Silence fell, the dust from Ancient One's attack on the Resistance Base begun to subside.
"Hole in one!" Edo yelled.
"Yeah, all those security devices clearly couldn't handle a full dragon's power." Leo replied.
Leo stood with his army behind him. They had lost a few to Ryo's troops but eventually Leo's army were able to card them all. It didn't matter to Leo, his Arc Area Project gained several more souls.
"Now it's cleared…. find whoever's in there… take them out."
"Yes, sir!" his army replied as they headed towards the many layers of rubble.
….
The blast had caved in the underground base while also blasting the walls which contained it onto the ground above, flattening all the tents.
"Is…. is anyone here?!" Rio yelled as she crawled through the rubble.
"Here…." Anna softly said as she moved towards Rio. Both girls reached a small area not covered with rocks and stood up.
"Haruto! Luna! Ruri! Anyone?!"
"We're here…." Shun appeared along with Yuto and Ruri.
"You guys!"
"Thankfully Yuya's warning got everyone under some cover…." Yuto weakly said.
"Where are they?" Ruri asked.
"We need to get out of here. Academia will attack any second, they must be somewhere else… this is a big base…. let's go." Anna replied.
….
"Yuzu!" Yuya yelled. "Where are you?!"
"I sense her…. she's over there!" Timegazer said as he appeared. Yuya followed his duel spirit's advice and moved the rubble, there was Yuzu trapped.
"Yuzu!"
"I'm okay…. it's just a heavy rock…." Yuzu had been trying to move it but couldn't. so Yuya helped and it lifted up.
"Are you injured?"
"No, thankfully…. are you?"
"I'm good….." Yuzu looked to the side to see the base destroyed. "This is my fault."
"Because you let Sin get to you? That doesn't make sense. I have a demon dragon within me!"
"Thanks for asking about me!"
The two saw Shingo crawl out of the rubble and Yuya helped him up.
"We didn't know! You okay?"
"I'm fine." Shingo replied. "But my clothes are dirty!"
"Never change, Shingo!" Yuya joked back despite the bad situation.
"The others must've been caved in elsewhere." Stargazer said. He joined his brother out with Yuya.
"Yeah…. we need to get out of here."

