After Dijin was able to calm down to a degree the Gaang started to try and figure out what do next.
Aang stared off at the city and said "I can't believe it. I know the war had spread far, but Omashu always seemed... untouchable."
Sokka looked at the city with regret and said "Up until now it was, Now Ba Sing Se is the only free Earth Kingdom city left."
Dijin then shouted "And it's all my fault!" next Dijin punched a nearby boulder shattering it.
Katara was instantly at his side saying "No it's not! Neither you or King Bumi could have known this would happen."
Dijin looked at her before saying "But it was my job to protect the city and I failed!"
Katara frowned at him and said "Bumi sent you with us to help Aang and from what I briefly know of him he doesn't do anything without a reason."
Dijin's eyes widened for second before his gaze softened and said "Thanks Katara, that helps a little."
Katara smiled at him before Sokka spoke up saying "Look, as horrible as this is we have to move on."
Both Dijin and Aang said "No."
Aang stood next to Dijin and said "I'm going to go find Bumi."
Dijin spoke next saying "Me too."
Sokka annoyed at their stubbornness said "Aang, Dijin, stop this. You guys don't even know if Bumi Is-"
Sokka was cut off by Dijin who angrily yelled "Don't you dare finish that sentence Sokka! I know my teacher and I know he wouldn't allow something like a group of Fire-benders to take him down. Also, like Katara said he wouldn't let this happen unless he had something big planned."
Katara spoke up next saying "Aang, I know you had your heart set on Bumi to teach you. But there are other people who can teach you Earth-bending."
Aang just looked at the city again saying "this isn't about me learning Earth-bending. This is about saving Dijin's teacher and my friend."
Katara and Sokka just sighed before Katara said "Ok, what do we do?"
Aang just gained a awkward look as he said "I know a way in but your probably not gonna like it."
Sokka just said impatiently "Let's just hurry and get this over with."
Aang then shrugged his shoulders and led the others to Appa so he could fly them to his secret entrance.
After flying low to avoid any Fire-benders Aang had them land down below the main gate where there was a pipe and a metal grate.
As Aang tried to get the grate off Sokka said "Why didn't we go this way when we first came here?"
Just as Sokka asked that Aang got the grate off letting a small river of feces and other disgusting excrement's.
Aang then gave Sokka a knowing look saying "Does that answer your question?"
The Gaang then climbed into the now identified sewage pipe. Aang went first, Katara second, Dijin third, and Sokka last.
As the group climbed the pipe Aang would Air-bend the sewage away, Katara would Water-bend it, Dijin had Earth-bent a slab and was using it as a shield to block and push the sewage away, Sokka however got the worst of all them, due to him not being a bender the only thing he could do was helplessly climb the pipe while feces and other disgusting things were thrown in his face and body making him gag and vomit on occasion.
xxLine Breakxx
Finally, after what seemed like hours the group climbed out of the sewer and onto the nighttime streets of Omashu. Soon everyone was up top except Sokka but as they waited for him, they heard a despairing moan come from the sewer.
They all looked and soon a blob that was made of all the disgusting things in the sewer climbed up. The others grimaced realizing who the blob was. So, Katara quickly thrusted her arms forward Water-bending a nearby jar of water and making the disgusting goop wash away revealing Sokka.
Sokka was relieved to have to the goop off of himself but he soon panicked when he felt two somethings sucking on his face. He started to scream and yank on the small creatures on his face saying "Aagh! They won't let go! Help!"
Aang realizing their cover was going to be blown said harshly "Be quiet! Do you want us to get caught? These things are harmless." Aang then simply tickled the little creature's heads making them let go of Sokka's face. However, the creatures left suction marks on it making it look like he had some kind of illness.
Aang held the little creature in his hand and pet it saying "Look, it's just a tiny Purple Pentapus. They just stick to things at random so they can move around. They won't hurt anyone."
Sokka looked at the little creature and saw that it looked like a tiny octopus but was purple in color, it had eyes going around its head, and it had six tentacles that had Multiple suction cups on them.
Suddenly the group heard someone shout "Hey!" and they saw a group of Fire-benders head their way.
Dijin and Aang knowing they had wanted posters quickly made to disguise themselves as Sokka and Katara blocked them from view.
Once the soldiers got close Sokka and Katara separated revealing Aang using his red sash from his waist as a head wrap. While Dijin had used his yellow sash to make a face mask.
