"Tha, ahem, that's great" I tried for a smile

Evey and Luke burst out laughing
"You actually thought I would date this idiot"

I stared at them confused
"So your not"
"No, man your so gullible"
I crossed my arms and glared at them
"Our actual news was that" Luke started doing a drumroll on the table
"We get to visit you on Labor Day"
"WHAT!"
Evey smiled, "Yeah Luke's dad has a lot of miles from flying all the time for his job, soo were going to use them to see you"
"I wish I could hug you guys right now"
"Well you'll be able to this weekend"
"Annabeth, dinner time"

"I've already apologized like a hundred times"
"Yeah but it's still funny, I mean how do you accidentally drive over a giant pile of glass that's surrounded by caution tape, in a parking lot"
"Wow" I faked astonishment "I didn't know that my dad had the sense of humor of a five year old"
In my defence I didn't drive over the pile, Percy did, that's why he offered to drive me to school and get me a new tire

"You know I think Percy's still waiting you should go" Bobby said as he shoved me out the door

I turned around to see Percy casually leaning on his car, his messy black hair hung low over his eyes but you could still see the mischievous sparkle in his sea green eyes behind them.
He was wearing a black Led Zeppelin fallen angel shirt with a leather jacket and faded black jeans, two silver dog tags glittered on his neck making a contrast against all the black.
"Yeah like it's not nice to pop someone's tire" I argued
He put his hands up in defence "Point taken, but I am making it up to you"
"Whatever"
I walked over to where Percy was holding the door open for me
"Who knew the school bad boy was actually a gentleman"
He put a finger up to his lips "Shh, someone might hear you" I rolled my eyes
Some things to explain, 1. apparently Percy is the resident bad boy at school, he's known as a player and gets detention at least three times a week.
2. Yesterday, Percy, Connor and Travis thought it would be hilarious if they stole my car keys and took it for a spin, instead they ended up fighting and driving through traffic cones and caution tape and then proceeded to drive right over a pile of broken glass that used to be test tubes but some one had dropped them while they were bringing the supplies to the storage closet (IDK why the closet was outside), so they ended up popping my tires (on my brand new car) so Percy decided to make it up to me by driving me to school.
"So!" he exclaimed as he plopped down into his seat
"You like?" he wiggled his eyebrows
I had to admit it was an awesome car, it was a black Maserati MC20, but of course I wouldn't tell him that.
"Meh, it's okay"
"Hhmf" he rolled his eyes and started the ignition
"So what kind of tunes you into"
"You know I really li-"
"Never mind I'll pick"
"Rude" I huffed
"You know you shouldn't look at your phone while driving"
"You know were at a red light"
I blushed and looked down at my lap
He found what he was looking for and plugged his phone into the car and clicked play
Immediately Queen started playing
"I remember when I got you they're record"
He didn't respond instead he just smiled
"So you still remember the lyrics"
as a response he started singing waving his right hand eraticly
"I see the silhouette of a little man, Scaramouch, Scaramouch, will you do the Fandego! Thunderbolts and LIghtning VERY VERY FRIGHTNING me! Galeleo Galeleo Galeleo Galeleo Galeleo, Figaro magnificooooo!"
I laughed at his antics
"You know, you haven't changed a bit"
he shrugged
"Maybe not that much, but I have changed"
"Oh yeah, how" I challenged
"Wouldn't you like to know" He questioned while winking flirtatiously
"Never mind" I grumbled "Keep on trying to be mysterious see how that works out for ya"
"I heard girls got turned on by the mysterious bad boys" he said hotly
My face started to heat up
"HAHAHA, you- you" he laughed holding his stomach
"Ah you should have seen your face" he sighed as he wiped tears from his eyes
"Just keep on driving jerk" I muttered
Percy POV:
I smiled as we drove, I mean god, she looked gorgeous. The sunlight made her glow and the wind messing with her hair-

'Ugh, what's wrong with me' I banged my head on the steering wheel
"You okay"
'shit, I forgot she was here'
"Yeah" I laughed "Just thinking"
"About what?"
She tilted her head just slightly in the cutest way

I mentally slapped myself
"Don't worry about it" I waved her off
"Whatever" she huffed
We drove in silence the rest of the way, not the awkward type where you kept on trying to think of something to say. No this was pleasant, I kinda didn't want it to end.
"Were here!" I sang
"Great!" she said sarcastically trying to mach my tone
"Come on you used to love school"
"Yeah, but Mr Greemer gives me the creeps" she shuddered
I laughed
"He does that to everyone"
Mr Greemer was the biology teacher, he looks like a total perve but he's actually a nice guy
"Come on, lets go" I unbuckled and hopped over my door landing in a squat
"What not gonna open my door for me this time"
I turned to her and smirked
"Remember, I got a reputation to keep" I winked
"Lets go!" she got out and followed me
Without thinking I draped my arm over her shoulders. She looked at me with a raised eyebrow, I smirked in return.
As we walked in I couldn't help but notice that all eyes were on us, I was used to it but this time was different. Instead of everyone staring at me, all the guys were drooling over Annabeth. I clenched my fists, I couldn't help but help but get mad at those creeps for staring at her like that.
"Sup man" I turned quickly to spot Jason and the others standing by my locker
I grinned and pulled Annabeth over to them.
Suddenly I saw red. And before you go freaking out I don't mean I got mad or anything, I mean I literally saw red.
I stopped dead in my tracks coughing from a mouth full of hair and hair spray.
"What the hell?" I stumbled backwards into Annabeth
"Oh sorry" I mumbled
"It's okay"
I looked up and mentally moaned
"Hey Perce" Rachel purred twirling his hair
"Hey Rach" I rolled my eyes
"So" she strutted towards me
"Theres a party Labor day weekend" she placed a hand on my chest
"Sure!" I grinned
"Can I bring some friends"
Her smile grew "Yeah of course, they were already invited anyways"
I grinned at her
"Thanks Red"
She let out a small giggle it was kinda cute
"Percy, you gonna keep on flirting or get your ass over here"
"I'm coming, don't get your panties in a twist"
"See ya"
I walked over too the group to see Annabeth was already with em, glaring at me.
"Hey wassup man" I gave Jason a fist bump
"What'd you do to tick her off' he whispered in my ear
I shrugged helplessly
"I got no clue"
"Maybe try to apologize" he stated in an obvious tone
"Heeey Beth"
she just turned the other way
I looked at Piper pleading for her help with my eyes, she just motioned at Annabeth and continued her conversation with Hazel
"Look, I'm sorry for whatever I did"
She glared at me harder
"Why are you apologizing if you don't even know what it's for"
"I, uh uh"
"Exactly"
"Oh come on thats not fair"
But she just ignored me and walked with the girls to class, Piper shrugged at me like 'Sorry dude'.
"Man I will never understand girls"
"It's the mystery of life dude" Leo clapped me on the shoulder