Academia soldiers found several Resistance members who were on the ground level trapped under rubble. Since they were in state to fight, Academia carded them.
"This is quite easy!" said one Obelisk Blue.
"But no fun!" replied another.
Edo heard fumbling coming from underneath one and lifted up the rubble. Edo smirked as he looked at the person.
"Just who we wanted! Sir, we found Faker!"
Across the other side Marina had saw jail bars. She moved the rocks and saw nothing… she had hoped Gloria was there but also she knew if she wasn't she must've gotten away along with Mina who had been held in the base's jail.
Edo dragged an injured Faker to Leo. He pushed him to the ground as Faker looked up.
"You…."
"Hello, … it's been a long trip but I'm glad to finally have met." Leo replied.
"Where's… my son?!"
"You mean the one we carded or the one we might've killed?!"
"Don't you dare! You can't have!"
Edo looked back to the soldiers and they shook their heads back.
"We haven't found any of underground Resistance or Lancers…. they must've gotten out somehow…."
"Tell me how." Leo ordered to Faker.
"Not a chance!"
"Must've been an underground tunnel." Marina replied as she walked over.
"Shark! Is this true?" Leo said to the Xyz member.
"Well I never was involved with the Resistance but I do know there are some open pipes nearby… they must've escaped from there."
"Then take a team with Ancient One. We'll take Faker back… he has a big role to play!"
"I'll contact Dennis to take charge elsewhere." Edo confirmed.
Drains
The Lancers and Resistance all reunited after coming out of the sewer system.
"I'm glad you're safe." Ray hugged Yuzu who didn't return the favour.
"At least you got out as well." Ruri smiled to Ray.
"It was a good escape plan." Ray replied.
"But now we've lost our base and…. Haruto…." Luna clenched his fist on her chest.
"And Mina and Gloria…. I guess the jail didn't hold up either." Shun affirmed.
"So… now what do we do?" Yuya asked.
"I…. I don't know." Rio stuttered.
Yuzu looked at Yuya and could sense Warrior keeping Odd-Eyes at bay for now along with the fact that Warrior was mad with Yuzu for falling in line with Sin.
"We need to find out what happened." Shun added. "Rio, you're not at fault for this."
"I… yeah but as leader… I should've seen this."
"How?" Anna replied. "You got the majority of us out with your excellent escape plan. You put the beds over the holes so we had cover as well."
"Okay…" Rio thought. "We need to find out what the hell is going on so we need to head to Heartland Tower and the coliseum. We need to… interrogate some Academia people."
"And we need to find Haruto." Luna added.
"Yes. Okay, here's how we will deal with this."
Heartland Tower
"Thank you, sir. I won't let you down." Dennis saluted to Leo. Leo was taking Faker back to Fusion with a group led by Edo.
"Don't let me down, Dennis. Also don't forget, take out the prisoners Ryo captured."
"Including your son?"
"Yes." Leo departed
"Okay…. I get to duel Reiji Akaba…. this is going to be awesome!" Dennis picked up his duel disk and opened a communication channel to all remaining Academia soldiers. "All available soldiers… to the coliseum!" The sounds of steps creeping up then caught his attention.
"Where… is… my… father?!"
Dennis turned around and saw Haruto injured but still standing.
Resistance Group #1
Rio, Shun, Ruri, Yuto, Anna and Luna were at Heartland Tower, the entrance was empty.
"I guess they don't want the tower anymore?" Shun questioned. "Let's go."
Tower
"And who the hell are you?" Dennis said.
"I saw you… take my father!"
"Oh? You're Faker's boy? No wonder you survived the blast… your brother was quite similar before he got turned into a card!"
"I was with him!" Haruto yelled. "He hid me under the rubble…."
"I guess he did a good job but… he's gone! Off to get his mind-scanned and his knowledge on the dimensions uploaded!"
"Then I'll go through you!" Haruto yelled as he activated his duel disk.
"It's been too long!" Dennis replied with a smile as he activated his. "I gladly accept!"
Resistance Group #2
Shingo, Yuya, Yuzu, Ray had headed to the coliseum however this was different to the tower; it was guarded by two guards as they waited for Dennis and the other soldiers to arrive.
"It's a case of waiting now…" Ray said. "We wait for the others to get some information… we're too outnumbered here."
"Wait…." Ray looked upwards and saw Gloria Tyler on top of the coliseum.
"How did she get up there?!" Yuya gasped.
Gloria leapt down and using both her elbows hit both guards in the necks, making the two collapse.
"I think that's our opportunity!" Rio said.
Tower
Yuto and the others had already found Haruto but they knew they couldn't stop him.
"Let me do this." Haruto said to Anna.
"I…. yeah! Kick that Academia scum out of our symbol!" Anna replied with fire.
"Ah yes, Heartland Tower, you can see it for miles… always giving hope no matter where you are… that's why we chose it!" Dennis mocked.
"And I'll be the one to reclaim it!" Haruto returned.
Resistance Group #2
The group followed quietly into the now empty coliseum. Gloria walked ahead and the others were slowly behind.
"I know you're following me." Gloria said as she turned around.
"I told you!" Shingo said to Rio.
"It doesn't matter." Ray replied. "Gloria, come with us quietly."
"Fine." Gloria replied. "But after I save my sister!"
"Sister?" Yuzu questioned. "But…"
"Grace is in this dimension! Along with Reiji Akaba, Reira, Gongenzaka and Masumi!"
"Stop lying!" Yuya replied.
"I'm not! When I escaped I overheard Academia soldiers!"
"And where's Mina?" Ray added.
"I don't know and I don't care. Now you can help me or get me in my way!" Grace turned around and walked away, looking for the door to the cells.
"Reiji and the others came over?" Yuya looked to Yuzu. "I know you're still not feeling great, Yuzu but…"
"I'm fine… I need to redeem myself… I can start here."
"No you don't!" Yuya replied.
"Tell that to Warrior…. and me."

