Yuzu walked to Edo with a grin on her face. No one was left to stop her from killing Edo.

"Do it!" Sin whispered to her.

"N…. No!" Yuzu said as she stopped and held her head. "I can't kill him!"

"All that stuff you said….. you meant it!"

"It was anger... it was…."

"You agreed to this of your own free will…. I've done nothing but help you fulfil your wish! You wanted to hurt him!"

"No! I wanted him to suffer…. I didn't want to hurt or kill him! I…. I don't know what I was saying!"

"You don't have a say in that! You belong to me!" Sin yelled.

Before Sin could hurt Yuzu they saw a blue light emit from underneath. Edo had teleported out after he regained consciousness.

"NO!" Yuzu shouted. "You….. how dare you! I wanted to hurt him more not kill him! You let him get away!"

"It's the same thing! I guess I need to assume full control to truly help you!"

As Sin's shadow emerged from Yuzu she fell to the ground. Sin was ready to make her his self.

"No….. what… I…."

From the shadows a bright red light was seen being fired towards him. Sin fired a dark beam at it, cancelling the two out.

"Who dares interrupt?!" Sin roared.

Stepping forward was Yuya…...

Heartland Tower

"Yuzu did this to you?!"

Edo had arrived back at Heartland Tower with Shark, Ancient One and Marina.

"It's fine, Marina… it was an unfair duel… some duel spirit got in the way!"

"It appears to be Sin…. the devil of our old world." Ancient One added.

"I thought you dragons were meant to be the strongest!" Edo replied.

"I never said we weren't!"

"Whatever… we have more important matters. If what Shark says is true, we have civil war!" Edo said as he held his rib as he walked towards the computer on the wall.

"What are you doing?" Marina asked.

"We need to report this!"

"Yeah you're right. Let me do it though, you're in no state."

Academia – Fusion Dimension

"Yuri and Serena wish to see you, Professor." Dennis said as he stood in front of Leo.

"Fine let them in." Leo replied.

Dennis departed as Serena and Yuri walked in. Leo ordered the Obelisk Force in the room to depart.

"We're ready to be given our next task." Serena spoke with a smile.

"We've recovered from our Synchro mission." Yuri added.

"I would indeed encourage you to continue your mission, Yuri…. the remaining dragons are out there. Since we have all bracelets, your job is done, Serena."

"But I can still contribute."

"Of course but for safety reasons, I'll need your bracelet."

"I… I can't do that!"

"Of course not….. since I'm talking to the angel who lives within! And the same to the dragon within Yuri!"

"Oh well it was worth a go!" Serena yelled as her eyes turned bright purple, Yuri's also did the same thing

"You knew then…." Starving smirked. "What about this?!" Elisa and Starving held their arms forward and purple energy begun flowing out of Leo's body. Leo yelled and dropped to his knees while holding his chest.

"You're….. taking the…. power you gave me?!"

"We had a little talk in Synchro about stopping Academia before we finish our war with the Angels… we figured you'd be a hindrance." Starving replied.

"So you… made a pact?!"

"We know that you have some sort of backup plan…. had we opted to go with our original goal to destroy the castle!" Elisa said.

"But we can take out its head rather!"

"You knew…. all of this… before?" Leo stuttered as his skin started to go pale.

"You were dying even with life support… now our energy sustains you! Perfect to remove at any time!"

"So you had a twist to your plan…. I'm impressed….."

"Something's wrong…." Starving gave a sharp breath as he looked around.

"Very… VERY wrong!" Leo laughed as he stood up. "We can contain dragons now, what makes you think we can't contain you?!"

"But we're here…. killing you?!" Elisa snapped.

"If you know anything from Yuri and Serena's memories… it's that I created Real Solid Vision! Holograms with mass!"

"You can't have?!" Starving looked around and saw the room dissolve. It turned out that the two were actually in Leo's throne room except there was a whole group of Obelisk Force around them with Leo sat on his throne. Above was a Real Solid Vision projector.