The soldier who appeared to be the leader spoke up saying "What are you kid's doing out past curfew?"
Katara replied with "Sorry. We were just on our way home."
They all then turned to leave but the soldier said "Hold it!"
The group stopped a little nervous while the soldier walked up to them and pointed at Dijin asking "Why is he wearing a mask?"
Dijin smoothly replied "I was born with a cleft lip sir so I'm embarrassed to show my face."
The solider grimaced at hearing that and said "My apologies citizen. However, I must ask you four one more thing."
Katara asked "What is it sir?"
The soldier pointed at the suction marks on Sokka's face saying "What's the matter with him?"
Katara getting a clever idea to get rid of the soldiers said "He has Pentapox, sir."
The soldier leaned in close to get a better look but Katara quickly said "Um, it's highly contagious."
Sokka getting the idea started groaning like a zombie saying "Ugggh help me! I'm dying!"
The soldiers believing the act started to get scared while one of them said "Hey, I think I've heard of Pentapox. Didn't your cousin Chen die of it?"
The leader then said "We better go wash our hands and burn our clothes!"
The soldiers then took off running leaving the Gaang alone again.
When the coast was clear the Gaang started to look for Bumi while dodging guards here and there.
After dodging another guard Katara said "let's find Bumi and get out of here."
Sokka spoke next asking "Where would they keep him?"
Dijin answerd saying "Somewhere he can't bend and that's pretty hard."
Sokka curious asked "What do you mean?"
Dijin just replied "You really don't get how strong an Earth-bender my teacher is. But that's beside the point what I'm saying is that he would have to be in someplace made of metal and not only that but also somewhere high up too."
Aang looked around and saw a metal statue of Ozai being built on the mail chute system. Aang thinking that was as good as place as any said "Come on, I have a place in mind." He then led the group towards the mail chutes.
xxLine Breakxx
As the Gaang got close to the mail chutes a small Fire Nation noble family were on a walk enjoying the city.
The patriarch of the family was man who looked to be in his late forties, he had black hair tied in a bun and top knot, he had black eyes, he had a small mustache and goatee that covered his face, he wore a brown and red Kimono with a black obi, he also wore a pair of brown hakama pants and black curled toe slippers.
The Matriarch of the family like her husband wore an elegant brown and red Kimono, she had black hair as well but done up in an elegant bun with a top knot, she had brown eyes, in her arms she held her infant son Ton-Ton, and for shoes she wore wooden sandles.
The last member of the family was a 17 year-old girl, she had long black hair that was styled in a hime cut, she had two panda braids on top of her head while also having two long strands going over her shoulders, she had black eyes that showed nothing but boredom, she wore a red long sleeve turtle neck shirt with large cuffs that covered her A-cup chest, hidden inside her cuffs was a custom arrow launcher, over her shirt she wore a black vest which underneath held a variety of knives and throwing weapons, she had on black leather finger-less gloves, on her lower body she wore a matching pair of red hakama pants, and for shoes she wore black steel toe curved boots.
As the family walked the teenage girl could only groan as she said "There really is no fathoming the depths of my hatred for this place."
The girl then glared at the city itself while her mother admonished her saying "Mai, your father was appointed governor. We're like royalty here. Be happy and enjoy it."
However, unbeknownst to the supposed happy family a team of Omashu Earth-benders were getting ready to take the first step in reclaiming their city.
An Earth-bender soldier saw the Fire Nation family approaching and said "The targets are approaching."
The leader of the Earth-benders didn't hesitate and said "Take them out."
The soldiers obeyed and sent a rock-slide down the mail chute in hopes of crushing the Fire nation nobles.
However, just at the same time the Gaang had shown up and Dijin saw that the rocks were going to crush a child and his mother. So, without a second thought he quickly thrusted his fist forward bending the rocks away from the family.
The family looked at the rocks in shock before the Governor saw Dijin and the others while screaming "It's the resistance! Don't let them get away!"
The Gaang quickly turned tail and ran but instead of the soldiers going after them the governor's daughter Mai gave chase.
The girl showed amazing athletic skills by running and jumping across objects to reach them almost catching them a few times.
Dijin tried kicking up a boulder and throwing it at her but she just power slid under it while quickly standing back up and throwing a handful of knives at him.