"Yes Galaxy-Eyes… the data on your brother said this was his deck… I love how you've inherited it!"
"And I continue his fight! Come Brave!" A warrior in light and dark blue emerged holding a deadly sword.

"Overlay!" Both Monsters flew into the Xyz whirlpool which formed in the sky. "Appear rank four, Number 90: Galaxy-Eyes Photon Lord!" A human with grey skin appeared in blue armour. The light of photon energy flowed around him. It emerged in defence.

"Yes, your Lancer friends aren't the only one!" Water dance was a blue jester holding juggling pins while Overlay was a clown-robot with a one wheel for legs. It held up a frame which resembled overlay units.

"Wait… Overlay… you can't?"
"Yes I do! Unlike Ryo who threw away our school… I serve it with full dedication… even using Xyz Monster's when I was undercover with the Lancers! I Pendulum Summon Performage Ball Balancer and Trick Clown!" Ball Balancer was a fiend on top of a multicoloured ball while Trick Clown was a jester balancing on an even smaller ball with his tongue out.

"Fine! I summon Performage String Figure!" A colour clown in a blue jacket with sideways green hair was summoned.

"I use his effect! I use him to Fusion Summon with String Figure!"
"He's now going to Fusion Summon with his Xyz?" Yuto questioned.
"But that just wastes resources?" Anna added.
"He's the Professor's number two… he knows what he's doing." Luna replied.
"Indeed I do… well I hope so anyway!"
"Well I'm a step ahead! Photon has one more effect! By detaching Galaxy Brave, I can negate and destroy that card!" String Figure was wiped out by a blast from Photon Lord.
Photon Lord OU: 2
"I see…. not bad. That is one hard Monster to get around! You're really fighting to get your father back… but I'm also fighting for a utopia! I play Performage Ring! I destroy my two Pendulum Monsters in my scales and I set them on your side!"
"Mine?!" Haruto replied as the two appeared next to him.
Water 2 - 6 Overlay
"Don't be rude… I gave you a nice gift! But it comes with a price!" Dennis gained a fierce smirk on his face. "Any non-Pendulum Monsters you control are returned to the hand… or in the case of Photon Lord…. to the extra deck!"
"He learnt what the Monster did before countering… I walked right into that one…" Haruto thought with a clenched face.
"Now Performage Trapeze Magician, direct attack!"
"I play the Trap Destiny Break! I draw a card when attacked directly and if it's a Monster I negate the attack!" Haruto drew. "It's my second Galaxy-Eyes!"
"What an annoying dragon…." Dennis replied as his Trapeze Magician was blocked by a force field.
"Then I summon it during the end of the Battle Phase with its effects negated, arise my mighty dragon!"

"I tribute my two 2000 attack Monsters to summon my second Galaxy-Eyes!" Both lights shot into the sky as they formed a beacon. The second Galaxy-Eyes roared from the sky before emerging next to its counterpart.

The two dragons became pure energy as they shot high into the cosmos. The blue merged and fired back down blinding the whole field. The light took the shape of a much bulkier dragon made purely of the energy. As it roared it gains blue plating around its body.

"I might've seen what deck he used but… not the exact cards… this is an amazing delight!" Dennis responded at the sight with an unusual sign of joy despite being putting in this position.
"I attack!" Haruto roared as Galaxy-Eyes unleashed a powerful radiant blast. "And now I use an overlay unit!"

"It's great you used a Xyz Monster because now Prime gains attack equal to all our Xyz Monster's ranks x 200!"

Prime's blast easily sliced through Trapeze and sent Dennis flying across the tower floor.

"100 lifepoints…. well if I'm going to turn this show around… why not let it be on my knees…." Dennis said as he got back up "When Trapeze is destroyed I can summon a Performage from my deck… appear Performage Draw Magician!" A magician in a black cape and mask appeared. He had the symbol of a card on his cape.

"When he's Special Summoned I can draw one card and inflict you with 500 damage!" Draw raised his staff and fired black cards at Haruto which made him flinch.

