"You really expect me to remember some nobody?" Edo said as he looked at Yuzu dead in the eye.
"You really don't? I guess you've carded that many people!"
"Yes I have! Now are we going to duel or just talk?!" Both Edo and Yuzu held up their duel disks which auto shuffled their decks.
Across the field Yuzu's duel disk activated the Action Field "Crossover". Blue platforms appeared around them and the Action Cards dispersed.
"Duel!" both yelled.
Turn 1

"You have no relevance to us now but you're more than welcome to become a card!"
"Just go!"
"Fine! I summon Destiny HERO - Drilldark!" A thin light and dark brown humanoid appeared with drills for fingers and drills on his hips.
Destiny HERO – Drilldark ATK: 1600 DEF: 1200 Dark/Warrior/LVL 4
"Drilldark lets me summon another Destiny Hero from my hand as long as that Monster's attack is equal or less than Drilldark's, I choose Destiny Hero Drawhand!" A male in a white coat appeared with a long purple scarf.
Destiny Hero Drawhand ATK: 1600 DEF: 800 Dark/Warrior/LVL 4
"When summoned by the effect of a Hero Monster we both draw a card!"
"Fine by me!" Yuzu drew as did Edo.
"I play Polymerization to merge my two Monsters! Now become one and reign in the pitch-black future! Fusion Summon! Come on! Destiny HERO - Dystopia!" He was a mighty hero in a purple outfit with yellow markings. His mask was yellow with a red "D" on his forehead.

"I can inflict damage to you equal to a level four or lower Monster's attack in my graveyard when its Special Summoned!"
"Both are 1600…." Yuzu repeated to herself.
"Exactly!" Dystopia shot forward and unleashed a purple beam from his hand which hit Yuzu in the chest.

"I now play the Continuous Spell, Destiny Time and I now set one card to end my turn."

"I draw!"
"Sorry, Yuzu but I need to do something first!" Edo smirked as he interrupted.
"What is it?!"
"First during the first Standby Phase after I sent Drawhand to the graveyard, it can be summoned to my field but banished when it leaves."
Destiny Hero Drawhand ATK: 1600 DEF: 800 Dark/Warrior/LVL 4
"And I use Destiny Time's effect!"
"You know you had your turn, right?" Yuzu irately replied.
"It's only one more effect I promise! Destiny Time lets me place a counter on it during each Standby Phase and if my opponent doesn't control any Monsters… it gains two instead!"

"Finally!"
"Well….. not actually….
"Now what?!"
"Yuzu, you're playing into his hands!" Ray tried to get through to Yuzu.
"Don't fall for it." Warrior added who appeared.
"I use Dimensional Barrier!"
"That thing…. of course you have it as well."
"It's an Academia fan favourite! For the rest of this turn you can't Pendulum Summon and all Pendulum Monsters have their effects negated…. now I'm done!"
"I've overcome Dimensional Barrier before! My deck is more than just Pendulums!" Yuzu replied.
"Or maybe your deck is too much of different things rather than focusing on one."
"My deck has the power from all the dimensions but they fight as one… same as me and my friends will do against Academia. I playAltar of the Goddess! I add a Ritual Monster to my hand then I can Ritual Summon! I add Melodious Prima the Exceptional to my hand and I'll send Melodious Prima Simphony from my hand as tribute!"
A blue circle surrounded Yuzu as Simphony shot into it.
"I Ritual Summon, Melodious Prima the Exceptional!" A girl with a blue-clad staff manifested on the field with a blue robe.
Melodious Prima the Exceptional 500 ATK / 2500 DEF / Light / Level 7 / Fairy / Ritual
"I play the Spell Melodious Hymn! A Fairy Monster on my field gains its defence equal to its attack during this turn, power up Prima!" Prima sung as 2500 points were added to her attack.
Prima ATK: 3000
"Wipe out Dystopia!" Yuzu yelled as her Ritual slashed Edo's Monster through its chest, causing it to explode.
Edo LP: 4000 – 3800
"Destiny Time's effect! Once per turn during either turn I remove a counter to return a Destiny Hero to the field from my graveyard!"

"Return Dystopia!" Edo commanded as his warrior returned from a yellow portal.

