Hey guys, before you say anything I would just like to apologize for not posting in around a month I guess, also as compensation I will be doing an extra long chapter, but since that is the case it might take me a couple of days.

Annabeth POV:
"Sooo, how come you moved back" Grover asked stuffing his hands in his pockets
"My dad got a new job" I replied curtly, I hadn't meant for it to sound as harsh but Grover's face fell anyways
"Okay hate to break up this very very beautiful reunion but if you don't want to go hungry I suggest you all start eating" Travis said as he started to unwrap a sub
"I for one am starving"
"Dude, I can't recall a moment in my life when you weren't hungry" Jason stated
"Whatever"
"Ooh, or those Sally's cookies I smell"
"Yes"
"Can I -"
"No you may not"
"Aww" Leo Pouted
(Time Skip: End of the day)
"Well I guess I'll see you tomorrow"
I smiled and tried to hide my blush
"Yeah, see you tomorrow"
With that Percy turned and walked to his car, right before he got in he gave me a small wave which I gladly returned
After he drove away I gingerly got into my car
'Well that certainly was a very dramatic first day' I thought to myself
I started the car and switched on the radio and smiled as 'Best Day of My Life' started playing
Sometimes I feel like music can tell you exactly what you need and want to hear
(Time Skip: Ten minutes later) AN: I just realized I do way too many time skips, sorry
"I'm home"
"I'm in the office" my dad replied
I walked over and knocked on the door
"Come in"
My dad greeted me with a kind smile, his glasses were resting on the tip of his nose and his tie was loose around his neck
"How was your first day at school"
"It was great, I... I'm sorry I was so negative about moving here"
"Hey no worries, I know it's hard to leave your friends and to switch schools, it wasn't fair of me t-"
"No dad!"
"I mean, it wasn't your fault, I was the one who wasn't being fair to you"
his smile returned to his face
"That means a lot"
"Now" he clasped his hands together "Give me details, what classes did you have and which one was your favorite"
I smiled and then began explaining my day to him. It reminded me of when I was younger, he would ask me this every day and then he'd share his day then help me with my homework before putting on one of his sappy romantic comedies, or as he liked to call them 'classics'
I remember when we used to sit on the couch together wrapped in a blanket with a bowl of popcorn in front of us watching 'A Roman Holiday' or 'You've Got Mail' or some other sappy romance movie
I never really realized how much I missed those times or how much I appreciated them
'And done' I sighed and stretched my fingers out
I had just finished my homework , I had been writing for so long I had pencil marks on my fingers
"One foot in front of the other"
I inwardly smiled as I picked up the phone
"Hey"
"Hey Eve, you know I still haven't figured out to change your ringtone"
"That's the point, ya dummy"
"Hey is that how you treat your best friend"
"Oh shut up Luke"
"Wait Luke's there"
His face appeared in the screen
"The one and only" he smirked
"Sooo" Evey said as she took the phone placing it in a way that I could see both of them
"How was school, did it suck, are you trying to find a way to runaway back to San Francisco"
I rolled my eyes at her antics
"No" I paused "School was actually pretty fun"
"Whaat!" she pouted
"Your not supposed to be having fun, your supposed to be crying your eyes out and complaining about all the crappy stuff there"
"Well sorryyy"
"Even I have to say I'm disappointed in you, what's next you gonna replace me" Luke said with mock hurt
The thought of Percy instantly popped into my head
"Ok I was kidding but did you seriously replace us already"
"He means did you replace him, I" Evey dramatically touched her chest "Could never be replaced"
I rolled my eyes again
"You know I could never replace you, I just" I paused trying to find the right words "Made new friends"
"Tsk Tsk Tsk, you hear that Eve, were just sloppy seconds now"
I crossed my arms and raised an eyebrow
"If you two are just going to try and make me feel bad I'm gonna hang up"
Evey Gasped
"You wouldn't"
"I would"
"Ugh, fine"
She crossed her arms and frowned like an upset five year old
"But what am I supposed to do if I can't make fun of you" she whined
"Tell her the news"
My eyebrows rose at this
"What news" I questioned
"Yeah what news" Eve said through clenched teeth
"Come on, I know you want to tell her"
They started a silent argument with their eyes which started to get annoying
"Hello, I'm still hear you know"
"Fine but I get to tell her"
"Come on all ready"
"Okay but promise you won't get mad"
"I promise"
"Okay"
She took a deep breath
"Me and Luke are dating"
My jaw dropped
And I swear I could hear my heart break in half