"That was nothing! You've got this Haruto!" Anna yelled from the sidelines.
"I set one card and end my turn!"
"Hartuo! This guy is Academia's number two… he will have a comeback!" Yuto warned.
"I know… but I must win…"
"I'm not telling you anything!" Dennis smirked. "Your base is gone as well so you can't hold me prisoner…. you gain nothing!"
"Except I take another thug off our streets!"
"Thug? I'll have you know I worked hard to where I am!"
"Don't care! Make your final move!"

"None of you have any regard for my show... guess I'm rusty… draw! I use the Spell Magical Pendulum Box! I draw two cards and if they're Pendulums then I add them to my hand and not, they both get sent to the graveyard!" Dennis drew and smiled, both were Pendulums.
"He gave me his Pendulums…. he can now set new ones…." Haruto said to himself.
"I use Performage Cup Tricker's effect from my hand! I can target a Xyz Monster on the field and remove an overlay unit from it to summon it!"
"Remove Prime Photon Dragon's last overlay unit?!" Haruto repeated as the circling orb faded.

"Now appear Cup Tricker!" A small insect appeared with green cups on its back.

"But Dennis still only has 100… I know people make comebacks but Haruto has this!" Luna affirmed.
"I play Performage Xyz-Fusion! This allows me to Fusion Summon with a Performage on my field and a Performage… in your scales!"
"Mine?!"
"I fuse Cup Tricker and Water Dancer!" Dennis made the Fusion pose and both entered. "Swing on, Performage Trapeze Witch!" A female jester emerged in a purple outfit with yellow stars around it.

"It's a very big deal as I set Performage Balloon Crafter in my scales!" A clown hold thin balloons appeared.

"He can Fusion Summon Monsters on my field!"
"He's fusing a Xyz and Fusion?!" Luna yelled. Balloon Crafter used his quick hand skills to tie the balloons into a circle and he threw it up to the sky. Both Performage entered it.
"This is the true final performance! Appear Performage Trapeze Warlock!"
Performage Trapeze Warlock ATK: 3000 DEF: 2000 Dark/Spellcaster/Fusion/LVL 10
"Normally this would require three Performage but it can be done with a Fusion and a Xyz instead! This card can attack twice this turn and by sending a Pendulum Card from my scale it gains 1000 attack! I remove Balloon Crafter!"
Warlock ATK: 4000
"Attack Prime Photon!" Dennis ordered.
"Haruto, do something!"Ruri cried out.
"I use the Trap Tachyon Galaxy Spiral! I target a Galaxy Dragon Monster when it's attacked meaning it can't be destroyed in battle and it's unaffected by card effects this turn!"
"Exactly what he needed!" Yuto cheered.
"It might be but Warlock stops it I'm afraid!" Dennis smirked. "No Spells or Traps can be used while it's on the field!"
"What?! No!"
"End this, Warlock!" Dennis ordered as he drove his spear into Prime Photon causing it to scream in pain before exploding.
Haruto LP: 3500 - 2500
"No!" Anna shouted as she stepped in front of the boy. Ruri and the others joined to stop the attack.
"How cute, the Resistance banding together…. Then I'll bury you all under the rubble! Warlock!"
"Let's run!" Ruri yelled but Warlock had created a force field to block them.
"You're all cowards!" Dennis yelled as he leapt onto Warlock and flew above Heartland Tower. "Direct attack!" Warlock's hand glowed and fired rapid blasts from it at the Resistance, the group all held onto one another as the hits rained down.