Aang acted quickly and used his staff to Air-bend a current that knocked the knives off course.
The group continued to run as Aang used his staff again to destroy a nearby scaffolding to slow the girl down.
But suddenly before they could run further the ground underneath them flipped upside down making them all disappear.
Mai jumped over the scaffolding but saw her targets were gone. So, she just let out a bored sigh before sheathing her knives and headed back to her parents.

Once the ground had flipped the Gaang had apparently fallen into a secret cavern and were surrounded by Earth-benders.
The Gaang stood up and were approached by an Earth-bender who appeared to be the leader. He wore the standard Earth Kingdom uniform which consisted of a tan robe that went to his waist, he had green loose-fitting pants, he wore no shoes choosing to be bare foot, he wore studded bracers on his ankles and wrists, He had brown hair that went to his neck,he had brown eyes, he had a brown mustache and beard that went to his neck, and on his head, he wore a green round wide brimmed hard hat with a yellow spike on top of it.
Dijin recognizing the man said "Yalo! What in the spirits happened while I was gone!"
The now identified Yalo just frowned and said "There's a lot to explain. You'd better come with us."
The Gaang looked at each other before following Yalo to his destination.
After walking for a few minutes Yalo led the Gaang to a secret cavern lit by green crystals. Inside the cavern were apparently all the citizens who were able to escape the invasion. There were also resistance fighters placed all around the cavern as well.
Once Yalo came to a stop Dijin walked up to him saying "Ok, first things first. Where's King Bumi? Is he here leading you?"
Yalo just growled in hate saying "Of course not!"
Dijin shocked at the soldier's tone and words said "Explain yourself!"
Yalo just turned away with a grimace saying "When the Fire Nation invaded, we were prepared to fight for our home, our King, and our freedom. We were even ready to lay down our very lives but then..." Yalo then slammed his fist against the wall saying with hate "But before the attack even started, King Bumi surrendered!"
Dijin looked at Yalo with wide eyes before saying "There's no way King Bumi would surrender without a fight!"
Yalo just looked at his old commander with regret saying "When the Fire Nation brought down the gates, his exacts words were 'I'm going to do nothing' before he laughed in his strange way."
Dijin looked away from the soldier in thought thinking to himself "Going to do nothing? Why does that sound familiar?"
Yalo spoke up again saying "It doesn't matter now. Fighting the Fire Nation is the only path to freedom. And freedom is worth dying for."
Dijin walked up to the soldier and placed his hand on his shoulder saying "I couldn't agree more Yalo."
Yalo smiled at his old commander happy to see he hadn't changed before Aang spoke up saying "Actually, There's another path to freedom. You could leave Omashu."
Dijin's growled at the thought saying "No way! I abandoned this city once, I'm not doing it again!"
Aang looked at Dijin with compassionate eyes saying "You're putting all your energy into fighting back but you have to face facts, your outnumbered, your men are tired, morale is low, and you have thousands of innocent people who need to get out of harm's way."
Aang then hardened his gaze at Dijin saying "Aren't you the one who said no matter what nation you're from women, children, and the elderly had no place in war?"
Dijin looked at Aang with a slight grimace before looking at all the people gathered in the cave and saw Aang was right. They were all just tired of it all, the fighting, the running, the hardship. Dijin then looked back at Aang and said reluctantly "Fine."
Yalo eyes widened hearing his commander give in to a child and said "But sir!"
Dijin just shouted "No buts Yalo! Our priority is saving the people of Omashu. A city can always be rebuilt. It's the cities people that matter the most."
Yalo looked at his commander in awe realizing now more than ever why he was chosen as the Right Hand. Yalo then said with a determined gaze "As you command sir. what are our orders?"
Dijin held a hand to his chin saying "First we need to figure out how we are going to move an entire cities population without being attacked."
Suddenly Sokka spoke up having an idea as usual saying "Suckers!" Everyone looked at him strangely before he smirked at all the people in the cave saying "Your all about to come down with a nasty case of Pentapox."
After Sokka's declaration he explained that they were going to do the same scam they pulled earlier only on a much larger scale. So, with the help of Aang and Katara they were able to collect enough Purple Pentapuses to make marks on every citizen of Omashu.