"None of that was here before?" Elisa said as she looked around.

"It doesn't matter! You'll burn!" Starving roared as his right hand glowed in darkness. He fired it at Leo but before it could hit them, the attack faded as it hit a wall.

"We have the equipment needed to stop dragons now; we merely combined it with Real Solid Vision!"

"No… this is much more… you've used our powers to… create holograms with life…." Elisa noted.

"And the penny drops! It created a fantastic fake Leo to show my… "pain!".

"King Leo's incarnation can actually wield the power?!"

"It seems so…" Starving gritted his teeth. "You hurt me, Yuri dies!"

"I don't care for them. I just want you! I guess this is why you're not the leader!"

"You dare say that to my face!"

"I just did! Now!" Leo yelled as Dennis hit a button on a remote to release gas into the Real Solid Vision arena, both dropped quickly to the floor.

"It seems all the research on Yuzar and Yugo has paid off." Dennis complimented.

"Yes. Now we can contain and subdue them… and let's not forget, control them." Leo said as he stood up. "Remove Serena's bracelet and take her to her room."

"And… Yuri?"

"Place a collar on him." Leo replied. Before Leo appeared a holoscreen.

"Professor, we have a call from the Xyz Dimension."

Heartland – Xyz

"Understood, Professor." Marina replied to Leo who hung up on the holoscreen.

"Well?" Edo prompted.

"The students who are loyal to him will have their parasites activated. They will soon return to us. If Ryo has found some way to disable them in the student's minds then he's sending a army as backup." Marina replied.

"And Ryo himself?"

"Leo's coming over himself to finish him off. Our job is simple, we need to get the people he's captured and bring them here."

"Leo…. himself?"

"Leo knew the risks of Ryo so… wants to take him down personally." Marina said.

"And the Lancers? Gloria… Mina?"

"Not important for now. Ryo is our number one thorn in the side. Now then…. let's get everyone ready.

Yuzu

"Odd-Eyes…. what a surprise to see you." Sin stated with spite.

"If you're going to appear, don't appear just around the corner where my shell is!"

"And why are you here? I don't threaten what you do."

"That's very true. You get fed from the terror we cause…. but helping out an enemy of the dragons makes you our enemy!"

"I only make deals when they arise…. it's nothing personal!"

"I understand! But you're still just a spirit…. a spirit who has a lot of potential…. for me!"

Odd-Eyes pull his hand forward which glowed, Sin noticed his body begun flowing towards him.

"You think you can absorb me? Well that's very interesting!" Sin smirked as he fired a dark beam towards Odd-Eyes which hit him in the face.

Before Yuya all he could see was the repeating battles with Ciel and the other angels. Mixed in were visions of his past friendship with the angel before they fought. He saw his brothers mocking him for not being tough enough.

"ENOUGH!" Odd-Eyes roared as his vision returned.

"How…. how did you break that?!"

"Because I accept my pain! I wasn't tough enough before... but my brothers didn't go far enough! I was the one who merged us all and I'm still the only one strong enough now! And soon we will become one again! But first you're mine!

Odd-Eyes used his rage to increase his power. Sin could do nothing now as he was flowing into the dragon.

"You better put me to good use!" Sin yelled in excitement as he faded away into Odd-Eyes. Odd-Eyes looked at his hands as he could feel the increased power.

Ray reappeared on the ground after she was freed. She looked around and saw Yuzu flat out.

"Yuzu!"

"Wait, Ray…. Odd-Eyes is here!" her spirit, Samurai said.

"Just great…."

"Hello there, Samurai!" Odd-Eyes smirked at her.

"I…. I don't think we can stop him…"

"Just hold him off until I can get to Yuzu!" Ray yelled as she made a run for it but Odd-Eyes slammed her into the ground with a dark blast.

"Ray!"

"You really are a foolish shell!"

Yuzu's deck begun glow and this caught Odd-Eyes attention. He knew she was coming.

"Warrior!"