Warlock dropped of Dennis on a nearby house as he watched with the delight at the smoke coming out of the tower.
Resistance Group #2
"How long have we got?" Ray asked Gloria.
"Until they find out about the knocked out guards…" Gloria replied. They were now in a hallway just underneath the coliseum. They heard people talking and Gloria rushed to the cell.
Gloria saw inside the cell and her face lit up.
"No way…." Grace said. "It can't be?"
"It's me, Grace!" Gloria quickly opened the door and hugged her sister. The others caught up and saw Reiji sitting on a bench with his legs crossed.
"Reiji…." Yuya stuttered.
"It's been a while, Yuya." Reiji said as he stood up. "And you, Yuzu."
"Reiji… where are the others?"
"Don't worry; they're further down the hall. Let's free them." Reiji replied as he side-stepped the hugging sisters.
"Okay, Gloria… I think I might choke!" Grace replied.
"Oh yeah, sorry…." Gloria took the keys and looked at them.
"Gloria, give it to them." Grace prompted.
"They locked me up."
"Gloria, we didn't know what you wanted." Yuzu replied.
"You kept me in that cell… why should I free your friends? Grace, let's go!"
"No, Gloria!" Grace grabbed Gloria's hand and knocked the keys from them with her other before throwing them to Reiji.
"These Lancers have really grown on you…."
"I saw what Academia did! And fact you're here… it means you're the same." Grace replied.
"I just want you!"
"And where would we go? We need them…. we're on their side now!"
Further up the hall Yuzu, Yuya and Reiji had let out Masumi, Gongenzaka and Reira. Reiji was hugging Reira while Yuzu and Yuya reunited with Masumi and Gongenzaka.
"It's been too long!" Gongenzaka yelled with happiness as he hugged both Yuzu, Shingo and Yuya, bursting out in tears.
"Okay, Gongenzaka… come on… we're kinda dying here…." Yuya said while being squeezed.
"Let go!" Shino yelled out.
"My bad!" Gongenzaka let them both go. He said Yuzu not sharing the same feeling. "What happened, Yuzu?"
"We've all been separated for too long." Reiji interrupted.
"Yes, we need to get out of here." Gloria added.
"Where are the others?" Reiji asked Yuzu.
"Heartland Tower but let's go elsewhere first, we need to explain everything." Yuzu replied.

Far away from the coliseum the group now gathered and had all caught up. They had all learnt the different things they missed.
Yuzu had explained about what happened while in Xyz, the destroyed base, the alliance with the Resistance and Rio's plan.
Reiji had explained to Yuzu and the others about Rin and her rebuilding efforts. Since Xyz also had a communication block, they had not been able to gain such information. They also learnt about Sora and his carding.
"Sora…." Yuya gripped his fists.
"Anyway at least Ryo has been carded…" Grace tried to change the subject.
"The guy who I interrogated seemed sure of it at least…." Gloria replied.
"Don't start conspiracy theories."
"So this leader of the Resistance… Rio…. her brother is also controlled along with Yuzar…." Reiji scratched his head.
"Yeah… sadly." Ray added. "Rio went to Heartland Tower as they wish to reclaim it as their new base… we should go there now."
"Dennis ordered all the soldiers to head to the coliseum, it should be empty now." Gloria said.
"We got out at the right time then." Masumi responded.
"I've been stuck in this dimension long enough!" Shingo yelled as he stood up. "So let's go!"
"I've missed that!" Gongenzaka said as he stood up. "But…."
"None of you two have told us about… the other things…" Reiji continued.
"They know." Yuzu answered. "I also did something…. pretty bad."
"No she didn't." Yuya defended her as he stood up however that didn't last long as a rush went through his body.
"Yuya?" Yuzu sensed it.
"No…. I feel… Ancient One…." Yuya struggled to say.
"What?!" Ray snapped.
"Warrior, get Yuya out of here!" Yuzu yelled to her spirit which now resided in Yuya's deck. She emerged.
"I'm suppressing Odd-Eyes… he gained Sin's power and now the seal is wearing thin… and without Ciel… us spirits are doing our best!" Warrior snapped at Yuzu.
"I never said you weren't!"
"I can't trust your judgement, Yuzu…. you…."
"I said I was sorry!"
"Enough!" Reiji yelled. "I can't see this spirit but you two will need to sort it out later! Get Yuya out of here. I'll fend him off!"
"Don't be foolish!" Grace replied. "I will!"
"My god! Everyone wants to be the hero!" Shingo shouted. "Listen! Everyone of you go!"
"Shingo?" Masumi questioned.
"You lot have been locked up in jail… you're in no state yet! Grace has been looking for Gloria for ages so that rules you two out… Ray loves Yuzar and Yuzu and Yuya are a ticking time bomb, so that leaves me!" Shingo stated calmly but smirking. "Plus I need to get revenge on Yuzar for beating me back in Standard!"
"And you're doing this for your own ego reasons!" Gongenzaka hit back.
"Wanting to beat someone I lost to isn't down to my ego! I saw what happened in Synchro, Ritual and now here in Xyz… I saw what happened during the time before any of you guys arrived... the hunger… the terror of kids crying and now… most of them are gone. I owe it to them."
"Shingo, you're important to us!" Ray replied.
"Then let me do this." Shingo answered back before raising his thumb. Yuzu nodded and took Yuya as they left.
"This is insane…." Gongenzaka looked to Reiji.
"Shingo… can you free him?!"
"I don't know but… I'll try."
"You all go!" Reiji ordered. The rest of the group stuttered but agreed. Reira went with Grace as even she remembered Gongenzaka's message about being strong.
"I understand … I know your heart is in the right place… and we should respect that."
"Hey! I'm not a card yet, CEO!" Shingo cheekily said. "I guess we've both changed a fair bit!"
"For the better… now make sure you return to us at Heartland Tower!" Reiji left Shingo to it as he went with the others.
"That was so touching."
Shingo could hear Ancient One inside his head, he then saw him approach from the distance.
"So you can mind talk now… that's pretty cool."
"My power strengths hour by hour, day by day!" Ancient One said. He stood there in Yuzar's blue jacket with the collar around his neck.
"That collar…. I guess that's what keeps you under control?"
"Academia has killed Yuzar… well…. removed… I'm free to live as my true self!"
"But having to do something an Akaba wants? Trust me…. I know what that's like and unlike his son… I doubt Leo has changed for the better."
"He's much more well now… so you're wrong!" Ancient responded. "You're just here to stall time… but I accept the duel…. your final one!"
"I guess it will be but… there's no fun in not trying!" Shingo activated his green duel disk. Ancient held out his arm and a blue duel disk with white spikes emerged from thin-air.

