"But we can't go back! Yuya would fight Yuto!" Shun yelled.
Yuzu's group had now rejoined with Shun's group who had ended the dimension blockage on Xyz. Yuya was still unconscious following his duel with Yuzar.
"I know…. I know." Yuzu replied. Her mind was going through all kinds of ideas but she just couldn't find one and that made her annoyed.
"How do we know that Yuya will still absorb Yuto…. what if Yuto won?" Rio asked.
"Then Yuto gets the original Pendulum power that Odd-Eyes took in the original world. He then takes Yuya… it's lose-lose." Ray answered. "Even if we put Yuya back in Standard… with Odd-Eyes now with Yuzar and Sin's power…. he would just step back through. Yuya is literally a time bomb and Warrior and his other spirits are suppressing Odd-Eyes as much as they can."
"There is one person…." Yuzu said. "She knows all about the dragons and angels…."
"You really want help from that psychopath?!" Shun hit back.
"Mina is our last chance! She might have something to help!"
"That's asking for trouble!" Ray replied.
"Of course but what other situation have we got? Academia are still here!"
"Well…. I mean….." Ray looked awkwardly.
"Don't even say it!" Yuzu warned.
"It's an idea…."
"What?" Rio interrupted.
"She's thinking of giving one of Yuya or Yuto to Academia."
"I never said I was considering it!"
"I'm sorry, Ray I didn't mean to…. Sin getting to me… Yuya…. no wonder Warrior distrusts me now, I haven't even sensed my other spirits lately either." Yuzu looked at her deck.
"Warrior is in the wrong as well!" Ray replied. "She should be able to understand you did what you did! My guess is the spirits are unsure what to think… they're letting you two sort it out."
"Regardless of how it is…. she needs to stay with Yuya for now…. and yes you're right, we can't trust Mina…. that's how I got into the mess with Sin. "
"We know you're just thinking about saving your friend." Rio added.
"That's a shame; I could've been of some help!"
They all turned around and saw the blonde haired Mina throw off her cloak behind them, wearing a purple coat.
"Of course you heard us…." Yuzu replied.
"I've been keeping a low profile since I escaped… I turned Dennis into a card by the way, thanks, Shun!"
"What?! I left him to be found!"
"And I did! I never cared for anything to do with Academia…. but you know that by now!"
"Who exactly is this?" Gongenzaka asked.
"Long story short, she's ex-Academia, she wants to use the angel and dragon energy to bring back her dead mother… and she wants to experiment on them as well." Yuzu replied.
"Well she's not having Yuya!"
"Or Yuzar!" Ray added.
"Yuzar…. yes, merged into Yuya… how even more intriguing!"
"And you won't have him! Let's go!" Yuzu yelled as the group prepared to run.
"You won't!" Mina held up a card which released multicoloured energy, the energy made Gongenzaka, Rio, Anna, Haruto, Shun, Yuzu and Ray all disappear and made them reappear on a rooftop as a cage formed around Yuya and Mina.
"Now what?!" Yuzu yelled.
"How did you get that?! It was buried!" Ray shouted
"Academia still have a patrol out here… one of them dug it up. I've been lurking in the shadows since I escaped and heard them brag about it. The idiots couldn't work out how to use and instead caused a blast which trapped them under some rubble…. then I took it!"
"You left them?!"
"Well they are hunting me as well… they're not dead, don't worry!"
"Then I'll duel our way out!" Yuzu replied.
"I don't want any of you! Now awaken Odd-Eyes and Ancient One! Give them a little shock Invoked Construct!"
"No!" Yuzu could only look on as Yuya was zapped over and over.
"Stop….. stop it!" Yuya yelled. The strikes stopped and Yuzu and the others could see Yuya slowly getting up.
"Yuya or Odd-Eyes?!" Mina smirked
"Yuya…. and Yuzar!" Yuya yelled.
"Yuya!" Yuzu said with joy that he was awake.
"Is… Yuzar with you?" Ray replied.
"I…. can't hear him but I feel him…."
"Which means he could still be alive..."
"I'm sorry for what Odd-Eyes did. I couldn't control it."
"No, it's not your fault." she answered.
"But, Mina… I'm putting a stop to you here!"
"How interesting, I thought you were in a coma? But I guess not. Maybe the body needs time to rest and my little alarm shock woke you up!"
"I won't let you mess around anymore…. Odd-Eyes and Ancient One are now together... don't you know how dangerous all of this is?!"
"Yeah! That's the point! Now I'll duel you and with this energy card back in my hands I can absorb everything you put out! And the knowledge I'll gain… this is going to be amazing!"
"Yeah well I can't allow for that to happen. I understand I can't make everyone smile in this war or put on a show all the time…. but I know deep down… there's a shed of good about you! And I'll make you see!" Yuya affirmed.
"And how will that happen via a duel? Enough talk!"
"Guys…." Yuzu looked to Shun and the Resistance.
"Don't need to tell us, we'll go to Yuto." Shun confirmed.
"Be safe." Ray added as the group departed.