Once everyone had marks on their bodies everyone went up to the surface to enact the plan. Then when everyone was topside Sokka spoke up again saying "The marks make you look sick, but you gotta act sick too. Really sell it."
Just as Sokka said that an old man with a peg leg and covered in Pentapox marks started limping in front of everyone while moaning saying "Ohhhhh. Owwwwww. Uhhhhggh."
Sokka impressed just pointed at the old man "Yeah, basically like that. Good job."
The old man just smirked and said "Years of practice." before he tapped his peg leg and continued to walk away.
Sokka quickly shouted "Okay, everyone into sick formation!"
While Sokka got everyone ready Dijin and Aang stayed behind which Katara noticed. She then walked up to the two saying "Aang, Dijin what are you guys doing? Aren't you coming with us?"
Dijin replied first saying "No. Aang and I talked it over and...
Aang finished his thought saying "We're not leaving until we find Bumi."
Katara nodded her head in understanding before saying "Just be careful guy's."
Aang and Dijin just nodded back before Aang Air-bent himself onto the roof tops and ran while Dijin propelled himself through the streets using Earth-bending.
xxLine Breakxx
After searching for a few minutes Aang and Dijin were able to find a spot to witness Sokka's plan in action.
Down below in the city's streets the citizens were acting like zombies and moaning in distress. The Fire- benders who were guarding the city saw the oncoming crowd and started to panic shouting "Plague! Plague! Sound the alarm!"
Dijin and Aang then watched as the soldiers started to send out a city-wide alarm. Then the order was given for the citizens to be let out of the city.
After seeing that the two benders decided to continue their search for Bumi. However, unknown to anyone the governor's infant son Ton-Ton had somehow managed to mix himself into the crowd of Pentapox victims leaving the city along with them.
After searching for another hour Aang and Dijin found a horrible sight. Bumi's pet Goat-Gorilla Flopsy was chained to a gear wheel and was being forced to be the engine for a machine.
Dijin and Aang instantly went to the animal's side with Aang starting to freeze Flopsy's chain while Dijin comforted the animal saying "Hey boy, long time no see." Flopsy quickly grabbed Dijin and gave him a big lick with his huge tongue just as his chain broke. Dijin smiled at the affection saying "I missed you too buddy."
Aang then looked at the creature before asking Dijin "Do you think he knows where Bumi is?"
The animal just cooed affectionately while Dijin said "Let's find out." Dijin then climbed onto Flopsy's back with Aang doing the same. Then out of instinct Aang said "Yip, Yip."
When Flopsy didn't move Aang scratched the back of his head awkwardly saying "Right, that doesn't work for you."
Dijin just smirked and said "Try this next time." Dijin then bent to Flopsy's ear and said "Hey Flopsy, Daddy wants to give you a big belly rub!" Flopsy quickly roared in happiness before taking off at a fast pace using his large arms to propel him through the streets and rooftops." Dijin and Aang just held on tight as they looked high and low for King Bumi.
Sadly However, even after searching until it was dark out, they couldn't find a trace of the crazy earth king anywhere.
Then the two plus Flopsy somehow managed to sneak out of the city and were now slowly making their way to the rendezvous point Sokka told them about.
The three came walking into the make-shift campsite with looks of dejection as Katara and Sokka walked up to them.
Once the siblings were close Aang spoke first saying "We looked everywhere but we couldn't find Bumi."
Dijin spoke next saying "It just doesn't make any sense! How could a powerful Earth-bender like Bumi be locked away without any sign of his location."
Katara hugged both her friends knowing this was hard for both of them before Yalo walked up to them saying "Sir, we've got a problem."
Dijin let go of Katara instantly on guard and said "What's wrong? Did we lose someone?"
Yalo shook his head saying "No, we just did a head count and we apparently picked up a guest." Yalo then turned to side and Dijin's eyes widened realizing who the guest was.
On the ground in front of them was the governor's son Ton-Ton the same child Dijin saved last night. The child was currently squeezing poor Momo in a bear hug and laughing with joy while everyone stared at him in shock.
Dijin looked at the child before looking at Yalo and said "How did this happen?"
Yalo just shrugged his shoulders saying "He must have blended in with the mob."
Dijin just got agitated and said "You're telling me no one seemed to notice a toddler walking among them and not just any toddler but the son of the fucking governor!?"