"And I use his effect again! I hit you 1600 points of damage from Drilldark!" Dystopia fired another purple beam; this time around the ground was standing making her shield her eyes.
Yuzu LP: 2400 – 800
"800 lifepoints already…" Ray said to herself. "Yuzu!"
"It doesn't matter. Hymn allows me to put Prima into defence after battle. I set one card and end my turn!"
"200 damage is all you could muster? That's weak!"
"Be quiet!"
"No. I will make it clear to anyone with such a big mouth about what a mistake they've made! Maybe that's what got your father carded?"
"What did you say…..?"
"You heard me, maybe he got himself carded! This is his fault!"
"Yuzu…. don't react…." Ray slowly tried to calm her friend down.
"Do you really need everyone to protect you?" Edo added. "Come on, defend yourself!" Yuzu clenched her fist on her chest as it tightened. Her teeth gritted. "Come on…. I'm the one who carded your father apparently…." Edo teased.
"Just make your move!"

"I draw! And now Destiny Time gains a counter!"

"I play Destiny Draw! I discard Destiny Hero Decider to draw two cards!"
"Yuzu, are you okay?" Warrior asked her.
"Stay out of this… I need to do this on my own…" Yuzu thought back.
"You know you're not alone."
"I have to beat him…. I know what others said about revenge but…. he doesn't even remember him…. I have to beat him!"
"I use Destiny Time to summon Decider!"

"Now I play my second Polymerization!"
"Another Fusion…."
"I fuse all three Destiny Heros on my field! I Fusion Summon Destiny HERO – Dominance!"
Emerging from the sky was a huge sliver sword which landed in the ground. The sword sparked with light blue lighting as a huge knight wearing purple armour and a cape appeared next to it. He picked up the sword and aimed it at Yuzu.

"2900 attack?!"
"I use his effect! I can look at the top five cards of my deck and rearrange them in any order I want…. or I can do it to your deck!"
"What?!"
"Yes I'm doing it to your deck!" Edo smirked as a holoscreen appeared and he saw the five cards. "Well this was going to be bad for me….. how about I do this!" Edo swapped the cards around on screen and Yuzu's deck shuffled them in that order.
"Cheap move!"
"I don't understand why you're so upset? So I can't remember a nobody…"
"HE WASN'T A NOBODY! Academia think they can just kill anyone they want… you had no right to do that!"
"Yes we do, we're merely bringing the world into order. We're the ones who recognise this!"
"I…. I….."
"Cat got your tongue? Ironic I say that… I turned a female duelist into a card who used a Cat deck not far from here!"
"I will turn you into a card!"
"Yuzu!" Ray gasped.
"Yuzu, don't say that!" Warrior added.
"Will you two get off my back?!" Yuzu snapped. "I don't need to listen to anyone…. not a spirit or a girl who looks like me!"
"What would Ciel-"
"Ciel's not here anymore! I have my own life… and I'll handle it my way! Now be gone!"
"I can't and won't! You know Sin exists and your connection to the spirits means he can come-" Warrior tried to continue but a dark aura surrounded Yuzu which forced Warrior to fade away. "Yuzu!"
"That'll be enough of that."
"What was that?!" Ray questioned as she and Yuzu both teleported away from the field.
"Is this… a spirit?" Edo questioned as he was left bemused by what had just happened.