"I'll start off by using Foolish Burial to send Shaddoll Beast from my deck to the graveyard! And his effect activates! When sent to the graveyard via a card effect I draw a card!"
"Just like that she gains an advantage already…." Yuya thought.
"I set a Monster facedown and I set two cards. I end there!"

"I draw!" Yuya declared. "I set Star and Timegazer Magician in my Pendulum Scale!" Both Magicians flew up in the scales behind Yuya.

"Not bad… but I use a Trap! Shaddoll Core! It's treated as an Effect Monster! Appear in defence!" A purple jar appeared on the field.

A purple dragon flew into the portal along with Core."
"Appear before me, El Shaddoll Winda!" A green haired female in a purple outfit appeared on top of a dragon. It seemed to be its tamer.

"And since Dragon was sent to the graveyard via a card effect, I can destroy a Spell or Trap on the field and I'm remove Timegazer!"
"What?!" Yuya looked to his scale and a dark blast fired away.
"Be strong, Yuya!" his spirit said as it vanished.
"Damnit…." Yuya clenched his fist.
"You had one of your guardian angels just removed…. how does it feel?!"
"I'm still fine!"
"Are you sure?!"
"Mina! You'll get hurt!"
"Maybe but at least I'll go down trying…. let's rattle that cage even more! Winda can't be destroyed via card effects and each player can only Special Summon once per turn while she's on the field. I attack!"
"But Majestic is twice as strong!"
"I know that so I'll use this! I play a Quick Play Spell from my hand! Battle Fusion! Winda gains attack equal to the Monster it's battling against until the end of the Damage Step!"

"7900?!" Rio shouted.
"Yeah but Yuya has an open Pendulum Zone so this can still work for him." Yuzu replied.
Winda and her dragon flew high into the sky and it unleashed a purple fiery blast taking out Warrior.

"No!" Yuya yelled.

"Yuya, do it now!" Warrior said to him.
"Oh yeah! Warrior's Synchro form is allowed to go to my Pendulum Zone once destroyed!" Majestic arose along with Star.
Star 1 - 8 Majestic
"You're desperate to cling onto a Monster which doesn't belong to you… wasn't it that the dragon's deck contained servants of them?"
"Yes… the Magicians… but they side with me now… trying to save Odd-Eyes!"
"And I need him to appear…. so I'm going to make you summon him!"
"Mina, don't!"
"You keep running from Odd-Eyes… doesn't it get boring?! I use the Trap Decisive Power of Absolute Destiny! I declare a Monster's name in your deck and you have to summon it!"
"No!"
"No more running, Yuya! I declare Odd-Eyes Pendulum Dragon!" Yuya looked at his deck and it glowed red.
"Yuya!" Warrior and Star both said from the scales but it was too late as forming onto the field was Odd-Eyes who unleashed a loud screech. Around the ground begun to shake as if Odd-Eyes' rage was affecting the environment.

"There you are!"
"No! I will keep it together!" Yuya held his head.
"Let's see how long you can! I set one card and end my turn!"
"This keeps on happening." Yuzu hit her hand onto the cage. "This isn't fair on Yuya!"

"I…. draw!" Yuya said as he battled Odd-Eyes. His morale increased when he saw his new card. "I Pendulum Summon back Warrior!"

"I tribute Warrior and Odd-Eyes!"
"Tribute?!" Mina yelled as both flew into the air and a bright beam shot down.
"I Tribute Summon level ten Queen Knight the Aggressive Warrior!" This form of Warrior had bulkier red armour while longer blonde hair. Her sword was longer.

"Nice! Tributing removes Odd-Eyes and it counts as a Normal Summon not a Special so Winda's effect can't stop it!" Yuzu cheered.
"She gains 900 attack for each Monster on the field!"

"If I used Warrior to Tribute Summon her new form I can select a Monster in my extra deck and this card gains that cards attack!"
"I choose Warrior's 2500 attack!"

"She also cannot be affected by Spells or Traps nor can you use any effects during the Battle Phase!"
"What an insane Monster!" Mina replied. "I can tell Warrior and your other spirits made them so you didn't need to rely on Odd-Eyes! Too amazing!"
"End this, Aggressive Warrior!" Yuya yelled.
"Before you do I use my Trap!
"But I just said!"
"On my Monster you fool! Sinister Shadow Dance! I send a Shaddoll from my deck to then set Winda facedown! I send Shaddoll Beast!" Mina took the card from her duel disk and placed it into her graveyard slot. "Now I can draw one card since it went to the grave via its own effect! And now Winda goes into facedown position!"
Aggressive slammed her sword into Winda's facedown card, easily destroying her.
"I end my turn…. I still couldn't do damage to her!" Yuya looked frustrated.
"Yuya! Don't let that anger sink in." Warrior affirmed to him.
"I know but…. if I had Odd-Eyes out…"
"He's a strong Monster Card but you know it's too dangerous!"
"I fought against him before…. maybe just maybe….we need him!"
"Odd-Eyes just merged with Ancient One while absorbing Sin's power! Next time he takes over… could be the last!"
"Listen to Warrior, Yuya!" Yuzu said from behind.
"Maybe that's why you're still here and not Odd-Eyes!" Mina interrupted.
"What do you mean?!" Yuya replied.
"Maybe I woke you up from your coma… maybe Odd-Eyes and Ancient were and still merging. I'm guessing it won't be long before he's fully converted!"
"Don't listen!"
"It's coming, Yuya!" Mina continued to say. Yuya held his head and all the words from Mina, Warrior and Yuzu were spinning in his mind. Mina knew this was her chance.
Turn 5