"Duel!" both yelled out.

"I'll start by playing the Continuous Spell Ancient Contract! When I Ritual Summon I return a Monster to my hand from my graveyard, now I summon Ancient Berserker!" A green lizard which stood up on its two legs emerged. It wore old scratched armour.
Ancient Berserker ATK: 1600 DEF: 800 Dark/Fiend/LVL 4
"If my graveyard is empty I can add a Ritual Monster from my deck! I add Paladin of Ancient Dragon! And now I play Ancient One Ritual! I tribute Berserker!"
A blue circle surrounded Ancient One as his eyes lit up in blue light.
"Serve me, Paladin of Ancient Dragon!" A sliver knight riding a scaly dragon with sharp purple edges on its legs appeared.

"I use Ancient Contract to return Berserker to my hand! And now I use Paladin's effect! I tribute it to summon an Ancient One Monster from my deck and it's unaffected by Spells or Traps until the End Phase! Be gone Paladin!"
"Is this your true self?!" Shingo replied.
"Not yet! I Ritual Summon Ancient Guard!" Paladin flew high into the sky and became blue energy which shot down onto the field. The energy formed a slim sliver knight knelt in defence with a blue shield.

"I end my turn!"
"You didn't summon Ancient One because it needs to be Ritual Summoned to be used for its full effect.. That's a shame.. I wanted to take it on right away!"
"You might think of this as all a game but it's not!"
"Yeesh, the other you was much more fun!"
"He's dead. Now make your move!"

"Then I'll wake up the other you! Draw!" Shingo made his way up the platforms and grabbed an Action Card. "Now I set my Pendulum Scale! I use scale zero Abyss Actor - Mellow Madonna and scale nine Abyss Actor - Twinkle Littlestar!"
Above Shingo Madonna appeared as a purple skinned female in a black dress with long pink hair while Twinkle was a small female wearing a pink thrill dress while sitting on a pink star.
Madonna 0 – 9 Twinkle
"Let's go! I Pendulum Summon Abyss Actor – Superstar!"A male with purple hair and a black outfit appeared. He had one eye covered with a patch.
Abyss Actor – Superstar ATK: 2500 DEF: 1800 Dark/Fiend/Pendulum/LVL 7
"Now I can set an Abyss Script from my deck! I select Abyss Script – Intermission!Now I use the Action Card Pierce! This allows Superstar to inflict… well… Piercing Damage! Go Superstar!" Superstar bowed and launched forward towards Guard with a firm fist.
"Guard's effect! When it's attacked the attack is negated and I add Ancient One Ritual Dragon to my hand and a Ritual Spell from my graveyard!"
"Fine then I use Twinkle's Pendulum effect! I can attack once more with Superstar!" Superstar continued the attack and easily destroyed Guard.

