After the verbal contract, I made Cocytus focus on our new ally and its wielder. I then told Solution to practice with her gear and get accustomed to it. Albedo also came in with a lot more recruits than I thought. There were 30 recruits and 20 knocked-out wielders. We extracted the 20s gears and gave each one to the brides. There weren't many noticeable ones, mainly blade blacksmiths and twice criticals. The notable ones were 5 in total. The five allowed for use of an element without calculations. 2 were fire types, 2 water and 1 earth.

My mansion was getting crowded and luckily enough, the twins were done with their mission. They found a lot of places in Russia, Canada, the amazon, the Sahara and more. In the end, I chose a place in Russia. A place in Siberia. Very isolated, the only place near was Magadan and it was still far from the base.

I got some brides to take Viser with both Issei's and Saji's corpses to both their houses. I then ordered her to attack and eat both their parents with the boys' bodies in their own houses. After that, I took Viser to the forest near Kouh and ordered the brides to beat her to near death. I needed to find out if I got XP from killing. With Viser near death, I took a holy gun from my inventory taken when I confronted the fallen in the church and shot her in the head a couple of times. I felt myself grow in power and when I took a look at my stats, my level was at 2. When I was finished, I ordered her buried afterwards to tie up any loose ends.

2 weeks later...

It had been 2 weeks since those affairs and luckily nothing unfortunate for me happened. I gained another level from working out so I began working harder. I also sent shelltear to Romania with 10 of her brides to take over the vampire faction. After that, I remembered Asia was going to come and her gear seemed pretty useful but it was the fallen who came and told me of her and when she would show up. They had been really useful of late after they had grown a new pair of wings. I offered them power for good behaviour. At first, they were skeptical, but with no other choice, they complied. Since they were being well behaved, I gave them to Cocytus to train. When I then saw them after some days they had a new pair of wings and a strong fear of Cocytus. They were still very appreciative and began doing stuff more willingly and happily. They told me she was coming today and so I ordered them to pick her up.

My base in Siberia was also finished being built. A teleportation ring was connected to my mansion so we could travel back and forth. I sent my soldiers there with Cocytus and the extractor. Cocytus also informed me of how well everyone was doing even though they were humans and would be field ready in no time. Solution was also doing well with her weapon, terrifyingly so. I also designed and got our soldier's uniform as well as my pantheon's symbol. I stole both from Assassin's creed to fit with my outfit though our name was different. The creed of Doom with the same insignia as the game series. I made two types of clothing. A modern-day one, similar to the US combat clothes with the abilities of temperature regulation, background blending, hiding temperature signatures and more. The same spells or is it enchantments were placed on the other.

Altaïr's Ibn-La'Ahad's robes or the original robes of Altaïr. Just in black and some additional armour like chainmail underneath the robes, better, quieter shoes, arm and shin guards and the robes were shortened to over the knee. They were being trained in both medieval and modern weapons for either occasion. Once I find a hub world I will be able to send a base there and I'm most likely going to use a medieval world as a base as I along with my pantheon would be the strongest and I would need clothes fit for the time.

This was all good but something else was on my mind. I was planning on approaching either a pantheon or the devils in town. A pantheon to possibly get an alliance. I was especially thinking of Yasaka. Her pantheon was strong but not enough for her to be able to control me or my pantheon. From what I remember she was also a pretty cool person as well, don't forget hot. If I'm not mistaken, the hero faction kidnapped her child and used some mind stuff on her, I think gas, not sure. Though I am sure of the kidnapping. I should send Albedo to Kyoto and recruit some youkai so I could plant some of them near her home and have eyes there.

As I mused this, the Succubus herself entered my room and knelt." My lord, Pandora's Actor has reported that something has happened." Albedo said in a troubled tone. I gestured for her to continue and she did." Pandora first felt the arrival of another devil. One more than usual so he decided to find out why. He managed to get close enough to hear but not see. He heard the devil named Rias arguing with a man who spoke in third person. He called himself Riser. He said that they were arguing about a marriage between the two of them and how Rias was not keen to marry him. Pandora said he would have reported this at his usual reporting hour but another devil far more powerful appeared. One that could even pose a guardian trouble." she said with a bit of worry. Ah, Grayfia if I am not mistaken I thought.

" Did he give any comparisons?" I asked." He said she could defeat him. Though it would be a tough battle he was sure he could beat her though, the fact that someone this powerful was close to us gave way to worry." she said. I nodded and gestured for her to continue." With the arrival of this powerful devil, all arguments ceased. We learnt the powerful devil's name, Grayfia. By her title of lady, we surmised that she is a noble of some kind. This lady Grayfia offered a solution to the problem called a rating game which we also surmised to be a battle between peerages. It was said to be held in 2 weeks. With the arguments settled the devil, Riser and Grayfia left.

Huh, I thought Riser came after the Asia ark? Has the butterfly effect already started? How, besides the deaths of Issei and Saji nothing should have changed this much. " There is nothing to worry about. They have yet to notice us and even if they did, we have a place to go if necessary." I said waving it off." Now, I would like you to go to Kyoto with those of your choosing to recruit some of the youkai." I told her. She looked as though she was about to argue but a look from me stopped any possible arguments.