Dijin didn't get to argue further due to Katara hitting him upside the head and saying harshly "Dijin! Language! there is a child present." Katara then bent down and held her arms out saying cutely "Come here little guy."
Ton-Ton seeing Katara's smiling face laughed and waddled over before happily going into Katara's arms. Katara started cooing at the child before saying "Come on guys. Let's sit down and eat." She then started to speak cutely to the baby again saying "I bet this little guy is starving." she started to tickle the babies stomach making him laugh more.
The men just watched the exchange dumbfounded before shaking themselves off and gathering around the campfire.
After everyone had eaten their fill, they started to try and figure out what to do next as Ton-Ton wandered around between them. While Dijin was speaking to Yalo about where to take the citizens Ton-Ton went to play with Sokka's boomerang club and suckled on its handle.
Sokka seeing his beloved weapon being used as a pacifier grabbed it saying "No! Bad Fire Nation baby!"
Ton-Ton upset at being yelled at and his supposed toy taken away started crying hysterically.
Katara pissed at her brother for making a baby cry punched him in the shoulder saying harshly "Look at what you did! Make him feel better!"
Sokka just rubbed his shoulder and grumbled before giving his boomerang to the child saying somewhat sarcastically "Sorry, here you go."
The child just stopped crying and started laughing now that he had his "toy" back.
Katara started to coo at the baby again saying "Awww, your so cute!"
Yalo and Dijin stopped talking after hearing Katara and they just watched her coo at the baby until Yalo said "You think he's cute now but just wait till he grows up, he'll join the Fire nation army. You won't think he's cute then. He'll be a killer"
Katara just looked at Yalo appalled and grabbed Ton-Ton holding him to her chest saying "Could this guy really grow up to be a killer?" she started to tickle the baby again making him giggle while Dijin and Yalo gave her deadpanned stares and thought to themselves "Yes, we do think he could grow up to be a killer."
Suddenly the were brought out of their discussion by the sound of a hawk cawing above them.
They all looked up and saw a Fire Nation messenger hawk land on a nearby boulder waiting for one them to take its message.
Dijin quickly went over and grabbed the message and started reading while Aang showed up and read what he could from Dijin's side.
As they read Sokka spoke up saying "Well, what does it say?"
Dijin spoke first saying "It's from the Governor. He knows we have his son and wants to make a trade."
Katara then asked "Trade for what?"
Aang spoke next saying in surprise "He wants to trade his son... for King Bumi!"
xxLine Breakxx
The next morning after talking it over, the Gaang agreed to do the trade-off realizing Bumi was too important to let him slip by them.
So, now they were getting ready to make the trade. Sokka had Ton-Ton strapped to his chest sitting in Appa's saddle while the others climbed onboard. While they positioned themselves Sokka said "You know we're probably walking into a trap."
Aang looked at Sokka with a positive gaze saying "I don't think so. I'm sure the governor wants his son back as much as we want Bumi." Aang then tickled the toddlers' belly and said "It's a new day. I have a good feeling about this."
The group then got comfortable as Aang had Appa fly to where they would make the trade-off which happened to be the under construction statue of Fire Lord Ozai.
Once they landed and climbed off of Appa they came upon three girls.
Starting from the left was a girl who looked 16 she had brunette hair that was short on top of her head but long in the back, Her bangs were styled so they frame her face and she had a high braided ponytail that went to her butt, She had unique silver eyes, she wore an all pink outfit which had a pink crop top shirt with the sleeves going to her forearms, the shirt did nothing to hide her ample d-cup chest, but on her shoulders and chest was leather armor which she custom dyed pink, she wore pink wrist guards, she wore pink form fitting pants that went to her shins, and for shoes she wore pink pointed slippers with a strap going over the top of her feet.
Not that any of them knew but the girl was named Ty Lee a Fire Nation Nobleman's daughter who has been "Friends" with the other girls since childhood.
The girl on the right was the same one from the other night. The Governor's daughter Mai.
However, the third girl in the middle none of them really knew except Dijin if only by reputation alone. His eyes widened in shock never expecting to meet this individual in person but standing before him with a confident smirk was "the Lady of the Blue Flame" herself, Princess Azula of the Fire nation.
Dijin quickly spoke to the group in a quiet tone saying "You guys, we need to be very careful. That girl in the middle she's the most dangerous out of anyone in the entire city."