"Now I use Intermission! I gain 1000 lifepoints for each Monster I destroyed during the Battle Phase!"
Shingo LP: 4000 – 5000
"I set one card and end my turn!"

"My turn!" Ancient One yelled as he drew. Shingo at the point had reached another Action Card and landed back on the floor.
"Sorry… you were saying?!"
"You dare show me disrespect?!"
"I see…. your ego is just like Yuzar's!" Shingo taunted with glee.
"No! He's just like me! I was first!"
"And a complex… does Yuzar scare you?!"
"I'm not an average human! Being stuck inside that boy was hell and I won't accept some human to talk down to me! I use Ancient One Ritual and use Ancient Magician and Berserker from my hand!"
"And here it comes…." Shingo thought as he looked down to his duel disk.
"I summon myself, the mightiest of the dragon brothers!" A portal opened and from the sky thunder occurred. The dark blue dragon with blue orbs on its legs emerged roaring upon its summon as Ancient One's eyes lit up again.

"When Magician is used to Ritual Summon, I draw a card and then Ancient Contract lets me return Magician to my hand Now I use my effect! I destroy all level five or higher Monsters on the field with an original level of five or higher! Wipe that silly Monster away!"
Ancient One's Monster form unleashed another large growl with the blue orbs lit up around its body. Superstar yelled as he was sent high into the sky.
"Of course it returns to my extra deck instead." Shingo responded.
"I know that and I'm wiping away those annoying things! The Spell Ritual Hurricane destroys all Spells and Traps on the field while I control a Ritual Monster!"
The Spell unleashed a large wind which took out Shingo's three cards including his scales. He smirked.
"Well done!"
"I just took out your scales! Why would you be happy about that?!"
"Because my set card was the Spell Abyss Script - Abysstainment! When it's set and destroyed while I have a face up Pendulum Monster in my extra deck…. I can summon any number of Abyss Actors from my deck!"
"You can't!"
"Not bad for a human! Appear Abyss Actors Sassy Rookie, Twinkle Littlestar, Comic Relief, Wild Hope and Leading Lady!"
"Five Monsters from the deck?!" Each of the Abyss Actor's emerged in defence.

"And none of them are level five or above so your Monster's attack won't rise!" Shingo gloated.
"It won't matter! I use the Equip Spell Ancient Chains!" The Spell unleashed golden chains around his Monster form. "Now I attack Wild Hope!"
Ancient One's gems glowed as a light blue beam charged up in its mouth. The blast fired towards the Abyss Actor.
"Chains banishes it!"
"Say what?!" Shingo replied as the golden chains from Ancient One shot out and tided up Wild Hope before destroying it.
"I use its second effect! I pay 1000 lifepoints to attack again!"
Ancient One LP: 3700 – 2700
"I attack Comic Relief!" The same move happened again and Sassy Rookie was wiped out.
"I use Abyss Actor Helping Hand! I gain lifepoints equal to your Monster's attack!"
Shingo LP: 5000 – 7500
"See how weak you are! All Monster's in defence while boosting your life up… it's a mockery! I set one card and end my turn! And since I use Ancient Chain's second effect, it's destroyed."

