wrapping him up in a hug. He felt her shaking no doubt holding in tears. He hesitated for a second not knowing what to do before he embraced her.They stood there for a few moments the moonlight shining through the window bathing them in its light. They were nearly the same height so it put Bell in an awkward position but he never said anything. He felt Syr finally stop shaking and felt her pull away from him.
"Um sorry about that" Syr said shyly looking away from him.
"It's fine but like I said it think it's time we had a talk" Bell repeated. The two then sat down on Syrs bed each sitting on opposite sides.The room was quiet but only for a moment before Syr spoke.
"I'm glad you're alright when Hermes came in asking for help and talked about you being trapped in the dungeon I was really worried" Syr said softly almost sounding like she was going to cry again.Bell let out a wry chuckle before he spoke. "Well like I told Ryu the dungeon tried to kill me and it failed miserably but I do understand your worry"
The room once again fell silent neither knowing what to say. After a few minutes passed Bell once again opened his mouth. "Well I think we've said all we can to each other so why don't we start over" Bell then got off the bed and faced her sticking his hand out. "Hi my name is Bell it's a pleasure to meet you" Syrs eyes widened at what he was doing but brushed off her shock before taking his hand and being lifted up. Bell then shook her hand,smiled and walked back downstairs. Syr stood there for a moment not knowing what to do before Bells words finally clicked in her head and a smile graced her face. "Oh Bell you're such a tease" Syr thought exiting her room still smiling seeing Bell sitting with his familia and Welf.
"So Hestia how do you feel about Melen and do you want to come with us Welf"Bell asked as he sat down.