As they walked closer to the girls the others let out their surprise subtly before Sokka harshly whispered "Are kidding me!? Who is she?"
Dijin just whispered back "I can't say much but she's Fire Lord Ozai's second child and is a supposed Fire-bending prodigy." Dijin then let out an audible gulp saying "They say she can produce fire so hot it glows blue."
The others eyes all widened at hearing that before they quickly schooled themselves and prepared themselves for what may come.
Once everyone was gathered the sound of a machine whirring echoed around them. Dijin's and Aang looked up then they smiled brightly seeing both their teacher and friend alive and well. At least well enough one can be when your sealed in a metal coffin except for your face.
As Bumi was lowered he cackled insanely saying "Hi, everybody! the view is amazing up here!"
Then once Bumi was on solid ground Mai stepped forward saying "You got my brother?"
Sokka stepped forward showing the baby while Aang said "He's here. We're ready to trade."
However, before they could even begin Azula walked up next to Mai and said "I'm sorry, but a thought just occurred to me. Do you mind?"
Mai just looked at the princess and said "Of course not, Princess Azula."
Azula continued speaking saying "We're trading a two-year-old for a King—A powerful Earth-bending King at that."
Dijin seeing what was happening growled out "Don't you dare bitch! We held up our end of the deal!"
Mai just glared at the Earth-bender and said "No, she's right." Mai then drew a handful of knives saying "The deals off."
As soon as the words left her mouth Bumi's coffin was lifted off the ground while Dijin and Aang's eyes widened in panic as their friend and teacher was taken away.
Aang acting quickly Air-bent himself upwards to go after Bumi but in doing so he undid his head wrap and blew Dijin's mask away showing off his tattoo and his friend to everyone.
Azula seeing the tattoo whispered "The Avatar." she then smirked evilly saying "My lucky day." she then made to chase Aang by using a weighted lift.
However, she was blocked by a sudden Earth-wall being made in front of her. She looked behind herself and saw Dijin there in an Earth-bending stance.
Azula smirked at seeing his face before getting in stance of her own saying "You know, I've heard about you."
Dijin just hardened his gaze trying to not let the girl get into his head.
Azula just started to circle him while saying "The late Admiral Zhao used to rant about how you were the guard dog to the Avatar and your so-called Lava-bending was a menace." she then eyed him up and down saying "Well, he was right about one thing. You are definitely a dog." she then chuckled at her insult.
Dijin continued to ignore her and started to circle her as well and gauge when to strike but then Azula said something that truly affected him.
Azula continued smirking while she said "After Zhao mentioned your abilities, I did some digging. Apparently, six years ago an underground bending ring was discovered somewhere in the Earth Kingdom where it's reigning champion used Lava-"
Dijin didn't let her speak anymore as he instantly attacked punching his fist forward and sending a stream of lava at her screaming in fury "Shut your mouth!"
Azula just dodged the stream laughing joyfully since she finally got into Dijin's head.
Next Dijin slammed his foot down and spread his arms sending Earth-spikes everywhere.
However, with amazing acrobatic skills Azula expertly weaved and dived around the spikes before rotating her body sideways and sending a stream of blue fire at Dijin.
Dijin eyes widened before crossing his arms creating an Earth-wall to block the flames but just as Dijin predicted Azula's flames burned hotter than normal fire. So, now his Earth-wall was slowly melting but as luck would have it Aang finally got Bumi loose and the two started traveling down a mail chute.
Dijin seeing Sokka and Katara holding off the other two girls quickly shouted "Sokka! Katara! I'm going after Bumi with Aang!"
The siblings just shouted "Right!"
Dijin then ran and jumped off the platform they were on and onto the mail chute Aang and Bumi were on. He then hopped onto the side of the chute and started to use Earth-bending to slide across the chute at a fast rate.
Azula quickly noticed Dijin's departure and said with an evil smirk "Oh no. We're not done yet." she then saw a trolley going down the chute next to the one Dijin jumped into. She smirked again before running over and jumping into the trolley to chase after her prey.
Once Dijin caught up with Aang and Bumi, Aang was laughing joyfully while he said "Just like old times isn't Bumi?"
Dijin chose then to hop onto the coffin with Aang and crouched down so he could talk to his teacher saying "Bumi Sifu! I'm so glad you're okay!"