"I draw! I use Abyss Script – Stage Rotate! I send an Abyss Actor in my Pendulum Zone to my extra deck but then set one in my extra deck in the same scale! I return Twinkle and set Comic Relief!"A pink clown arose in the scale.
Madonna 0 – 8 Comic
"I use its effect! I switch control of my Monster with yours and Comic is now destroyed!"
"You can't?!"
"I can and will! I give you Leading Lady while Ancient One… is mine!"
"I won't serve you! Not ever!" Ancient One yelled as Leading Lady and Ancient One teleported to each other's fields. Ancient One's eyes shook with fear as did the collar around his neck.
"Yes! You work for me now!"
"No… I won't…. I won't let anyone…. win!"
"That's what's happening with your and that collar isn't it?!" Shingo yelled.
"I won't…. I can't…. I won't let Ancient One…. or Academia….."
"Yuzar?!"
"Shingo….. end this!" Yuzar yelled as the collar continued to shock him.
"He's battling Ancient One's free will and a controlled Ancient One…" Shingo thought. "Now g-" As Shingo was about to command he yelled in pain. "What is this?!"
Shingo fell to his knees as it seemed Ancient One's Monster form was also resisting.
"No! I won't let you win! I use the Action Spell Divert! I send a Monster on my field back to the graveyard to take control of one Monster on yours!" The card dissolved on Shingo's field and entered Yuzar's duel disk while Leading Lady returned.
Yuzar dropped to his knees as his eyes went blank, the collar dropped off from the stress.
"I removed Ancient One from the field…. Yuzar, are you there?!" Shingo yelled.
There was no answer.
"Then I'm ending this by switching all Monsters to attack! Go Sassy Rookie!" Sassy Rookie launched a punch at the ground where Yuzar was and it sent him flying backwards.
Yuzar LP: 2700 – 1000
"Leading Lady! End this and save him!"
"Gotcha!"
"Yuzar?"
"I use Ritual Defence! This Trap allows me to banish a Ritual Monster and end the Battle Phase while adding a Ritual Spell to my hand!"
"Ancient One?!" Shingo yelled as a force field blocked Leading Lady.
"I return Ancient One Ritual." the figure stood up and walked back. "Thank you, Shingo. You freed me from that awful control…. it was much appreciated!"
"But you were Yuzar?!"
"There's one thing that collar did… it was to focus myself as the true one in control… Yuzar might still be here inside of me but… not for much longer once I beat Odd-Eyes, gain the power to merge from him and be the main dragon in control!"
"No! Yuzar?!"
"It's pointless!"
"I won't give up. I set two cards!"
Turn 5
Ancient One LP: 1000 Hand: 5
Shingo LP: 7500 Hand: 3
"DRAW! I play Ritual Spikes! For each Ritual Monster in my graveyard I destroy a Spell or Trap and you can't activate them! I have myself, Paladin and Ancient Guard!" Sharp spikes fired at the two set cards and his last Pendulum Scale, they exploded right before Shingo.
"Then I'll take an Action Card!" Shingo replied as he found one on the platform and took it.
"I use Ultimate Ancient Offering! If I'm in the graveyard than I can summon myself from the graveyard!"
"Great…" Shingo thought as the Ritual Dragon returned.

"Then I can use myself to summon my evolved from my hand or deck... I have it right here in my hand! I also ignore the levels required!"
"Evolved?!"
"Reap hell, Ancient King Ritual Dragon!"
From the sky white thunder shot down. The roar sounded much different this time. It sounded much more blood-thirsty. The lighting faded and a white dragon with golden amour around its body appeared. It had blue wings with black stripes.

"All Special Summoned Monsters except me will be destroyed and I gain 800 attack for each!"
"No!" Sassy Rookie, Twinkle and Leading Lady were all destroyed as King launched three rapid blasts, wiping them out.
Ancient King ATK: 5400
"Overkill Drive!" King fired rapid purple blasts from his mouth. Each one hit Shingo and cut through his clothes. He fell to the floor while they smoked.
Shingo LP: 7500 – 2100
"I'm…. still… in… this!"
"Not with my Quick Play Spell. De-Ritual. I summon the materials used to summon King by returning him to my deck. Return my true self!"

"Yuzar…. please!"
"Attack." Ancient One said in a monotone voice. Shingo closed his eyes as the blast ended the duel.
Shingo LP: 2100 – 0 Ancient One Wins
Shingo lay on the ground, still alive but barely. Ancient One looked at his duel disk.
"Last thing I need is more Resistance… even if it powers Academia." Ancient One hit his duel disk over Shingo, turning him into a card.
Ancient One looked over the wasteland and breathed in.
"Odd-Eyes… we shall end this today."