Since Sin's power had left Yuzu's spirits were now able to give their power to Warrior who was charging at him.

"You can't win!"

"No I can't! But I'm making sure the seal remains a little longer!" At this point, Yuzu was aware of what Warrior was doing and had slowly gotten up.

"Wa… Warrior….?" she stuttered.

"Yuzu…. I have to do this…. plus…. I'm not…. sure if I can support you anymore….." Warrior shot into Yuya's deck.

"What do you mean?!" Yuzu replied as Yuya's deck glowed and Odd-Eyes bent down in pain.

"This is only a short-term fix, Warrior! I'm awakened and ready…. do you hear me?!" Odd-Eyes roared as the dark aura faded and forced Yuya onto the ground.

"Yuya! Ray!" Yuzu yelled out as both were now badly hurt. Yuzu then saw her deck falling out of her duel disk; each card was white and faded. "What…. what have I done…?"

Resistance Base

Everyone had returned to the base including Yuzu, Rio, Ray and Yuya. The mood was sombre.

"We know our people are out there!" Ruri said putting her fist onto her hand.

"Yeah but…. we have no plan now." Shun replied as he leaned against a wall.

"Okay!" Rio yelled as she got off the ground. "We need to get access to Heartland Tower and the Coliseum."

"Wait… you don't actually mean?" Anna interrupted.

"Yeah… we need to be bait…. we need to plan for the morning."

Coliseum

Gongenzaka, Masumi and Reira all stood in the jail as they watched two Xyz duelists battling each other to Ryo's soldiers.

"I…. I want to go home!" Reira cried.

"We will, Reira. Don't worry." Masumi replied as she looked around the arena.

"Even the man Gongenzaka can't break these bars!" Gongenzaka yelled in frustration as he tried to open them again.

"We need to be smart… stay alive for Reiji and Grace. Remember the others are here as well."

They heard footsteps with a solider appearing before them with keys.

"The little one and you…. the male, your turn!"

Ryo

"I never liked using Heartland Tower…. reminds me too much of Leo!" Ryo smugly said as he spoke to his soldiers in the centre of the coliseum ring. "And now…. we have two Lancers fighting each other!"

The crowd all erupted into a large cheer as Gongenzaka and Reira came out with shock collars on them.

"This is our dimension now!"

Reira looked around and the thoughts of the Fusion war came back into her mind, the loud noises brought everything back.

"I…." Reira stopped.

"Reira… we have to be strong." Gongenzaka reminded her. She nodded and continued forward.

"This little girl is the sister of a certain Reiji Akaba…. I think he should be allowed to watch this!" Ryo announced to more cheering. A holoscreen appeared and Reiji along with Grace were being held in an undisclosed location.

"Brother!" Reira yelled but Reiji couldn't speak back as it was muted.

"This really is the life!" Ryo roared along with his soldiers. A solider came up to Ryo and whispered in his ear. "Is that so? They always have to spoil everything…."

….

Marina, Edo, Ancient One and Shark all stood in front of the Academia soldiers as Leo emerged from the purple teleport. The soldiers all stood to the side as Leo walked to the front.

"They think they can turn against us? These soldiers are unfit for our new world!" Leo shouted.

"Professor… sir… could I speak to you briefly." Marina said as she raised her arm.

"Fine…" Leo replied as they walked to the side.

"We… don't need to card them? Do we? I mean they have parasites in their heads upon enrolling…"

"We can't. If we do that, the other students will know. They don't need to know. I want my utopia to be filled with free-thinking people. Controlling is always the last resort. " Leo replied. "I hope this isn't doubt?"

"No, sir, never! I'm sorry."

"That's a shame. Doubting is good… in the right way. I'm no longer a dying paranoid man…. I need people who will question my choices to make sure I'm doing it right."

"We've always sided with you, sir. You saved our world…. we have full trust in you…" Marina slightly stuttered towards the end and Leo noticed this but he let it be.

"Yuri and Serena will be safe. I promise you."