I dismissed her and as she walked out I saw Raynare coming in after her. She looked a lot better wearing my new pantheons/factions uniform I thought. As I was looking over her she knelt and waited for me to address her. When I got back to my senses I gestured for her to speak." My lord, we have the priestess." she said." From what you have seen of Asia, do you think I should recruit her or just extract her gear?" I asked." Extraction my lord. Her only positive trait is her skill with the gear which could easily be emulated with some time to practice. The rest of her is lacking. She is still very naive, lacks knowledge in everything not to do with the church, lacks the skill and willpower to fight and her innocence while cute can only be a hindrance for everything else. She could be trained but it would take a lot longer because of her lack of knowledge on everything and even if she was trained I do not know if she would be able to fight or support in one due to her lack of willpower and innocence." she explained.

Well with solid points like that, I guess the nun is no more." Go inform General Cocytus so he may pick a worthy replacement and extract the gear. Then get rid of the body." I commanded. With a nod, she stood up and took off.

I let out a heavy sigh as I thought of what to do. I planned on recruiting Tiamat but it involves revealing myself to the devils which I don't want to do until I have a pantheon powerful enough to be able to throw my weight around with not much worry. Plus they have a gear I want. The one Gasper has. A time-controlling gear.

Then it hit me, I have information. Information that could earn me a lot. I began to start chuckling and soon, it turned into full-blown laughter. I knew what to do. It just required the right time and people.

A couple of days later...

It was currently Evening. Rias and her peerage left, without Gasper for the training ark and Sona and her peerage were in their apartment rooms surrounded. " You may begin." I said. A couple of explosions went off that was placed by the houses of Sona and her peerage. At the same instant, Demiurge began rushing into the building Gasper was staying in. An Alarm rang once he passed through the doors of the building but he continue forward for I had planned it all out.

While this was happening, Sona and her peerage made it out of the rubble worse for wear but it wasn't over for them. A barrage of bullets with holy spears came flying their way. " Attack! " shouted Kokabiel, one of the leaders of the fallen.

The same attack was currently happening at Rias's training camp. Several ex-exorcists, sacred gear users and fallen were bombarding their training m area giving them no break. Even worse for them as they had just finished a gruelling exercise leaving them all tired and their mana low.

Back with Demiurge, he had just made it to the room he was looking for. He then broke the barrier blocking the room easily as it had not been created to deal with those of Satan-level power. When he entered, he found his target hiding in a coffin. It didn't take much to knock out and capture the Dhampir but he did feel it use its time-controlling gear. He had to agree with his lord, if such power was in his hands, it would be devastating. Even if human, his lord was still filled with boundless knowledge and wisdom. He could only hope to understand his lord's plan, even just a small part of it. As he was thinking this he was making his escape with the Dhampir in his hands

As Demiurge made his escape, the first deaths of a devil took place. Sona and her peerage were currently hiding between the rubble. They were so focused on the attack in front of them, that they never took the time to survey their surroundings. Never noticed a couple of vampire brides and Pleiade hiding in the shadows nor did they notice when the brides crept closer until it was too late. A bride pounced on the closest person to her, that being Momo Hanakai. The bride latched on to Momo's throat and tore it to shreds with her mouth. Similar fates were met with Reya Kusaka and Tsubasa Yura.

One of the brides tried to do the same to Sona but her queen, Tsubaki Shinra managed to get in front of Sona and use her gear to make the bride bounce back due to the force behind the attack. This though left her open to an attack from the Pleiade who had yet to show herself which she took advantage of. The Pleiade shot a whip out and wrapped it around Tsubaki. The Pleiade now identified as Solution pulled Tsubaki towards herself and knocked her out. With her mission complete, Solution ran off to the mansion base with the brides following behind. Sona seeing this tried to follow only to be shot in the abdomen and then leg as she had come out of cover and the exorcists took advantage of this.

Seeing her king in trouble, Tomoe Meguri ran out of cover and ran to her king. Seeing this, the exorcists began shooting at her. Tomoe still continued to her destination despite this and because of it, a shot got her shoulder and hand. Even with the wounds, she had got to her king and began dragging her toward safety. With her king being shot in the leg and abdomen, dragging her king had slowed her down immensely and the fallen and exorcist took advantage of this. Shooting at her and throwing spears. Many shots got Tomoe but she pushed through the pain and continued. She was rewarded with her efforts by making it to cover.

She dropped Sona behind the cover before trying to get behind it herself but a spear met her head, smashing through her skull and out the other end. Brain matter splattered on Sona's face as she watched the spear travel through her friend and Knights' head.

Rias was not doing much better, though she didn't have to deal with any brides or Pleiades. One thing their enemies did have was knowledge of their weakness due to their new allies. " You know sword boy, it would have been better if you died with the rest of those failed experiments!" shouted a fallen." Ha, I would rather have the cat girl and her rabid sister dead." shouted an exorcist. " I would like to fuck them both first, rabid or not." another exorcist shouted. They all began to laugh and jeer at the devils. " Shut up!" Kiba shouted but it fell on deaf ears.

