Tiona POV 5:15 am
We had engaged the back lines nearly 45 minutes ago and we were making quick work of these new monsters. We could now see the castle walls or what remained of them on the horizon. We had gotten word from Ganesha before we arrived that Rengoku was dead and that Bell had flown into a rage he even brought down the tower.
"Please be ok Bell," I thought as I finally made it to the wall with my sister, Ais, and Finn.
"Tiona you and Ais go and find Bell. Tione and I will link up with the knight of knights and help with their battle" Finn said.
So off we went we headed into the castle and split up Ais and I heading one way Finn and my sister heading the other way.
It didn't take us long to find him and when we did he wasn't in good shape. Both of Bell's arms were broken and he was panting heavily no doubt from overusing his skill. Since he had no armor on before the battle started his clothes were ripped and his shirt was nearly gone. Alongside his chest was a cut from a sword and it was a deep one at that.
"Tch you took too long," Revis said.
Revis, what is she doing here?
"Aw well looks like we'll be going now kid be sure to say hi to Rengoku for me," UPM3 said.
Bell then looked like he had a personality switch. What was once a cautious but angry boy turned back into a boy full of rage. He charged at UPM3 but was stopped by Revis when she impaled her sword through the wound she had made earlier. Her sword went through his stomach and out through his back and that seemed to snap him out of his rage.
Bell stumbled backward as Revis took her blade out of Bell and her and UPM3 ran trying to escape.
"Tiona" Bell said as he stumbled towards me.
I ran and caught him before he fell and saw as the sun began to rise.
"I failed," he said as his knees gave out and I sat down so he wouldn't have me holding him in the air. When I sat down I laid Bell across my lap and held him in my arms.
"No you didn't Bell you saved a lot of people you didn't fail," I told him as his breathing because shallower and shallower.
"I failed Rengoku," he said and by this point, his eyes were staring to open and close as if he was trying to stay awake.
"No you didn't he would be proud of you for what you achieved," I said trying to remain calm as it looked like my friend was dying.
"Is that rain?" Bell asked. I looked up and didn't see a single cloud in the sky. I then looked back down at Bell to tell him there were no clouds and my heart dropped. Bell was still his breathing very shallow and his eyes closed.
"Bell," I said my voice breaking. "Bell" I cried out as I started shaking him.
"Tiona" I heard Riveria callout to me.
"Riveria you have to help him I think Bell is going to die. I don't want him to die" I said feeling tears go down my face.
"Move" she ordered as she began to chant her healing spell.
It was a long chant which means the spell will be more powerful but with Bell's internal injuries unknown it would be a race against the clock to save Bell's life.
Finn POV a few minutes earlier.
Tione and I found the knight of knights almost immediately after we split up from Tiona and Ais. He and the woman he was with were relatively unscathed but so was the demon they were fighting.
"Oh, more lambs to the slaughter it seems," UPM1 said.
"Took you long enough Finn" Perseus said.
"Sorry had to fight through their army to get you first," I said readying my spear as Tione raised her knives.
UPM1 said nothing and just stared at us. I have to admit his appearance was disturbing. The aura coming off him was suffocating and it felt like I was starting death in the face. Yet I faced it head on I wasn't afraid. But I was nervous and my thumb was aching. Something was about to happen.
We then watched in confusion as he put his sword away and disappeared.
"Where'd he go," I asked looking around.
"He's run away captain look the sun's coming up," Tione said pointing to the horizon.
I breathed a sigh of relief and faced the knight of knights and the woman he was with.
"I'm surprised to see you're back from sea and who is this woman," I asked cautious of the lady. I feel like I've met her before.
"That is none of your concern braver now go and help the boy," the woman said
"Hey don't talk to the captain like that," Tione said almost like she was bearing her fangs to stick up for me.
"Quiet girl," the woman said with a sharp and dangerous edge in her voice.
Tione was about ready to attack but I stopped her.
"You have a connection to Bell don't you," I asked her as my thumb began to hurt more.
"That is none of your concern" she replied.
"Alright let's all take a deep breath and calm down we're on the same side here no good killing each other," Perseus said getting in between everyone.
"He's right we now know what the real threat is. Evilus and the demons have joined forces. Which means Oraio is heading towards a second dark age" I said now realizing the gravity of the situation.
"Now you know why I've returned from sea," Perseus said.
"You knew this would happen," I asked.
"Not entirely. You see while I was out at sea I encountered a Hashira. We had stopped at a port city to resupply and that's when we met him. It seemed he was also about to head out to sea or he was looking for me I don't exactly know. But he told me I needed to head back to Orario to help in the upcoming second dark age or else Oraio could fall and the world as we know it would crumble" he explained.
"This Hashira what did he look like," I asked.
"He was tall about as tall as Ottar. He had prayer beads and had no pupils so it's my guess he's blind. However, don't underestimate him because from his aura alone he could give me and Ottar a run for our money" he said.
I said nothing and thought for a minute before Ais, Tiona, and Riveria came to us with Bell on Ais's back.
"Finn we need to hurry back to Oaraio Bell needs a healer" Riveria calmly explained as Tiona was crying and Ais looked troubled.
"Alright everyone else should've cleared out most of the army by now," I said getting ready to leave before I heard two figures running up towards me.
"Finn the army just disappeared," Bete said and Allen was next to him.
"That's troubling but we can't think about that right now. Allen, you're the fastest one here and Bell needs your help. I know you may not like the kid but your goddess has taken an interest otherwise you wouldn't be here so I need you to run as fast as you can and take him to the Dea Saint got it" I said knowing full well he would do it but not like it.
"Whatever just give me the fucking brat" he spat as Ais hesitantly handed Bell to him.
Allen said nothing else and took off running.
"Sure it was a good idea to give the kid to him," Perseus asked.
"It's the only hope Bell has at surviving," I said knowing full well Bell could die before he reached Orario.
Well gonna end it here and if you're wondering why they didn't use the gate it's because Brok and Sindri already destroyed it and were also not at the castle anymore. Also if you're wondering why Bell charged at Revis and Akaza it's because Kratos let his guard down when his friends arrived and Bell used that chance to take control of his body again.
Anyway hoped you enjoyed as the war game arc is now finished and we now move into the aftermath of all this. Also, I got discharged from the hospital yesterday.