"Now where are we?" Ray said as she looked around. "Samurai… Yuzu…. can you hear me?"
"They can't help you here!" replied a voice which echoed around the area.
"You're…. that evil duel spirit…. Sin! Where's Yuzu?!"
"I exist from the darkness created by the previous world…. the girl's connection to the previous world means I can appear with or without Ciel! And now she's mine."
"Don't you dare! Take me!"
"Your darkness is nowhere near enough! Think of it like this…. this is a girl who got everything taken from her and she knows the boy she loves will also be gone soon!"
"I've lost the same! We all have! Why pick on her?!"
"Everyone has lost someone, true but she's your leader…. and she's failed at every turn!"
"That's false and you know it!"
"But she doesn't think so!" Sin replied. "She might've had help along the way but this girl is beaten and torn!"
"No! She's got a strong heart and mind!"
"Yes she does… but I guess Edo is her weakness! Now you won't interfere!" Metal chains shot from the ground and clamped around Ray. "You won't get her…! You can't…!"
"She already is!" Sin yelled.
…..
"Sin….. just show yourself!" Yuzu yelled as she looked around the dark blank space. "Ciel is gone!"
"I know…. and surely you want a helping hand?" Sin replied as he took the form of a purple ghoul before Yuzu.
"I want nothing from you! Get away!"
"I have exactly what you don't have! That power!"
"I know I can save-"
"This isn't about the angels or the dragons! This is about getting revenge on the male before you!"
"I don't need a single thing from you!"
"You know you can't win!" Sin snapped. "You wouldn't have got this far without Ciel's cards! The Queen Knights have helped you and now you need me!"
"They help me!"
"But Ciel's gone… she can't give you access to anymore cards and the deck your using now is not doing so well… is it?!"
"But I saw…. I know we still have that power within us!"
"Maybe but the longer you go without a connection the more that power fades away! You need me to beat Edo, save Ciel… get revenge for your father!"
"No… I don't…. I can't….!" Yuzu stuttered.
"This is your chance, girl! Take it! You are strong enough to control my power!"
"But everything my friends have said?!"
"Were lies, they know the same as you do! You're a fourteen year old in a war you never should've been in! You all need help! Help them by taking me!"
"I won't embrace evil!"
"I'm not evil or good. I exist purely due to the darker feelings people feel. Dark doesn't mean evil, everyone has those feelings!"
"I….. guess…." Yuzu stuttered.
"Now take my power!" Sin replied as he held up a deck with dark aura.
"I…."
"When Ciel killed the crazy king Leo in the past world she felt the same doubt as you feel now…. that motivated her to become the best she could be…. surely you want that? Do you want to lose? You need me!"
"I… fine!" Yuzu shouted as she turned her head in disgrace as she took the deck.
"The deal has been made!" Sin roared with delight.
Yuzu saw her arm slowly begun engulfed in a dark aura as her hand became frozen on the deck.
"No…. I can control it!" she yelled before screaming due to the pain. Her vision went black.
….
Yuzu reappeared before Edo with her back turned. She had been missing for about two minutes but since Edo knew about the spirits, he was aware they could sometimes pull weird tricks.
"Where did you go? Running?!" Edo mocked. Yuzu slowly turned around with a big smirk on her face, her eyes were bright blue with black iris however they lacked their usual full of life look.
"I have all the power I need, Edo…. I'm going to kill you!"
"Kill me?! You… you don't talk like that?!" Edo was taken fully out of the tense duel; he had not expected the "K" word to ever leave Yuzu's mouth.
"Come at me! COME ON!"
"Enough of this!" Edo snapped out of it as he leapt up the platforms of the Action Field. He found an Action Card and played it. "I use Block! This negates the first effect you would use this turn and now I attack!"
"I play my Trap Rhythm Wind!"
"It's negated!" Edo yelled as it dissolved.
"Thank you, Edo! I play the Trap Sin Wave from my hand!"
"Sin what?!"
"When a Dark Monster attacks I can play this from my hand! That attack is negated and I draw one card!"
"This doesn't match up to the data we have on you?" Edo replied as a dark wall blocked Dominance. Yuzu drew a card and continued to smirk.
"Your data has nothing on me!"
"I…. end my turn…."

"My move! I draw!"
"Destiny Time gains another counter!"
Destiny Time: 2
Edo looked up and went looking for another Action Card while Yuzu knew exactly what she wanted to do.
"Using your enemy's weapon… pathetic." A dark spirit shot out of Yuzu which resembled Sin and fired towards the Action Card Edo was going for. The spirit hit Edo in the chest, knocking him off the platform.
"What are you?!" he yelled as he landed.
"I'm better than I've ever been." Yuzu replied. The spirit took the Action Card and dropped it so Yuzu could grab it.
"I use Destiny Time to return Dystopia!"

"Take 1600 damage again!"
"I use Acceleration to make effect damage zero!"
"About time you countered that! Leader of the Lancers going down to the same move would've been embarrassing!"
"It's time to wipe the smugness off your face! I play Sin Draw; this Spell lets us both draw cards equal to the amount of Dark Monsters on my field!"
"Fine by me!" Edo replied as both drew two cards.
"I play the Ritual Spell Sacrifice of Pendulum!"
"Sacrifice? What are these new cards?!" Edo thought.
"I add a Ritual Monster from my deck and then I must use a Pendulum Monster in my deck to summon it!"
"It can't be?!"
"I add Queen's Knight: The Sacrificial Paladin and I now use my loyal slave Warrior to Ritual Summon again!"
"You…. can't! Yuzu…. stop…. this!" Warrior tried to speak to Yuzu but her voice was distorted.
"Enough of you now serve me!"
Yuzu raised her card into the air and a shadowy circle appeared around her. Warrior appeared and looked behind to see a shadowy hand grab her.
"Yuzu!" Warrior yelled but Yuzu just watched.
"Appear before me Queen's Knight: The Sacrificial Paladin!" A blue cloaked warrior with black armour appeared.

"Now I know you're using a different deck! You'd never… ever let something happen to your ace Monster?!"
"I'm different…. BETTER! Paladin's effect lets me send a Pendulum Monster from my hand to increase her attack when summoned! I send a Pendulum Monster from my hand to increase her attack! I send Sinful Blue which increases the attack by 1000!"
Paladin ATK: 4000
"When Sinful Angel is sent to the graveyard I can draw a card! Now attack Dystopia!" Paladin's golden sword easily slashed through Dominance's blade and cut the Fusion in halve.