Bumi just looked at the two with a strained look saying "Aang, Dijin! I need to talk to you two!"
However, before they could talk further Dijin and Aang had to duck Since Azula had shown up and shot a Fire-blast at them.
They looked up and saw she was on the chute above them but she quickly remedied that by pulling an amazing stunt.
She stood on the edge of her trolley and actually jumped off of it! However, she further surprised them as she held her fists behind herself and a steady Jet-stream of blue flames came out of her hands propelling herself over to their position.
Aang tried to slow her down by sending a wave of Air with his staff but she just increased the power of her flames making her blast through Aang's attack and letting her land on the coffin with the two of them.
Azula smirked at the two and said giddily "The Avatar and his guard dog. It really is my lucky day." Azula then instantly went on the attack punching her fists forward and sending two streams of fire at the two.
Dijin ducked down to dodge while palm thrusting her wrist upwards to redirect the attack while Aang bent backwards to just dodge the fire.
However, thanks to Aang's Air nomad training he was able to swing his staff while in his awkward position and hit Azula in the side making her lose her balance somewhat.
Dijin capitalized on this and raised his fist to make a bump in the chute which made the coffin bounce making it seem Azula would fall.
Sadly, they weren't so lucky. Again, with an amazing feat in acrobatic skills Azula jumped in the air and re-positioned herself before landing once again on the coffin steady as can be.
Dijin realizing she wasn't going to go down easy only had one idea left so he looked at Aang with regretful eyes and said "Aang."
Aang stared at his friend confused by his look and said "What?"
Dijin just hardened his gaze and said "Get Bumi out of here."
Then without a word Dijin tackled Azula off the coffin making them both fall as Aang slid away with Bumi screaming "DIJIN!"
Dijin and Azula briefly slid down the chute before they quickly stood up and got into their stances. Azula was breathing a little erratic thrown off by the Earth-benders bold move. Dijin just glared at the girl while being prepared for anything.
Azula let out a small chuckle before saying "I have to admit that was either very noble of you or very stupid." she smiled evilly before saying "I'm leaning towards the latter."
Dijin just glared at the girl before saying "I have one job that matters to me now. Since your damn nation has taken everything from me."
Azula just smirked at him asking "Oh, and what job is that?"
Dijin just growled out with as much hate as he could saying "To make sure Aang put's you and your Father into the ground!"
Dijin then surprised her by simply jumping high in the air before reeling his right fist back and letting out a rage filled roar "RAHHHHHHHHHHH" he screamed and slammed his fist into the chute while landing in a crouch.
Azula watched in a slight panic as she witnessed the entire structure they were standing on begin to crumble and fall apart.
This time Dijin smirked at her saying "See if you can get out of this one bitch."
Dijin then turned around and started to run down the chute while Earth-bending any stepping stones he needed until he was safe.
Azula glared at the retreating Earth-bender before noticing an intact chute across from her but if she wanted to make the jump, she would have to run up the crumbling chute she was on a few yards.
Azula then quickly made her way up the chute dodging rocks and debris along the way. Next just when the chute was about to fully collapse, she jumped throwing her fists behind herself using her Jet-stream technique to get across to the other chute safely.
Azula watched the other chute fall into the city below before fixing her hair that had come a little loose. She then made her way back to Ty Lee and Mai while thinking "Hmmmm. Dijin the Lava-bender. He could prove to be a problem if not dealt with." her eyes then widened as she had an idea that involved her father's latest project in invading Ba Sing Se.
She then smiled evilly while having one final thought "We'll meet again Dijin and next time your Lava-bending won't help you." she started to laugh evilly then as she made her way up to her comrades.

When Dijin made it to the bottom of the chute, he saw Bumi was perched on a pedestal made of Earth he made and Aang was freaking out saying "Wait! You could have Earth-bent this whole time!" Bumi just smiled and said "They didn't cover my face. Anyway, you and Dijin had things handled."
Aang got a little upset at that comment saying "What are talking about Bumi! Dijin just sacrificed himself so we could get away!"
Bumi just raised an eyebrow at that statement and said "Then who is that standing behind you?"
Aang eyes widened as he quickly turned around and smiled wide before running forward and hugging Dijin saying "Dijin! I thought Azula Killed you! After everything you said about her, I didn't know what to think."