"Draw!" Mina declared. "I need that energy… I need Odd-Eyes to take over! But this card will break him!" she thought. "I play Lullaby of Order!"
"Lullaby of Order?!"
"I pay 2000 lifepoints to use its effect!"

"I declare a name of a Monster in your extra deck and if it's there… I destroy all Monsters you control and summon it to your field! You know who I want!"
"No!"
"I destroy Aggressive Warrior and summon Odd-Eyes back to your field!"
"Mina! Please don't!"
"No more words!" Mina smirked as Aggressive screamed as she dissolved. Reappearing via a dark portal from the sky was Odd-Eyes and Yuya collapsed to his knees.

Appearing beside Odd-Eyes as it roared was a yellow portal. Flying out was Warrior.
"How?!" Mina roared.

"When Aggressive is destroyed…. my true form returns!" Warrior replied as she returned.
"You won't go away will you!"
"I had a feeling about you… way back in Synchro…. when I first appeared, you entered my card with the others… you saw what I dealt with in the original world! This is the end for you, Mina!"
"Yeah and that was an amazing sight! But you can't do anything now!"
"My power is stronger than anything you have!"
"Perhaps… but maybe focus more on Yuya!"
Warrior looked behind and Yuya was engulfed in darkness.
"Yuya… fight it!" Yuzu begged.
"ENOUGH!" Yuya stood up. "I… have had enough of you all! The suffering!"
"And the mergence is done!" Mina looked at the card in her pocket and the energy flowed into it in abundance. "I end my turn with a set card!"
"You end your turn?!"
"Yeah… this will win me the duel!"
"It will?! Let's see!"
"Yu-"
"SILENCE!" Yuya yelled to Warrior.
"No! Just no!" Yuzu fell to her knees as Ray helped her up.
Turn 6

Yuya LP: 1800 Hand: 1
"Draw!"
"So I guess I'm talking to Yuya still just influenced by Odd-Eyes… still…. this is everything I want!"
"You know what's funny, Mina? You ended your own life right here right now and I'm using Warrior for that! I play Supreme Ritual! This is another card you made for me, Warrior… so let's use it!"
"I beg you, Yuya!" Yuzu and Warrior said at the same time.
"No… not Yuya…. you're talking to two people…. Odd-Eyes and Ancient! This Ritual Spell lets me Ritual Summon the Monster from my deck if I tribute Warrior!"
A card popped out of his deck and he played it as a blue circle emerged around the duelist.
"Be gone Warrior along with my Monster form!" Warrior was dissolved along with Odd-Eyes and flew into the circle. "I Ritual Summon, Queen Knight: The Supreme Warrior!"
Her armour was upgraded and blue. Her hair was blue and her eyes were darkish blue. She had two swords on the back of her body.

"Now…. I equip her with Odd Eyes Sword!" Warrior gained a red handled sword with the blade being green. "Her attack doubles!"

"Mina… you'll get killed!" Yuzu shouted.
"I don't need your care! You see, Odd-Eyes… my set card won't help me!"
"Why set it then?!"
"Because I like to trick people!"
"You dare mock me?!" Yuya's eyes burnt even brighter. Supreme Warrior, kill her!"
"Warrior! Don't!"
"I…. I can't…. this is my Monster Card form…. I have to….!" Warrior struggled with her sword as she raised it up and the sword unleashed a fiery dragon blaze which engulfed Mina.
Mina LP: 2000 – 0 Odd-Eyes Wins
"NO!"
The cage faded and Yuzu ran in towards Yuya but he fired a dark beam at the ground stopping her and Ray.
"Take this back… all of it!" Odd-Eyes said as he took Warrior and her various cards from the deck and threw them at the ground.
"Odd-Eyes…."
"The seal has finally ended, Yuzu. No Ciel either… pun intended!"
The two heard laughter from behind and saw Mina stand up.
"How did you survive that?!"
"This card has all the energy I needed… I wished to be saved and it created a barrier… your own power saved me! I got exactly what I wanted and with a bonus rage at the end!"
"You… double tricked me?!"
"Yeah…. how does it feel?!"
"….Bring back your mother then…. once I gain my other brothers, it will mean nothing! I burn you all to ashes! Now I sense Dark Rebellion near but something even closer…."
Odd-Eyes looked to his left and approaching the field was Yuri with the remaining Academia duelists behind him.
"No… not this…." Yuzu desperately stated.
A/N
No more playing around! Odd-Eyes is finally fully here and so is the Xyz Arc which ends next chapter before the final Fusion Arc!