" Hay Tony, how bout you show sword boy what he has been looking for." a fallen said with amusement. A Fallen flew forward and revealed Excalibur Blessing. That had been the last straw for Kiba as he dove out and ran towards the fallen with the sword. Rias seeing this attempted to stop Kiba but couldn't reach him but left herself open which the exorcists and fallen took advantage of. Shooting and throwing spears at her. Akeno anticipating this, shoved Rias out of the way getting impaled and shot up because of it. Kiba running ahead didn't make it far before getting attacked by multiple fallen. He held up a defence in vain as he was attacked from multiple areas leaving him run through from multiple points.

Laughter and jeers increased. " How foolish! Could the idiot not think at all, running into a trap!" shouted a fallen." Look at the girl, she looks like Swiss cheese!" an exorcist hollered. Rias who saw her closest friends die began crying as she lost any hope of surviving. As the fallen began to fly to her position, magic circles started appearing all over. A flash of light came from the circles revealing the leader of the devils himself, Sirzechs Lucifer with his peerage and dozens of devils right behind him

Something similar happened near Sona's location but it was the strongest female devil and her peerage leading a small army of devils. Serafall Leviathan, Sona's sister. The person who found out what happened through one of her many secretly placed cameras in Sona's apartment.

An intense silence fell over the coming battlefields as both sides of each field glared daggers at each other waiting for the other to make the first move.

From a safe distance away, I was watching the whole massacre of Sona's peerage unfold with 2 figures standing behind me." My lord, your endless intelligence and wisdom used to come up with such an ingenious plan leaves me in awe." said the voice identified to be Albedo from behind me." Indeed, my lord. To manipulate 2 factions to this degree, taking and placing one of the Leviathans cameras in view of the battlefield beforehand was an ingenious play." said the new addition to my ranks, Tiamat. " We have yet to do much. This is simply the beginning." I said with a growing smirk. Looking at Kokabiel, I remember how this began.

Flashback

A couple of days earlier...

" Sebas, get the fallen." I commanded. After a bit of time, the three fallen came in and knelt. " Do you know where Kokabiel is?" I asked. " He was at the fallen's main base when I was there last, my lord." Kalawaner said. " Are you still able to get back to your base?" I asked. " We should be able to, my lord but it may raise questions as we are supposed to be on a mission." Raynare said with a bit of worry. " Excellent, then go back to your base and get in contact with Kokabiel. If you cannot get to him, pass this message on to him and make sure whoever you pass it to knows it's important." I said handing Kalawaner a letter. I saw hesitation fill all their eyes but a stern look from me sent them off.

Later that Evening

As Demiurge, Cocytus and I stood in the park Issei originally got killed in, the sight of Kokabiel and some of his generals came into view as they came closer and closer. "Good evening, Kokabiel, lovely weather we are having." I said with a smirk." Who are you and how did you find out what my plan was as well as the fact that I stole the Excaliburs?" he growled." Not trying to hide it I see. Well, I am just a person looking to help." I said as I tossed him another letter.

He caught it and began to read it. When he finished, he looked up at me with suspicion." What do you get from this?" he questioned." I just need 2 things. An Excalibur or the ability to choose one of its users and to be taken to one of your underworld bases. All for the price of my help. Nice and cheap wouldn't you say." I said with a grin. We just stared at each other for a while before he spoke." I don't know what your game is here, but if you betray me, you shall meet a fate worse than death" he threatened." wouldn't expect anything less. " I said with a smirk.

With our new alliance agreed to, I was first taken to the underworld with Demiurge, the twin elves, Cocytus and some of my soldiers. I gave them the task of looking for the familiar forest and with their combined efforts we found it in 2 days. I along with the guardians made our way there. It didn't take long to get there and find Tiamat's cave. I sent my guardians in. In just 10 minutes and thunderous explosions, the guardians came out with Tiamat in her human form beaten and bruised but still conscious. She then bowed down to me and pledged to be my familiar which I accepted.

I of course kept her hidden from Kokabiel and took her to my Russian base to get healed. The next day, I told Demiurge to get Gasper on my go as I had a distraction in place. I then instructed Solution and some brides of an attack on Sona's peerage and the likely scenario.

With my plans in place and Kokabiel holding off giving me an Excalibur till after the mission he planned. I also sent Sebas to retrieve and disconnect a hidden camera most likely placed somewhere in Sona's room. I told him to place it on a building staring at the future battlefield and to be ready to reconnect it.

Albedo had made it back from her mission with 100 youkai of various sizes, ages and health. She had gotten a lot of them from the streets and others looking for a fresh start in life for whatever reason. I had sent them to my Russian base to also be trained by Cocytus.

Flashback end

As I looked down at the coming battle, I turned around and began to depart. As I made my departure, I took a switch out of my pocket and flipped it. As soon as I did, a large, deafening explosion blew from behind me and several shouts of agony came from down below where the battle was soon to take place and soon shouts of battle came." Now, I think it's time to go." I said with a yawn as I continued to walk away and soon followed by my two generals.