Dijin just hugged him back saying "I'm sorry Aang I didn't mean to make you worry." Dijin then lightened the mood saying "But if you think I'd die that easily than you don't know me very well."
Aang laughed lightly before he turned back to Bumi with Dijin doing the same.
Dijin then stepped forward and said "Sifu, I don't understand. Why didn't you free yourself? Why did you let the Fire Nation invade! Forgive me sir but what is the matter with you!"
Bumi just smiled at Dijin and said "Listen to me, the both of you." Aang stepped forward to listen with Dijin as Bumi said "There are options in battle called Jing. It's a choice of how you direct your energy."
Both Dijin and Aang were getting frustrated with Bumi since what he was saying was common knowledge.
Aang then said "We know this already! There's positive Jing when you attack, then there's negative Jing when you retreat."
Bumi just smirked at the two and said "And neutral Jing when you do nothing."
Dijin's eyes widened in remembrance before saying "That's what you meant when you told Yalo you were going to do nothing. You were practicing neutral Jing!"
Bumi smiled at Dijin saying "Ah, I see you finally remembered one of our most important lessons."
Aang shocked to hear about a third Jing said "Wait. There are three Jings?"
Bumi looked up for second saying "Well, technically there are 85 but let's just focus on the third."
Bumi then got serious and said to them both "Neutral Jing is the very key to Earth-bending. It involves waiting and listening for the right moment to strike."
Dijin realizing what Bumi was Getting at said "That's why you surrendered. Now is not the time to fight but regroup and come back another day."
Bumi just nodded at his student saying "Exactly, and that's why I can't leave now."
Aang then turned around and looked down sadly and said "I guess I need to find someone else to teach me Earth-bending."
Bumi smiled at his young friend and said "Your teacher will be someone who has mastered Neutral Jing. You need to find someone who waits and listens before striking."
Dijin just looked at the King reluctantly before he said "But I can't just leave you here. Your too important to so many people. Including me."
Bumi just frowned for a second and said roughly "Right Hand of Omashu!"
Dijin instantly stood at attention with Bumi saying his title. Next Bumi spoke with absolute authority and said "I am the King so what I choose to say and do should be considered law. correct?" Dijin nodded and bowed his head slightly while Bumi continued to say "So, I hereby give you a new mission. You are to ensure Avatar Aang's survival so he can fulfill his destiny by any means necessary. Failure is not an option do you understand?"
Dijin raised his head before placing his right fist into his left palm and said "I understand Sifu, no harm will come to the Avatar as long as I draw breath."
Bumi then gave the two a crazed grin before saying "Oh I'm not worried I'm the one who trained you after all." Bumi then laughed in his usual way before saying "Well, time for me to surprise some Fire-benders. Bye-Bye you two." Bumi then raised his face Earth-bending the ground under him before making the ground launch him into a mail chute. He then raised his face again making the mail chute carry him upwards as he laughed insanely.
Dijin and Aang watched him leave with sad smiles before they heard Katara scream from above them saying "You guy's, okay?" they quickly landed and Katara looked around asking "Where's Bumi?"
Aang just smiled sadly and said "he has a Job to do here but he told us what we need to do next."
Katara then asked "What's that?"
Aang just climbed onto Appa and grabbed Ton-Ton from Sokka, the baby sleeping soundly before he said "First things first. We need to take this guy home."
Dijin climbed onto Appa's saddle as well before saying "let's wait until nightfall, Azula will have everyone patrolling the city right now."
The group nodded in agreement before flying off to find someplace to hide until it got dark.
Once it got Dark Aang returned Ton-Ton to his family while Dijin said his goodbyes to Yalo and his men.
Once everyone was settled, they climbed onto Appa and flew away while Katara spoke up asking "So, what's the plan Aang?"
Aang just replied "Bumi said my Earth-bending teacher will be someone who waits and listens before attacking. Once we find that person we can go from there."
Sokka just sarcastically replied "Oh yeah, that should be super easy since there's only at least a few million people in the world!"
The group just ignored Sokka's negative attitude before Dijin said "I know about a free Earth Kingdom town a little ways from here. I remember reading somewhere about an Earth-bending master that supposedly trains elite benders."
Aang looked back at Dijin saying "What's the town called?"
Dijin just gave a simple answer saying "Gaoling." the others just nodded and Aang had Appa fly a little faster now that they had a destination in mind.