"I set one card and end my turn!"

"I draw!" Before Edo could use Destiny Time Yuzu had already gained another Action Card.
"I play Banish Show! I banish Destiny Time!"
"What?!" Edo gritted his teeth as his Spell was removed. "Fine…I didn't need that card anyway! I summon a second Decider!"

"Now my Trap D-Fusion merges Decider and Dominance! Appear, Dusktopia!"
From the sky shone a golden light which was clear to see for miles. As the light faded a golden armoured warrior emerged.

"His effect lets me Fusion Summon with material in my hand! I fuse Blade Master and Diamond Dude to Fusion Summon a second Dystopia!"
"Again?!"
"Yes! You didn't see that coming! You might've changed your deck thanks to spirits but I'm winning the fair and square way!" Dusktopa put his hands into the air and a golden whirlpool emerged which fused the two Monsters in Edo's hand.

"I use his effect to hit you with 1600 damage!"
"I use my Trap, Sin Gate! I tribute Melodious Prima the Exceptional" Prima screamed as she vanished in a dark light. "Now for each Dark Monster on the field X by 1000, Monsters with attack equal or lower than that number can't attack or activate their effects!"
"What?! There's three…."
"So 3000 or less are locked down this turn!"
"Whatever power you have… it's merely delaying your defeat! I end my turn!"
Turn 6

Yuzu LP: 800 Hand: 0
"Well then I won't delay any longer! Draw!"
"I won't let you hold all the Action Cards!" Edo was able to grab one by jumping up three platforms.
"Then I'll also take one!" Yuzu held up her hand and a dark force shot up to knock another Action Card to the ground. She picked it up and smirked. "Reuse lets me reuse a Spell in my graveyard! I use Sin Draw!"
"We both draw cards equal to the same amount of Dark Monsters." Edo replied as both drew three.
"I'm glad you understand! I summon Sinful Gold!" A golden crystal with black spikes around it emerged.
Sinful Gold ATK: 0 DEF: 0 Dark/Fairy/LVL 5
"It can be Normal Summoned if I control a Special Summoned Monster! It allows me to summon Sinful Blue!" A blue diamond appeared with dark aura.

"And its level becomes equal to Gold!"

"I use the Spell Sin Up! I tribute a Monster and double the levels of all the Monsters on my field! I tribute my Ritual!"

Sacrificial shot into the sky and dark beams were flying towards the field. "When Sacrificial is destroyed she moves to my Pendulum Zone and all Monsters on your field are banished!"
Sacrificial 1-
"Then I use my Action Card Negative Zone! My Monsters can't leave the field via an effect once this turn!"
"Fine but when Sacrificial moves to my Pendulum Zone, I can summon her!" Yuzu replied as the Dark Monster returned.
Queen's Knight: The Sacrificial Paladin Card Type: Ritual/Pendulum/Effect Attribute: DARK Level: 8 ATK: 3000/DEF: 2800
"I overlay Gold and Blue!" Yuzu declared as both shot into the Xyz whirlpool which formed into the sky. "Appear, rank ten, Queen's Knight: Berserker Paladin!"
Emerging was a bronze knight with shadowy eyes and a pale face. Underneath his armour was his bare chest.
Queen's Knight: Berserker Paladin Card Type: DARK/Rank10/Fairy/Xyz/Pendulum/Effect Card Effect:
"When he's Xyz Summoned I can banish up to five Monsters from your graveyard and increase his attack by 500! I banish Drilldark, Dystopia, Decider, Blade Master and Diamond Dude!"
Berserker ATK: 3000
"I use one of his overlay units!"
Berserker OU: 1
"Now if your lifepoints are higher than mine all your Monsters are banished and you take 300 lifepoints! And since Negative Zone only works once, you're out of luck!"
"No!"
Paladin gained a dark sword and slammed it into the ground which fired dark beams. Both beams hit Dystopia and Dusktopia, easily wiping them out. Once destroyed Edo was engulfed by a dark aura which made him fall to his knees.

"You're only allowed one Action Card per turn and you have no set cards. Unless there's something in your hand then this is game over!"
"Just get it over with!"
"You turned my father into a card…. you don't even remember him…. I'm going to make sure this hurts!"
"You know my father was killed by a member of Yusho Sakaki's school in Fusion! It's only fair!"
"Then die!" Yuzu roared as Paladin slammed his sword into the ground which sent a huge shockwave towards Edo. The shockwave sent Edo flying into a crumbled building causing the roof to cave in on him.

"Now finish him off…." Sin whispered to Yuzu.
