Chapter 2: A "New" Dawn
It is a beautiful day in the Mushroom Kingdom (hear we go again). The sun is shining, flowers are blooming, birds are singing, and all throughout Toad Town there is nothing but pure love, joy, and happiness. The citizens have been bustling with excitement ever since the arrival of the King and Queen's newborn daughter Princess Peach Toadstool. Kamek and his crew have not been heard from for quite a while as well. It is a peaceful time for the citizens of the Mushroom Kingdom…
Now, lying north of the main area in Toad Town, past the star-shaped bridge, we see a large red-and white Central European-style castle. Around the outside exterior lies a gigantic moat that connects out to a beautiful sparkly lake and a shiny clear waterfall to its left. Behind the castle lies an array of vast green rolling hills signifying the kingdom's immense landscape. This is Mushroom Castle (future Peach's Castle) home to a workload of toads and the kingdom's owners the Toadstool family...
"I am filled with much joy and excitement my queen." said King Toadstool. "The kingdom is at peace and the stars having blessed to us our little Toadstool."
The highnesses are having a relaxing time on the front balcony viewing our Toads partaking in the celebrations of Princess Peach's arrival...
"Indeed my love, everyone is having a wonderful time." said Queen Toadstool. "You see this my darling Peach? This will all be yours to rule some very day. I wish to the stars above you will grow up to be a fine ruler that this kingdom has ever had."
The young monarch giggled with a smile at her mother's words as she looked down towards her homeland down below. Little did this peaceful city know they would soon be led to an intense battle for the ages…
Meanwhile at Yoshi's Island the Chief has returned from a nice vacation and is about to bear the horrible news of recent events…
"This is some troubling news indeed." said the Chief. "Kudos to you Yoshi and friends for foiling the Koopas' plans and reuniting the twins. Those babies must be important to this world's future for that evil wizard to go this far."
The Chief then immediately sent a letter to Mushroom Castle regarding the events that took place on the island. This is a matter of high imortance that will require the King and Queen's involvement. With the Chief's letter in hand Parakarry Sr. quickly soared off across the sea towards Toad Town. Very soon will dire events have yet to be ready to unfold…
Author's Note: Hey guys! Da da da da Dum Chapter 2! Had to focus on school for a bit but here is the new chapter. Now that you have caught a glimpse of how Peach's parents were like and their reign it is soon time for things to start really kicking in. Who knows what will happen in the next Chapter?
